The Ongniud Geopark in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has rich geoheritage resources,such as granite landform,river landform,sand-accumulated landform,structural feature,and waterscape.On the basis of detailed resea...The Ongniud Geopark in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has rich geoheritage resources,such as granite landform,river landform,sand-accumulated landform,structural feature,and waterscape.On the basis of detailed researches,the geoheritage resources are divided into four categories,i.e.fossil heritage,structural geoheritage,geomorphological heritage,and waterscape.The monomers or types of geoheritage resources are taken as the objects of evaluation.The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)method is used to evaluate the geoheritage resources.The results showed that the Ongniud Geopark includes 1 world-class geosite,3 national geosites and 7 provincial geosites.The results deduced by the authors can help understand the geoheritage resources in the Ongniud Geopark,and also provide a basis for the protection,development and utilization of geoheritage as well as the planning and management of the geopark.展开更多
