Methods: using the resources of HowNet, Wanfang and VIP, we searched and consulted a large number of literature materials to understand the clinical situation of different TCM external treatment methods for perianal pruritus. Results: the research results show that the external treatment of TCM has obvious therapeutic effect on perianal pruritus. Conclusion: the external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine is effective in treating perianal pruritus and should be widely applied in clinic.展开更多
