Method: If the HCG levels during the late pregnancy were related to the delivery mechanism was studied by using the β -HCG changes of 100 women pregnant for 36 weeks, 37 weeks, 38 weeks, 39 weeks, 40 weeks, and 41 weeks, and also the [3 -HCG changes when their uterine orifice was opened for 3cm near the time of labor as the clinical data. All these cases were found to suffer no clinical complications. Result: The difference in HCG changes during the late pregnancy was of no statistical significance (P〉0.05). Conclusion: The β-HCG levels change during the late pregnancy is not significantly correlated with the labor onset time, and the labor onset time is unpredictable with the monitoring of the HCG levels change during the late pregnancy.展开更多

The viral proteinaseL^(rop) of FMDV is involved in pathogenicity, and mutation of theL^(rop) SAP domain reduces FMDV pathogenicity in pigs. To determine the gene expression profiles associated with decreased pathogenicity in porcine cells, we performed transcriptome analysis using next-generation sequencing technology and compared differentially expressed genes in SK6 cells infected with FMDV containingL^(rop) with either a wild-type or mutated version of the SAP domain. This analysis yielded 1,853 genes that exhibited a ≥ 2-fold change in expression and was validated by real-time quantitative PCR detection of several differentially expressed genes. Many of the differentially expressed genes correlated with antiviral responses corresponded to genes associated with transcription factors, immune regulation, cytokine production, inflammatory response, and apoptosis. Alterations in gene expression profiles may be responsible for the variations in pathogenicity observed between the two FMDV variants. Our results provided genes of interest for the further study of antiviral pathways and pathogenic mechanisms related to FMDV L^(rop).展开更多

This study aims to improve the capacity and cycling stability of amorphous Co-B alloy nanoparticles grown on conductive graphene sheets. The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. As electrode materials for pseudocapacitors, the amorphous Co-B alloy grown on graphene oxide (Co-B@GO) exhibits a high specific capacitance of 460 F g-1, which is nearly 1.5 times greater than that of bare Co-B nanoparticles at 1 A g-l, The specific capacitance preserved 84% of the initial capacitance even after 1000 cycles at a scan rate of 10 m V-1, suggesting its promising po- tential as pseudocapacitor materials.展开更多

In traditional analysis,enterprises'performance evaluation largely depends on profits indices,which results in the public companies'strong pursuit of accounting profits and neglect of net cash flow.It is of gr...In traditional analysis,enterprises'performance evaluation largely depends on profits indices,which results in the public companies'strong pursuit of accounting profits and neglect of net cash flow.It is of great significance to study this phenomenon in public companies for it can help to evaluate their profitability correctly.By making an empirical research on the status quo of the medical public companies'accounting profits,net cash flow,receivable and prepaid items,it is found that the phenomenon that the current accounting profits and net cash flow are inconsistent universally exists in the public companies;the current growth rates of accounts receivable,notes receivable,other accounts receivable and accounts prepaid in the companies which the phenomenon exists in are higher than those in other companies and the industrial average,especially for the latter two items;this phenomenon in economically developed areas is more obvious than in other areas.How to avoid the contradiction of accounting profits and net cash flow in the public companies?Firstly,the credit risk awareness and management should be strengthened.Secondly,cash budget management should be enhanced.Finally,the index system of evaluation of the public companies'operating performance should be improved.展开更多
Introduction:Aeromonas is widely distributed in aquatic environments.This study describes the pathogenic characteristics of Aeromonas isolated from adult diarrhea patients and aquatic environments in Beijing,China.Met...Introduction:Aeromonas is widely distributed in aquatic environments.This study describes the pathogenic characteristics of Aeromonas isolated from adult diarrhea patients and aquatic environments in Beijing,China.Methods:Aeromonas isolates from patients with diarrhea and river water samples were assessed using whole-genome sequencing(WGS)and antibiotic resistance profiling.Results:In total,38 Aeromonas isolates were collected.Among these,13 isolates were from patients with common clinical symptoms,including diarrhea,abdominal pain,and nausea.Four of 13 Aeromonaspositive patients were co-infected with other intestinal pathogens.Patient-derived Aeromonas isolates showed high resistance to ampicillin,ampicillin-sulbactam,nalidixic acid,and tetracycline,whereas water-derived isolates showed high resistance to ampicillin,ampicillin-sulbactam,and nalidixic acid.Phylogenetic analysis revealed seven independent branches,without significant clustering among patient-and water-derived isolates.Conclusions:This study provides valuable insights into the prevalence and characteristics of Aeromonas.The intertwined distribution of patient-and waterderived isolates in the phylogenetic tree deserves attention.展开更多
Introduction:Salmonella 4,[5],12:i:-,a globally emerging pathogen with multidrug resistance(MDR),is spreading in China.Nationwide data on the antimicrobial resistance(AMR)and genomic characteristics of Salmonella 4,[5...Introduction:Salmonella 4,[5],12:i:-,a globally emerging pathogen with multidrug resistance(MDR),is spreading in China.Nationwide data on the antimicrobial resistance(AMR)and genomic characteristics of Salmonella 4,[5],12:i:-from human sources in China are scarce.This study aimed to characterize the prevalence,genetic diversity,and AMR profiles of Salmonella 4,[5],12:i:-in China.Methods:All information,including geographical data,antimicrobial susceptibility test results,and whole-genome sequences,was extracted from the Chinese Pathogen Identification Network database from 2017 to 2023.Antimicrobial resistance phenotypes of 2,736 human-derived isolates were determined,and genomic analysis was applied to assess their genetic heterogeneity.Additionally,resistance genes were detected.Results:Salmonella 4,[5],12:i:-strains exhibited varying levels of resistance to the tested antibiotics,with an overall resistance rate of 98.83%,MDR rate of 87.98%,and cefotaxime resistance of 25.91%.An increasing trend was observed for resistance to key antibiotics and AMR determinants from 2020–2023.Whole-genome analysis revealed five clades with high genetic diversity(A–E),with 97.33%belonging to ST34.Clade D carried a significant proportion of ESBL genes.Moreover,we identified 15 meropenemresistant isolates primarily harboring widely distributed plasmids containing multiple resistance genes,including blaNDM-5 and blaOXA-10.Conclusion:Salmonella 4,[5],12:i:-is highly sporadic in China but remains phylogenetically linked to the prevalent MDR clone with a distinct resistance profile worldwide.The emergence of elevated resistance to third-generation cephalosporins and sharp rise in carbapenem resistance,coupled with the detection of plasmid-mediated resistance determinants,suggests the evolution of endemic MDR clones circulating within China.These findings emphasize the need for enhanced surveillance,stricter regulations on antibiotic use in agriculture,comprehensive risk factor surveys,and targeted interventions to prevent outbreaks.展开更多

In this study,an excellent polarization optical crystal LiNa_(5)Mo_(9)O_(30) with wide transmission range and high laser damage threshold was researched in detail.The laser damage threshold of the LiNa_(5)Mo_(9)O_(30)...In this study,an excellent polarization optical crystal LiNa_(5)Mo_(9)O_(30) with wide transmission range and high laser damage threshold was researched in detail.The laser damage threshold of the LiNa_(5)Mo_(9)O_(30) crystal was measured to be 2.64GW/cm^(2),which was the highest among polarized optical crystals.The birefringence in the range of 0.435-5μm was larger than 0.14,while the wedge angle between 31.94°and 32.12°would satisfy the application in this waveband.The extinction ratio of the fabricated prism with the wedge angel of 31.09°was larger than 15,000:1.The results show that the LiNa_(5)Mo_(9)O_(30) prism is an excellent polarization device,especially in the mid-infrared range and high-power applications.展开更多
