The microwave absorbents of Fe and C nanoparticles as magnetic loss and dielectric loss material respectively were composited with the polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as binder by spray granulation method,The electromagnetic pa...The microwave absorbents of Fe and C nanoparticles as magnetic loss and dielectric loss material respectively were composited with the polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as binder by spray granulation method,The electromagnetic parameters of Fe and C composite particles were analyzed by vector network.The complex permittivity and magnetic permeability of Fe and C composite particles matched well with increasing C nanoparticle content,and then the microwave loss property was improved.A minimum reflection loss(RL)of-42.7 dB at 3.68 GHz for a composite with 4.6 mm in thickness can be obtained when the content ratio of the C nanoparticles,the modified Fe nanoparticles and the PVA is 21:49:30(Sample 3).展开更多
The Lobster Eye Imager for Astronomy(LEIA),a pathfinder of the Wide-field X-ray Telescope of the Einstein Probe mission,was successfully launched onboard the SATech-01 satellite of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on20...The Lobster Eye Imager for Astronomy(LEIA),a pathfinder of the Wide-field X-ray Telescope of the Einstein Probe mission,was successfully launched onboard the SATech-01 satellite of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on2022 July 27.In this paper,we introduce the design and on-ground test results of the LEIA instrument.Using stateof-the-art Micro-Pore Optics(MPO),a wide field of view of 346 square degrees(18.6°×18.6°)of the X-ray imager is realized.An optical assembly composed of 36 MPO chips is used to focus incident X-ray photons,and four large-format complementary metal-oxide semiconductor(CMOS)sensors,each of size 6 cm×6 cm,are used as the focal plane detectors.The instrument has an angular resolution of 4’-8’(in terms of FWHM)for the central focal spot of the point-spread function,and an effective area of 2-3 cm^(2) at 1 keV in essentially all the directions within the field of view.The detection passband is 0.5-4 keV in soft X-rays and the sensitivity is2-3×10^(-11) erg s^(-1) cm^(-2)(about 1 milliCrab)with a 1000 s observation.The total weight of LEIA is 56 kg and the power is 85 W.The satellite,with a design lifetime of 2 yr,operates in a Sun-synchronous orbit of 500 km with an orbital period of 95 minutes.LEIA is paving the way for future missions by verifying in flight the technologies of both novel focusing imaging optics and CMOS sensors for X-ray observation,and by optimizing the working setups of the instrumental parameters.In addition,LEIA is able to carry out scientific observations to find new transients and to monitor known sources in the soft X-ray band,albeit with limited useful observing time available.展开更多

The experi...The Fe/Mo multilayers were prepared by electron beam evaporation, the micro structure and magnetic properties of the multilayers were studied by X-ray diffraction, vibrating-sample magnetometer (VSM) et al. The experimental results revealed that the Fe/Mo multilayers in our experimental conditions behaved magnetoresistance effect with a sharp peak on magnetoresistance (MR) ratio curve, and magnetoresistance is easily saturated at low applied magnetic fields. For [Fe(1.5nm)/Mo(1.0nm)]4,2 multilayers, MR ratio could arrive to 0.1%. The antiferromagnetic interlayer coupling could be observed in some films at room temperature. The strength of the antiferromagnetic interlayer coupling J in the films is low because of the low saturation field Hs. The relationship between magnetic properties and micro structure was also discussed in this paper.展开更多

Based on a sample of 2.7x 10^(9)ψ(3686)events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEP-CII collider,the decay 4(3686)→YX_(cJ),X_(cJ)→ηηη’is analyzed.The decay modes X_(c1)and X_(c2)→ηηη’are ob...Based on a sample of 2.7x 10^(9)ψ(3686)events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEP-CII collider,the decay 4(3686)→YX_(cJ),X_(cJ)→ηηη’is analyzed.The decay modes X_(c1)and X_(c2)→ηηη’are observed for the first time,and their corresponding branching fractions are determined to be B(X_(c1)→ηηη’)=(1.40±0.13(stat.)±0.09(sys.))×10^(-4)and B(X_(c2)→ηηη’)=(4.18±0.84(stat.)±0.48(sys.))×10^(-5).An upper limit on the branching fraction of x_(co)→ηηη’is set as 2.59×10^(-5)at a 90%confidence level(CL).A partial wave analys-is(PWA)of the decay X_(c1)→ηηη’is performed to search for the 1^(-+)exotic stateη1(1855).The PWA result indic-ates that the structure in theηη’mass spectrum is attributed to f_(0)(1500),while in the m mass spectrum,it is attrib-uted to the 0^(++)phase space.The upper limit of B(x_(cl)→η1(1855)η)·B(η1(1855)→ηη')<9.79×10^(-5)is set based on the PWA at 90%CL.展开更多

There has recently been a dramatic renewal of interest in hadron spectroscopy and charm physics. This renaissance has been driven in part by the discovery of a plethora of charmonium-like XYZ states at BESⅢ and B fac...There has recently been a dramatic renewal of interest in hadron spectroscopy and charm physics. This renaissance has been driven in part by the discovery of a plethora of charmonium-like XYZ states at BESⅢ and B factories, and the observation of an intriguing proton-antiproton threshold enhancement and the possibly related X(1835) meson state at BESⅢ, as well as the threshold measurements of charm mesons and charm baryons. We present a detailed survey of the important topics in tau-charm physics and hadron physics that can be further explored at BESⅢ during the remaining operation period of BEPCⅡ. This survey will help in the optimization of the data-taking plan over the coming years, and provides physics motivation for the possible upgrade of BEPCⅡ to higher luminosity.展开更多

First evidence of a structure in the J/ψΛinvariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of■b^(-)J/ψΛK^(-)decays.The observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark w...First evidence of a structure in the J/ψΛinvariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of■b^(-)J/ψΛK^(-)decays.The observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark with strangeness with a significance of 3.1r including systematic uncertainties and lookelsewhere effect.Its mass and width are determined to be 4458:8±2:9t4:7-1:1 MeV and 17:3±6:5t8:0-5:7 MeV,respectively,where the quoted uncertainties are statistical and systematic.The structure is also consistent with being due to two resonances.In addition,the narrow excited■^(-)states,N■(1690)and■(1820),are seen for the first time in a■b^(-)decay,and their masses and widths are measured with improved precision.The analysis is performed using pp collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb^(-1),collected with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV.展开更多

Two peaking structures are seen with a local (global) significance of 4.3(2.8) and 4.1(2.4) standard deviations at masses of 6571 and 6694 MeV/c2, respectively. Upper limits are set on the Ξ+bc baryon production cross-section times the branching fraction relative to that of the B+c→J/ψD+s decay at centre-of-mass energies of 8 and 13 TeV, in the Ξ+bc and in the B+c rapidity and transverse-momentum ranges from 2.0 to 4.5 and 0 to 20GeV/c, respectively. A search for the rare decays W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D0γis performed using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV,corresponding to an integrated luminosity...A search for the rare decays W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D0γis performed using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0fb−1.No significant signal is observed for either decay mode and upper limits on their branching fractions are set using W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→μ+μ−decays as normalization channels.The upper limits are 6.5×10^(−4) and 2.1×10^(−3) at 95% confidence level for the W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D^(0)γ decay modes,respectively.This is the first reported search for the Z→D^(0)γ decay,while the upper limit on the W+→D+sγbranching fraction improves upon the previous best limit.展开更多

For the J/ψ sample taken in 2017-2019,the number of events was determined to be(8774.0±39.4)×10^(6).The total number of J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector was determined to be(10087±44)×10^(6),where the uncertainty is dominated by systematic effects,and the statistical uncertainty is negligible.展开更多
Purpose In order to make BEPC-II to run at a higher energy,the Institute of High Energy Physics undertook an upgrading project.One of the important factors limiting the energy boost is the power and performance of the...Purpose In order to make BEPC-II to run at a higher energy,the Institute of High Energy Physics undertook an upgrading project.One of the important factors limiting the energy boost is the power and performance of the dipole magnet power supplies;therefore,these four magnet power supplies are developed for the BEPC-II upgrading.Methods The power supplies adopt topologies of thyristor rectifiers to realize a high-power output.In the control unit of each power supply,a digital current closed loop is adopted,and the key components in the feedback loop are thermostatically controlled.In order to improve the performances of the power supplies,analog voltage regulators are added to the inner control loops.Results These four power supplies have been tested and have already been officially used in BEPC-II,and their powers have reached the requirements of the upgrading.The test results of the current stability are described and shown in this paper,which testifies that the stabilities meet the design parameters.Conclusions A digital control is applied to each SCR rectifier control.The performances of the power supplies are improved by the combination of digital current control loops and the analog voltage control loops,which makes the performances of the dipole magnet power supplies meet the requirements of the upgrading project.展开更多

文摘Using 20.3 fb^(-1)of e^(+)e^(-)annihilation data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESⅢdetector,we report on an improved search for the radiative leptonic decay D^(+)→γe^(+)ve.An upper limit on its partial branching fraction for photon energies E_(γ)>10 MeV was determined to be 1.2×10^(-5)at a 90%confidence level;this excludes most current theoretical predictions.A sophisticated deep learning approach,which includes thorough validation and is based on the Transformer architecture,was implemented to efficiently distinguish the signal from massive backgrounds.

文摘Based on a sample of 2.7x 10^(9)ψ(3686)events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEP-CII collider,the decay 4(3686)→YX_(cJ),X_(cJ)→ηηη’is analyzed.The decay modes X_(c1)and X_(c2)→ηηη’are observed for the first time,and their corresponding branching fractions are determined to be B(X_(c1)→ηηη’)=(1.40±0.13(stat.)±0.09(sys.))×10^(-4)and B(X_(c2)→ηηη’)=(4.18±0.84(stat.)±0.48(sys.))×10^(-5).An upper limit on the branching fraction of x_(co)→ηηη’is set as 2.59×10^(-5)at a 90%confidence level(CL).A partial wave analys-is(PWA)of the decay X_(c1)→ηηη’is performed to search for the 1^(-+)exotic stateη1(1855).The PWA result indic-ates that the structure in theηη’mass spectrum is attributed to f_(0)(1500),while in the m mass spectrum,it is attrib-uted to the 0^(++)phase space.The upper limit of B(x_(cl)→η1(1855)η)·B(η1(1855)→ηη')<9.79×10^(-5)is set based on the PWA at 90%CL.

文摘Lepton number violation decayω→π^(+)π^(+)e^(-)e^(-)+c.c.is searched for via J/ψ→ωηusing a data sample of(1.0087±0.0044)×10^(10)J/ψevents collected via the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider.No significant signal is observed,and the upper limit on the branching fraction ofω→π^(+)π^(+)e^(-)e^(-)+c.c.at the 90%confidence level is determined for the first time to be 2.8×10^(-6).

文摘Based on(10087±44)×10^(6) J/ψevents collected with the BESⅢdetector,we search for the lepton number violating decay J/ψ→K^(+)K^(+)e^(-)e^(-)+c.c.for the first time.The upper limit on the branching fraction of this decay is set to 2.1×10^(-9)at the 90%confidence level with a frequentist method.This is the first search for J/ψdecays with a lepton number change by two,offering valuable insights into the underlying physical processes.

文摘There has recently been a dramatic renewal of interest in hadron spectroscopy and charm physics. This renaissance has been driven in part by the discovery of a plethora of charmonium-like XYZ states at BESⅢ and B factories, and the observation of an intriguing proton-antiproton threshold enhancement and the possibly related X(1835) meson state at BESⅢ, as well as the threshold measurements of charm mesons and charm baryons. We present a detailed survey of the important topics in tau-charm physics and hadron physics that can be further explored at BESⅢ during the remaining operation period of BEPCⅡ. This survey will help in the optimization of the data-taking plan over the coming years, and provides physics motivation for the possible upgrade of BEPCⅡ to higher luminosity.

文摘Using a dedicated data sample taken in 2018 on the J/ψpeak,we perform a detailed study of the trigger efficiencies of the BESIII detector.The efficiencies are determined from three representative physics processes,namely Bhabha scattering,dimuon production and generic hadronic events with charged particles.The combined efficiency of all active triggers approaches 100%in most cases,with uncertainties small enough not to affect most physics analyses.
文摘First evidence of a structure in the J/ψΛinvariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of■b^(-)J/ψΛK^(-)decays.The observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark with strangeness with a significance of 3.1r including systematic uncertainties and lookelsewhere effect.Its mass and width are determined to be 4458:8±2:9t4:7-1:1 MeV and 17:3±6:5t8:0-5:7 MeV,respectively,where the quoted uncertainties are statistical and systematic.The structure is also consistent with being due to two resonances.In addition,the narrow excited■^(-)states,N■(1690)and■(1820),are seen for the first time in a■b^(-)decay,and their masses and widths are measured with improved precision.The analysis is performed using pp collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb^(-1),collected with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV.

文摘A search for the doubly charmed baryon ■^+cc is performed through its decay to theΛ^+c K^-π^+ final state,using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV.The data correspond to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb^-1.No significant signal is observed in the mass range from 3.4 to 3.8 GeV/c^2.Upper limits are set at 95%credibility level on the ratio of the ■^+cc production cross-section times the branching fraction to that ofΛ^+c and ■^++cc baryons.The limits are determined as functions of the ■^+cc mass for different lifetime hypotheses,in the rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and the transverse momentum range from 4 to 15 GeV/c.

文摘The production of ■baryons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of √s = 13 TeV is measured in the transverse-momentum range 4<pT<15GeV/c and the rapidity range2.0<y<4.5.The data used in this measurement correspond to an integrated luminosity of 1.7fb^-1,recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2016.The ratio of the ■ production cross-section times the branching fraction of the■→∧^+cK^-π^+ π^+decay relative to the prompt ∧^+c production cross-section is found to be(2.22±0.27±0.29)×10^-4,assuming the central value of the measured lifetime,where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.

文摘A first search for the Ξ_(bc)^(+)J/ψΞ_(c)^(+) decay is performed by the LHCb experiment with a data sample of proton-proton collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1 recorded at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. Two peaking structures are seen with a local (global) significance of 4.3(2.8) and 4.1(2.4) standard deviations at masses of 6571 and 6694 MeV/c2, respectively. Upper limits are set on the Ξ+bc baryon production cross-section times the branching fraction relative to that of the B+c→J/ψD+s decay at centre-of-mass energies of 8 and 13 TeV, in the Ξ+bc and in the B+c rapidity and transverse-momentum ranges from 2.0 to 4.5 and 0 to 20GeV/c, respectively. Upper limits are presented as a function of the Ξ+bc mass and lifetime.

文摘The first search for the doubly heavyΩ^(0)_(bc)baryon and a search for the E^(0)_(bc)baryon are performed using pp collision data collected via the LHCb experiment from 2016 to 2018 at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.2 fb^(-1).The baryons are reconstructed via their decays to Λ^(+)_(c)π^(-)and E^(+)_(c)π^(-).No significant excess is fbund for invariant masses between 6700 and 7300 MeV/c^(2),in a rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and a transverse momentum range from 2 to 20 MeV/c.Upper limits are set on the ratio of the Ω^(0)_(bc)and E^(0)_(bc)production cross-section times the branching fraction to Λ^(+)_(c)π^(-)(E^(+)_(c)π^(-))relative to that of the Λ^(0)_(b)(E^(0)_(b))baryon,for different lifetime hypotheses,at 95%confidence level.The upper limits range from 0.5 x 10^(-4)to 2.5 x 10^(-4)for theΩ^(0)_(bc)→Λ^(+)_(c)π^(-)(E^(0)_(bc)→Λ^(+)_(c)π^(-))decay,and from 1.4x 10^(-3)to 6.9 x 10^(-3)for theΩ^(0)_(bc)→E^(+)_(c)π^(-)(E^(0)_(bc)→E^(+)_(c)π^(-))decay,depending on the considered mass and lifetime of theΩ^(0)_(bc)(E^(0)_(bc))baryon.
文摘A search for the rare decays W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D0γis performed using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0fb−1.No significant signal is observed for either decay mode and upper limits on their branching fractions are set using W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→μ+μ−decays as normalization channels.The upper limits are 6.5×10^(−4) and 2.1×10^(−3) at 95% confidence level for the W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D^(0)γ decay modes,respectively.This is the first reported search for the Z→D^(0)γ decay,while the upper limit on the W+→D+sγbranching fraction improves upon the previous best limit.

文摘Using inclusive decays of J/ψ aprecise determination of the number of J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector was performed.For the two data sets taken in 2009 and 2012,the numbers of J/ψ events were recalculated to be(224.0±1.3)×10^(6) and(1088.5±4.4)×10^(6),respectively;these numbers are in good agreement with the previous measurements. For the J/ψ sample taken in 2017-2019,the number of events was determined to be(8774.0±39.4)×10^(6).The total number of J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector was determined to be(10087±44)×10^(6),where the uncertainty is dominated by systematic effects,and the statistical uncertainty is negligible.
文摘Purpose In order to make BEPC-II to run at a higher energy,the Institute of High Energy Physics undertook an upgrading project.One of the important factors limiting the energy boost is the power and performance of the dipole magnet power supplies;therefore,these four magnet power supplies are developed for the BEPC-II upgrading.Methods The power supplies adopt topologies of thyristor rectifiers to realize a high-power output.In the control unit of each power supply,a digital current closed loop is adopted,and the key components in the feedback loop are thermostatically controlled.In order to improve the performances of the power supplies,analog voltage regulators are added to the inner control loops.Results These four power supplies have been tested and have already been officially used in BEPC-II,and their powers have reached the requirements of the upgrading.The test results of the current stability are described and shown in this paper,which testifies that the stabilities meet the design parameters.Conclusions A digital control is applied to each SCR rectifier control.The performances of the power supplies are improved by the combination of digital current control loops and the analog voltage control loops,which makes the performances of the dipole magnet power supplies meet the requirements of the upgrading project.
