Our previous study demonstrated that combined transplantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and retinal progenitor cells in rats has therapeutic effects on retinal degeneration that are superior to transplantation of retinal progenitor cells alone.Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells regulate and interact with various cells in the retinal microenvironment by secreting neurotrophic factors and extracellular vesicles.Small extracellular vesicles derived from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells,which offer low immunogenicity,minimal tumorigenic risk,and ease of transportation,have been utilized in the treatment of various neurological diseases.These vesicles exhibit various activities,including anti-inflammatory actions,promotion of tissue repair,and immune regulation.Therefore,novel strategies using human retinal progenitor cells combined with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived small extracellular vesicles may represent an innovation in stem cell therapy for retinal degeneration.In this study,we developed such an approach utilizing retinal progenitor cells combined with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived small extracellular vesicles to treat retinal degeneration in Royal College of Surgeons rats,a genetic model of retinal degeneration.Our findings revealed that the combination of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived small extracellular vesicles and retinal progenitor cells significantly improved visual function in these rats.The addition of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived small extracellular vesicles as adjuvants to stem cell transplantation with retinal progenitor cells enhanced the survival,migration,and differentiation of the exogenous retinal progenitor cells.Concurrently,these small extracellular vesicles inhibited the activation of regional microglia,promoted the migration of transplanted retinal progenitor cells to the inner nuclear layer of the retina,and facilitated their differentiation into photoreceptors and bipolar cells.These findings suggest that bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived small extracellular vesicles potentiate the therapeutic efficacy of retinal progenitor cells in retinal degeneration by promoting their survival and differentiation. 展开更多

Optimizing a multimedia model to assess the differential roles of crops and natural vegetation in the fate of PAHs

Vegetation plays an important role in the environmental transport behavior of organic pollutants,however,the different roles of crops and natural vegetation have been ignored in most previous studies.In this study,we developed the BETR-Urban-Rural-Veg model to quantitatively evaluate the influences of both natural vegetation and crops on the multimedia transport processes of Phenanthrene(PHE)and Benzo(a)pyrene(BaP)in mainland of China.The geographic distribution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon(PAH)emissions and concentrations were consistent,displaying higher levels in northern China while lower levels in southern China.Under seasonal simulations,for both natural vegetation and crops,PAH concentrations in winter and spring were 1.5 to 27-fold higher than in summer and autumn,especially for PHE.Owing to the higher leaf area index(LAI)of natural vegetation and harvesting of crops,the filter and sequestration effect of natural vegetation was stronger than crops,while the seasonal changes of PAH concentrations in crops were more significant than natural vegetation.Temperature,precipitation rates and LAI might have important influences on seasonal concentrations and overall persistence of PAHs.PHE was more sensitive to the impacts of seasonal environmental parameters.Under different landscape scenarios,average annual PAH concentrations in natural vegetation were always a little higher than those in crops,and the overall persistence of BaP was greatly affected increasing by 15.15%-16.47%.This improved model provides a useful tool for environmental management.The results of this study are expected to support land use plans and decision-making in China's mainland. 展开更多

The L(+)-form of tartaric acid(I(+)-TA)exists extensively in nature,and is widely used in the food,chemical,textile,building,and pharmaceutical in-dustries(Su et al.,2001).The main method for L(+)-TA production is microbial transformation by cis-epoxysuccinate hydrolase(CESH),which can catalyze the asymmetric hydrolysis of cis epoxysuccinic acid or its salts to TA or tartrate(Bao et al.,2019).Seventeen species containing CESH have been isolated so far.However,most species for L(+)-TA production have been reported from bacteria(Xuan and Feng,2019).The only fungus isolated from soil by our lab recently,that could be used as catalyst for the process under acidic condition,is Aspergillus niger WH-2(Bao et al,2020).In order to find strains with new characteristics,this study attempted to isolate a new CESH source from fungi and investigate its application value. 展开更多

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs)have been regarded as promising alternatives to Li-ion batteries due to their advantages,such as low cost,high safety,and environmental friendliness.However,AZIBs face significant challenges in limited stability and lifetime owing to zinc dendrite growth and serious side reactions caused by water molecules in the aqueous electrolyte during cycling.To address these issues,a new eutectic electrolyte based on Zn(ClO_(4))_(2)·6H_(2)O-N-methylacetamide(ZN)is proposed in this work.Compared with aqueous electrolyte,the ZN eutectic electrolyte containing organic N-methylacetamide could regulate the solvated structure of Zn^(2+),effectively suppressing zinc dendrite growth and side reactions.As a result,the Zn//NH4 V4 O10 full cell with the eutectic ZN-1-3 electrolyte demonstrates significantly enhanced cycling stability after 1000 cycles at 1 A g^(-1).Therefore,this study not only presents a new eutectic electrolyte for zinc-ion batteries but also provides a deep understanding of the influence of Zn^(2+)solvation structure on the cycle stability,contributing to the exploration of novel electrolytes for high-performance AZIBs. 展开更多

The good combination of mechanical and wear properties for cemented carbides is crucial.In this work,the wear behavior of functionally graded cemented carbide(FGCC)and non-graded cemented carbide(CC),with CoNiFeCr multi-principal-element alloy(MPEA)binder,has been investigated by performing sliding wear tests and composition characterization.The results showed that compared with CC,FGCC had higher hardness,stronger fracture toughness,better wear performance,and similar TRS.FGCCs exhibited lower wear rates(3.44×10^(−7)–6.95×10^(−6)mm^(3)/(N m))and coefficients of friction(COFs)(0.27–0.39)than CCs from RT to 600℃due to mitigation of multiple risks caused by binder removal,fragmentation and pull-out of WC grains,high-temperature oxidation and softening.In the low-temperature wear stage,the MPEA binder underwent dynamic recrystallization(DRX)and twinning deformation before removing from the surface.The binder removal caused dislocation pile-ups and stacking faults(SFs)to form under high stress,resulting in fragmentation and pull-out of WC grains.The low-temperature wear was dominated by abrasive wear and adhesive wear,with a low wear rate and a high and unstable COF.In the high-temperature wear stage,initial pitting oxidation of WC grains generated many subgrain boundaries,reducing heat transfer and exacerbating oxidation,resulting in an oxide layer enriched with WO3,Mx Oy,and MWO4.High-temperature wear was dominated by oxidation wear and high-temperature softening,with a high wear rate and a low and smooth COF.The results from the present study do not only provide theoretical guidance for an understanding of the antiwear mechanism of WC-CoNiFeCr,but also a new approach for the preparation of cemented carbides with high wear resistance. 展开更多

The poor reversibility and stability of Zn anodes greatly restrict the practical application of aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs),resulting from the uncontrollable dendrite growth and H_(2)O-induced side reactions during cycling.Electrolyte additive modification is considered one of the most effective and simplest methods for solving the aforementioned problems.Herein,the pyridine derivatives(PD)including 2,4-dihydroxypyridine(2,4-DHP),2,3-dihydroxypyridine(2,3-DHP),and 2-hydroxypyrdine(2-DHP),were em-ployed as novel electrolyte additives in ZnSO_(4)electrolyte.Both density functional theory calculation and experimental findings demonstrated that the incorporation of PD additives into the electrolyte effectively modulates the solvation structure of hydrated Zn ions,thereby suppressing side reactions in AZIBs.Ad-ditionally,the adsorption of PD molecules on the zinc anode surface contributed to uniform Zn deposi-tion and dendrite growth inhibition.Consequently,a 2,4-DHP-modified Zn/Zn symmetrical cell achieved an extremely long cyclic stability up to 5650 h at 1 mA cm^(-2).Furthermore,the Zn/NH_(4)V_(4)O_(10)full cell with 2,4-DHP-containing electrolyte exhibited an outstanding initial capacity of 204 mAh g^(-1),with a no-table capacity retention of 79%after 1000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1).Hence,this study expands the selection of electrolyte additives for AZIBs,and the working mechanism of PD additives provides new insights for electrolyte modification enabling highly reversible zinc anode. 展开更多

The graded density impactor(GDI)dynamic loading technique is crucial for acquiring the dynamic physical property parameters of materials used in weapons.The accuracy and timeliness of GDI structural design are key to achieving controllable stress-strain rate loading.In this study,we have,for the first time,combined one-dimensional fluid computational software with machine learning methods.We first elucidated the mechanisms by which GDI structures control stress and strain rates.Subsequently,we constructed a machine learning model to create a structure-property response surface.The results show that altering the loading velocity and interlayer thickness has a pronounced regulatory effect on stress and strain rates.In contrast,the impedance distribution index and target thickness have less significant effects on stress regulation,although there is a matching relationship between target thickness and interlayer thickness.Compared with traditional design methods,the machine learning approach offers a10^(4)—10^(5)times increase in efficiency and the potential to achieve a global optimum,holding promise for guiding the design of GDI. 展开更多

The future large-scale application of sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)is inseparable from their excellent electrochemical performance and reliable safety characteristics.At present,there are few studies focusing on their safety performance.The analysis of thermal stability and structural changes within a single material cannot systematically describe the complex interplay of components within the battery system during the thermal runaway process.Furthermore,the reaction between the battery materials themselves and their counterparts within the system can stimulate more intense exothermic behavior,thereby affecting the safety of the entire battery system.Therefore,this study delved into the thermal generation and gas evolution characteristics of the positive electrode(Na_(x)Ni_(1/3)Fe_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)O_(2),NFM111)and the negative electrode(hard carbon,HC)in SIBs,utilizing various material combinations.Through the integration of microscopic and macroscopic characterization techniques,the underlying reaction mechanisms of the positive and negative electrode materials within the battery during the heating process were elucidated.Three important results are derived from this study:(Ⅰ)The instability of the solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)leads to its decomposition at temperatures below 100℃,followed by extensive decomposition within the range of 100-150℃,yielding heat and the formation of inorganic compounds,such as Na_(2)CO_(3)and Na_(2)O;(Ⅱ)The reaction between NFM111 and the electrolyte constitutes the primary exothermic event during thermal abuse,with a discernible reaction also occurring between sodium metal and the electrolyte throughout the heating process;(Ⅲ)The heat production and gas generation behaviors of multi-component reactions do not exhibit complete correlation,and the occurrence of gas production does not necessarily coincide with thermal behavior.The results presented in this study can provide useful guidance for the safety improvement of SIBs. 展开更多

Phase measuring deflectometry(PMD)is a robust,noncoherent technique for the characterization of specular surface.For measuring high specular reflectivity surface,PMD can deliver micron radian range local gradient.However,when the measured surface has low specular reflectivity,the accuracy of the measured gradient is low since the captured fringe pattern shows low signal to noise ratio.The phase error characteristics in PMD system when testing low reflectivity surfaces are analyzed.The analysis illustrates that the random phase error increases rapidly while the nonlinear error drops slowly with the decreasing of the tested surface reflectivity.In order to attain high precision measurement of low reflectivity specular surface,a robust error reduction method based on wavelet de-noising is proposed to reduce the phase error.This error reduction method is compared with several other normally used methods in both simulation and experiment work.The method based on the wavelet de-noising shows better performance when measuring the low reflectivity specular surface. 展开更多

中三叠统雷口坡组是四川盆地西部近年来海相天然气勘探的热点层系之一,业内对其成藏条件和气藏类型的认识存在较大分歧。研究表明,川西地区雷口坡组四段油气成藏条件优越,潮坪相白云岩储层大规模稳定展布,二叠系和中三叠统雷口坡组2套... 中三叠统雷口坡组是四川盆地西部近年来海相天然气勘探的热点层系之一,业内对其成藏条件和气藏类型的认识存在较大分歧。研究表明,川西地区雷口坡组四段油气成藏条件优越,潮坪相白云岩储层大规模稳定展布,二叠系和中三叠统雷口坡组2套烃源岩发育。雷四段在川西坳陷由西向东发育3种成藏模式,即跨层烃源断裂+裂缝复合输导的下生上储式构造气藏,小型烃源断裂+层内裂缝“接力式”输导的下生上储式构造—地层气藏,以及层内裂缝输导的自生自储式岩性气藏。除了目前已获得超千亿方探明储量的川西龙门山前雷四段构造气藏外,坳陷东侧雷口坡组四段尖灭线附近为探索构造—地层气藏的有利区域,坳陷东侧斜坡带中下部(广汉斜坡带)是探索岩性气藏的有利区域。 展开更多

目的探讨腹腔镜辅助经肛全直肠系膜切除术(TaTME)治疗中低位直肠癌的安全性和有效性,并分享手术经验。方法回顾性分析南华大学附属第一医院胃肠外科2017年12月-2018年12月行腹腔镜辅助TaTME的32例中低位直肠癌患者的临床资料。结果32例... 目的探讨腹腔镜辅助经肛全直肠系膜切除术(TaTME)治疗中低位直肠癌的安全性和有效性,并分享手术经验。方法回顾性分析南华大学附属第一医院胃肠外科2017年12月-2018年12月行腹腔镜辅助TaTME的32例中低位直肠癌患者的临床资料。结果32例患者均顺利完成手术,无中转开腹者;手术时间为(257.50±32.60)min,术中出血量为(76.56±15.64)ml;TME标本质量优良者(评价为3级/2级)占96.88%,环周切缘阴性率为96.88%,远切缘阴性率为100.00%;术后排气时间为(1.69±0.54)d,首次下床活动时间为(1.34±0.28)d,引流管拔除时间为(7.63±3.26)d,术后住院天数为(12.87±1.56)d;术后无严重并发症(Clavien-DindoⅢ~Ⅳ级)发生;中位随访11.5个月,未见肿瘤复发转移。结论①对于中低位直肠癌患者,腹腔镜辅助TaTME是安全可行的,近期疗效较好;②应严格把握TaTME的适应证,并在掌握技术要点的基础上谨慎开展。 展开更多

The four-decade quest for synthesizing ambient-stable polymeric nitrogen,a promising high-energy-density material,remains an unsolved challenge in materials science.We develop a multi-stage computational strategy employing density functional tight-binding-based rapid screening combined with density functional theory refinement and global structure searching,effectively bridging computational efficiency with quantum accuracy.This integrated approach identifies four novel polymeric nitrogen phases(Fddd,P3221,I4m2,and𝑃P6522)that are thermodynamically stable at ambient pressure.Remarkably,the helical𝑃6522 configuration demonstrates exceptional thermal resilience up to 1500 K,representing a predicted polymeric nitrogen structure that maintains stability under both atmospheric pressure and high-temperature extremes.Our methodology establishes a paradigm-shifting framework for the accelerated discovery of metastable energetic materials,resolving critical bottlenecks in theoretical predictions while providing experimentally actionable targets for polymeric nitrogen synthesis. 展开更多

目的:初步探究视网膜非压迫变白(white without pressure,WWOP)在健康青少年人群中的分布规律,为空军招飞和健康体检提供理论支持。方法:选取参加2018年空军招收飞行学员医学选拔的高中毕业学员461名和青少年航校入校选拔的初中毕业学... 目的:初步探究视网膜非压迫变白(white without pressure,WWOP)在健康青少年人群中的分布规律,为空军招飞和健康体检提供理论支持。方法:选取参加2018年空军招收飞行学员医学选拔的高中毕业学员461名和青少年航校入校选拔的初中毕业学员71名作为研究对象。利用超广角激光眼底扫描系统配合直接眼底镜及三面镜检查,对WWOP等眼底病变进行筛查。结果:本研究纳入的健康青少年人群中WWOP检出率高达2. 63%,初中毕业和高中毕业学员WWOP检出率差异无统计学意义(P>0. 05)。本研究检出的WWOP病变以颞侧象限为主,尤其以颞下象限多见。高中毕业学员存在WWOP的眼合并其它周边部视网膜变性的比例高达18. 18%,较无WWOP眼显著增高。结论:WWOP在健康青少年人群中并不罕见,病变以颞侧多见,病变区域内合并其它视网膜变性的比例显著增高,体检过程中发现WWOP体征时需对周边视网膜进行仔细检查,避免漏诊、误诊。 展开更多

BACKGROUND Studies on the application of recombinant human endostatin(RH-endostatin)intraperitoneal perfusion in gastric cancer(GC)with malignant ascites are limited.AIM To explore the effectiveness,prognosis,and safety of intraperitoneal RH-endostatin perfusion in treating patients with GC and malignant ascites.METHODS Patients with GC and malignant ascites were divided into the cisplatin intraperi-toneal perfusion(control group)group and the cisplatin combined with RH-endostatin intraperitoneal perfusion group(RH-endostatin group).Efficient ascites control,overall survival(OS),quality of life,and adverse events were observed,and possible influencing factors on prognosis outcomes analyzed.RESULTS We identified no significant differences in baseline characteristics between the control and RH-endostatin groups.The latter group had higher ascites control rates than the control group.Treatment methods were identified as an independent OS factor.Clinically,RH-endostatin-treated patients had significantly improved OS rates when compared with control patients,particularly in those with small and moderate ascites volumes.Quality of life improvements in control patients were significantly lower when compared with RH-endostatin patients.Adverse events were balanced between the groups.CONCLUSION Overall,intraperitoneal RH-endostatin improved treatment efficacy and prolonged prognosis in patients with GC and malignant ascites.This approach may benefit further clinical applications for treating GC. 展开更多

Impact of town planning on direct residential CO_(2)emissions in rural China

China’s commitment to carbon neutrality by 2060 has made decarbonization a key principle for spatial planning(also referred to as urban/city/town planning).Although the mitigation effect of spatial planning in urban areas has been well documented,its significance in rural development has yet to be investigated.This paper addresses this research gap by empirically examining the influence of town planning on rural direct residential CO_(2)emissions(DRCEs)across 30 provinces in China.Based on various quantitative models,this study not only confirms the significant impact of town planning on rural DRCEs and the moderation effect of plan implementation capacity but also discloses that different dimensions of town planning have disparate roles in rural DRCE reduction.Additionally,regional variations in the mitigation effects of town planning on rural DRCEs were observed.The study also reveals spatial spillover effects,indicating that the influence of town planning on rural DRCEs extends beyond individual areas.Overall,China’s experiences demonstrate that well-managed town planning could play an essential role in low-carbon rural revitalization or,otherwise,it may augment rural DRCEs per capita.Consequently,governments should ascribe great importance to low-carbon town planning and allocate sufficient resources to towns,especially those in the central and western regions,so that they can afford professional planning consultation and adequate staffing in plan implementation.Moreover,governments should cooperate to promote knowledge sharing and transferring of low-carbon planning. 展开更多

To address the high-quality forged videos,traditional approaches typically have low recognition accuracy and tend to be easily misclassified.This paper tries to address the challenge of detecting high-quality deepfake videos by promoting the accuracy of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content(AIGC)video authenticity detection with a multimodal information fusion approach.First,a high-quality multimodal video dataset is collected and normalized,including resolution correction and frame rate unification.Next,feature extraction techniques are employed to draw out features from visual,audio,and text modalities.Subsequently,these features are fused into a multilayer perceptron and attention mechanisms-based multimodal feature matrix.Finally,the matrix is fed into a multimodal information fusion layer in order to construct and train a deep learning model.Experimental findings show that the multimodal fusion model achieves an accuracy of 93.8%for the detection of video authenticity,showing significant improvement against other unimodal models,as well as affirming better performance and resistance of the model to AIGC video authenticity detection. 展开更多
