The Hesar pluton in the northern Urumieh-Dokhtar magmatic arc hosts numerous mafic-microgranular enclaves(MMEs).Whole rock geochemistry,mineral chemistry,zircon U-Pb and Sr-Nd isotopes were measured.It is suggested that the rocks are metaluminous(A/CNK=1.32-1.45),subduction-related I-type calc-alkaline gabbro to diorite with similar mineral assemblages and geochemical signatures.The host rocks yielded an U-Pb crystallization age of 37.3±0.4 Ma for gabbro-diorite.MMEs have relatively low SiO_(2) contents(52.9-56.6 wt%)and high Mg^(#)(49.8-58.7),probably reflecting a mantle-derived origin.Chondrite-and mantle-normalized trace element patterns are characterized by LREE and LILE enrichment,HREE and HFSE depletion with slight negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=0.86-1.03).The host rocks yield(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_(i) ratios of 0.70492-0.70510,positive ε_(Nd)(t)values of+1.55-+2.06 and T_(DM2)of 707-736 Ma,which is consistent with the associated mafic microgranular enclaves((^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_(i)=0.705014,ε_(Nd)(t)=+1.75,T_(DM2)=729 Ma).All data suggest magma-mixing for enclave and host rock formation,showing a complete equilibration between mixed-mafic and felsic magmas,followed by rapid diffusion.The T_(DM1)(Nd)and T_(DM2)(Nd)model ages and U-Pb dating indicate that the host pluton was produced by partial melting of the lower continental crust and subsequent mixing with injected lithospheric mantlederived magmas in a pre-collisional setting of Arabian-Eurasian plates.Clinopyroxene composition indicates a crystallization temperature of~1000℃ and a depth of~9 km. 展开更多

矿床的形成受制于多种复杂的地质作用,包括全球尺度的板块构造运动、岩浆活动、变质沉积改造等过程,并普遍伴随热液活动、流体迁移、水-岩相互作用、元素分异及同位素分馏等一系列局部区域地质和地球化学过程.在过去的矿床学研究中,地... 矿床的形成受制于多种复杂的地质作用,包括全球尺度的板块构造运动、岩浆活动、变质沉积改造等过程,并普遍伴随热液活动、流体迁移、水-岩相互作用、元素分异及同位素分馏等一系列局部区域地质和地球化学过程.在过去的矿床学研究中,地球化学方法主要围绕在主、微量元素和传统的稳定同位素等手段,解决了很多矿床成因问题.但仍存在不少的多解和难解问题,比如许多矿床在矿化类型、蚀变分带与金属矿物组合方面具有诸多相似之处,常规地球化学指标难以区分.随着测试精度的提高和自然储库组成的完善,Li同位素近些年来已成为新兴的稳定同位素体系.Li同位素在自然界过程中高达80‰的同位素分馏使其具有更好的辨识能力,同时兼有直接和间接指示作用,有潜力成为研究各种复杂成矿过程的良好示踪剂.本文总结了近年来有关矿床学中Li同位素的研究和应用进展,以俯冲带成矿为主,阐述了斑岩型-热液矿床、伟晶岩型矿床和沉积矿床等类型矿床的Li同位素地球化学特征,并探究新的Li同位素方法在矿床中的应用前景.基于Li同位素体系在各类矿床的应用实例,我们认为Li同位素体系将为矿床学研究提供更多的指示信息和依据. 展开更多

研究试图利用Li同位素地球化学对太古代海水相关的表生环境过程进行初步的限定.通过对来自南非Kaapvaal克拉通的海相碳酸盐岩样品进行Li同位素分析,发现在3.0~2.9 Ga期间形成的碳酸盐岩δ^(7) Li值为~+1‰,而在2.6~2.5 Ga期间,碳酸盐岩... 研究试图利用Li同位素地球化学对太古代海水相关的表生环境过程进行初步的限定.通过对来自南非Kaapvaal克拉通的海相碳酸盐岩样品进行Li同位素分析,发现在3.0~2.9 Ga期间形成的碳酸盐岩δ^(7) Li值为~+1‰,而在2.6~2.5 Ga期间,碳酸盐岩δ^(7) Li值达到7‰~10‰.经过反演计算得到对应时代的海水Li同位素组成分别为~+12‰和~+20‰,均明显低于现代海水值(~+31‰),但是2.6~2.5 Ga期间的海水δ^(7) Li值要比3.0~2.9 Ga时高出8‰.作为大陆硅酸岩风化的有效示踪剂,太古代海水较低的Li同位素组成表明当时的地表风化以源岩溶解为主,次生矿物形成极少,在3.0~2.5 Ga期间,海水整体温度下降以及次生矿物形成增加可能共同导致了海水δ^(7) Li值的升高.通过对太古代碳酸盐岩的Li同位素研究能够有效反演古海水的Li同位素组成,并为了解太古代表生风化过程对海水的影响提供了新的信息. 展开更多

三叠纪华南俯冲陆壳已经延伸到华北克拉通东南缘的蚌埠地区,而该地区的俯冲陆壳是否经历超高压变质仍存在诸多争议。对华北克拉通东南缘蚌埠地区的侏罗纪花岗岩--荆山岩体中的暗色残留体、主体花岗岩以及细晶岩脉中的白云母进行岩相学... 三叠纪华南俯冲陆壳已经延伸到华北克拉通东南缘的蚌埠地区,而该地区的俯冲陆壳是否经历超高压变质仍存在诸多争议。对华北克拉通东南缘蚌埠地区的侏罗纪花岗岩--荆山岩体中的暗色残留体、主体花岗岩以及细晶岩脉中的白云母进行岩相学观察、电子探针和拉曼光谱分析,结果表明荆山残留体和主体花岗岩中白云母颗粒较大且相对于一般花岗岩中原生的、次生的白云母具有较高的Si、Fe+Mg原子数和较低的Al原子数。拉曼光谱分析结果显示残留体和主体花岗岩中大颗粒白云母也具有相似的铝原子桥氧键(Al,O(br))的拉曼位移(421 cm-1),低于经历超高压的黄镇榴辉岩中多硅白云母的原子数和铝原子桥氧键的拉曼位移,而高于本研究中未经历超高压变质作用的奥地利Spail片岩中的白云母。残留体和花岗岩中大颗粒白云母的主量元素和拉曼位移特征指示其为变质成因的多硅白云母。因此,可以利用多硅白云母地质压力计来指示花岗岩形成的压力,并且确定荆山花岗岩发生部分熔融的压力为1.0~1.3 GPa。荆山花岗岩的源岩为华南深俯冲的陆壳碎片,华南板块俯冲到华北克拉通东南缘的深度为33~45 km,相当于华北克拉通中下地壳深度。 展开更多

Four samples of plagioclase and biotite from the Shaxi porphyry in the lower part of the Yangtze metallogenic belt were analyzed for age determination with the ^40 Ar/^39Ar method. The results yield reproducible ages of 126 Ma to 135 Ma with a high level of confidence according to the agreement between isochron and plateau ages. The four Ar-Ar ages are relatively consistent within the analytical error. These ages are also consistent with, but more precise than, previous K-Ar and Rb-Sr ages and thus provide better constraints on the time of porphyry formation and associated Cu-Au mineralization along the middle to lower part of the Yangtze metallogenic belt. The ages of 126 to 135 Ma are interpreted to represent the intrusive time of the Shaxi porphyry, so that the Cu-Au mineralization should have occurred later due to the post-magmatic hydrothermal event. 展开更多

Subduction zones involve many complex geological processes, including the release of slabderived fluids, fluid/rock interactions, partial melting, isotopic fractionations, elemental transporting, and crust/mantle interactions. Lithium(Li) isotopes(~6Li and ~7Li) have relative mass difference up to 16%, being the largest among metal elements. Thus, Li isotopes have advantage to interprete trace various geological processes. Most importantly, during crust/mantle interactions in deep subduction zones, surface materials and mantle rocks usually have distinct Li isotopic compositions. Li isotopes can be potential tracer for subduction processes, from the onset of subduction to the release of Li from subducted slabs and interaction with mantle wedge, as well as the fate of Li in slab-derived fluids and residual slabs. Moreover, the Li isotopic composition of subducting output materials can provide useful information for understanding global Li circulation. With developments in measurement and expansion of Li isotopic database, Li isotopic geochemistry will provide more inference and be a powerful tracer for understanding subduction-related processes. This work retrospected the application of Li isotopes in tracing successive subduction processes, and made some prospects for further studies of Li isotopes. 展开更多

Primary high-density fluid inclusions were identified in garnet from ultrahigh pressure eclogite in the southern part of the Sulu terrane. They occur isolatedly or in cluster together with relatively low-density two-phase inclu-sions. The eutectic temperature of the inclusions is as low as ≤ -52℃. A bubble was nucleated in a liquid inclusion dur-ing the specific stage of cyclic cooling-heating runs, and the liquid-gas homogenization temperature was measured to be ≤-12.5℃. The composition of the inclusions modeled by the system CaCl2-NaCl-H2O, yields the fluid density of 1.27g/cm3 that corresponds to a pressure of ca. 2.4 GPa at thetemperature of peak eclogite-facies metamorphism, close tothe ultrahigh pressure metamorphic conditions. During theexhumation of the eclogite the inclusions reacted with thehost mineral, forming hydrous silicate minerals that resulted in lowering of the fluid density and its transformation to multi-phase inclusions. 展开更多

Plate subduction is the most magnificent process in the Earth. Subduction zones are important sites for proceeding matter- and energy- transports between the Earth's surface and the interior, continental crust growth, and crust-mantle interactions. Besides, a number of geological processes in subduction zones are closely related to human beings' daily life, such as volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, formation of mineral deposits. Subduction process thus has long been the centric topic of Earth sciences. The finding in 1980 s that continental crust could be subducted to mantle depths is a revolutionary progress in plate tectonic theory. Compared to oceanic crust, continental crust is colder, drier, lighter, and much more geochemically/isotopically heterogeneous. Hence, continental subduction process would affect the structure, compositions and evolutions of the overlying mantle wedge even more. During continental subduction and subsequent exhumation, fluids and melts can be generated in the(de)hydration process and partial melting process, respectively. These melts/fluids play important roles in crust-mantle interactions, elemental migrations, isotopic fractionations, and mantle metasomatism. By summarizing recent research works on subduction zones in this paper, we present a review on the types, physicochemical conditions and compositions of fluids/melts, as well as the migration behaviors of fluid-related characteristic elements(Nb-Ta-V) and the fractionation behaviors of non-traditional stable isotopes(Li-Mg) in subduction zones. The aim of this paper is to provide the readers an update comprehensive overview of the melt/fluid activities in subduction zones and of Li-Mg isotope systematics in subduction-related rocks and minerals. 展开更多
