Methods: 44 nursing students in pediatric nursing in our hospital from August 2018 to August 2020 were divided into 22 cases in the control group (traditional teaching) and 22 cases in the research group (humanistic care training method in teaching). The differences in practice effect, humanistic care quality and job satisfaction between the two groups were compared. Results: nursing students in the research group had higher scores in theoretical knowledge, learning enthusiasm, autonomous learning ability, clinical practice, language communication, clinical judgment and thinking ability, innovative thinking ability, teamwork spirit, self-confidence improvement, and clinical adaptability. Nursing students in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05);The nursing students in the research group had higher scores than those in the control group in terms of humanistic care concept, humanistic care knowledge, humanistic care ability, and humanistic care perception, statistical significance (P < 0.05);Nursing students in the research group were 95.45% (21/22) more satisfied with the teaching method than the nursing students in the control group, 72.73% (16/22), and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application of humanistic care in teaching, especially in nursing paediatrics, has a good promotion effect on cultivating the clinical ability and humanistic care quality of nursing students, so as to improve the quality of teaching.展开更多
