The presence of aluminum(Al^(3+))and fluoride(F^(−))ions in the environment can be harmful to ecosystems and human health,highlighting the need for accurate and efficient monitoring.In this paper,an innovative approach is presented that leverages the power of machine learning to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of fluorescence-based detection for sequential quantitative analysis of aluminum(Al^(3+))and fluoride(F^(−))ions in aqueous solutions.The proposed method involves the synthesis of sulfur-functionalized carbon dots(C-dots)as fluorescence probes,with fluorescence enhancement upon interaction with Al^(3+)ions,achieving a detection limit of 4.2 nmol/L.Subsequently,in the presence of F^(−)ions,fluorescence is quenched,with a detection limit of 47.6 nmol/L.The fingerprints of fluorescence images are extracted using a cross-platform computer vision library in Python,followed by data preprocessing.Subsequently,the fingerprint data is subjected to cluster analysis using the K-means model from machine learning,and the average Silhouette Coefficient indicates excellent model performance.Finally,a regression analysis based on the principal component analysis method is employed to achieve more precise quantitative analysis of aluminum and fluoride ions.The results demonstrate that the developed model excels in terms of accuracy and sensitivity.This groundbreaking model not only showcases exceptional performance but also addresses the urgent need for effective environmental monitoring and risk assessment,making it a valuable tool for safeguarding our ecosystems and public health. 展开更多

Atomic-scale doping strategies and structure design play pivotal roles in tailoring the electronic structure and physicochemical property of electromagnetic wave absorption(EMWA)materials.However,the relationship between configuration and electromagnetic(EM)loss mechanism has remained elusive.Herein,drawing inspiration from the DNA transcription process,we report the successful synthesis of novel in situ Mn/N co-doped helical carbon nanotubes with ultrabroad EMWA capability.Theoretical calculation and EM simulation confirm that the orbital coupling and spin polarization of the Mn–N4–C configuration,along with cross polarization generated by the helical structure,endow the helical converters with enhanced EM loss.As a result,HMC-8 demonstrates outstanding EMWA performance,achieving a minimum reflection loss of−63.13 dB at an ultralow thickness of 1.29 mm.Through precise tuning of the graphite domain size,HMC-7 achieves an effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 6.08 GHz at 2.02 mm thickness.Furthermore,constructing macroscale gradient metamaterials enables an ultrabroadband EAB of 12.16 GHz at a thickness of only 5.00 mm,with the maximum radar cross section reduction value reaching 36.4 dB m2.This innovative approach not only advances the understanding of metal–nonmetal co-doping but also realizes broadband EMWA,thus contributing to the development of EMWA mechanisms and applications. 展开更多

Microbial growth causes lamb spoilage.This study explored the spoilage ability of Latilactobacillus sakei,Serratia proteamaculans and Hafnia proteus in vacuum-packed raw lamb,including growth ability,degradation of protein and lipid,and change of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)profile,meanwhile screened the key VOCs produced by the targeted strains with meat background excluding,finally confirmed the volatile spoilage marker of vacuum-packaged lamb by comparing with our previous work.The results showed that L.sakei,S.proteamaculans and H.proteus had excellent growth ability.L.sakei inoculated group significantly reduced the pH value,showed higher trichloroacetic acid-soluble peptides content,and excellently degraded sarcoplasmic and myofibrillar proteins.About free amino acids,L.sakei significantly degraded serine,arginine and aspartic acid,while S.proteamaculans and H.proteus significantly degraded serine and lysine.In addition,L.sakei had the strongest effect on promoting free fatty acid production,followed by S.proteamaculans and finally H.proteus.Evaluating from various indicators,the co-culture of the three strains did not have any effect.The key volatiles produced by L.sakei were 1-hexanol,acetic acid and hexanoic acid,S.proteamaculans produced 1-hexanol and acetoin,and H.proteus produced 1-hexanol,acetic acid and acetoin.In the end,1-hexanol,hexanoic acid and acetoin were proven to be spoilage markers for vacuum-packaged and chilled lamb.This study can provide fundamental information for inhibiting and rapid identification of spoilage in vacuum-packaged lamb. 展开更多

Vat photopolymerization(VPP)3D printing is an optimized technology for complex-shaped ceramic cores,in which the solid loading of ceramic slurries greatly infiuences the microstructure and property of the final ceramic parts.However,the high solid loading of slurries is highly limited by the high viscosity.In this study,silica-based ceramic core slurries with solid loading up to 68vol.%were achieved by the composition design to optimize the performance,considering the curing,rheological,and double bond conversion rate.The slurries demonstrate superior curing and rheological performance with mass ratio of monomers being 3:2 and mass fraction of BYK111 being 4wt.%.Afterwards,the impact of solid loading on the morphology and mechanical properties was investigated.As the solid loading increases,the microstructure becomes gradually dense,leading to an improved flexural strength of 19.5 MPa.Additionally,the sintering shrinkage becomes more uniform,satisfying the casting requirements effectively.This work serves as a guide for the preparation of ceramic slurries with a high solid loading. 展开更多

A two-stage scheduling algorithm based on pointer network with attention mechanism for micro-nano Earth observation satellite constellation

Micro-nano Earth Observation Satellite(MEOS)constellation has the advantages of low construction cost,short revisit cycle,and high functional density,which is considered a promising solution for serving rapidly growing observation demands.The observation Scheduling Problem in the MEOS constellation(MEOSSP)is a challenging issue due to the large number of satellites and tasks,as well as complex observation constraints.To address the large-scale and complicated MEOSSP,we develop a Two-Stage Scheduling Algorithm based on the Pointer Network with Attention mechanism(TSSA-PNA).In TSSA-PNA,the MEOS observation scheduling is decomposed into a task allocation stage and a single-MEOS scheduling stage.In the task allocation stage,an adaptive task allocation algorithm with four problem-specific allocation operators is proposed to reallocate the unscheduled tasks to new MEOSs.Regarding the single-MEOS scheduling stage,we design a pointer network based on the encoder-decoder architecture to learn the optimal singleMEOS scheduling solution and introduce the attention mechanism into the encoder to improve the learning efficiency.The Pointer Network with Attention mechanism(PNA)can generate the single-MEOS scheduling solution quickly in an end-to-end manner.These two decomposed stages are performed iteratively to search for the solution with high profit.A greedy local search algorithm is developed to improve the profits further.The performance of the PNA and TSSA-PNA on singleMEOS and multi-MEOS scheduling problems are evaluated in the experiments.The experimental results demonstrate that PNA can obtain the approximate solution for the single-MEOS scheduling problem in a short time.Besides,the TSSA-PNA can achieve higher observation profits than the existing scheduling algorithms within the acceptable computational time for the large-scale MEOS scheduling problem. 展开更多

BACKGROUND The clinical metastasis rate of lung cancer is tremendously low in gastrointestinal tract.Individuals enduring small intestine metastasis of lung cancer are normally featured by less desirable prognosis and shorter survival than those with me-tastasis in other parts of the body.As a consequence,it holds crucial significance to conduct early diagnosis and development of systematic treatment for patients with gastrointestinal metastasis in lung cancer.In this case,a 59-year-old female patient,diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma,experienced intestinal obstruction attributable to subsequent small intestinal metastasis.Imaging confirmed the metastasis to the small intestine after the adenocarcinoma diagnosis,ultimately giving rise to advanced-stage intestinal obstruction.Conservative treatment proved ineffective,progressing to intestinal perforation in the later stages.This resulted in peritonitis and infectious toxic shock and other serious clinical manifestations.Aggressive surgical resection mitigated the risk of disease progression and even fatality,which tremendously ameliorated the patient’s prognosis and prolonged her survival.CONCLUSION Patients enduring lung cancer who exhibit acute abdominal symptoms should be mindful of the potential for small intestinal metastasis.Intestinal perforation typically occurs in advanced stages of the disease.Moreover,and aggressive surgical treatment can mitigate the risk of multifarious complications such as peritonitis,infectious toxic shock,and even fatality. 展开更多

For the longitudinal midcourse guidance problem of a cruise-glide integrated hypersonic vehicle(CGHV),an analytical method based on optimal control theory is proposed.This method constructs a guidance dynamics model for such vehicles,using aerodynamic load as the control variable,and introduces a framework for solving the guidance laws.This framework unifies the design process of guidance laws for both the glide and cruise phases.By decomposing the longitudinal guidance task into position control and velocity control,and minimizing energy consumption as the objective function,the method provides an analytical solution for velocity control load through the calculation of costate variables.This approach requires only the current state and terminal state parameters to determine the guidance law solution.Furthermore,by transforming path constraints into aerodynamic load constraints and solving backwards to obtain the angle of attack,bank angle,and throttle setting,this method ensures a smooth transition from the glide phase to the cruise phase,guaranteeing the successful completion of the guidance task.Finally,the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method are validated through case simulations and analysis. 展开更多

Cover cropping is a diversifying agricultural practice that can improve soil structure and function by altering the underground litter diversity and soil microbial communities.Here,we tested how a wheat cover crop alters the decomposition of cucumber root litter.A three-year greenhouse litterbag decomposition experiment showed that a wheat cover crop accelerates the decomposition of cucumber root litter.A microcosm litterbag experiment further showed that wheat litter and the soil microbial community could improve cucumber root litter decomposition.Moreover,the wheat cover crop altered the abundances and diversities of soil bacterial and fungal communities,and enriched several putative keystone operational taxonomic units(OTUs),such as Bacillus sp.OTU1837 and Mortierella sp.OTU1236,that were positively related to the mass loss of cucumber root litter.The representative bacterial and fungal strains B186 and M3 were isolated and cultured.In vitro decomposition tests demonstrated that both B186 and M3 had cucumber root litter decomposition activity and a stronger effect was found when they were co-incubated.Overall,a wheat cover crop accelerated cucumber root litter decomposition by altering the soil microbial communities,particularly by stimulating certain putative keystone taxa,which provides a theoretical basis for using cover crops to promote sustainable agricultural development. 展开更多

Solid-state batteries(SSBs)with high-capacity Si anodes have been regarded as one of the most promising candidates to meet the large scale energy storage and electrical vehicles due to its intrinsic safety and potential high energy density.However,Si suffers from poor electrical conductivity and huge volume change and particles fracture during lithiaiotn and delithiation,which induces low practical energy density.In addition,the SSBs are often operated at high temperature due to the poor physical contact and huge resistance between Si and solid-state electrolyte(SSE).To improve the bulk electronic/ionic conductivity of Si and its interfacial compatibility with SSE,herein,a binder free and self-supporting Si/C film was developed.The monolithic carbon not only enhance the electric conductivity but also release huge stress during lithiation and delithiation.In addition,paired with the flexible and soft poly(vinylidene fluoride)-co-hexafluoropropylene(PVDF-HFP)and Li_(1.3)A_(l0.3)Ti_(1.7)(PO_(4))_(3)(LATP)solid-state electrolyte,a LiF-rich and electrochemical stable solid-electrolyte interphase(SEI)layer is in-situ engineered.The fast bulk and interfacial ionic transportation as well as the mechanical integrity of MSi enable high performance SSBs at room temperature.As a result,high specific capacity of 2137 m Ah/g with an initial Coulombic efficiency of 83.2%is obtained at a rate of 0.5 A/g.Even at a high rate of 3 A/g,the specific capacity is1793 m Ah/g.At a rate of 1 A/g,the Si/C anode delivers a long cycling performance over 500 cycles while maintains a capacity of 1135 mAh/g.This work provides a new strategy that combines charge transfer kinetics and interfacial chemistry design toward high energy density Si-based SSBs. 展开更多

The management of nitrogenous waste emissions presents significant environmental and health challenges.Efficient and sustainable upcycling strategies are needed to convert waste nitrogen compounds into valuable resources.Electrocatalysis has emerged as a promising solution for waste management,but several challenges remain,including the identification of suitable electrocatalysts and understanding the complex reaction mechanisms.In this review,we focus on the progress in electrocatalytic oxidized nitrogen waste upgrading and utilization,highlighting the application of advanced in situ/operando characterization techniques,including X-ray spectroscopy,scanning electrochemical microscopy and others.These techniques provide valuable insights into the structural and chemical properties of electrocatalysts as well as intermediates during electrochemical reactions,enabling a better understanding of reaction mechanisms and optimization of reaction conditions.The review explores the mechanisms of electrocatalytic upcycling of nitrogenous waste,including nitrate/nitrite reduction,nitric oxide reduction,and carbon dioxide and nitrate co-reduction reactions.Additionally,future research directions and development trends are discussed,offering a relevant guide for the development of sustainable electrocatalytic technologies for waste management and resource recovery. 展开更多

The utilization of phosphors that achieve full-spectrum lighting has emerged as a prevailing trend in the advancement of white light-emitting diode(WLED)lighting.In this study,we successfully prepared a novel green phosphor Ba_(2)Sc_(2)((BO_(3))_(2)B_(2)O_(5)):Ce^(3+)(BSBO:Ce^(3+))that can be utilized for full-spectrum lighting and low-temperature sensors.BSBO:Ce^(3+)exhibits a broad-band excitation spectrum centered at 410 nm,and a broad-band emission spectrum centered at 525 nm.The internal and external quantum efficiencies of BSBO:Ce^(3+)are 99%and 49%,respectively.The thermal stability of BSBO:Ce^(3+)can be improved by substituting partial Sc atoms with smaller cations.The thermal quenching mechanism of BSBO:Ce^(3+)and the lattice occupancy of Ce ions in BSBO are discussed in detail.Furthermore,by combining the green phosphor BSBO:Ce^(3+),the commercial blue phosphor and the red phosphor on a 405 nm chip,a white light source was obtained with a high average color rendering index(CRI)of 96.6,a low correlated color temperature(CCT)of 3988 K,and a high luminous efficacy of 88.0 Im/W.The lu-minous efficacy of the WLED exhibits negligible degradation during the 1000 h light aging experiment.What's more,an emission peak at 468 nm appears when excited at 352 nm and 80 K,however,the relative intensity of the peaks at 468 and 525 nm gradually weakens with increasing temperature,indicating the potential of this material as a low-temperature sensor. 展开更多

Myocardial infarction(MI)is characterized by focal necrosis resulting from prolonged myocardial ischemia due to coronary artery obstruction.Vascular reconstruction following MI is crucial for improving cardiac function and preventing recurrent infarction.This study investigates the interaction between macrophages and endothelial cells in angiogenesis mediated by nicotinamide mononucleotide(NMN)-induced secretion of macrophage-derived exosomes.We focus on the role of U2 small nuclear RNA auxiliary factor 1(U2af1)gene,a member of the splicing factor serine and arginine(SR)gene family,in the regulation of angiogenesis.Through cardiac ultrasound,Masson staining,2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC)staining,Microfil vascular perfusion,and platelet and endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1(CD31)immunofluorescence staining,extracellular vesicles from NMN-stimulated macrophages were shown to exert a protective effect in MI,with proteomic analysis identifying U2AF1 as a candidate protein involved in MI protection.Plasma U2AF1 levels were measured in 70 MI patients,revealing significantly lower levels in individuals with poor coronary collateral vessel(CCV;Rentrop scores 0–1)than in those with good CCV(Rentrop scores 2–3).In both myocardial and hindlimb ischemia mouse models,overexpression of endothelial cell-specific adenoviral overexpression U2AF1 promoted angiogenesis in the heart and hindlimbs and improved cardiac function after MI.Mechanistic studies demonstrated that U2AF1 regulates the alternative splicing(AS)of Yes1-associated transcriptional regulator(Yap1)gene,influencing post-MI angiogenesis and cardiac function recovery.Collectively,our clinical findings suggest that U2AF1 may serve as a therapeutic target for coronary collateral angiogenesis following MI.Given the low immunogenicity and high biosafety of exosomes,this study provides a foundational basis and translational potential for exosome-based therapies in MI treatment. 展开更多

Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)semiconductor materials have garnered significant attention in solar to chemical energy conversion owing to their unique properties,including structural tunability,pre-design capability,large surface area,abundant pore structures,high crystallinity,excellent chemical stability,suitable energy-band structure,fast charge carrier transfer and so on.These intrinsic features endow COFs with the remarkable candidates for various photocatalytic applications including photocatalytic H_(2) generation from water reduction,CO_(2) reduction,degradation of organic pollutants,N_(2) fixation,H_(2)O_(2) evolution,and even organic synthesis.Here,this review comprehensively summarizes the recent advancements in COF-based materials for the above photocatalytic reactions,including the historic overview of the COF in the photocatalysis field,the fundamentals and design philosophy of COF-based photocatalysts,the advances of synthesis strategies,the structural characteristics and diversities,the practical applications in various photocatalytic fields as well as the challenges and future development direction in terms of COFs material and application perspectives.We sincerely hope this review can offer symbolic guidelines for future development COF semiconductor materials in this promising field. 展开更多

Redox dyshomeostasis is a critical factor in the initiation of numerous diseases,making the accurate evaluation of the redox status of the cellular environment an important aspect of physiological research.However,maintaining redox homeostasis relies on a complex and dynamic physiological system involving multiple substrate-enzyme interactions,so its accurately detection remains a challenge.With this research,we developed an activable fiuorescence switching platform by incorporating different conjugate acceptors to a fiuorophore using ester bonds and resulting in fiuorescence quenching due to donor-excited photo-induced electron transfer(d-Pe T),which was confirmed through density functional theory calculations.The reaction-based probe was deployed for recognizing all major intracellular reducing sulfur species(RSS),including H_(2)S,cysteine(Cys),homocysteine(Hcy),glutathione(GSH),and protein free thiols.The quenched fiuorescence was significantly recovered by RSS,through releasing the fiuorophore and diminishing the d-Pe T effect.Furthermore,the fiuorescent probe was used for the sensing and imaging RSS in living cells,demonstrating good cell-permeability,low cytotoxicity,and negative correlation with reactive oxygen species content,enabling the evaluating of global thiols redox state in Hep G2 cellular lines during ferroptosis processes. 展开更多

Background:Lung cancer remains a major factor causing cancer-associated mortality globally.While there have been advancements in treatment options,advanced lung cancer patients still have poor outcomes.This study aims to investigate the potential role of Transmembrane protein 33(TMEM33)in the development of lung adenocarcinoma.Methods:We leveraged The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database to analyze the connection between TMEM33 expression to the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD).Cell proliferation,invasiveness,and sphere formation were analyzed by various experiments.The association of miR-214-3p with TMEM33 was explored using luciferase reporter assay,immunoblotting,and real-time quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR).Additionally,TMEM33’s biological role was confirmed in the mouse xenograft model through lung cancer transplantation and metastasis studies.Results:TMEM33 showed high expression within both LUAD tissues and cells,with its expression correlating with poor patient survival outcomes.Silencing TMEM33 resulted in significant reductions in cell proliferation,invasiveness,and stem-like properties.Further investigation suggested that miR-214-3p negatively regulated TMEM33.In both cellular and animal models,we further demonstrated that TMEM33 knockdown could effectively suppress the aggressiveness of lung cancer cells,impeding tumor growth and inhibiting metastasis in the mouse model.Moreover,reducing TMEM33 expression reduced key signaling molecules within the Wnt/β-catenin pathway,providing insights into TMEM33’s mechanistic role in LUAD.Conclusion:TMEM33 functions as an oncogene,which is under the negative regulation of miR-214-3p,to promote the LUAD malignant characteristics by engaging the Wnt/β-catenin cascade. 展开更多

Currently,iodine-compatible cathodes for iodine propulsion systems that can provide ampere-level electron currents with a reasonable power consumption are lacking.In this study,a conventional LaB_(6)hollow cathode made with iodine-resistant materials was designed and tested in an iodine-compatible vacuum facility.The ignition characteristics,the V-I(Volt-Ampere characteristic)curve,and long steady-state discharge sequence of the iodine hollow cathode were analyzed and compared with those using a krypton propellant.After the experiment,the composition of the cathode emitter was studied by scanning electron microscope and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS).The results show that ignition takes>10 s to reach a steady state,and the discharge voltage of the iodine was 25-95 V higher than that of krypton.According to the EDS results,this was mainly caused by emitter contamination with iron from the stainless-steel components of the cathode and oxygen from the iodine feed system.The iodine hollow cathode achieved a cumulative 12.5 h stable discharge,with the longest single discharge of 5 h and a 3%change in the inner diameter of the emitter. 展开更多
