A sulfate polysaccharide fraction(PYSP)was extracted and purified through DEAE cellucose-52 and Sephadex G-100 from Porphyra yezoensis.The PYSP is an acidic polysaccharide with a Mw of 152.93 kDa.PYSP was composed of ...A sulfate polysaccharide fraction(PYSP)was extracted and purified through DEAE cellucose-52 and Sephadex G-100 from Porphyra yezoensis.The PYSP is an acidic polysaccharide with a Mw of 152.93 kDa.PYSP was composed of galactose,glucose,and Glc-UA sugars with a molar ratio of 82.38:5.02:12.59.PYSP has an irregular fragmentation structure,with a sulfuric acid group content of 43.93%±0.47%.It suggested that PYSP has effective cholate and cholesterol adsorption capacity,α-glucosidase inhibition activity.When the concentration of PYSP was 1.0 mg/mL,the inhibition rates ofα-glucosidase were 45.02%.PYSP could decreaseα-helix and increaseβ-fold and random curl ofα-glucosidase.In addition,the in vitro hypoglycemic activities of PYSP were dosedependent.PYSP could improve glucose consumption,glycogen synthesis,and pyruvate kinase activity in insulin-resistant HepG2 cells.These results suggested that PYSP is a novel material for functional hypoglycemic foods.展开更多

To obtain robust paper-based generators with outstanding high power outputs, this paper introduced a new type of double- folding paper-based generator by folding two paper components together. The output performance levels of the double-folding generator were twice higher than that of the single-folding and parallel-plate generators. A peak power of-3.24 mW was achieved under a stimulating frequency of 3 Hz. Furthermore, 47 light-emitting diodes (LEDs) were lit directly by a double-folding paper-based generator assembled to the crack of a door that opens and closes. This finding indicated the potential applications of the double-folding generator in the production of door ornaments or for security in places where doors frequently open and close.展开更多
