BACKGROUND Adult-onset Still's disease(AOSD)is a rare autoinflammatory disease charac-terized by nonspecific symptoms such as fever,rash,sore throat and arthralgia.This paper reports a clinical case of AOSD succes...BACKGROUND Adult-onset Still's disease(AOSD)is a rare autoinflammatory disease charac-terized by nonspecific symptoms such as fever,rash,sore throat and arthralgia.This paper reports a clinical case of AOSD successfully treated with Bo’s abdo-minal acupuncture(BAA).CASE SUMMARY We report a 20-year-old man who suffered from cold exposure,presenting with high fever,rash,sore throat,arthralgia,and elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate,leukocytosis with neutrophilic predominance,elevated ferritin,elevated C-reactive protein,and negative rheumatoid factors.He was diagnosed with AOSD based on the Yamaguchi criteria.After treatment with traditional Chinese medi-cine(TCM)decoction and prednisone acetate tablets,there was some alleviation of sore throat,joint and muscle pain,and fever,but he still had persistent low-grade fever,rash,sore throat and arthralgia.He went to the TCM acupuncture outpatient department to receive BAA.Abdominal acupoints Zhongwan(CV12),Xiawan(CV10),0.5 cm below Xiawan(CV10),Qihai(CV6),Guanyuan(CV4),bilateral Qixue(KI13),bilateral Huaroumen(ST24),bilateral Shangfengshidian(AB1)and bilateral Daheng(SP15)were selected.After 3 months treatment,all symptoms disappeared,and the laboratory examination returned to normal levels.He did not take glucocorticoids or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs afterwards,and no relapse was observed during the 3-year follow-up period.CONCLUSION BAA can be used as a complementary medical approach for treatment of AOSD.展开更多

Developing effective heterostructure strategies to mitigate the shuttling effect and accelerate lithium polysulfide(Li PS)conversion remains a critical challenge in lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries.Here,we report the f...Developing effective heterostructure strategies to mitigate the shuttling effect and accelerate lithium polysulfide(Li PS)conversion remains a critical challenge in lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries.Here,we report the first carbon–free VO_(2)–VS_(2)heterostructure material synthesized via in situ sulfurization,applied as a modifier on a commercial polypropylene(PP)separator(denoted as VO_(2)–VS_(2)@PP).The as–prepared VO_(2)–VS_(2)nanorods synergistically combine the high absorptivity of VO_(2)with the efficient catalytic properties of VS_(2),simultaneously enhancing Li PS anchoring and promoting its conversion.We systematically investigate the influence of material composition on battery performance,leveraging these functional attributes,Li–S cells incorporating VO_(2)–VS_(2)@PP exhibit exceptional cycle stability(over 500cycles at 1C),impressive rate performance(807 m Ah.g^(–1)at 5C),desirable reversibility(49.9%capacity retention after 300 cycles at 5C)and exceptional pouch cell performance(3.65 m Ah.cm^(–2)after 50 stable cycles at 0.1C).This study underscores the potential of tailored heterostructures in realizing high–performance Li–S batteries,offering new insights for next–generation energy storage solutions.展开更多
In multiphase pumps transporting gas-liquid two-phase flows,the high-speed rotation of the impeller induces complex deformations in bubble shapes within the flow domain,making the prediction of gasliquid two-phase dra...In multiphase pumps transporting gas-liquid two-phase flows,the high-speed rotation of the impeller induces complex deformations in bubble shapes within the flow domain,making the prediction of gasliquid two-phase drag forces highly challenging in numerical simulations.To achieve precise prediction of the drag forces on irregular bubbles within multiphase pumps,this study modifies the existing bubble drag force model and applies the revised model to the prediction of gas-liquid two-phase flow within multiphase pumps.The research findings indicate that the modified drag force model significantly enhances the accuracy of predicting flow characteristics within the pump,particularly under high gas volume fraction conditions.The simulation results for gas phase distribution and vorticity exhibit strong agreement with experimental data.The modified drag model better captures the accumulation of the gas phase at the suction side of the impeller outlet.It also accurately predicts the vortex characteristics induced by bubble backflow from the trailing edges of the diffuser.Additionally,the adjustment of the drag coefficient enhances the model’s ability to represent local flow field characteristics,thereby optimizing the performance simulation methods of multiphase pumps.Compared to traditional drag force models,the modified model reduces prediction errors in head and efficiency by 36.4%and 27.5%,respectively.These results provide important theoretical foundations and model support for improving the accuracy of gas-liquid two-phase flow simulations and optimizing the design of multiphase pumps under high gas volume fraction conditions.展开更多
Background:Acupuncture therapy provides a complementary and alternative approach to treating major depressive disorder(MDD),but its efficacy and safety have still not been comprehensively assessed.Recently published s...Background:Acupuncture therapy provides a complementary and alternative approach to treating major depressive disorder(MDD),but its efficacy and safety have still not been comprehensively assessed.Recently published systematic reviews remain confusing and inconclusive.Objective:This systematic review evaluated the efficacy and safety of acupuncture therapy alone or combined with antidepressants for adult patients with mild and moderate MDD.Search strategy:Chinese Biomedical Literature Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Database,Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database,Pub Med,Embase,and Cochrane Library were searched from their inceptions to March 2025.Inclusion criteria:Randomized controlled trials that compared acupuncture therapy with antidepressants,or acupuncture therapy plus antidepressants with acupuncture therapy or antidepressants for adult patients with mild and moderate MDD were included.Data extraction and analysis:Five reviewers independently extracted data from original literature using a standardized form,and the data were verified by two reviewers to ensure accuracy.Statistical meta-analyses,publication bias analyses,and subgroup analyses were performed by using Review Manager 5.3 software.The Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development,and Evaluation approach was used to assess the certainty of the evidence.Results:A total of 60 eligible studies including 4675 participants were included.Low-certainty evidence showed that compared with antidepressants,acupuncture therapy(standardized mean difference[SMD]=-0.57;95%confidence interval[CI]=[-0.87,-0.27];I^(2)=86%;P=0.006)or acupuncture therapy plus antidepressants(SMD=-1.00;95%CI=[-1.18,-0.81];I^(2)=77%;P<0.00001)may reduce the severity of depression at the end of treatment.Low-certainty evidence indicated that compared with acupuncture therapy alone,acupuncture therapy plus antidepressants slightly reduced the severity of depression at the end of treatment(SMD=-0.38;95%CI=[-0.61,-0.14];I^(2)=18%;P=0.002).Similar results were also found for acupuncture's relief of insomnia.The reported adverse effects of acupuncture therapy were mild and transient.For most of the subgroup analyses,acupuncture type,scale type,and the course of treatment did not show a significant relative effect.Conclusion:Acupuncture therapy may provide antidepressant effects and relieve insomnia with mild adverse effects for adult patients with mild and moderate MDD.But the certainty of evidence was very low.More high-quality,well designed,large-scale studies with long-term follow-up are needed in the future.展开更多
In this work,we analyze black hole-neutron star(BHNS)events using an astrophysically-motivated prior to derive updated,more tightly constrained estimates for component masses,mass ratios,and effective inspiral spin.Fo...In this work,we analyze black hole-neutron star(BHNS)events using an astrophysically-motivated prior to derive updated,more tightly constrained estimates for component masses,mass ratios,and effective inspiral spin.For most BHNS systems,the mean primary mass shifts to higher values,with significant cases such as GW190426 and GW200115,where the primary mass is entirely excluded from the lower-mass gap.While the primary mass of GW230529 remains within the gap,its mean value shifts slightly upward.In contrast,the secondary mass generally shifts toward the higher end of the mass spectrum.These changes highlight the substantial influence of prior choices-particularly the spin prior-on the inferred mass distributions.Additionally,for all BHNS events,the effective inspiral spin is tightly concentrated around zero,reinforcing the expectation of nearly nonspinning components in these systems.We also discuss the classical common-envelope formation scenario,which is widely considered the dominant channel for BHNS formation,where the BH formed from the more massive progenitor star is typically expected to have negligible spin.展开更多

To deeply understand and even describe the evolutions of the low-energy twin boundary density(BLDΣ3n)in a thermal-plastic deformation process,an improved twin density model as a function of average grain size and sto...To deeply understand and even describe the evolutions of the low-energy twin boundary density(BLDΣ3n)in a thermal-plastic deformation process,an improved twin density model as a function of average grain size and stored energy is developed.For Nimonic 80A superalloy,the model is solved based on the EBSD statistical results of grain size and BLDΣ3n in the specimens compressed at temperatures of 1273−1423 K and strain rates of 0.001−10 s−1.The corresponding relationships of BLDΣ3n with stored energy and grain size varying with temperature and strain rate are clarified by the superimposed contour plot maps.It is summarized that BLDΣ3n increases with increasing stored energy and decreasing grain size,and higher BLDΣ3n with finer grains corresponds with lower temperatures and higher strain rates.Such relationships are described by the improved twin density model,and the prediction tolerance of the solved model is limited in 2.8%.展开更多
BACKGROUND Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by prolonged elevation of blood glucose due to various causes.Currently,the relationship between diabetic retinopathy(DR)and altered connectivity of b...BACKGROUND Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by prolonged elevation of blood glucose due to various causes.Currently,the relationship between diabetic retinopathy(DR)and altered connectivity of brain function is unclear.AIM To investigate the relationship between this brain activity and clinical manifestations and behaviors of DR patients by using the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation(ALFF)technique.METHODS Twenty-four DR patients and 24 healthy controls(HCs)matched for age and gender were enrolled.We measured and recorded average ALFF values of DR patients and HCs and then classified them using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves.RESULTS ALFF values of both left and right posterior cerebellar lobe and right anterior cingulate gyrus were remarkably higher in the DR patients than in the HCs;however,DR patients had lower values in the bilateral calcarine area.ROC curve analysis of different brain regions demonstrated high accuracy in the area under the curve analysis.There was no significant relationship between mean ALFF values for different regions and clinical presentations in DR patients.Neuronal synchronization abnormalities in some brain regions of DR patients were associated with cognitive and visual disorders.CONCLUSION Abnormal spontaneous brain activity was observed in many areas of DR patients’brains,which may suggest a possible link between clinical manifestations and behaviors in DR patients.展开更多
Background In China's Mainland,patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration(nAMD)have approximately an 40%prevalence of polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy(PCV).This disease leads to recurrent retinal ...Background In China's Mainland,patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration(nAMD)have approximately an 40%prevalence of polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy(PCV).This disease leads to recurrent retinal pigment epithelium detachment(PED),extensive subretinal or vitreous hemorrhages,and severe vision loss.China has introduced various treatment modalities in the past years and gained comprehensive experience in treating PCV.Methods A total of 14 retinal specialists nationwide with expertise in PCV were empaneled to prioritize six questions and address their corresponding outcomes,regarding opinions on inactive PCV,choices of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(anti-VEGF)monotherapy,photodynamic therapy(PDT)monotherapy or combined therapy,patients with persistent subretinal fluid(SRF)or intraretinal fluid(IRF)after loading dose anti-VEGF,and patients with massive subretinal hemorrhage.An evidence synthesis team conducted systematic reviews,which informed the recommendations that address these questions.This guideline used the GRADE(Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Development,and Evaluation)approach to assess the certainty of evidence and grade the strengths of recommendations.Results The panel proposed the following six conditional recommendations regarding treatment choices.(1)For patients with inactive PCV,we suggest observation over treatment.(2)For treatment-na?ve PCV patients,we suggest either anti-VEGF monotherapy or combined anti-VEGF and PDT rather than PDT monotherapy.(3)For patients with PCV who plan to initiate combined anti-VEGF and PDT treatment,we suggest later/rescue PDT over initiate PDT.(4)For PCV patients who plan to initiate anti-VEGF monotherapy,we suggest the treat and extend(TE)regimen rather than the pro re nata(PRN)regimen following three monthly loading doses.(5)For patients with persistent SRF or IRF on optical coherence tomography(OCT)after three monthly anti-VEGF treatments,we suggest proceeding with anti-VEGF treatment rather than observation.(6)For PCV patients with massive subretinal hemorrhage(equal to or more than four optic disc areas)involving the central macula,we suggest surgery(vitrectomy in combination with tissue-plasminogen activator(tPA)intraocular injection and gas tamponade)rather than anti-VEGF monotherapy.Conclusions Six evidence-based recommendations support optimal care for PCV patients'management.展开更多
An innovational method that poly(styrene-co-maleic anhydride)(SMA),a compatibilizer of immiscible nylon6/polystyrene(PA6/PS) blends,was first reacted with carbon black(CB) and then blended with PA6/PS,has been employe...An innovational method that poly(styrene-co-maleic anhydride)(SMA),a compatibilizer of immiscible nylon6/polystyrene(PA6/PS) blends,was first reacted with carbon black(CB) and then blended with PA6/PS,has been employed to prepare the PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) composites of which CB localized at the interface.In PA6/PS/CB blends,CB was found to preferentially localize in the PA6 phase.However,in the PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) blends,it was found that CB particles can be induced by SMA to localize at the interface.The electrical porperties of PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) composites were investigated.The results showed that the composites exhibited distinct triple percolation behavior,i.e.the percolation is governed by the percolation of CB in SMA phase,the continuity of SMA-CB at the interface and the continuity of PA6/PS interface.The percolation threshold of PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) was only 0.15 wt%,which is much lower than that of PA6/PS/CB.Moreover,the PTC(positive temperature coefficient) intensity of PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) composites was stronger than that of PA6/PS/CB and the negative temperature coefficient(NTC) effect was eliminated.The electrical properties of PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) were explained in terms of its special interface morphology:SMA and CB localize at interphase to form the conductive pathways.展开更多

Biological acti...A series of novel 2-amino-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid derivatives were designed and synthesized.Their structures were confirmed by melting points, IR,1H NMR,13 C NMR, and HRMS or elemental analysis. Biological activities of all title compounds including fungicidal activity and antivirus activity were evaluated systematically. Preliminary bioassays indicated that these compounds exhibited good fungicidal activity at 50 mg/m L, compounds 4b and 4i exhibited over 50% activity against six fungi tested.Most compounds showed good activity against TMV with different models in vivo at 100 mg/m L.Compounds 4c and 4e stood out with high effects against TMV in vivo in all models tested, including protective, inactivative, curative, and inductive activities. These data demonstrate a new strategy for fungi and virus control.展开更多
BACKGROUND Diabetic vitreous hemorrhage(DVH)is a common complication of diabetes.While the diagnostic methods nowadays only concentrate on the eye injury in DVH patients,whether DVH leads to abnormalities of other vis...BACKGROUND Diabetic vitreous hemorrhage(DVH)is a common complication of diabetes.While the diagnostic methods nowadays only concentrate on the eye injury in DVH patients,whether DVH leads to abnormalities of other visual systems,including the eye,the visual cortex,and other brain regions,remains unknown.AIM To explore the potential changes of brain activity in DVH using regional homogeneity(ReHo)and their relationships with clinical features.METHODS Thirty-one DVH patients and 31 matched healthy controls(HCs)were recruited.All subjects were examined by resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging.The neural homogeneity in the brain region was estimated by ReHo method.Pearson correlation analysis was used to evaluate the relationships between average ReHo values and clinical manifestations in DVH patients.RESULTS Compared with HCs,the ReHo values in the bilateral cerebellar posterior lobes,right superior(RS)/middle occipital gyrus(MOG),and bilateral superior frontal gyrus were significantly increased.In contrast,in the right insula,bilateral medial frontal gyri,and right middle frontal gyrus,the ReHo values were significantly decreased.Furthermore,we found that best-corrected visual acuity of the contralateral eye in patients with DVH presented a positive correlation with the mean ReHo value of the RS/MOG.We also found that depression score of the DVH group presented a negative correlation with the mean ReHo values of the right insula,bilateral medial frontal gyrus,and right middle frontal gyrus.CONCLUSION We found that DVH may cause dysfunction in multiple brain areas,which may benefit the exploration of pathologic mechanisms in DVH patients.展开更多
Objective To evaluate the differences in 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure (BP) in older patients with hypertension treated with the five major classes of antihypertensive drugs,as monotherapy or dual combination ther...Objective To evaluate the differences in 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure (BP) in older patients with hypertension treated with the five major classes of antihypertensive drugs,as monotherapy or dual combination therapy,to improve daytime and nighttime BP control. Methods We enrolled 1920 Chinese community-dwelling outpatients aged ≥ 60 years and compared ambulatory BP values and ambulatory BP control (24-hour BP < 130/80 mmHg;daytime mean BP < 135/85 mmHg;and nighttime mean BP < 120/70 mmHg),as well as nighttime BP dip patterns for monotherapy and dual combination therapy groups. Results Patients’ mean age was 71 years,and 59.5% of patients were women. Calcium channel blockers (CCBs) constituted the most common (60.3% of patients) monotherapy,and renin–angiotensin system (RAS) blockers combined with CCBs was the most common (56.5% of patients) dual combination therapy. Monotherapy with beta-blockers (BB) provided the best daytime BP control. The probabilities of having a nighttime dip pattern and nighttime BP control were higher in patients receiving diuretics compared with CCBs (OR = 0.52,P = 0.05 and OR = 0.41,P = 0.007,respectively). Patients receiving RAS/diuretic combination therapy had a higher probability of having controlled nighttime BP compared with those receiving RAS/CCB (OR = 0.45,P = 0.004). Compared with RAS/diuretic therapy,BB/CCB therapy had a higher probability of achieving daytime BP control (OR = 1.27,P = 0.45). Conclusions Antihypertensive monotherapy and dual combination drug therapy provided different ambulatory BP control and nighttime BP dip patterns. BB-based regimens provided lower daytime BP,whereas diuretic-based therapies provided lower nighttime BP,compared with other antihypertensive regimens.展开更多

文摘目的:探究玻璃体腔注射康柏西普治疗弥漫性糖尿病性黄斑水肿(DDME)的眼表改变。方法:选取2019-01/06于我院眼科被诊断为DDME的患者20例,均为右眼发病,将右眼纳入试验组,左眼(未发生糖尿病性黄斑水肿)纳入对照组,试验组均行3次玻璃体腔注射康柏西普,对照组不采取任何治疗操作。观察治疗前和3次治疗后第1d矫正视力、眼压、浅表点状上皮糜烂情况、泪河高度、眼表症状及体征(OSDI)评分、泪液分泌试验(SⅠt)及角膜荧光素染色(CSF)评分。结果:治疗前,两组眼压、泪河高度、OSDI评分、SⅠt、CSF评分均无差异(P>0.05),且两组均未出现浅表点状上皮糜烂情况,但对照组矫正视力显著优于试验组(0.50±0.20 vs 1.65±0.35,P<0.05)。治疗后,试验组矫正视力、泪河高度、SⅠt明显低于对照组,OSDI和CSF评分明显高于对照组(均P<0.05),眼压升高幅度较对照组更大,但两组无差异(P>0.05),而试验组19眼出现了浅表点状上皮糜烂情况。与治疗前比较,试验组治疗后矫正视力明显改善,泪河高度和SⅠt明显降低,OSDI和CSF评分明显升高(均P<0.05),但眼压无明显变化(P>0.05);对照组各观察指标均无明显变化(P>0.05)。结论:玻璃体腔注射康柏西普治疗弥漫性糖尿病性黄斑水肿会损伤眼表。

文摘Developing effective heterostructure strategies to mitigate the shuttling effect and accelerate lithium polysulfide(Li PS)conversion remains a critical challenge in lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries.Here,we report the first carbon–free VO_(2)–VS_(2)heterostructure material synthesized via in situ sulfurization,applied as a modifier on a commercial polypropylene(PP)separator(denoted as VO_(2)–VS_(2)@PP).The as–prepared VO_(2)–VS_(2)nanorods synergistically combine the high absorptivity of VO_(2)with the efficient catalytic properties of VS_(2),simultaneously enhancing Li PS anchoring and promoting its conversion.We systematically investigate the influence of material composition on battery performance,leveraging these functional attributes,Li–S cells incorporating VO_(2)–VS_(2)@PP exhibit exceptional cycle stability(over 500cycles at 1C),impressive rate performance(807 m Ah.g^(–1)at 5C),desirable reversibility(49.9%capacity retention after 300 cycles at 5C)and exceptional pouch cell performance(3.65 m Ah.cm^(–2)after 50 stable cycles at 0.1C).This study underscores the potential of tailored heterostructures in realizing high–performance Li–S batteries,offering new insights for next–generation energy storage solutions.

文摘In multiphase pumps transporting gas-liquid two-phase flows,the high-speed rotation of the impeller induces complex deformations in bubble shapes within the flow domain,making the prediction of gasliquid two-phase drag forces highly challenging in numerical simulations.To achieve precise prediction of the drag forces on irregular bubbles within multiphase pumps,this study modifies the existing bubble drag force model and applies the revised model to the prediction of gas-liquid two-phase flow within multiphase pumps.The research findings indicate that the modified drag force model significantly enhances the accuracy of predicting flow characteristics within the pump,particularly under high gas volume fraction conditions.The simulation results for gas phase distribution and vorticity exhibit strong agreement with experimental data.The modified drag model better captures the accumulation of the gas phase at the suction side of the impeller outlet.It also accurately predicts the vortex characteristics induced by bubble backflow from the trailing edges of the diffuser.Additionally,the adjustment of the drag coefficient enhances the model’s ability to represent local flow field characteristics,thereby optimizing the performance simulation methods of multiphase pumps.Compared to traditional drag force models,the modified model reduces prediction errors in head and efficiency by 36.4%and 27.5%,respectively.These results provide important theoretical foundations and model support for improving the accuracy of gas-liquid two-phase flow simulations and optimizing the design of multiphase pumps under high gas volume fraction conditions.

文摘Background:Acupuncture therapy provides a complementary and alternative approach to treating major depressive disorder(MDD),but its efficacy and safety have still not been comprehensively assessed.Recently published systematic reviews remain confusing and inconclusive.Objective:This systematic review evaluated the efficacy and safety of acupuncture therapy alone or combined with antidepressants for adult patients with mild and moderate MDD.Search strategy:Chinese Biomedical Literature Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Database,Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database,Pub Med,Embase,and Cochrane Library were searched from their inceptions to March 2025.Inclusion criteria:Randomized controlled trials that compared acupuncture therapy with antidepressants,or acupuncture therapy plus antidepressants with acupuncture therapy or antidepressants for adult patients with mild and moderate MDD were included.Data extraction and analysis:Five reviewers independently extracted data from original literature using a standardized form,and the data were verified by two reviewers to ensure accuracy.Statistical meta-analyses,publication bias analyses,and subgroup analyses were performed by using Review Manager 5.3 software.The Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development,and Evaluation approach was used to assess the certainty of the evidence.Results:A total of 60 eligible studies including 4675 participants were included.Low-certainty evidence showed that compared with antidepressants,acupuncture therapy(standardized mean difference[SMD]=-0.57;95%confidence interval[CI]=[-0.87,-0.27];I^(2)=86%;P=0.006)or acupuncture therapy plus antidepressants(SMD=-1.00;95%CI=[-1.18,-0.81];I^(2)=77%;P<0.00001)may reduce the severity of depression at the end of treatment.Low-certainty evidence indicated that compared with acupuncture therapy alone,acupuncture therapy plus antidepressants slightly reduced the severity of depression at the end of treatment(SMD=-0.38;95%CI=[-0.61,-0.14];I^(2)=18%;P=0.002).Similar results were also found for acupuncture's relief of insomnia.The reported adverse effects of acupuncture therapy were mild and transient.For most of the subgroup analyses,acupuncture type,scale type,and the course of treatment did not show a significant relative effect.Conclusion:Acupuncture therapy may provide antidepressant effects and relieve insomnia with mild adverse effects for adult patients with mild and moderate MDD.But the certainty of evidence was very low.More high-quality,well designed,large-scale studies with long-term follow-up are needed in the future.

文摘In this work,we analyze black hole-neutron star(BHNS)events using an astrophysically-motivated prior to derive updated,more tightly constrained estimates for component masses,mass ratios,and effective inspiral spin.For most BHNS systems,the mean primary mass shifts to higher values,with significant cases such as GW190426 and GW200115,where the primary mass is entirely excluded from the lower-mass gap.While the primary mass of GW230529 remains within the gap,its mean value shifts slightly upward.In contrast,the secondary mass generally shifts toward the higher end of the mass spectrum.These changes highlight the substantial influence of prior choices-particularly the spin prior-on the inferred mass distributions.Additionally,for all BHNS events,the effective inspiral spin is tightly concentrated around zero,reinforcing the expectation of nearly nonspinning components in these systems.We also discuss the classical common-envelope formation scenario,which is widely considered the dominant channel for BHNS formation,where the BH formed from the more massive progenitor star is typically expected to have negligible spin.

文摘In order to deeply understand the grain growth behaviors of Ni80A superalloy,a series of grain growth experiments were conducted at holding temperatures ranging from 1223 to 1423 K and holding time ranging from 0 to 3600 s.A back-propagation artificial neural network(BP-ANN)model and a Sellars model were solved based on the experimental data.The prediction and generalization capabilities of these two models were evaluated and compared on the basis of four statistical indicators.The results show that the solved BP-ANN model has better performance as it has higher correlation coefficient(r),lower average absolute relative error(AARE),lower absolute values of mean value(μ)and standard deviation(ω).Eventually,a response surface of average grain size to holding temperature and holding time is constructed based on the data expanded by the solved BP-ANN model,and the grain growth behaviors are described.

文摘To deeply understand and even describe the evolutions of the low-energy twin boundary density(BLDΣ3n)in a thermal-plastic deformation process,an improved twin density model as a function of average grain size and stored energy is developed.For Nimonic 80A superalloy,the model is solved based on the EBSD statistical results of grain size and BLDΣ3n in the specimens compressed at temperatures of 1273−1423 K and strain rates of 0.001−10 s−1.The corresponding relationships of BLDΣ3n with stored energy and grain size varying with temperature and strain rate are clarified by the superimposed contour plot maps.It is summarized that BLDΣ3n increases with increasing stored energy and decreasing grain size,and higher BLDΣ3n with finer grains corresponds with lower temperatures and higher strain rates.Such relationships are described by the improved twin density model,and the prediction tolerance of the solved model is limited in 2.8%.
文摘BACKGROUND Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by prolonged elevation of blood glucose due to various causes.Currently,the relationship between diabetic retinopathy(DR)and altered connectivity of brain function is unclear.AIM To investigate the relationship between this brain activity and clinical manifestations and behaviors of DR patients by using the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation(ALFF)technique.METHODS Twenty-four DR patients and 24 healthy controls(HCs)matched for age and gender were enrolled.We measured and recorded average ALFF values of DR patients and HCs and then classified them using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves.RESULTS ALFF values of both left and right posterior cerebellar lobe and right anterior cingulate gyrus were remarkably higher in the DR patients than in the HCs;however,DR patients had lower values in the bilateral calcarine area.ROC curve analysis of different brain regions demonstrated high accuracy in the area under the curve analysis.There was no significant relationship between mean ALFF values for different regions and clinical presentations in DR patients.Neuronal synchronization abnormalities in some brain regions of DR patients were associated with cognitive and visual disorders.CONCLUSION Abnormal spontaneous brain activity was observed in many areas of DR patients’brains,which may suggest a possible link between clinical manifestations and behaviors in DR patients.
文摘Background In China's Mainland,patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration(nAMD)have approximately an 40%prevalence of polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy(PCV).This disease leads to recurrent retinal pigment epithelium detachment(PED),extensive subretinal or vitreous hemorrhages,and severe vision loss.China has introduced various treatment modalities in the past years and gained comprehensive experience in treating PCV.Methods A total of 14 retinal specialists nationwide with expertise in PCV were empaneled to prioritize six questions and address their corresponding outcomes,regarding opinions on inactive PCV,choices of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(anti-VEGF)monotherapy,photodynamic therapy(PDT)monotherapy or combined therapy,patients with persistent subretinal fluid(SRF)or intraretinal fluid(IRF)after loading dose anti-VEGF,and patients with massive subretinal hemorrhage.An evidence synthesis team conducted systematic reviews,which informed the recommendations that address these questions.This guideline used the GRADE(Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Development,and Evaluation)approach to assess the certainty of evidence and grade the strengths of recommendations.Results The panel proposed the following six conditional recommendations regarding treatment choices.(1)For patients with inactive PCV,we suggest observation over treatment.(2)For treatment-na?ve PCV patients,we suggest either anti-VEGF monotherapy or combined anti-VEGF and PDT rather than PDT monotherapy.(3)For patients with PCV who plan to initiate combined anti-VEGF and PDT treatment,we suggest later/rescue PDT over initiate PDT.(4)For PCV patients who plan to initiate anti-VEGF monotherapy,we suggest the treat and extend(TE)regimen rather than the pro re nata(PRN)regimen following three monthly loading doses.(5)For patients with persistent SRF or IRF on optical coherence tomography(OCT)after three monthly anti-VEGF treatments,we suggest proceeding with anti-VEGF treatment rather than observation.(6)For PCV patients with massive subretinal hemorrhage(equal to or more than four optic disc areas)involving the central macula,we suggest surgery(vitrectomy in combination with tissue-plasminogen activator(tPA)intraocular injection and gas tamponade)rather than anti-VEGF monotherapy.Conclusions Six evidence-based recommendations support optimal care for PCV patients'management.

文摘An innovational method that poly(styrene-co-maleic anhydride)(SMA),a compatibilizer of immiscible nylon6/polystyrene(PA6/PS) blends,was first reacted with carbon black(CB) and then blended with PA6/PS,has been employed to prepare the PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) composites of which CB localized at the interface.In PA6/PS/CB blends,CB was found to preferentially localize in the PA6 phase.However,in the PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) blends,it was found that CB particles can be induced by SMA to localize at the interface.The electrical porperties of PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) composites were investigated.The results showed that the composites exhibited distinct triple percolation behavior,i.e.the percolation is governed by the percolation of CB in SMA phase,the continuity of SMA-CB at the interface and the continuity of PA6/PS interface.The percolation threshold of PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) was only 0.15 wt%,which is much lower than that of PA6/PS/CB.Moreover,the PTC(positive temperature coefficient) intensity of PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) composites was stronger than that of PA6/PS/CB and the negative temperature coefficient(NTC) effect was eliminated.The electrical properties of PA6/PS/(SMA-CB) were explained in terms of its special interface morphology:SMA and CB localize at interphase to form the conductive pathways.

文摘Quantum system is inevitably affected by the external environment in the real world.Two controlled quantum dialogue protocols are put forward based on logicalχ-type states under collective noise environment.One is against collectivedephasing noise,while the other is against collective-rotation noise.Compared with existing protocols,there exist several outstanding advantages in our proposed protocols:Firstly,theχ-type state is utilized as quantum channels,it possesses better entanglement properties than GHZ state,W state as well as cluster state,which make it difficult to be destroyed by local operations.Secondly,two kinds of logicalχ-type states are constructed by us in theory,which can be perfectly immune to the effects of collective noise.Thirdly,the controller can be offline after quantum distribution and permission announcement,without waiting for all the participants to complete the information coding.Fourthly,the security analysis illuminates that our protocols can not only be free from the information leakage,but also resist against the interceptand-resend attack,the entanglement-and-measure attack,the modification attack,the conspiring attack,and especially the dishonest controller’s attacks.

文摘A series of novel 2-amino-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid derivatives were designed and synthesized.Their structures were confirmed by melting points, IR,1H NMR,13 C NMR, and HRMS or elemental analysis. Biological activities of all title compounds including fungicidal activity and antivirus activity were evaluated systematically. Preliminary bioassays indicated that these compounds exhibited good fungicidal activity at 50 mg/m L, compounds 4b and 4i exhibited over 50% activity against six fungi tested.Most compounds showed good activity against TMV with different models in vivo at 100 mg/m L.Compounds 4c and 4e stood out with high effects against TMV in vivo in all models tested, including protective, inactivative, curative, and inductive activities. These data demonstrate a new strategy for fungi and virus control.
文摘BACKGROUND Diabetic vitreous hemorrhage(DVH)is a common complication of diabetes.While the diagnostic methods nowadays only concentrate on the eye injury in DVH patients,whether DVH leads to abnormalities of other visual systems,including the eye,the visual cortex,and other brain regions,remains unknown.AIM To explore the potential changes of brain activity in DVH using regional homogeneity(ReHo)and their relationships with clinical features.METHODS Thirty-one DVH patients and 31 matched healthy controls(HCs)were recruited.All subjects were examined by resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging.The neural homogeneity in the brain region was estimated by ReHo method.Pearson correlation analysis was used to evaluate the relationships between average ReHo values and clinical manifestations in DVH patients.RESULTS Compared with HCs,the ReHo values in the bilateral cerebellar posterior lobes,right superior(RS)/middle occipital gyrus(MOG),and bilateral superior frontal gyrus were significantly increased.In contrast,in the right insula,bilateral medial frontal gyri,and right middle frontal gyrus,the ReHo values were significantly decreased.Furthermore,we found that best-corrected visual acuity of the contralateral eye in patients with DVH presented a positive correlation with the mean ReHo value of the RS/MOG.We also found that depression score of the DVH group presented a negative correlation with the mean ReHo values of the right insula,bilateral medial frontal gyrus,and right middle frontal gyrus.CONCLUSION We found that DVH may cause dysfunction in multiple brain areas,which may benefit the exploration of pathologic mechanisms in DVH patients.

文摘Objective To evaluate the differences in 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure (BP) in older patients with hypertension treated with the five major classes of antihypertensive drugs,as monotherapy or dual combination therapy,to improve daytime and nighttime BP control. Methods We enrolled 1920 Chinese community-dwelling outpatients aged ≥ 60 years and compared ambulatory BP values and ambulatory BP control (24-hour BP < 130/80 mmHg;daytime mean BP < 135/85 mmHg;and nighttime mean BP < 120/70 mmHg),as well as nighttime BP dip patterns for monotherapy and dual combination therapy groups. Results Patients’ mean age was 71 years,and 59.5% of patients were women. Calcium channel blockers (CCBs) constituted the most common (60.3% of patients) monotherapy,and renin–angiotensin system (RAS) blockers combined with CCBs was the most common (56.5% of patients) dual combination therapy. Monotherapy with beta-blockers (BB) provided the best daytime BP control. The probabilities of having a nighttime dip pattern and nighttime BP control were higher in patients receiving diuretics compared with CCBs (OR = 0.52,P = 0.05 and OR = 0.41,P = 0.007,respectively). Patients receiving RAS/diuretic combination therapy had a higher probability of having controlled nighttime BP compared with those receiving RAS/CCB (OR = 0.45,P = 0.004). Compared with RAS/diuretic therapy,BB/CCB therapy had a higher probability of achieving daytime BP control (OR = 1.27,P = 0.45). Conclusions Antihypertensive monotherapy and dual combination drug therapy provided different ambulatory BP control and nighttime BP dip patterns. BB-based regimens provided lower daytime BP,whereas diuretic-based therapies provided lower nighttime BP,compared with other antihypertensive regimens.
