DC was extracted and separated with petroleum ether and chloroform successively.The acute toxicities of the two extracts on mice were measured,and then the analgesic effects were measured with writhing pain model induced by acetic acid.[Results]No mice died when the crude dosages of B.alba (L.) DC from petroleum ether extract and chloroform extract were 5 016 and 5 100 mg/kg,respectively.When the petroleum ether extract was 60.0 mg/kg,the percentage of twisted mice induced by acetic acid was 40%,the analgesic rate was 77.5%,and the time of the first writhing was (294.0±165.8) s;when the chloroform extract was 20.0 mg/kg,the percentage of twisted animals was 55.6%,the analgesic rate was 51.5%,and the time of the first writhing was (273.8 ±153.4) s;and when the chloroform extract was 4.0 mg/kg,the percentage of twisted animals was 40%,and the analgesic rate was 62.1%,and the time of the first writhing was (370.6±231.3) s.[Conclusions]The petroleum ether extracts and chloroform extracts of B.alba (L.) Background:The rate of death among people living with HIV/AIDS has decreased significantly as a result of treatment with highly active antiretroviral therapy(HAART).However,the issues of drug induced toxicities and co...Background:The rate of death among people living with HIV/AIDS has decreased significantly as a result of treatment with highly active antiretroviral therapy(HAART).However,the issues of drug induced toxicities and complexity of current HAART regimens has remained of great concern.The aim of this study was to determine factors in uencing antiretroviral regimen changes among people living with HIV/AIDS in China.Methods:This retrospective study collected data through face-to-face interviews with people living with HIV/AIDS who were receiving HAART,and gathered relevant information from infectious disease hospitals.The following information were collected:social-demographic characteristics,antiretroviral therapies,CD4 cell counts,virus loads,reasons for changing medication and other related data.Mean and percentages were used to describe the frequency of regimen change among patients,and binary logistic regression was employed to test the factors in uencing regimen change.Results:1,123 people who had experienced regimen change were included in the analysis.On average,patients remained on HAART for 10.2 months before changing regimen,and the average CD4 cell count and viral load(VL)were 383.1 cells/ l and 28,132.4 copies/mL respectively when changing regimen.The reasons for modi cation were determined as treatment failure(52.5%),adverse reactions(32.3%),and other reasons including pregnancy(15.2%).There are significant differences in regimen change among people with different genders(P<0.001),modes of transmission(P<0.001),duration of HAART(P<0.001)and initial CD4 cell counts(P=0.0024).Males,drug users,people taking long-term medication,and those with lower initial CD4 counts when starting HAART tend to change regimen.Conclusion:Treatment failure was the main reason for the change of HAART regimen.Males,drug users,people on longterm medication and those with lower initial CD4 cell counts when starting HAART were most likely to change regimen.展开更多

Photovoltaic cells are cooled by PCM and TEG to obtain better power generation performance.However,the thermal buildup of the PCM limits the power generation of the system.A photovoltaic phase change material hybrid t...Photovoltaic cells are cooled by PCM and TEG to obtain better power generation performance.However,the thermal buildup of the PCM limits the power generation of the system.A photovoltaic phase change material hybrid thermoelectric power generation(PV/2T-PCM-TEG)system based on dual thermal channel is proposed by installing thermal channels in the PCM layer and the TEG layer.In this study,a numerical model of the hybrid system is established,the validity of the model is verified through experiments,and the thermoelectric performance of the hybrid system is analyzed.The effects of the inlet velocity and inlet temperature of the dual thermal channel on the thermoelectric performance of the system were also investigated.The results show that the average maximum temperature of PV is only 317.39 K,the average PV efficiency can reach 15.03%,the average power generation per unit area is 84.16 W/m^(2),and the average heating power is 139.57 W/m^(2).The increase of the inlet velocity of the dual thermal channel and the decrease of the inlet temperature enhance the overall performance of the system.The inlet velocity and inlet temperature of the TEG layer have a greater effect on the average total generation power,while it is the inlet velocity and inlet temperature of the PCM layer that have a greater effect on the average total thermal power.This study serves as a guide for the subsequent optimization and practical application of the system.展开更多
Background:Human chemokines are linked to tumor survival and perform a critical role in the pancreatic adenocarcinoma(PAAD)microenvironment.It is not known if abnormal expression of chemokines contributes to the progn...Background:Human chemokines are linked to tumor survival and perform a critical role in the pancreatic adenocarcinoma(PAAD)microenvironment.It is not known if abnormal expression of chemokines contributes to the prognostic features of PAAD.Therefore,this study explored gene alteration profiles of chemokines in PAAD and constructed a chemokine family-based prog-nosis signature(CPS).Methods:RNA-Seq and clinical data from 176 PAAD patients were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database.Bioinformatics analysis tools were used to assess the expression and prognostic value of chemokines.A profile affecting patient survival was obtained using unsupervised hierarchical clustering and a prognostic model of chemokine-related genes was con-structed to explore the immune landscape.Findings:Twenty-nine chemokines were highly expressed in PAAD tissues,and 10 were significantly associated with poor prognosis.Hierarchical clustering resulted in the classification of the PAAD cohort into 2 clusters.High levels of chemokines in-dicated a worse prognosis(hazard ratio[HR]5.4,95%confidence interval[CI]1.7-17;P=.004).A CPS containing 7 hub genes was constructed using the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)and stepwise multivariable Cox analysis.This signature separated PAAD patients into high-and low-risk groups and was confirmed as an independent prognostic factor.An ESTIMATE score and TIMER2.0 analysis further reflected the immune profile of PAAD,which had a higher percentage of localized immune cell infiltration with predominantly suppressive cells.Interpretation:This is the first chemokine family-based model for predicting outcomes in PAAD patients.Our work highlights the need to understand the mechanism of chemokine contributions to PAAD occurrence.展开更多
Gastric cancer(GC)is a prevalent and lethal malignancy worldwide,and the 5-year survival rate is less than 30%.The absence of distinctive symptoms often leads to late-stage diagnosis,contributing to a grim prognosis.E...Gastric cancer(GC)is a prevalent and lethal malignancy worldwide,and the 5-year survival rate is less than 30%.The absence of distinctive symptoms often leads to late-stage diagnosis,contributing to a grim prognosis.Early detection is pivotal for improving the survival rates and outcomes of GC patients.Traditional diagnostic methods,including gastroscopy and histopathological examination,are restricted in the early diagnosis of GC.Conventional protein biomarkers,such as carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),and carbohydrate antigen 72-4(CA72-4),exhibit insufficient sensitivity and specificity for GC screening,which diminishes their clinical value.Recently,novel circulating biomarkers,such as circulating tumor cells(CTCs),circulating tumor cell DNA(ct DNA),and circulating free RNA(cf RNA),have emerged as promising candidates in the burgeoning field of liquid biopsy due to their superior sensitivity and specificity.This review focuses on the latest research on blood-based biomarkers for GC diagnosis and examines the clinical potentials and challenges associated with these emerging biomarkers.展开更多
The frontier molecular orbitals of organic semiconductor materials play a crucial role in the performance of photoelectric devices,including organic photovoltaics(OPVs),organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs),and organic...The frontier molecular orbitals of organic semiconductor materials play a crucial role in the performance of photoelectric devices,including organic photovoltaics(OPVs),organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs),and organic photodetectors(OPDs).In this work,a model for predicting frontier molecular orbital of organic materials,including HOMO and LUMO levels,is established with the extreme gradient boosting algorithm and Klekota-Roth fingerprints.The correlation coefficients of HOMO or LUMO energy levels in the testing set are 0.75 and 0.84 in the transfer model from 11,626 DFT data in Harvard Energy database to 1198 experimental data in literature.The difference between the ML predicted value and the experimental value is smaller than the difference between ML prediction and DFT calculation,always less than 10%.展开更多

文摘Gastric cancer(GC)is a prevalent and lethal malignancy worldwide,and the 5-year survival rate is less than 30%.The absence of distinctive symptoms often leads to late-stage diagnosis,contributing to a grim prognosis.Early detection is pivotal for improving the survival rates and outcomes of GC patients.Traditional diagnostic methods,including gastroscopy and histopathological examination,are restricted in the early diagnosis of GC.Conventional protein biomarkers,such as carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),and carbohydrate antigen 72-4(CA72-4),exhibit insufficient sensitivity and specificity for GC screening,which diminishes their clinical value.Recently,novel circulating biomarkers,such as circulating tumor cells(CTCs),circulating tumor cell DNA(ct DNA),and circulating free RNA(cf RNA),have emerged as promising candidates in the burgeoning field of liquid biopsy due to their superior sensitivity and specificity.This review focuses on the latest research on blood-based biomarkers for GC diagnosis and examines the clinical potentials and challenges associated with these emerging biomarkers.

文摘The frontier molecular orbitals of organic semiconductor materials play a crucial role in the performance of photoelectric devices,including organic photovoltaics(OPVs),organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs),and organic photodetectors(OPDs).In this work,a model for predicting frontier molecular orbital of organic materials,including HOMO and LUMO levels,is established with the extreme gradient boosting algorithm and Klekota-Roth fingerprints.The correlation coefficients of HOMO or LUMO energy levels in the testing set are 0.75 and 0.84 in the transfer model from 11,626 DFT data in Harvard Energy database to 1198 experimental data in literature.The difference between the ML predicted value and the experimental value is smaller than the difference between ML prediction and DFT calculation,always less than 10%.
