BACKGROUND The induced-membrane technique was initially described by Masquelet as an effective treatment for large bone defects,especially those caused by infection.Here,we report a case of chronic osteomyelitis of th...BACKGROUND The induced-membrane technique was initially described by Masquelet as an effective treatment for large bone defects,especially those caused by infection.Here,we report a case of chronic osteomyelitis of the radius associated with a 9 cm bone defect,which was filled with a large allogeneic cortical bone graft from a bone bank.Complete bony union was achieved after 14 months of follow-up.Previous studies have used autogenous bone as the primary bone source for the Masquelet technique;in our case,the exclusive use of allografts is as successful as the use of autologous bone grafts.With the advent of bone banks,it is possible to obtain an unlimited amount of allograft,and the Masquelet technique may be further improved based on this new way of bone grafting.CASE SUMMARY In this study,we reported a case of repair of a long bone defect in a 40-year-old male patient,which was characterized by the utilization of allograft cortical bone combined with the Masquelet technique for the treatment of the patient's long bone defect in the forearm.The patient's results of functional recovery of the forearm were surprising,which further deepens the scope of application of Masquelet technique and helps to strengthen the efficacy of Masquelet technique in the treatment of long bones indeed.CONCLUSION Allograft cortical bone combined with the Masquelet technique provides a new method of treatment to large bone defect.展开更多
Simultaneous nitrification and denitrification(SND)is an efficient method to remove nitrogen in municipal wastewater treatment.However,low dissolved oxygen(DO)concentrations are generally required,leading to serious m...Simultaneous nitrification and denitrification(SND)is an efficient method to remove nitrogen in municipal wastewater treatment.However,low dissolved oxygen(DO)concentrations are generally required,leading to serious membrane fouling in membrane bioreactors(MBRs).This study aimed to clarify the synergistic effect of biomass and DO on nitrogen removal and membrane fouling.To achieve this goal,four submerged MBRs equipped with ceramic membranes were operated with different biomass(mixed liquor suspended solids(MLSS))concentrations(3000 mg/L,5000 mg/L,7500 mg/L,and 12000 mg/L)under various DO concentrations(2.0 mg/L,1.0 mg/L,and 0.5 mg/L).As a result,increasing biomass in the MBRs enhanced total nitrogen(TN)removal via SND,and excellent TN removal efficiencies of 60.7%and 75.8%were obtained using the MBR with an MLSS concentration of 12000 mg/L and DO concentrations of 2.0 mg/L and 1.0 mg/L.However,a further decrease in DO deteriorated TN removal due to the inhibition of nitrification.Moreover,high MLSS concentrations were beneficial to membrane fouling control for ceramic membranes in MBRs.The lowest transmembrane pressure development rate was observed for the MBR with an MLSS concentration of 12000 mg/L.High biomass offset the adverse effect of DO decrease on membrane fouling to some extent,and improved the stability of the reactor.Therefore,biomass might be an important parameter for membrane fouling reduction in ceramic MBRs.Overall,optimal biomass and DO concentrations for TN removal were identified,providing useful information for the successful operation of MBRs with efficient TN removal and membrane fouling control.展开更多

At present, there is still a lack of effective clinical treatment. This study, therefore, aims at exploring moist exposed burn therapy/moist exposed burn ointment (MEBT/MEBO) combined with Zhuang medicine detoxification in the treatment of chronic refractory wound healing. <strong>Methodology: </strong>100 SPF Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank control group, model control group, MEBO group, Zhuang medicine group and Combined group, with 20 rats in each group. Open wound model was established in blank control group, and chronic refractory wound model was established in other groups. Black control group and model control group were given food and water freely, MEBO group was given dressing change once a day, Zhuang medicine group was given intragastric administration once a day, and combined group was given dressing change and intragastric administration once a day. The effective rate of wound healing was observed after 12 days of continuous intervention. <strong>Conclusion: </strong>Skin regeneration medical technique combined with Zhuang medicine poison theory can effectively reduce the symptoms of bleeding and exudation, reduce the area of wound, shorten the healing time of wound, and achieve physiological healing of wound. However, the current implement...Multifunctional photodetectors boost the development of traditional optical communication technology and emerging artificial intelligence fields, such as robotics and autonomous driving. However, the current implementation of multifunctional detectors is based on the physical combination of optical lenses, gratings, and multiple photodetectors, the large size and its complex structure hinder the miniaturization, lightweight, and integration of devices. In contrast, perovskite materials have achieved remarkable progress in the field of multifunctional photodetectors due to their diverse crystal structures, simple morphology manipulation, and excellent optoelectronic properties. In this review, we first overview the crystal structures and morphology manipulation techniques of perovskite materials and then summarize the working mechanism and performance parameters of multifunctional photodetectors. Furthermore, the fabrication strategies of multifunctional perovskite photodetectors and their advancements are highlighted, including polarized light detection, spectral detection, angle-sensing detection, and selfpowered detection. Finally, the existing problems of multifunctional detectors and the perspectives of their future development are presented.展开更多

This paper formulates a new CBM optimization problem for continuously monitored degrading systems considering imperfect maintenance actions. In terms of maintenance actions,in practice, they scarcely restore the system to an as-good-as new state due to residual damage. According to up-to-data researches, imperfect maintenance actions are likely to speed up the degradation process. Regarding the developed CBM optimization strategy, it can balance the maintenance cost and the availability by the searching the optimal preventive maintenance threshold.The maximum number of maintenance is also considered, which is regarded as an availability constraint in the CBM optimization problem. A numerical example is introduced, and experimental results can demonstrate the novelty, feasibility and flexibility of the proposed CBM optimization strategy.展开更多
Orthodontically induced tooth root resorption(OIRR)is a serious complication during orthodontic treatment.Stimulating cementum repair is the fundamental approach for the treatment of OIRR.Parathyroid hormone(PTH)might...Orthodontically induced tooth root resorption(OIRR)is a serious complication during orthodontic treatment.Stimulating cementum repair is the fundamental approach for the treatment of OIRR.Parathyroid hormone(PTH)might be a potential therapeutic agent for OIRR,but its effects still lack direct evidence,and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.This study aims to explore the potential involvement of long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)in mediating the anabolic effects of intermittent PTH and contributing to cementum repair,as identifying lncRNA-disease associations can provide valuable insights for disease diagnosis and treatment.Here,we showed that intermittent PTH regulates cell proliferation and mineralization in immortalized murine cementoblast OCCM-30 via the regulation of the Wnt pathway.In vivo,daily administration of PTH is sufficient to accelerate root regeneration by locally inhibiting Wnt/β-catenin signaling.Through RNA microarray analysis,lncRNA LITTIP(LGR6 intergenic transcript under intermittent PTH)is identified as a key regulator of cementogenesis under intermittent PTH.Chromatin isolation by RNA purification(ChIRP)and RNA immunoprecipitation(RIP)assays revealed that LITTIP binds to mRNA of leucine-rich repeatcontaining G-protein coupled receptor 6(LGR6)and heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K(HnRNPK)protein.Further cotransfection experiments confirmed that LITTIP plays a structural role in the formation of the LITTIP/Lgr6/HnRNPK complex.Moreover,LITTIP is able to promote the expression of LGR6 via the RNA-binding protein HnRNPK.Collectively,our results indicate that the intermittent PTH administration accelerates root regeneration via inhibiting Wnt pathway.The lncRNA LITTIP is identified to negatively regulate cementogenesis,which activates Wnt/β-catenin signaling via high expression of LGR6 promoted by HnRNPK.展开更多
Human adipose-derived stem cells(hASCs)are a promising cell type for bone tissue regeneration.Circular RNAs(circRNAs)have been shown to play a critical role in regulating various cell differentiation and involve in me...Human adipose-derived stem cells(hASCs)are a promising cell type for bone tissue regeneration.Circular RNAs(circRNAs)have been shown to play a critical role in regulating various cell differentiation and involve in mesenchymal stem cell osteogenesis.However,how circRNAs regulate hASCs in osteogenesis is still unclear.Herein,we found circ_0003204 was significantly downregulated during osteogenic differentiation of hASCs.Knockdown of circ_0003204 by si RNA or overexpression by lentivirus confirmed circ_0003204 could negatively regulate the osteogenic differentiation of hASCs.We performed dual-luciferase reporting assay and rescue experiments to verify circ_0003204 regulated osteogenic differentiation via sponging miR-370-3p.We predicted and confirmed that miR-370-3p had targets in the 3′-UTR of HDAC4 m RNA.The following rescue experiments indicated that circ_0003204 regulated the osteogenic differentiation of hASCs via miR-370-3p/HDAC4 axis.Subsequent in vivo experiments showed the silencing of circ_0003204 increased the bone formation and promoted the expression of osteogenic-related proteins in a mouse bone defect model,while overexpression of circ_0003204 inhibited bone defect repair.Our findings indicated that circ_0003204 might be a promising target to promote the efficacy of hASCs in repairing bone defects.展开更多
Objective:To discuss the relationship of ultrasonic shear wave velocity (SWV) with oncogene and tumor suppressor gene expression in primary liver cancer lesions as well as angiogenesis factor contents.Methods:100 pati...Objective:To discuss the relationship of ultrasonic shear wave velocity (SWV) with oncogene and tumor suppressor gene expression in primary liver cancer lesions as well as angiogenesis factor contents.Methods:100 patients with primary liver cancer who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital between March 2014 and September 2016 were collected as observation group, and 50 healthy subjects who received physical examination in our hospital during the same period were collected as normal control group. The ultrasonic SWV levels of two groups of subjects were measured before the operation, and the observation groups were further divided into high SWV group and low SWV group, 50 cases in each group. Intraoperative tumor tissue samples were kept and fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to determine the mRNA expression of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to determine serum contents of angiogenesis factors in observation group before operation.Results:Hepatic ultrasonic SWV level in observation group was significantly higher than that in normal control group;proto-oncogene CK, Ki67, Gly-3, Survivin and Pokemon mRNA expression in tumor tissue of high SWV group were higher than those of low SWV group while tumor suppressor genes Tg737, p16, p27, PTEN and runx3 mRNA expression were lower than those of low SWV group;serum angiogenesis factors VEGF, MMP-9 and IGF-1R contents were higher than those in low SWV group. Conclusion: The hepatic ultrasonic SWV level increases in patients with primary liver cancer, and the SWV level is directly correlated with oncogene and tumor suppressor gene expression as well as angiogenesis factor contents.展开更多

The normal group and model group were given external deposited normal saline external application. MEBO group used MEBT/MEBO. Choerospondias group was given external deposited choerospondias axillaris bark water decoction external application. Detected cell ultrastructure, PTEN、VEGF mRNA after 12 d.Results: The organelle structure in MEBO group and choerospondias group were restored. In 12 d, PTEN in MEBO group and choerospondias group were lower, VEGF were higher than 1 d (P<0.05). PTEN in MEBO group and choerospondias group were lower, VEGF were higher than model group (P<0.05). MEBO group had no difference with choerospondias group (P>0.05). Conclusion: Choerospondias axillaris bark water decoction could remarkably improve the cell ultrastructure in chronic wounds, regulate the PTEN signal conduction effect, and promote wound healing.展开更多

Background:SIBP04 is a biosimilar of bevacizumab(Avastin■,Roche,Basel,Switzerland).This study evaluated the equivalence of SIBP04 to Avastin■as first-line treatment for locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous no...Background:SIBP04 is a biosimilar of bevacizumab(Avastin■,Roche,Basel,Switzerland).This study evaluated the equivalence of SIBP04 to Avastin■as first-line treatment for locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous non-small-cell lung cancer(nsqNSCLC).Methods:In this randomized,double-blind,multi-center,phase 3 trial,we recruited patients with locally advanced or metastatic nsqNSCLC from 58 hospitals at China.Patients were randomly allocated 1:1 to receive SIBP04 or Avastin■(15 mg/kg)combined with paclitaxel(175 mg/m^(2))and carboplatin(area under curve[AUC]=5.0,no more than 800 mg)(PC)regimens intravenously(3-week cycles,up to six cycles)followed by SIBP04 maintenance therapy.The primary endpoint was objective response rate(ORR),defined as the best overall response from the first dose to the 18th week,assessed by the independent review committee(IRC)according to the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(RECIST)version 1.1.Clinical equivalence of the primary endpoint was done by comparing the two-sided 90%confidence interval(CI)of the ORR ratio(SIBP04 plus PC vs.Avastin■plus PC)in the per-protocol set(PPS)populaiton with the prespecified equivalence margin of 0.75–1.33.Secondary endpoints included progression-free survival,overall survival,duration of response,disease control rate,safety,immunogenicity,and pharmacological bioequivalence of steady-state trough concentrations.Results:From April 17,2020,to April 20,2021,517 patients were randomly assigned to receive SIBP04 plus PC(n=259)or Avastin■plus PC(n=258).The ORR of the SIBP04 plus PC group was 55.6%(95%CI,49.3–61.8)and that of the Avastin■plus PC group was 59.3%(95%CI,53.0–65.4)in the full analysis set(FAS)population(P=0.3944).The ORR of the SIBP04 plus PC group was 62.6%(95%CI,55.8–69.0)and that of the Avastin■plus PC group was 64.7%(95%CI,58.0–71.0)in the PPS population(P=0.6448).The ORR ratio(SIBP04 plus PC vs.Avastin■plus PC)was 0.94(90%CI,0.8270–1.0621)in the FAS population and 0.97(90%CI,0.8578–1.0900)in the PPS population,respectively,both within the prespecified equivalence margin of 0.75–1.33.Other efficacy endpoints,safety,immunogenicity,and pharmacokinetics were all comparable across the groups.Conclusions:SIBP04 showed equivalent efficacy and safety profile to Avastin■in patients with locally advanced or metastatic nsqNSCLC.SIBP04 plus PC regimen will offer an alternative first-line treatment option for this patient population.展开更多
Platelets are vital in many pathophysiological processes,yet there is a lack of a comprehensive resource dedicated specifically to platelet research.To fill this gap,we have developed PlateletBase,a knowledge base aim...Platelets are vital in many pathophysiological processes,yet there is a lack of a comprehensive resource dedicated specifically to platelet research.To fill this gap,we have developed PlateletBase,a knowledge base aimed at enhancing the understanding and study of platelets and related diseases.Our team retrieved information from various public databases,specifically extracting and analyzing RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)data from 3711 samples across 41 different conditions available on the National Center for Biotechnology Information(NCBI).PlateletBase offers six analytical and visualization tools,enabling users to perform gene similarity analysis,pair correlation,multi-correlation,expression ranking,clinical information association,and gene annotation for platelets.The current version of PlateletBase includes 10,278 genomic entries,31,758 transcriptomic entries,4869 proteomic entries,2614 omics knowledge entries,1833 drugs,97 platelet resources,438 diseases/traits,and six analysis modules.Each entry has been carefully curated and supported by experimental evidence.Additionally,PlateletBase features a user-friendly interface designed for efficient querying,manipulation,browsing,visualization,and analysis of detailed platelet protein and gene information.The case studies on gray platelet syndrome and angina pectoris demonstrate that PlateletBase is a suitable tool for identifying diagnostic biomarkers and exploring disease mechanisms,thereby advancing research in platelet functionality.PlateletBase is accessible at http://plateletbase.clinlabomics.org.cn/.展开更多

文摘Simultaneous nitrification and denitrification(SND)is an efficient method to remove nitrogen in municipal wastewater treatment.However,low dissolved oxygen(DO)concentrations are generally required,leading to serious membrane fouling in membrane bioreactors(MBRs).This study aimed to clarify the synergistic effect of biomass and DO on nitrogen removal and membrane fouling.To achieve this goal,four submerged MBRs equipped with ceramic membranes were operated with different biomass(mixed liquor suspended solids(MLSS))concentrations(3000 mg/L,5000 mg/L,7500 mg/L,and 12000 mg/L)under various DO concentrations(2.0 mg/L,1.0 mg/L,and 0.5 mg/L).As a result,increasing biomass in the MBRs enhanced total nitrogen(TN)removal via SND,and excellent TN removal efficiencies of 60.7%and 75.8%were obtained using the MBR with an MLSS concentration of 12000 mg/L and DO concentrations of 2.0 mg/L and 1.0 mg/L.However,a further decrease in DO deteriorated TN removal due to the inhibition of nitrification.Moreover,high MLSS concentrations were beneficial to membrane fouling control for ceramic membranes in MBRs.The lowest transmembrane pressure development rate was observed for the MBR with an MLSS concentration of 12000 mg/L.High biomass offset the adverse effect of DO decrease on membrane fouling to some extent,and improved the stability of the reactor.Therefore,biomass might be an important parameter for membrane fouling reduction in ceramic MBRs.Overall,optimal biomass and DO concentrations for TN removal were identified,providing useful information for the successful operation of MBRs with efficient TN removal and membrane fouling control.
文摘<strong>Background: </strong>This is still a public problem that needs to be solved urgently: chronic and refractory wound healing with long course and complex pathological mechanism. At present, there is still a lack of effective clinical treatment. This study, therefore, aims at exploring moist exposed burn therapy/moist exposed burn ointment (MEBT/MEBO) combined with Zhuang medicine detoxification in the treatment of chronic refractory wound healing. <strong>Methodology: </strong>100 SPF Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank control group, model control group, MEBO group, Zhuang medicine group and Combined group, with 20 rats in each group. Open wound model was established in blank control group, and chronic refractory wound model was established in other groups. Black control group and model control group were given food and water freely, MEBO group was given dressing change once a day, Zhuang medicine group was given intragastric administration once a day, and combined group was given dressing change and intragastric administration once a day. The effective rate of wound healing was observed after 12 days of continuous intervention. <strong>Conclusion: </strong>Skin regeneration medical technique combined with Zhuang medicine poison theory can effectively reduce the symptoms of bleeding and exudation, reduce the area of wound, shorten the healing time of wound, and achieve physiological healing of wound. It has a good effect on chronic refractory wound.

文摘Autophagy is an evolutionarily conserved intracellular process,in which domestic cellular components are selectively digested for the recycling of nutrients and energy.This process is indispensable for cell homeostasis maintenance and stress responses.Both genetic and functional studies have demonstrated that multiple proteins involved in autophagic activities are critical to the survival,differentiation,and functioning of bone cells,including osteoblasts,osteocytes,and osteoclasts.Dysregulation at the level of autophagic activity consequently disturbs the balance between bone formation and bone resorption and mediates the onset and progression of multiple bone diseases,including osteoporosis.This review aims to introduce the topic of autophagy,summarize the understanding of its relevance in bone physiology,and discuss its role in the onset of osteoporosis and therapeutic potential.

文摘Multifunctional photodetectors boost the development of traditional optical communication technology and emerging artificial intelligence fields, such as robotics and autonomous driving. However, the current implementation of multifunctional detectors is based on the physical combination of optical lenses, gratings, and multiple photodetectors, the large size and its complex structure hinder the miniaturization, lightweight, and integration of devices. In contrast, perovskite materials have achieved remarkable progress in the field of multifunctional photodetectors due to their diverse crystal structures, simple morphology manipulation, and excellent optoelectronic properties. In this review, we first overview the crystal structures and morphology manipulation techniques of perovskite materials and then summarize the working mechanism and performance parameters of multifunctional photodetectors. Furthermore, the fabrication strategies of multifunctional perovskite photodetectors and their advancements are highlighted, including polarized light detection, spectral detection, angle-sensing detection, and selfpowered detection. Finally, the existing problems of multifunctional detectors and the perspectives of their future development are presented.

文摘Condition-based maintenance(CBM) is receiving increasing attention in various engineering systems because of its effectiveness. This paper formulates a new CBM optimization problem for continuously monitored degrading systems considering imperfect maintenance actions. In terms of maintenance actions,in practice, they scarcely restore the system to an as-good-as new state due to residual damage. According to up-to-data researches, imperfect maintenance actions are likely to speed up the degradation process. Regarding the developed CBM optimization strategy, it can balance the maintenance cost and the availability by the searching the optimal preventive maintenance threshold.The maximum number of maintenance is also considered, which is regarded as an availability constraint in the CBM optimization problem. A numerical example is introduced, and experimental results can demonstrate the novelty, feasibility and flexibility of the proposed CBM optimization strategy.

文摘Orthodontically induced tooth root resorption(OIRR)is a serious complication during orthodontic treatment.Stimulating cementum repair is the fundamental approach for the treatment of OIRR.Parathyroid hormone(PTH)might be a potential therapeutic agent for OIRR,but its effects still lack direct evidence,and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.This study aims to explore the potential involvement of long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)in mediating the anabolic effects of intermittent PTH and contributing to cementum repair,as identifying lncRNA-disease associations can provide valuable insights for disease diagnosis and treatment.Here,we showed that intermittent PTH regulates cell proliferation and mineralization in immortalized murine cementoblast OCCM-30 via the regulation of the Wnt pathway.In vivo,daily administration of PTH is sufficient to accelerate root regeneration by locally inhibiting Wnt/β-catenin signaling.Through RNA microarray analysis,lncRNA LITTIP(LGR6 intergenic transcript under intermittent PTH)is identified as a key regulator of cementogenesis under intermittent PTH.Chromatin isolation by RNA purification(ChIRP)and RNA immunoprecipitation(RIP)assays revealed that LITTIP binds to mRNA of leucine-rich repeatcontaining G-protein coupled receptor 6(LGR6)and heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K(HnRNPK)protein.Further cotransfection experiments confirmed that LITTIP plays a structural role in the formation of the LITTIP/Lgr6/HnRNPK complex.Moreover,LITTIP is able to promote the expression of LGR6 via the RNA-binding protein HnRNPK.Collectively,our results indicate that the intermittent PTH administration accelerates root regeneration via inhibiting Wnt pathway.The lncRNA LITTIP is identified to negatively regulate cementogenesis,which activates Wnt/β-catenin signaling via high expression of LGR6 promoted by HnRNPK.

文摘Human adipose-derived stem cells(hASCs)are a promising cell type for bone tissue regeneration.Circular RNAs(circRNAs)have been shown to play a critical role in regulating various cell differentiation and involve in mesenchymal stem cell osteogenesis.However,how circRNAs regulate hASCs in osteogenesis is still unclear.Herein,we found circ_0003204 was significantly downregulated during osteogenic differentiation of hASCs.Knockdown of circ_0003204 by si RNA or overexpression by lentivirus confirmed circ_0003204 could negatively regulate the osteogenic differentiation of hASCs.We performed dual-luciferase reporting assay and rescue experiments to verify circ_0003204 regulated osteogenic differentiation via sponging miR-370-3p.We predicted and confirmed that miR-370-3p had targets in the 3′-UTR of HDAC4 m RNA.The following rescue experiments indicated that circ_0003204 regulated the osteogenic differentiation of hASCs via miR-370-3p/HDAC4 axis.Subsequent in vivo experiments showed the silencing of circ_0003204 increased the bone formation and promoted the expression of osteogenic-related proteins in a mouse bone defect model,while overexpression of circ_0003204 inhibited bone defect repair.Our findings indicated that circ_0003204 might be a promising target to promote the efficacy of hASCs in repairing bone defects.

文摘Objective:To discuss the relationship of ultrasonic shear wave velocity (SWV) with oncogene and tumor suppressor gene expression in primary liver cancer lesions as well as angiogenesis factor contents.Methods:100 patients with primary liver cancer who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital between March 2014 and September 2016 were collected as observation group, and 50 healthy subjects who received physical examination in our hospital during the same period were collected as normal control group. The ultrasonic SWV levels of two groups of subjects were measured before the operation, and the observation groups were further divided into high SWV group and low SWV group, 50 cases in each group. Intraoperative tumor tissue samples were kept and fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to determine the mRNA expression of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to determine serum contents of angiogenesis factors in observation group before operation.Results:Hepatic ultrasonic SWV level in observation group was significantly higher than that in normal control group;proto-oncogene CK, Ki67, Gly-3, Survivin and Pokemon mRNA expression in tumor tissue of high SWV group were higher than those of low SWV group while tumor suppressor genes Tg737, p16, p27, PTEN and runx3 mRNA expression were lower than those of low SWV group;serum angiogenesis factors VEGF, MMP-9 and IGF-1R contents were higher than those in low SWV group. Conclusion: The hepatic ultrasonic SWV level increases in patients with primary liver cancer, and the SWV level is directly correlated with oncogene and tumor suppressor gene expression as well as angiogenesis factor contents.

文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the effects of milk vetch(Astragalus sinicus)on soil nutrients and microorganisms in paddy fields after returning to the field.[Methods]Three treatments,no fertilization,single application of chemical fertilizers and milk vetch return combined with chemical fertilizers,were set up to determine soil nutrient contents and the quantity of microorganisms,respectively.[Results]The return of milk vetch combined with chemical fertilizers could significantly increase the contents of organic matter and total nitrogen in the paddy soil,while the contents of available potassium and available phosphorus decreased.Milk vetch return combined with chemical fertilizers could significantly increase the quantity of soil microorganisms in the paddy field.[Conclusions]The return of milk vetch can be used as a feasible measure to improve soil fertility.
文摘Objective:To investigate the mechanism of treating chronic wounds in rats by using Zhuang medicine choerospondias axillaris bark.Methods: The whole layer skin defection 40 rats were used and randomly divided into 4 groups: normal group, model group, MEBO group, choerospondias group. The normal group and model group were given external deposited normal saline external application. MEBO group used MEBT/MEBO. Choerospondias group was given external deposited choerospondias axillaris bark water decoction external application. Detected cell ultrastructure, PTEN、VEGF mRNA after 12 d.Results: The organelle structure in MEBO group and choerospondias group were restored. In 12 d, PTEN in MEBO group and choerospondias group were lower, VEGF were higher than 1 d (P<0.05). PTEN in MEBO group and choerospondias group were lower, VEGF were higher than model group (P<0.05). MEBO group had no difference with choerospondias group (P>0.05). Conclusion: Choerospondias axillaris bark water decoction could remarkably improve the cell ultrastructure in chronic wounds, regulate the PTEN signal conduction effect, and promote wound healing.

文摘Background:SIBP04 is a biosimilar of bevacizumab(Avastin■,Roche,Basel,Switzerland).This study evaluated the equivalence of SIBP04 to Avastin■as first-line treatment for locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous non-small-cell lung cancer(nsqNSCLC).Methods:In this randomized,double-blind,multi-center,phase 3 trial,we recruited patients with locally advanced or metastatic nsqNSCLC from 58 hospitals at China.Patients were randomly allocated 1:1 to receive SIBP04 or Avastin■(15 mg/kg)combined with paclitaxel(175 mg/m^(2))and carboplatin(area under curve[AUC]=5.0,no more than 800 mg)(PC)regimens intravenously(3-week cycles,up to six cycles)followed by SIBP04 maintenance therapy.The primary endpoint was objective response rate(ORR),defined as the best overall response from the first dose to the 18th week,assessed by the independent review committee(IRC)according to the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(RECIST)version 1.1.Clinical equivalence of the primary endpoint was done by comparing the two-sided 90%confidence interval(CI)of the ORR ratio(SIBP04 plus PC vs.Avastin■plus PC)in the per-protocol set(PPS)populaiton with the prespecified equivalence margin of 0.75–1.33.Secondary endpoints included progression-free survival,overall survival,duration of response,disease control rate,safety,immunogenicity,and pharmacological bioequivalence of steady-state trough concentrations.Results:From April 17,2020,to April 20,2021,517 patients were randomly assigned to receive SIBP04 plus PC(n=259)or Avastin■plus PC(n=258).The ORR of the SIBP04 plus PC group was 55.6%(95%CI,49.3–61.8)and that of the Avastin■plus PC group was 59.3%(95%CI,53.0–65.4)in the full analysis set(FAS)population(P=0.3944).The ORR of the SIBP04 plus PC group was 62.6%(95%CI,55.8–69.0)and that of the Avastin■plus PC group was 64.7%(95%CI,58.0–71.0)in the PPS population(P=0.6448).The ORR ratio(SIBP04 plus PC vs.Avastin■plus PC)was 0.94(90%CI,0.8270–1.0621)in the FAS population and 0.97(90%CI,0.8578–1.0900)in the PPS population,respectively,both within the prespecified equivalence margin of 0.75–1.33.Other efficacy endpoints,safety,immunogenicity,and pharmacokinetics were all comparable across the groups.Conclusions:SIBP04 showed equivalent efficacy and safety profile to Avastin■in patients with locally advanced or metastatic nsqNSCLC.SIBP04 plus PC regimen will offer an alternative first-line treatment option for this patient population.

文摘Platelets are vital in many pathophysiological processes,yet there is a lack of a comprehensive resource dedicated specifically to platelet research.To fill this gap,we have developed PlateletBase,a knowledge base aimed at enhancing the understanding and study of platelets and related diseases.Our team retrieved information from various public databases,specifically extracting and analyzing RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)data from 3711 samples across 41 different conditions available on the National Center for Biotechnology Information(NCBI).PlateletBase offers six analytical and visualization tools,enabling users to perform gene similarity analysis,pair correlation,multi-correlation,expression ranking,clinical information association,and gene annotation for platelets.The current version of PlateletBase includes 10,278 genomic entries,31,758 transcriptomic entries,4869 proteomic entries,2614 omics knowledge entries,1833 drugs,97 platelet resources,438 diseases/traits,and six analysis modules.Each entry has been carefully curated and supported by experimental evidence.Additionally,PlateletBase features a user-friendly interface designed for efficient querying,manipulation,browsing,visualization,and analysis of detailed platelet protein and gene information.The case studies on gray platelet syndrome and angina pectoris demonstrate that PlateletBase is a suitable tool for identifying diagnostic biomarkers and exploring disease mechanisms,thereby advancing research in platelet functionality.PlateletBase is accessible at http://plateletbase.clinlabomics.org.cn/.
