Looking back on history, the construction of modern highway tunnels appeared as early as 1927 in the Netherlands guilder tunnel at the bottom of the Hudson River in the United States, with a peak hourly traffic volume of 2,000 vehicles. With the gradual improvement of many tunnel construction technologies, multi-function highway tunnels have been built one after another in various countries. By the end of 2000, there were over 400 ultra-long highway tunnels, which greatly improved the transportation efficiency and played an important role in the efficient use of underground space and the protection of the ecological environment. Therefore, it is very important to actively summarize the experience of highway tunnel construction at home and abroad, analyze the problems of modern highway tunnel construction and explore the development direction of modern highway tunnel. Based on the above, this paper will focus on the application of landslide treatment technology in highway tunnel construction, with a view to promoting the healthy development of Chinas highway industry.展开更多
