Steel slag(SS)accumulates unavoidably due to its complex and unstable composition,high production volumes,and limited value-added resource utilization.Single or multiple interface modifiers were proposed to enhance th...Steel slag(SS)accumulates unavoidably due to its complex and unstable composition,high production volumes,and limited value-added resource utilization.Single or multiple interface modifiers were proposed to enhance the properties of SS through high-speed dispersion,transforming its inherent hydrophilic and oleophobic characteristics into hydrophily and lipophilicity.The modification effects were innovatively assessed by observing the color changes of modified steel slag solutions following the dissolution-settlement equilibrium constant.This approach avoided human-induced errors and improved estimated accuracy in conformance with conventional methods such as oil absorption value,activation index,sedimentation volume,and lipophilicity.The hydrolysis of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(KH)generated–Si(OH)_(3)structure to form hydrogen or covalent bonds with active substances(OH groups)from SS.Concurrently,SS underwent encapsulation via Si–O–Si structure resulting from the dehydration of–Si(OH)_(3).The stearic acid coupling agent(SA),aluminate coupling agent(AC),and titanate coupling agent(TN)underwent chemical reactions with Ca(OH)_(2),Al(OH)_(3),and CaCO_(3)in SS.The acidic SA primarily created stable chemical bonds and acted as a supplement due to its package,reducing surface activity and hydrophilicity while enhancing lipophilicity.Specifically,the optimal modification effect was obtained at 3 wt.%SA.Consequently,3 wt.%SA was established as the benchmark for multiple modifiers and the most effective combination was 3 wt.%SA and 3 wt.%AC.Compared with a single interface modifier,SA corroded the SS surface to provide numerous active sites for further modification by KH,AC,or TN,resulting in a more densely packed structure.In addition,more organic groups on SS prevent the proximity of other particles from agglomerating to achieve dispersion and a synergistic modification,laying a theoretical foundation of SS in a new pathway for organic composite materials.展开更多
Air-sea water vapor and CO_(2) flux observation experiments were carried out at the Yantai National Satellite Ocean Calibration Platform and the jetty at Monolithic Beach,Juehua Island,using a 100 Hz gas analyzer.The ...Air-sea water vapor and CO_(2) flux observation experiments were carried out at the Yantai National Satellite Ocean Calibration Platform and the jetty at Monolithic Beach,Juehua Island,using a 100 Hz gas analyzer.The observations were corrected by employing wild point rejection,linear detrending,delay correction,coordinate rotation,time matching,and Webb,Pearman,and Leuning(WPL)correction.The results of spectral analysis and a turbulence development adequacy data quality check showed that the overall observation data quality was good.The air-sea water vapor and CO_(2) flux results showed that the observation duration affected both the air-sea flux intensity and direction at different observation frequencies.At shorter observation durations,the air-sea flux values measured at 100 Hz were smaller than the 20 Hz measurements and had opposite directions.In addition,the WPL correction reduced the overall air-sea flux and partially minimized the effect of observation frequency on the air-sea flux intensity.These results showed that high-frequency observations showed more turbulence variations than low-frequency observations.This conclusion could promote an understanding of small-scale turbulence variations.展开更多
Accurate genotyping and prognosis of glioma patients present significant clinical challenges,often dependent on subjective judgement and insufficient scientific evidence.This study aims to develop a robust,noninvasive...Accurate genotyping and prognosis of glioma patients present significant clinical challenges,often dependent on subjective judgement and insufficient scientific evidence.This study aims to develop a robust,noninvasive preoperative multi-modal MRIbased transformer learning model to predict IDH genotyping and glioma prognosis.This multi-centre study included 563 glioma patients to develop an interpretable classification model utilising various preoperative imaging sequences,including T1-weighted,T2-weighted,fluid-attenuated inversion recovery,contrast-enhanced T1-weighted,and diffusion-weighted imaging.The model employs a multi-task learning framework to extract and fuse radiomic,deep learning,and clinical features for IDH genotyping and glioma prognosis.Additionally,a multi-modal transformer strategy is integrated to analyse structural and functional MRI,thereby enhancing model performance.Experimental results indicate that the model demonstrates superior performance,surpassing previous research and other state-of-the-art methods.The model achieves an AUC of 91.40% in the IDH genotyping task and 93.37% in the glioma prognosis task.Group analysis reveals that the model exhibits higher sensitivity to IDH-mutant cases and more accurately identifies low-risk groups compared to medium-or high-risk groups.This study aims to achieve accurate IDH genotyping and glioma prognosis through effective classification method,offering valuable diagnostic insights for clinical practice and expediting treatment decisions.展开更多
The construction of a borehole correction library for the multi-component array induction tool in deviated boreholes involves extensive 3D forward modeling and typically requires significant computational resources.To...The construction of a borehole correction library for the multi-component array induction tool in deviated boreholes involves extensive 3D forward modeling and typically requires significant computational resources.To address this challenge,this paper proposes an efficient algorithm for the library construction based on the 3D finite volume method(FVM)and contraction high-order Born approximation(CHBA).First,the electromagnetic(EM)field solution region is divided into two symmetric subregions based on the symmetry of the correction library model and the EM field.Numerical solution on a single subregion,combined with the symmetry boundary extension technique,enhances the efficiency of the 3D numerical simulation.Second,three reference mud conductivities are selected based on the mud conductivity range,and the CHBA is applied to calculate the EM responses at all mud conductivity nodes rapidly.Third,the number of forward simulation operations is further reduced by exploiting the principle that models with different frequencies and different formation conductivities have equivalent EM responses.Numerical experiments demonstrate the correctness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.Compared to conventional 3D modeling,the proposed algorithm achieves approximately a 20-fold speedup in library construction,effectively reducing computational resources and time consumption.展开更多

This meta-analysis was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of early airway administration (within 2 days after birth) of corticosteroids and pulmonary surfactant (PS) for preventing bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) in premature infants with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS). The related studies were retrieved in PubMed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, Clinical Trial, CNKI, Wanfang and VIP Database from inception to August 2018. Two reviewers independently screened the studies to ensure that all patients with diagnosis of NRDS were enrolled to studies within 1 day after birth, assessed the quality of included studies by GRADEpro system and extracted the data for review. The meta-analysis was performed by RevMan 5.2 software. A subgroup analysis about inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) delivery method was made between ICS inhalation subgroup [inhalation of ICS by nebulizer or metered dose inhaler (MDI)] and ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup (PS used as a vehicle). Eight randomized controlled trials were enrolled in the meta-analysis, 5 trials of which stated the randomized method, grouping and blinded method, and the follow-up procedures were reported. GRADEpro system showed high quality of 4 trials (5 articles), and the rest 4 trials had moderate quality. Meta-analysis showed that the incidence of BPD was decreased in ICS group, the relative risk (RR) was 0.56 (95% CI: 0.42-0.76), and similar trends were found in ICS inhalation subgroup and ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup, with the corresponding RR being 0.58 (95% CI: 0.41-0.82) and 0.47 (95% CI: 0.24-0.95) respectively. ICS could also significantly reduce the mortality risk as compared with placebo control group (RR: 0.67;95% CI: 0.45-0.99), with RR of ICS inhalation subgroup and ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup being 0.81 (95% CI: 0.34-1.94) and 0.64 (95% CI: 0.41-0.99) respectively. Moreover, the percentage of infants using PS more than one time was lower in ICS group than in the placebo control group, with the RR and 95% CI being 0.55 (95% CI: 0.45-0.67), and that in ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup lower than in ICS inhalation subgroup (RR: 0.56;95% CI: 0.45-0.69, and RR: 0.35;95% CI:0.08-1.52 respectively). There was no significant difference in the incidence of infection or retinopathy of prematurity and neuro-motor system impairment between ICS group and placebo control group, with the corresponding RR being 0.95 (95% CI:0.59-1.52), 0.92 (95% CI: 0.62-1.38) and 1.13 (95% CI: 0.92-1.39), respectively. It was concluded that early administration of ICS and PS is an effective and safe option for preterm infants with NRDS in preventing BPD and reducing mortality, decreasing the additional PS usage, especially for the ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup. Furthermore, the appropriate dose and duration of ICS, combined use of inhalation or instillation of ICS with PS and the long-term safety of airway administration of corticosteroids need to be assessed in large trials.展开更多
Soil microbial communities play an essential role in maintaining soil fertility and are considered as ecological indicators to evaluate soil health.In the present study,we examined the influence of almost 4 years of f...Soil microbial communities play an essential role in maintaining soil fertility and are considered as ecological indicators to evaluate soil health.In the present study,we examined the influence of almost 4 years of fertilization[no fertilizer(CK),nitrogen alone(N),nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium chemical fertilizer(NPK),organicmanure(M),nitrogen plus organic manure(NM),and NPK plus organic manure(NPKM)]on soil fertility and the functional diversity of soil microbial communities in an apple orchard.Compared to CK,fertilization increased soil organic carbon,total nitrogen,and available nutrients,but reduced soil pH in N and NPK treatments.The highest microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen,most probable number of actinomycetes,bacteria,and fungi occurred in the NPKM treatment.The average well color development(AWCD)values followed the order of NPKM>M>NPK and NM>CK and N.The Shannon index in organic manure treatments were significantly higher than in control and in treatments without organic manure.The principal component analysis showed that manure treatment was significantly separated from other treatments.These results indicated that organic manure applied alone or in combination with chemical fertilizers would increase soil fertility and functional diversity of soil microbial communities.Moreover,applying balanced N,P,K fertilizer in combination with organic manure was found to be superior to the use of a single fertilizer in improving soil microbial community quality.展开更多

We aimed to investigate the diagnostic capabilities of susceptibility-weighted imaging in detecting prostate cancer and prostatic calcifications. A total number of 156 men, including 34 with prostate cancer and 122 with benign prostate were enrolled in this study. Computed tomography, conventional magnetic resonance imaging, diffusion-weighted imaging, and susceptibility-weighted imaging were performed on all the patients. One hundred and twelve prostatic calcifications were detected in 87 patients. The sensitivities and specificities of the conventional magnetic resonance imaging, apparent diffusion coefficient, and susceptibility-filtered phase images in detecting prostate cancer and prostatic calcifications were calculated. McNemar's Chi-square test was used to compare the differences in sensitivities and specificities between the techniques. The results showed that the sensitivity and specificity of susceptibility-filtered phase images in detecting prostatic cancer were greater than that of conventional magnetic resonance imaging and apparent diffusion coefficient (P 〈 0.05). In addition, the sensitivity and specificity of susceptibility-filtered phase images in detecting prostatic calcifications were comparable to that of computed tomography and greater than that of conventional magnetic resonance imaging and apparent diffusion coefficient (P 〈 0.05). Given the high incidence of susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWl) abnormality in prostate cancer, we conclude that susceptibility-weighted imaging is more sensitive and specific than conventional magnetic resonance imaging, diffusion-weighted imaging, and computed tomography in detecting prostate cancer. Furthermore, susceptibility-weighted imaging can identify prostatic calcifications similar to computed tomography, and it is much better than conventional magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion-weighted imaging.展开更多
Since December 2019,COVID-19 has occurred unexpectedly and emerged as a health problem worldw ide.Despite the rapidly increasing number of cases in subsequent weeks,the clinical characteristics of pediatric cases are ...Since December 2019,COVID-19 has occurred unexpectedly and emerged as a health problem worldw ide.Despite the rapidly increasing number of cases in subsequent weeks,the clinical characteristics of pediatric cases are rarely described.A cross-sectional multicenter study was carried out in 10 hospitals across Hubei province.A total of 25 confirmed pediatric cases of COVID-19 were collected.The demographic data,epidemiological history,underlying discascs,clinical mani festations,laboratory and radiological data,treatments,and outcomes were analyzcd.Of 25 hospitalized patients with COVID-19,the boy to girl ratio was 1.27:1.The median age was 3 years.COVID-19 cases in children aged<3 years,3-6 years,and≥6-years patients were 10(40%),6(24%),and 9(36%),respectively.The most common symptoms at onset of ilness were fever(13[52%]),and dry cough(11[44%]).Chest CT images showed essential normal in 8 cases(33.3%),unilateral involvement of lungs in 5 cases(20.8%),and bilateral involvement in 11 cases(45.8%).Clinical diagnoses included upper respiratory tract infection(n=8),mild pneumonia(n=15),and critical cases(n=2).Two critical cases(8%)were given invasive mechanical ventilation,corticosteroids,and immunoglobulin.The symptoms in 24(96%)of 25 patients were alleviated and one patient had been discharged.It was concluded that children were susceptible to COVID-19 like adults,while the clinical presentations and outcomes were more favorable in children.However,children less than 3 years old accounted for majority cases and critical cases lied in this age group,which demanded extra attentions during home caring and hospitalization treatment.展开更多
Alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.) is one of the most extensively grown leguminous forage worldwide.Environmental saline-alkali stress significantly influences the growth,development,and yield of alfalfa,posing a threat to i...Alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.) is one of the most extensively grown leguminous forage worldwide.Environmental saline-alkali stress significantly influences the growth,development,and yield of alfalfa,posing a threat to its agricultural production.However,little is known about the potential mechanisms by which alfalfa responds to saline-alkali stress.Here,we investigated these mechanisms by cloning a saline-alkali-induced flavonol synthase gene(Ms FLS13) from alfalfa,which was previously reported to be significantly upregulated under saline-alkali stress,and examining its function in the saline-alkali response.Overexpression of Ms FLS13 in alfalfa promoted plant tolerance to saline-alkali stress by enhancing flavonol accumulation,antioxidant capacity,osmotic balance,and photosynthetic efficiency.Conversely,Ms FLS13 inhibition using RNA interference reduced flavonol synthase activity and inhibited hairy root growth under saline-alkali stress.Yeast one-hybrid and dual-luciferase reporter assays indicated that the R2R3-MYB Ms MYB12 transcription factor activates Ms FLS13 expression by binding to the MBS motif in the Ms FLS13 promoter.Further analysis revealed that abscisic acid mediates the salinealkali stress response partially by inducing Ms MYB12 and Ms FLS13 expression,which consequently increases flavonol levels and maintains antioxidant homeostasis in alfalfa.Collectively,our findings highlight the crucial role of Ms FLS13 in alfalfa in response to saline-alkali stress and provide a novel genetic resource for creating saline-alkali-resistant alfalfa through genetic engineering.展开更多

Atmospheric CO_(2)is one of key parameters to estimate air-sea CO_(2)flux.The Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2(OCO-2)satellite has observed the column-averaged dry-air mole fractions of global atmospheric carbon dioxide(...Atmospheric CO_(2)is one of key parameters to estimate air-sea CO_(2)flux.The Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2(OCO-2)satellite has observed the column-averaged dry-air mole fractions of global atmospheric carbon dioxide(XCO_(2))since 2014.In this study,the OCO-2 XCO_(2)products were compared between in-situ data from the Total Carbon Column Network(TCCON)and Global Monitoring Division(GMD),and modeling data from CarbonTracker2019 over global ocean and land.Results showed that the OCO-2 XCO_(2)data are consistent with the TCCON and GMD in situ XCO_(2)data,with mean absolute biases of 0.25×10^(-6)and 0.67×10^(-6),respectively.Moreover,the OCO-2 XCO_(2)data are also consistent with the CarbonTracker2019 modeling XCO_(2)data,with mean absolute biases of 0.78×10^(-6)over ocean and 1.02×10^(-6)over land.The results indicated the high accuracy of the OCO-2 XCO_(2)product over global ocean which could be applied to estimate the air-sea CO_(2)flux.展开更多
Potato protease inhibitors(PPIs),as the main component of potato protein isolate,have good safety,nutrition and great market potential.The antioxidant and anticancer properties of PPIs were evaluated with cellbased bi...Potato protease inhibitors(PPIs),as the main component of potato protein isolate,have good safety,nutrition and great market potential.The antioxidant and anticancer properties of PPIs were evaluated with cellbased biological assays.The results showed that when the concentration of PPIs was 5 mg/mL,the peroxyl radical scavenging value was(2119±204)mg VCE/100 g,and the cellular antioxidant activity values were(45.83±3.5)(no PBS wash)and(33.25±4.4)μmol QE/100 g(PBS wash).Cells pretreated with PPIs could significantly prevent the oxidative damage induced by H_(2)O_(2),inhibit the morphological changes of cells and maintain the integrity.Furthermore,PPIs had selective anti-proliferative effects on GIST882 cells(IC50=(10.53±3.87)mg/mL)and demonstrated potent inhibition of the growth,migration and invasion of cancer cells.These findings provide a scientific basis for PPIs as promising candidates for functional foods to aid in the prevention of oxidative damage and cancer.展开更多
A rotating packed bed is a typical chemical process enhancement equipment that can strengthen micromixing and mass transfer.During the operation of the rotating packed bed,the nonreactants and products irregularly adh...A rotating packed bed is a typical chemical process enhancement equipment that can strengthen micromixing and mass transfer.During the operation of the rotating packed bed,the nonreactants and products irregularly adhere to the wire mesh packing in the rotor,thus resulting in an imbalance in the vibration of the rotor,which may cause serious damage to the bearing and material leakage.This study proposes a model prediction for estimating the bearing residual life of a rotating packed bed based on rotor imbalance response analysis.This method is used to determine the influence of the mass on the imbalance in the vibration of the rotor on bearing damage.The major influence on rotor vibration was found to be exerted by the imbalanced mass and its distribution radius,as revealed by the results of orthogonal experiments.Through implementing finite element analysis,the imbalance response curve for the rotating packed bed rotor was obtained,and a correlation among rotor imbalance mass,distribution radius of imbalance mass,and bearing residue life was established via data fitting.The predicted value of the bearing life can be used as the reference basis for an early safety warning of a rotating packed bed to effectively avoid accidents.展开更多

Taking the advantage of sun glitter(SG)observed from high-resolution satellites Gaofen-1(GF-1)and Gaofen-6(GF-6),a new method named Shield and Vortex 1-2(SAV1-2)for extracting spatial texture information from sun glit...Taking the advantage of sun glitter(SG)observed from high-resolution satellites Gaofen-1(GF-1)and Gaofen-6(GF-6),a new method named Shield and Vortex 1-2(SAV1-2)for extracting spatial texture information from sun glitter was established.Sea surface texture detail information around Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands was extracted using SAV1-2.Meanwhile,the dynamic characteristics of the water environment were analyzed by combining the water color,temperature and dynamic data.The results show the following information.(1)Stable westward shield effect and eastward Karman vortex streets,extracted from SG,appear upstream(westward)and downstream(eastward)of the Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands respectively.(2)The dominant direction of the Kuroshio Current in the Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands area is east,the Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands interacting with Kuroshio,inducing western shield and eastern shelter and wake.Furthermore,wave intervals of the shield in front of the island range from hundreds to thousands of metres,and extend wider than the island itself.(3)Combining with high-resolution sea surface temperature(SST)and chlorophyll a(Chl a)concentration,the directional changes of water color elements are mutually supported and proved with the stable shield(wave packet)effect in the west and vortex street effect in the east.The change of SST upstream of the island(western shield area)is not significant,the temperature in the downstream shelter area decreases slightly,and the SST in the downstream wake area shows a general trend of obvious decrease.The wake area is dominated by Karman vortex streets in shape,supplementing by vortices.The concentration of Chl a in the west shield of island is as low as that in downstream shelter area,while it increases significantly in the downstream wake area with shape in eddy or ribbon.(4)The SAV methods of extracting sea surface texture detail using SG can be widely used in different sea areas and water quality.This paper can provide reference for the protection and development of Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands and its surrounding waters.It is suggested that some kind of current buffer,such as marine wind farm,should be established in the western waters of Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands to protect the islands,and marine pasture should be developed in the downstream of eastern waters of Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands.展开更多

Perceived health-related stigma(PHS)refers to the attachment of negative connotations to some types of disease diagnoses. PHS is common among patients with breast cancer and is associated with adverse emotions, attitudes and behaviors. This article summarizes the latest advances and new perspectives on PHS of breast cancer patients and approaches to block this deleterious process. Effects of PHS on patients with breast cancer, in this paper,and measures, predictors and interventions of PHS have been discussed in depth. Future studies should continue to develop more effective instruments that are specialized for measuring PHS of breast cancer patients, explore the predictors of PHS, and discuss effective interventions on the basis of the predictors.展开更多
文摘Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a common neurodegenerative disorder with increasing incidence and disability rates globally,placing a heavy burden on patients and their families.In the prodromal phase of PD,nonmotor symptoms,particularly depression and sleep disorders,are frequent,with profound effects on disease progression and patient quality of life.Emerging research highlights the critical role of inflammatory markers-including interleukins and tumor necrosis factor-in the pathogenesis of prodromal PD.These inflammatory mediators participate in neurodegenerative processes and may induce or exacerbate depressive symptoms and sleep disorders by disrupting the function of the hypothala-micpituitary-adrenal axis and affecting neurotransmitter,including serotonin,metabolism.Understanding their correlations with nonmotor symptoms in prodromal PD remains incomplete,limiting our ability to develop targeted interventions.This comprehensive review aims to investigate the specific correlations between inflammatory markers and nonmotor symptoms-particularly depression and sleep disorders-in prodromal PD.The findings could have important practical applications,potentially leading to the development of new diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies for managing PD.By identifying and understanding these correlations,healthcare providers may better predict disease progression and implement more effective treatments for nonmotor symptoms in PD.

文摘Steel slag(SS)accumulates unavoidably due to its complex and unstable composition,high production volumes,and limited value-added resource utilization.Single or multiple interface modifiers were proposed to enhance the properties of SS through high-speed dispersion,transforming its inherent hydrophilic and oleophobic characteristics into hydrophily and lipophilicity.The modification effects were innovatively assessed by observing the color changes of modified steel slag solutions following the dissolution-settlement equilibrium constant.This approach avoided human-induced errors and improved estimated accuracy in conformance with conventional methods such as oil absorption value,activation index,sedimentation volume,and lipophilicity.The hydrolysis of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(KH)generated–Si(OH)_(3)structure to form hydrogen or covalent bonds with active substances(OH groups)from SS.Concurrently,SS underwent encapsulation via Si–O–Si structure resulting from the dehydration of–Si(OH)_(3).The stearic acid coupling agent(SA),aluminate coupling agent(AC),and titanate coupling agent(TN)underwent chemical reactions with Ca(OH)_(2),Al(OH)_(3),and CaCO_(3)in SS.The acidic SA primarily created stable chemical bonds and acted as a supplement due to its package,reducing surface activity and hydrophilicity while enhancing lipophilicity.Specifically,the optimal modification effect was obtained at 3 wt.%SA.Consequently,3 wt.%SA was established as the benchmark for multiple modifiers and the most effective combination was 3 wt.%SA and 3 wt.%AC.Compared with a single interface modifier,SA corroded the SS surface to provide numerous active sites for further modification by KH,AC,or TN,resulting in a more densely packed structure.In addition,more organic groups on SS prevent the proximity of other particles from agglomerating to achieve dispersion and a synergistic modification,laying a theoretical foundation of SS in a new pathway for organic composite materials.

文摘Air-sea water vapor and CO_(2) flux observation experiments were carried out at the Yantai National Satellite Ocean Calibration Platform and the jetty at Monolithic Beach,Juehua Island,using a 100 Hz gas analyzer.The observations were corrected by employing wild point rejection,linear detrending,delay correction,coordinate rotation,time matching,and Webb,Pearman,and Leuning(WPL)correction.The results of spectral analysis and a turbulence development adequacy data quality check showed that the overall observation data quality was good.The air-sea water vapor and CO_(2) flux results showed that the observation duration affected both the air-sea flux intensity and direction at different observation frequencies.At shorter observation durations,the air-sea flux values measured at 100 Hz were smaller than the 20 Hz measurements and had opposite directions.In addition,the WPL correction reduced the overall air-sea flux and partially minimized the effect of observation frequency on the air-sea flux intensity.These results showed that high-frequency observations showed more turbulence variations than low-frequency observations.This conclusion could promote an understanding of small-scale turbulence variations.

文摘Accurate genotyping and prognosis of glioma patients present significant clinical challenges,often dependent on subjective judgement and insufficient scientific evidence.This study aims to develop a robust,noninvasive preoperative multi-modal MRIbased transformer learning model to predict IDH genotyping and glioma prognosis.This multi-centre study included 563 glioma patients to develop an interpretable classification model utilising various preoperative imaging sequences,including T1-weighted,T2-weighted,fluid-attenuated inversion recovery,contrast-enhanced T1-weighted,and diffusion-weighted imaging.The model employs a multi-task learning framework to extract and fuse radiomic,deep learning,and clinical features for IDH genotyping and glioma prognosis.Additionally,a multi-modal transformer strategy is integrated to analyse structural and functional MRI,thereby enhancing model performance.Experimental results indicate that the model demonstrates superior performance,surpassing previous research and other state-of-the-art methods.The model achieves an AUC of 91.40% in the IDH genotyping task and 93.37% in the glioma prognosis task.Group analysis reveals that the model exhibits higher sensitivity to IDH-mutant cases and more accurately identifies low-risk groups compared to medium-or high-risk groups.This study aims to achieve accurate IDH genotyping and glioma prognosis through effective classification method,offering valuable diagnostic insights for clinical practice and expediting treatment decisions.

文摘The construction of a borehole correction library for the multi-component array induction tool in deviated boreholes involves extensive 3D forward modeling and typically requires significant computational resources.To address this challenge,this paper proposes an efficient algorithm for the library construction based on the 3D finite volume method(FVM)and contraction high-order Born approximation(CHBA).First,the electromagnetic(EM)field solution region is divided into two symmetric subregions based on the symmetry of the correction library model and the EM field.Numerical solution on a single subregion,combined with the symmetry boundary extension technique,enhances the efficiency of the 3D numerical simulation.Second,three reference mud conductivities are selected based on the mud conductivity range,and the CHBA is applied to calculate the EM responses at all mud conductivity nodes rapidly.Third,the number of forward simulation operations is further reduced by exploiting the principle that models with different frequencies and different formation conductivities have equivalent EM responses.Numerical experiments demonstrate the correctness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.Compared to conventional 3D modeling,the proposed algorithm achieves approximately a 20-fold speedup in library construction,effectively reducing computational resources and time consumption.
文摘There is uncertain result with regard to the use of inhalation or instillation steroids to prevent bronchopulmonary dysplasia in preterm infants. This meta-analysis was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of early airway administration (within 2 days after birth) of corticosteroids and pulmonary surfactant (PS) for preventing bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) in premature infants with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS). The related studies were retrieved in PubMed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, Clinical Trial, CNKI, Wanfang and VIP Database from inception to August 2018. Two reviewers independently screened the studies to ensure that all patients with diagnosis of NRDS were enrolled to studies within 1 day after birth, assessed the quality of included studies by GRADEpro system and extracted the data for review. The meta-analysis was performed by RevMan 5.2 software. A subgroup analysis about inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) delivery method was made between ICS inhalation subgroup [inhalation of ICS by nebulizer or metered dose inhaler (MDI)] and ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup (PS used as a vehicle). Eight randomized controlled trials were enrolled in the meta-analysis, 5 trials of which stated the randomized method, grouping and blinded method, and the follow-up procedures were reported. GRADEpro system showed high quality of 4 trials (5 articles), and the rest 4 trials had moderate quality. Meta-analysis showed that the incidence of BPD was decreased in ICS group, the relative risk (RR) was 0.56 (95% CI: 0.42-0.76), and similar trends were found in ICS inhalation subgroup and ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup, with the corresponding RR being 0.58 (95% CI: 0.41-0.82) and 0.47 (95% CI: 0.24-0.95) respectively. ICS could also significantly reduce the mortality risk as compared with placebo control group (RR: 0.67;95% CI: 0.45-0.99), with RR of ICS inhalation subgroup and ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup being 0.81 (95% CI: 0.34-1.94) and 0.64 (95% CI: 0.41-0.99) respectively. Moreover, the percentage of infants using PS more than one time was lower in ICS group than in the placebo control group, with the RR and 95% CI being 0.55 (95% CI: 0.45-0.67), and that in ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup lower than in ICS inhalation subgroup (RR: 0.56;95% CI: 0.45-0.69, and RR: 0.35;95% CI:0.08-1.52 respectively). There was no significant difference in the incidence of infection or retinopathy of prematurity and neuro-motor system impairment between ICS group and placebo control group, with the corresponding RR being 0.95 (95% CI:0.59-1.52), 0.92 (95% CI: 0.62-1.38) and 1.13 (95% CI: 0.92-1.39), respectively. It was concluded that early administration of ICS and PS is an effective and safe option for preterm infants with NRDS in preventing BPD and reducing mortality, decreasing the additional PS usage, especially for the ICS intratracheal instillation subgroup. Furthermore, the appropriate dose and duration of ICS, combined use of inhalation or instillation of ICS with PS and the long-term safety of airway administration of corticosteroids need to be assessed in large trials.

文摘Soil microbial communities play an essential role in maintaining soil fertility and are considered as ecological indicators to evaluate soil health.In the present study,we examined the influence of almost 4 years of fertilization[no fertilizer(CK),nitrogen alone(N),nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium chemical fertilizer(NPK),organicmanure(M),nitrogen plus organic manure(NM),and NPK plus organic manure(NPKM)]on soil fertility and the functional diversity of soil microbial communities in an apple orchard.Compared to CK,fertilization increased soil organic carbon,total nitrogen,and available nutrients,but reduced soil pH in N and NPK treatments.The highest microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen,most probable number of actinomycetes,bacteria,and fungi occurred in the NPKM treatment.The average well color development(AWCD)values followed the order of NPKM>M>NPK and NM>CK and N.The Shannon index in organic manure treatments were significantly higher than in control and in treatments without organic manure.The principal component analysis showed that manure treatment was significantly separated from other treatments.These results indicated that organic manure applied alone or in combination with chemical fertilizers would increase soil fertility and functional diversity of soil microbial communities.Moreover,applying balanced N,P,K fertilizer in combination with organic manure was found to be superior to the use of a single fertilizer in improving soil microbial community quality.
文摘Prostate cancer and prostatic calcifications have a high incidence in elderly men. We aimed to investigate the diagnostic capabilities of susceptibility-weighted imaging in detecting prostate cancer and prostatic calcifications. A total number of 156 men, including 34 with prostate cancer and 122 with benign prostate were enrolled in this study. Computed tomography, conventional magnetic resonance imaging, diffusion-weighted imaging, and susceptibility-weighted imaging were performed on all the patients. One hundred and twelve prostatic calcifications were detected in 87 patients. The sensitivities and specificities of the conventional magnetic resonance imaging, apparent diffusion coefficient, and susceptibility-filtered phase images in detecting prostate cancer and prostatic calcifications were calculated. McNemar's Chi-square test was used to compare the differences in sensitivities and specificities between the techniques. The results showed that the sensitivity and specificity of susceptibility-filtered phase images in detecting prostatic cancer were greater than that of conventional magnetic resonance imaging and apparent diffusion coefficient (P 〈 0.05). In addition, the sensitivity and specificity of susceptibility-filtered phase images in detecting prostatic calcifications were comparable to that of computed tomography and greater than that of conventional magnetic resonance imaging and apparent diffusion coefficient (P 〈 0.05). Given the high incidence of susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWl) abnormality in prostate cancer, we conclude that susceptibility-weighted imaging is more sensitive and specific than conventional magnetic resonance imaging, diffusion-weighted imaging, and computed tomography in detecting prostate cancer. Furthermore, susceptibility-weighted imaging can identify prostatic calcifications similar to computed tomography, and it is much better than conventional magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion-weighted imaging.
文摘Since December 2019,COVID-19 has occurred unexpectedly and emerged as a health problem worldw ide.Despite the rapidly increasing number of cases in subsequent weeks,the clinical characteristics of pediatric cases are rarely described.A cross-sectional multicenter study was carried out in 10 hospitals across Hubei province.A total of 25 confirmed pediatric cases of COVID-19 were collected.The demographic data,epidemiological history,underlying discascs,clinical mani festations,laboratory and radiological data,treatments,and outcomes were analyzcd.Of 25 hospitalized patients with COVID-19,the boy to girl ratio was 1.27:1.The median age was 3 years.COVID-19 cases in children aged<3 years,3-6 years,and≥6-years patients were 10(40%),6(24%),and 9(36%),respectively.The most common symptoms at onset of ilness were fever(13[52%]),and dry cough(11[44%]).Chest CT images showed essential normal in 8 cases(33.3%),unilateral involvement of lungs in 5 cases(20.8%),and bilateral involvement in 11 cases(45.8%).Clinical diagnoses included upper respiratory tract infection(n=8),mild pneumonia(n=15),and critical cases(n=2).Two critical cases(8%)were given invasive mechanical ventilation,corticosteroids,and immunoglobulin.The symptoms in 24(96%)of 25 patients were alleviated and one patient had been discharged.It was concluded that children were susceptible to COVID-19 like adults,while the clinical presentations and outcomes were more favorable in children.However,children less than 3 years old accounted for majority cases and critical cases lied in this age group,which demanded extra attentions during home caring and hospitalization treatment.

文摘Alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.) is one of the most extensively grown leguminous forage worldwide.Environmental saline-alkali stress significantly influences the growth,development,and yield of alfalfa,posing a threat to its agricultural production.However,little is known about the potential mechanisms by which alfalfa responds to saline-alkali stress.Here,we investigated these mechanisms by cloning a saline-alkali-induced flavonol synthase gene(Ms FLS13) from alfalfa,which was previously reported to be significantly upregulated under saline-alkali stress,and examining its function in the saline-alkali response.Overexpression of Ms FLS13 in alfalfa promoted plant tolerance to saline-alkali stress by enhancing flavonol accumulation,antioxidant capacity,osmotic balance,and photosynthetic efficiency.Conversely,Ms FLS13 inhibition using RNA interference reduced flavonol synthase activity and inhibited hairy root growth under saline-alkali stress.Yeast one-hybrid and dual-luciferase reporter assays indicated that the R2R3-MYB Ms MYB12 transcription factor activates Ms FLS13 expression by binding to the MBS motif in the Ms FLS13 promoter.Further analysis revealed that abscisic acid mediates the salinealkali stress response partially by inducing Ms MYB12 and Ms FLS13 expression,which consequently increases flavonol levels and maintains antioxidant homeostasis in alfalfa.Collectively,our findings highlight the crucial role of Ms FLS13 in alfalfa in response to saline-alkali stress and provide a novel genetic resource for creating saline-alkali-resistant alfalfa through genetic engineering.

文摘Methods for transforming rare earth(RE)sulfate into chloride mainly include extraction process with organophosphonic mono-acids or aliphatic acids and precipitation process with ammonium bicarbonate(NH4 HCO3).In this paper,alkylphenoxy carboxylic acids(HAs)ofp-dodecylphenoxy acetic acid(HA-Ⅰ),pdodecylphenoxypropanoic acid(HA-Ⅱ)and p-dodecylphenoxybutyric acid(HA-Ⅲ),which were liquid at room temperature were synthesized and characterized.The precipitation mechanisms of RE elements with the HAs were investigated and the HA/RE molar ratios of the solid complexes were determined as3:1 by equi-molar series method which accord with the principle of charge balance.Applicability of HAs for the transformation of RE sulfate from concentrated sulfuric acid roasted RE concentrate into chloride via precipitation method was discussed.100%HA-Ⅱwas selected as the liquid organic precipitant without dilution of volatile solvent soracceleration of phase separation by phase-modifiers.The RE sulfate solution can be precipitated by HA-Ⅱafter neutralization with liquid NaOH and stripped with concentrated HCl at room temperature.High concentration of RE chloride of 218.1 g/L with low residue of sulfate radical of 0.536 g/L was obtained.The residual organic precipitant in the raffinate solution was tested to be lower than 8 mg/L at 25℃and the chemical oxygen demand(COD)in wastewater was less than 50 mg/L.

文摘Atmospheric CO_(2)is one of key parameters to estimate air-sea CO_(2)flux.The Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2(OCO-2)satellite has observed the column-averaged dry-air mole fractions of global atmospheric carbon dioxide(XCO_(2))since 2014.In this study,the OCO-2 XCO_(2)products were compared between in-situ data from the Total Carbon Column Network(TCCON)and Global Monitoring Division(GMD),and modeling data from CarbonTracker2019 over global ocean and land.Results showed that the OCO-2 XCO_(2)data are consistent with the TCCON and GMD in situ XCO_(2)data,with mean absolute biases of 0.25×10^(-6)and 0.67×10^(-6),respectively.Moreover,the OCO-2 XCO_(2)data are also consistent with the CarbonTracker2019 modeling XCO_(2)data,with mean absolute biases of 0.78×10^(-6)over ocean and 1.02×10^(-6)over land.The results indicated the high accuracy of the OCO-2 XCO_(2)product over global ocean which could be applied to estimate the air-sea CO_(2)flux.

文摘Potato protease inhibitors(PPIs),as the main component of potato protein isolate,have good safety,nutrition and great market potential.The antioxidant and anticancer properties of PPIs were evaluated with cellbased biological assays.The results showed that when the concentration of PPIs was 5 mg/mL,the peroxyl radical scavenging value was(2119±204)mg VCE/100 g,and the cellular antioxidant activity values were(45.83±3.5)(no PBS wash)and(33.25±4.4)μmol QE/100 g(PBS wash).Cells pretreated with PPIs could significantly prevent the oxidative damage induced by H_(2)O_(2),inhibit the morphological changes of cells and maintain the integrity.Furthermore,PPIs had selective anti-proliferative effects on GIST882 cells(IC50=(10.53±3.87)mg/mL)and demonstrated potent inhibition of the growth,migration and invasion of cancer cells.These findings provide a scientific basis for PPIs as promising candidates for functional foods to aid in the prevention of oxidative damage and cancer.

文摘A rotating packed bed is a typical chemical process enhancement equipment that can strengthen micromixing and mass transfer.During the operation of the rotating packed bed,the nonreactants and products irregularly adhere to the wire mesh packing in the rotor,thus resulting in an imbalance in the vibration of the rotor,which may cause serious damage to the bearing and material leakage.This study proposes a model prediction for estimating the bearing residual life of a rotating packed bed based on rotor imbalance response analysis.This method is used to determine the influence of the mass on the imbalance in the vibration of the rotor on bearing damage.The major influence on rotor vibration was found to be exerted by the imbalanced mass and its distribution radius,as revealed by the results of orthogonal experiments.Through implementing finite element analysis,the imbalance response curve for the rotating packed bed rotor was obtained,and a correlation among rotor imbalance mass,distribution radius of imbalance mass,and bearing residue life was established via data fitting.The predicted value of the bearing life can be used as the reference basis for an early safety warning of a rotating packed bed to effectively avoid accidents.

文摘The series of heterodinuclear metal oxide carbonyls in the form of TaNiO(CO)_(n)(n=5-8) are generated in the pulsed-laser vaporization source and characterized by mass-selected photoelectron velocity-map spectroscopy.During the consecutive CO adsorption,the μ^(2)-O-bent structure initially is the most favorable for TaNiO(CO)_(5),and subsequently both μ^(2)-O-bent and μ^(2)-O-linear structures are degenerate for TaNiO(CO)_(6),then the μ^(2)-O-linear structure is most preferential for TaNiO(CO)_(7),and finally the η^(2)-CO_(2)-tagged structure is the most ene rgetically competitive one for TaNiO(CO)_(8),i.e., the CO oxidation occurs at n=8.ln contrast to the literature reported CO oxidation on heteronuclear metal oxide complexes generally proceeding via Langmuir-Hinshelwood-like mechanism,complementary theo retical calculations suggest that both Langmuir-Hinshelwood-like and Eley-Rideal-like mechanisms prevail for the CO oxidation reaction on TaNiO(CO)_(8) complex.Our findings provide new insight into the composition-selective mechanism of CO oxidation on heteronuclear metal complexes,of which the composition be tailored to fulfill the desired chemical behaviors.

文摘The potential energy landscape of the neutral Ni_(2)(CO)_(5) complex was re-examined.A new C_(2v) structure with double bridging carbonyls is found to compete with the previously proposed triply carbonyl-bridged D_(3h) isomer for the global minimum of Ni_(2)(CO)_(5).Despite that the tri-bridged isomer possesses the more favored(18,18)configuration,where both metal centers satisfy the 18-electron rule,the neutral Ni_(2)(CO)_(5) complex prefers the di-bridged geometry with(18,16)configuration.The isomerization energy decomposition analysis reveals that the structural preference is a consequence of the maximization of electrostatic and orbital interactions.

文摘Taking the advantage of sun glitter(SG)observed from high-resolution satellites Gaofen-1(GF-1)and Gaofen-6(GF-6),a new method named Shield and Vortex 1-2(SAV1-2)for extracting spatial texture information from sun glitter was established.Sea surface texture detail information around Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands was extracted using SAV1-2.Meanwhile,the dynamic characteristics of the water environment were analyzed by combining the water color,temperature and dynamic data.The results show the following information.(1)Stable westward shield effect and eastward Karman vortex streets,extracted from SG,appear upstream(westward)and downstream(eastward)of the Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands respectively.(2)The dominant direction of the Kuroshio Current in the Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands area is east,the Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands interacting with Kuroshio,inducing western shield and eastern shelter and wake.Furthermore,wave intervals of the shield in front of the island range from hundreds to thousands of metres,and extend wider than the island itself.(3)Combining with high-resolution sea surface temperature(SST)and chlorophyll a(Chl a)concentration,the directional changes of water color elements are mutually supported and proved with the stable shield(wave packet)effect in the west and vortex street effect in the east.The change of SST upstream of the island(western shield area)is not significant,the temperature in the downstream shelter area decreases slightly,and the SST in the downstream wake area shows a general trend of obvious decrease.The wake area is dominated by Karman vortex streets in shape,supplementing by vortices.The concentration of Chl a in the west shield of island is as low as that in downstream shelter area,while it increases significantly in the downstream wake area with shape in eddy or ribbon.(4)The SAV methods of extracting sea surface texture detail using SG can be widely used in different sea areas and water quality.This paper can provide reference for the protection and development of Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands and its surrounding waters.It is suggested that some kind of current buffer,such as marine wind farm,should be established in the western waters of Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands to protect the islands,and marine pasture should be developed in the downstream of eastern waters of Diaoyu Dao and its affiliated islands.
文摘Breast cancer survivors face many challenges(particularly changes in body image) on their road to restoring physical and psychosocial health following diagnosis. Perceived health-related stigma(PHS)refers to the attachment of negative connotations to some types of disease diagnoses. PHS is common among patients with breast cancer and is associated with adverse emotions, attitudes and behaviors. This article summarizes the latest advances and new perspectives on PHS of breast cancer patients and approaches to block this deleterious process. Effects of PHS on patients with breast cancer, in this paper,and measures, predictors and interventions of PHS have been discussed in depth. Future studies should continue to develop more effective instruments that are specialized for measuring PHS of breast cancer patients, explore the predictors of PHS, and discuss effective interventions on the basis of the predictors.
