The heavy-atom effect of halogen(Br and I)has been widely employed for boosting spin-crossover in organic molecules,while recent investigation indicated halogen-substitution can also enhance fluorescence and even lead to aggregation-induced emission(AIE).In this work,we investigated ultrafast excited state dynamics of a halogen-substituted model system,i.e.squaryliums NSQ-R(R=H,Cl,Br,I),by using femtosecond spectroscopy and theoretical approach.Fast external reorganization(Ex-re,~3 ps)and slow internal reorganization(In-re,5-20 ps)were observed,while quantitative fitting indicated halogen-substitution leads to a slower non-radiative S1→S0 decay(k_(NR)^(s))and subsequently enhanced fluorescence emitting.By analyzing the extracted k_(NR)^(s)within theoretical framework of non-radiative transition in the strong coupling regime,a plausible AIE mechanism of NSQs was revealed.Our work provides a clear picture on non-radiative dynamics of halogen-substituted squaryliums,which might be useful for future development of organic dyes. 展开更多

[Objectives] This study was conducted to investigate the effect of organic nutrient solution on litchi quality. [Methods] Different concentrations of organic nutrient solutions were sprayed on litchi leaves to study their effects on amino acid contents in the fruit of litchi cultivar "Qinzhouhongli". [Results] The results showed that the organic nutrient solution could significantly promote the growth of litchi fruit at various development stages and improve fruit quality by spraying the organic nutrient solution for 3 times with a dilution concentration of 500-1 500 times during fruit development(at an interval of 15 d) of litchi. It could increase the total essential amino acid, total semi-essential amino acid, lysine, phenylalanine, threonine, methionine, valine, leucine, histidine, arginine, aspartic acid, glycine, serine, proline, alanine and tyrosine contents. Spraying the organic nutrient solution with a dilution concentration of 1 000 times achieved the best effect of promoting the growth and improving quality of litchi fruit. [Conclusions] This study provides a theoretical basis for high-quality production and nutritional quality evaluation of litchi and the development of functional processed litchi products. 展开更多

Study on Infection Ability of Rhizobium radiobacter from Rosa chinensis to Peach Tree

[Objectives] This study was conducted to analyze the infection ability of Rhizobium radiobacter from Rosa chinensis to peach tree,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the identification and control of crown gall of peach. [Methods]With peach variety " Chiyohime" as an experimental material,R. radiobacter GOU1 was extracted from crown gall tissue of R. chinensis susceptible to crown gall,and its infection ability to peach tree was studied by in-vitro dip method.[Results]Stem segments of peach tree were inoculated with R. radiobacter GOU1 by in-vitro dip method. Calli grew rapidly after inoculation,and 28 d later,the infection rate of R. radiobacter GOU1 was 50%,indicating that R. radiobacter GOU1 could infect peach tree easier. The infection on stem segments of peach tree could be detected in the fourth week by in-vitro dip method. Culturing peach stem segments in MS medium containing 10 μM/L NAA and 10 μM/L BAP in vitro is beneficial to survival and could promote growth of callus. [Conclusions]The detection rate of R. radiobacter GOU1 infection on stem segments of peach tree did not change from the fourth week to the sixth week. Therefore,in future studies,the detection of R. radiobacter infection on inoculated stem segments of peach tree could be performed after 4 weeks of culture rather than 6 weeks of culture. 展开更多
