Compared with those major policies that need to be practiced over the years, the street stall economy is more like a special means after the epidemic, resulting in a“short and brilliant”heat.Nevertheless, the street stall economy revives is facing several dilemmas. This paper reveals the dilemma of the prosperity and development of the stall economy before and after the epidemic, followed by the international experience and enlightenment of promoting the normalization of street stall economy, ranging from street vendor’s legal status and road administrative promotion to street food safety and environmental protection. To sum up,employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood and the source of wealth, hence, stall economy plays an indispensable role to create a win-win working world and promote the formation of a sustainable economic. 展开更多

Earth’s near space, located in the region between 20 and 100 km above sea level,is characterized by extreme conditions, such as low temperature, low atmospheric pressure, harsh radiation, and extreme dryness. These conditions are analogous to those found on the surface of Mars and in the atmosphere of Venus, making Earth’s near space a unique natural laboratory for astrobiological research. To address essential astrobiological questions, teams from the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS)have developed a scientific balloon platform, the CAS Balloon-Borne Astrobiology Platform(CAS-BAP),to study the effects of near space environmental conditions on the biology and survival strategies of representative organisms in this terrestrial analog. Here,we describe the versatile Biological Samples Exposure Payload(BIOSEP)loaded on the CAS-BAP with respect to its structure and function. The primary function of BIOSEP is to expose appropriate biological specimens to the harsh conditions of near space and subsequently return the exposed samples to laboratories for further analysis.Four successful flight missions in near space from 2019 to 2021 have demonstrated the high reliability and efficiency of the payload in communicating between hardware and software units, recording environmental data, exposing sample containers, protecting samples from external contamination, and recovering samples.Understanding the effects of Earth’s near space conditions on biological specimens will provide valuable insights into the survival strategies of organisms in extreme environments and the search for life beyond Earth. The development of BIOSEP and associated biological exposure experiments will enhance our understanding of the potential for life on Mars and the habitability of the atmospheric regions of other planets in the solar system and beyond. 展开更多

Background Multibreed genomic prediction(MBGP)is crucial for improving prediction accuracy for breeds with small populations, for which limited data are often available.Recent studies have demonstrated that partitioning the genome into nonoverlapping blocks to model heterogeneous genetic(co)variance in multitrait models can achieve higher joint prediction accuracy. However, the block partitioning method,a key factor influencing model performance, has not been extensively explored. Results We introduce mbBayesABLD,a novel Bayesian MBGP model that partitions each chromosome into nonoverlapping blocks on the basis of linkage disequilibrium(LD)patterns. In this model, marker effects within each block are assumed to follow normal distributions with block-specific parameters. We employ simulated data as well as empirical datasets from pigs and beans to assess genomic prediction accuracy across different models using cross-validation.The results demonstrate that mbBayesABLD significantly outperforms conventional MBGP models, such as GBLUP and BayesR.For the meat marbling score trait in pigs, compared with GBLUP,which does not account for heterogeneous genetic(co)variance,mbBayesABLD improves the prediction accuracy for the small-population breed Landrace by 15.6%.Furthermore,our findings indicate that a moderate level of similarity in LD patterns between breeds(with an average correlation of 0.6)is sufficient to improve the prediction accuracy of the target breed. Conclusions This study presents a novel LD block-based approach for multibreed genomic prediction. Our work provides a practical tool for livestock breeding programs and offers new insights into leveraging genetic diversity across breeds for improved genomic prediction. 展开更多
