Biopartitioning micellar chromatography(BMC)is a potentially high throughput and low cost alternative for in vitro prediction of drug absorption,which can mimic the drug partitioning process in biological systems.In t...Biopartitioning micellar chromatography(BMC)is a potentially high throughput and low cost alternative for in vitro prediction of drug absorption,which can mimic the drug partitioning process in biological systems.In this paper,a data set of 56 compounds representing acidic,basic,neutral and amphoteric drugs from various structure classes with human oral absorption(HOA)data available were employed to show the effect of acidity of drugs in oral absorption prediction.HOA was reciprocally correlated to the negative value of the capacity factor(kBMC)determined by BMC at pH 7.4 and 6.5.The relationships between kBMC and the corresponding HOA values of all compounds were rather poor,but the correlations were improved when the acidity of drugs was taken into consideration.Moreover,the proposed models allowed obtaining of good predictive values for both highly and poorly absorbed compounds.It is demonstrated that the constructed models derived from compounds with the same kind of charge property are of more practically meaningful and rigorous.展开更多
Objective:Non-lactating mastitis is a group of benign,non-specific inflammatory diseases of unknown etiology that occur during the non-lactating period in women.Treatment is mainly based on drugs and surgery,but these...Objective:Non-lactating mastitis is a group of benign,non-specific inflammatory diseases of unknown etiology that occur during the non-lactating period in women.Treatment is mainly based on drugs and surgery,but these two treatments have certain limitations and cannot meet the individual needs of patients.In recent years,thermal ablation technology has made significant progress in treating and researching breast diseases,especially in the exploratory thermal ablation treatment of non-lactating mastitis,which has achieved certain efficacy,but it is in the initial stage of development.To standardize the development and clinical practice,we have formu-lated the consensus.Methods:Seventy-three multidisciplinary experts from 48 tertiary-level hospitals carried out this work.The consensus formulation method(Delphi technique)was used to discuss and vote on the latest research advances,and formulated in light of the actual clinical situation in China.Results:Multidisciplinary experts discussed the indications and contraindications of non-lactating mastitis thermal ablation therapy,standardization of intraoperative operation,management of postoperative complica-tions,evaluation of therapeutic efficacy,and follow-up,and finally formed this consensus.Conclusions:Thermal ablation provides a new minimally invasive treatment option for non-lactating mastitis,but it is still in the process of clinical exploration,and prospective high-quality clinical studies with large samples are needed in the future.This consensus was developed to provide a reference for clinicians who are currently practicing this technique,but due to the limited number of cases and units,it will need to be revised and improved in future clinical practice.展开更多
We study the stability of zero-vorticity and vortex lattice quantum droplets(LQDs),which are de-scribed by a two-dimensional(2D)Gross-Pitaevskii(GP)equation with a periodic potential and Lee-Huang-Yang(LHY)term.The LQ...We study the stability of zero-vorticity and vortex lattice quantum droplets(LQDs),which are de-scribed by a two-dimensional(2D)Gross-Pitaevskii(GP)equation with a periodic potential and Lee-Huang-Yang(LHY)term.The LQDs are divided in two types:onsite-centered and offsite-centered LQDs,the centers of which are located at the minimum and the maximum of the potential,respec-tively.The stability areas of these two types of LQDs with diferent number of sites for zero-vorticity and vorticity with S=1 are given.We found that the μ-N relationship of the stable LQDs with a fixed number of sites can violate the Vakhitov-Kolokolov(VK)criterion,which is a necessary stability condition for nonlinear modes with an attractive interaction.Moreover,the μ-N relationship shows that two types of vortex LQDs with the same number of sites are degenerated,while the zero-vorticity LQDs are not degenerated.It is worth mentioning that the offsite-centered LQDs with zero-vorticity and vortex LQDs with S=1 are heterogeneous.展开更多
