Efficacy of scleral buckling for the treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment using a novel foldable capsular buckle 被引量:1

●AIM:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of scleral buckling for the treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment(RRD)using a novel foldable capsular buckle(FCB).●METHODS:This was a series of case observation... ●AIM:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of scleral buckling for the treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment(RRD)using a novel foldable capsular buckle(FCB).●METHODS:This was a series of case observation studies.Eighteen patients(18 eyes)who visited our ophthalmology department between August 2020 and August 2022 and were treated for RRD with scleral buckling using FCB were included.The procedure was similar to conventional scleral buckling,while a balloon-like FCB was placed onto the retinal break with balanced salt solution filling for a broad,external indentation instead of the silicone buckle.The retinal reattachment rate,best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),intraocular pressure(IOP),refractive dioptre and astigmatism degree,and complications were evaluated and recorded.●RESULTS:There were 7 males and 11 females aged 19-58y.The average time course of RRD was 12d,ranging from 7-20d.The retinal break was located in the superior quadrants in 8 eyes and in the inferior quadrants in 10 eyes,with macula-off detachments in 12 eyes.The patients were followed-up for at least 6mo.The final retinal reattachment rate was 100%.The BCVA was significantly improved compared with the baseline(P<0.05).There was no significant change in refractive dioptre or astigmatism degree at each follow-up(all P>0.05).Three patients had transiently high IOPs within one week after surgery.Mild diplopia occurred in 5 patients after surgery and then disappeared after the balloon fluid was removed.●CONCLUSION:The success rate of FCB scleral buckling for RRD is satisfactory.This procedure can be expected to be applied in new,uncomplicated cases of RRD. 展开更多

The presence of the blood–brain barrier limits the drug concentration in the brain,while low concentrations of antibiotics make it difficult to kill infecting bacteria and tends to induce drug resistance,making the clinical treatment of bacterial meningitis challenging.Herein,a nose-to-brain delivery strategy of small-sized nanozyme has been fabricated for combating bacterial meningitis,to overcome the low drug concentration and drug resistance.This strategy was achieved by a proteinsupported Au nanozyme(ANZ).With a particle size of less than 10 nm,it possesses both glucose oxidase-like and peroxidase-like activities and can generate large amounts of reactive oxygen species through a cascade effect without the addition of external H_(2)O_(2).Benefiting from the cascade catalytic amplification effect generated by its dual enzymelike activities,ANZ shows significant broad-spectrum antibacterial activity without inducing bacterial resistance in vitro.Notably,small-sized ANZ exhibits higher brain entry efficiency and greater accumulation after intranasal administration compared to oral or intravenous administration.In a mouse model of bacterial meningitis,the mice treated with ANZ had lower bacterial loads in the brain and higher survival and clinical behavior scores compared to the classical antibiotic ceftriaxone.Additionally,the meningitis mice exhibited undamaged cognitive and behavioral abilities,indicating the excellent biocompatibility of ANZ.The above results demonstrate that nose-to-brain delivery of ANZ exhibits high intracerebral accumulation,strong antibacterial efficacy and does not lead to bacterial resistance.It holds broad prospects for the treatment of bacterial meningitis. 展开更多

SBA-15 with varied pore size from 4 to 8 nm were synthesized by tuning the temperature of hydrothermal treatment,the supports were then used to load the active phase Cr Oxthrough a conventional impregnation method.The resulting catalysts were characterized by small/wide angle XRD,N_(2) adsorption/desorption,FT-IR,TEM-EDX,XPS,TPR and CO_(2)-TPD to study the feature of structure,surface chemical state,redox and basicity.It was found from these results that the metal species could be well dispersed on catalysts with larger pore size.Cr^(6+)species could enter into the framework by substituting the Si atoms of SBA-15,and Cr^(3+)mainly exist on extra framework.Pore size had profound effects on reducibility,surface composition and basicity.Cr^(6+)species were necessary to activate the C-H bonds of alkanes,while the basicity played an important role in activating C-O bonds of CO_(2).The best performances were achieved over the sample Cr supported on SBA-15 with a pore diameter of 7 nm in oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane in the presence of CO_(2). 展开更多

Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by motor and gastrointestinal dysfunction.Gastrointestinal dysfunction can precede the onset of motor symptoms by several years.Gut microbiota dysbiosis is involved in the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease,whether it plays a causal role in motor dysfunction,and the mechanism underlying this potential effect,remain unknown.CCAAT/enhancer binding proteinβ/asparagine endopeptidase(C/EBPβ/AEP)signaling,activated by bacterial endotoxin,can promoteα-synuclein transcription,thereby contributing to Parkinson’s disease pathology.In this study,we aimed to investigate the role of the gut microbiota in C/EBPβ/AEP signaling,α-synuclein-related pathology,and motor symptoms using a rotenone-induced mouse model of Parkinson’s disease combined with antibiotic-induced microbiome depletion and fecal microbiota transplantation.We found that rotenone administration resulted in gut microbiota dysbiosis and perturbation of the intestinal barrier,as well as activation of the C/EBP/AEP pathway,α-synuclein aggregation,and tyrosine hydroxylase-positive neuron loss in the substantia nigra in mice with motor deficits.However,treatment with rotenone did not have any of these adverse effects in mice whose gut microbiota was depleted by pretreatment with antibiotics.Importantly,we found that transplanting gut microbiota derived from mice treated with rotenone induced motor deficits,intestinal inflammation,and endotoxemia.Transplantation of fecal microbiota from healthy control mice alleviated rotenone-induced motor deficits,intestinal inflammation,endotoxemia,and intestinal barrier impairment.These results highlight the vital role that gut microbiota dysbiosis plays in inducing motor deficits,C/EBPβ/AEP signaling activation,andα-synuclein-related pathology in a rotenone-induced mouse model of Parkinson’s disease.Additionally,our findings suggest that supplementing with healthy microbiota may be a safe and effective treatment that could help ameliorate the progression of motor deficits in patients with Parkinson’s disease. 展开更多

硬脆材料具有硬度大、脆性高等特点,使用传统方法对硬脆材料加工效率低。电弧加工产生的电流密度远大于电火花加工产生的电流密度,因此电弧加工相比电火花加工具有更高的加工效率。针对硬脆材料的特点,设计了一种旋转超声振动辅助电弧... 硬脆材料具有硬度大、脆性高等特点,使用传统方法对硬脆材料加工效率低。电弧加工产生的电流密度远大于电火花加工产生的电流密度,因此电弧加工相比电火花加工具有更高的加工效率。针对硬脆材料的特点,设计了一种旋转超声振动辅助电弧加工机床。机床采取‘C’型结构,由机床工作台和数控系统组成。设计机床工作台主要由X-Y-Z三坐标轴、超声旋转主轴、伺服电机、大理石工作台、立柱和工作液槽构成。数控系统由开关控制器、运动控制卡、伺服驱动器、脉冲电源、超声发生器、电脑工控机组成。最后,利用研制的实验机床,对不同厚度弹簧合金钢进行小孔实验。将小孔显微图形通过矩阵实验室软件进行小孔边缘检测和圆度计算。实验结果表明:超声振动辅助下加工的小孔质量更好,边缘更加圆滑。 展开更多

A mathematical hydraulic support self-tracking model for three-machine cooperative mining is proposed to address low efficiency and difficulties in strategy evaluation of a fully mechanized coal face.The proposed model uses the coordinates and traction speed of the shearer to calculate the frequency of the circular hydraulic support and realize the coordinated operation of the three-machine mining technology.A unity3d hardware-in-the-loop simulation experimental hearer and hydraulic support platform was used to validate the model of autonomous follow-up.The results indicate that collaborative control of coal mining allowed for an efficiency 3.76%higher than under automatic operation mode and 46.03%higher than under manual control;thus,The mathematical model provided an improved production efficiency of the fully mechanized mining face.The mathematical model also provides a more intelligent and reliable security support,and improves the intelligent level of hydraulic support follow-up control. 展开更多

·AIM: To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of ultrasonic cycloplasty(UCP) vs Ahmed glaucoma drainage valve implantation(ADV) in addition to intravitreal antivascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) for tre... ·AIM: To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of ultrasonic cycloplasty(UCP) vs Ahmed glaucoma drainage valve implantation(ADV) in addition to intravitreal antivascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) for treatment of fundus disease-related neovascular glaucoma(NVG).·METHODS: A total of 43 patients(45 eyes) with NVG secondary to fundus diseases underwent anti-VEGF combined with UCP or ADV from August 2020 to March 2022 were enrolled in this retrospective cohort study. Of them, 14 patients(15 eyes) were treated with both UCP and anti-VEGF as the UCP group and 29 patients(30 eyes) treated with both ADV and anti-VEGF as the ADV group. The success of the treatment was defined as intraocular pressure(IOP) between 11-20 mm Hg with or without using IOP-lowering drugs. IOP measurement, IOP lowering drugs at baseline and follow-ups period and complications were recorded.·RESULTS: The average age was 63.03±9.95 and 52.27±12.89y in ADV and UCP groups, respectively(P=1.947). The fundus pathology included proliferative diabetic retinopathy in 42 eyes and retinal vein occlusion in 3 eyes. All eyes in both groups achieved successful treatment at 3mo. While the success rate was 90.0%(27/30) in the ADV group and 86.7%(13/15) in the UCP group at the last follow-up of 6mo(P>0.05). IOP was significantly lower with reduction of drug use than the baseline in both groups(both P<0.05). And the ADV group needed fewer anti-glaucoma drops than the UCP group from 1d to 3mo. The comfort scores of patients in the ADV group were significantly lower than those in the UCP group in the first week after the operation(P<0.05).·CONCLUSION: UCP is an alternative to the ADV with the same efficacy but non-invasive for the treatment of NVG. 展开更多

[目的/意义]清代档案文献承载着清代的历史记忆,对清代档案文献进行知识重组,解决内容晦涩、利用门槛高的困境,有助于深入剖析其中反映的社会现象。[方法/过程]构建清代档案文献知识重组框架,依次进行语料采集、知识建模、知识抽取、知识融合、知识存储,实现知识重组,并对知识重组的结果进行分析。[结果/结论]研究发现,《钦定大清会典事例》对清代文官之间升任关系记载较为详细,但对升班之外的关系描述较少甚至缺失;所记载的文官官制以满洲缺和汉缺为主,且中下品级官职数量汉缺远多于满洲缺,而在重要职位的设置上满洲缺与汉缺近似;清代文官官制既保证低级官职任命的灵活性,又在一定程度上避免高品级官员的冗滥;同一品级官职可能因地域、部院等导致职位高低、权力大小的差异。 展开更多
