Methods： The study subjects were the publications retrieved from the PubMed database using the MeSH terms of ＂Models, Nursing＂. Bibliographic item co-occurrence mining system （BICOMS） software was used for conventional bibliometric analysis of publications during two time periods, 2005-2009 and 2010-2014. The number of published journal articles, journal distribution, authors of publications, country of origin of journals, and language of publications were analyzed to establish a high-frequency keyword profile and co-occurrence matrix. Graphical clustering toolkit （gCLUTO） software was applied for two-way clustering analysis and visualized analysis. Results： A total of 1472 journal articles with a key theme of nursing models were retrieved for final analysis, including 771 published during 2005-2009 and 701 during 2010-2014. The bibliometric analysis revealed that publications other than China concerning nursing models were mostly concentrated in the United States and the United Kingdom and that the number of relevant publications has been continuously decreasing. The two-way clustering analysis showed that there were mainly four types of research themes in the relevant publications in countries other than China during 2005-2009, i.e., nursing education and theoretical research, clinical nursing and psychological care, nursing administration, and models of nursing education, whereas there were five types during 2010-2014, i.e., nursing theories and clinical nursing practice, nursing administration models and assessments of nurses＇ knowledge and skills, community nursing administration models, nursing human resource management, and nursing education models and approaches. Conclusions： Research on nursing models in countries other than China is relatively mature and stable with a broader view, but it has shown a declining trend in recent years. It emphasizes both theory and practice, with research content tending to be structured into four modules, i.e., nursing education, administration, clinical practice, and theoretical research. Community nursing models may become a key research direction in the international research on nursing models in the future.展开更多

Methods： Prepared human WBC-removal whole blood and connected transf...Objective： To observe changes in RBC count, changes, RBC morphology, and serum potassium during compressed transfusion of WBC-removal whole blood. Methods： Prepared human WBC-removal whole blood and connected transfusion apparatus with different sizes of intravenous detaining needles （18G, 20G, 22G and 24G）. Observed RBC count and serum potassium concentration under different pressures （100 mmHg, 200 mmHg, and 300 mmHg） as blood flowed out of the pinhead end of the intravenous detaining needle. Samples obtained with the 20G needle were smeared on glass slides, and RBC morphologic changes were observed under an oil immersion lens. Results： RBC count and serum potassium changed slightly under different pressures with different sizes of intravenous detaining needles as blood flowed through the transfusion apparatus. In addition, the observation of blood samples under a common light microscope revealed that coarse- prick, oblong, and spindle cell counts in the visual fields increased gradually as the pressure increased. Additionally, a portion of cells had undergone splintering. Conclusions： While applying 18G, 20G, 22G and 24G intravenous detaining needles for blood transfusion under less than 300 mmHg of pressure, no significant RBC count change was found in blood samples in the short term. However, there were significant RBC morphologic changes. The results could offer more basis to ensure the clinical safetv of oatients undereoing blood transfilsion.展开更多
Objective: To explore the feasibility of the nurse’ s prescription right in China, to develop the requirements for the qualification of the ap-plicant for the prescription right of nurse, and to determine the content...Objective: To explore the feasibility of the nurse’ s prescription right in China, to develop the requirements for the qualification of the ap-plicant for the prescription right of nurse, and to determine the content of certain prescriptions in the specific circumstances. Methods: Literature review on the relevant articles/material with the contents of the nurse’ s right of prescription home and a-broad. Semi-structured depth interview method was used to interview 18 experts on whether the nurses can participate in the graded nursing decision and whether nurses with certain ability can make the decision. Using the self-made questionnaire“Nur-ses involved in graded nursing decision-recognition questionnaire”, 553 nurses completed questionnaires on willingness to nurse decision-making grading. Using the analytic hierarchy process, the 23 experts’ judgment on the main body of the graded nurs-ing was rated. Using semi-structured depth interview method, 17 experts were interviewed on the graded nursing quality assess-ment and training outline. The form of expert personal judgment and the“grading nursing qualification experts predict question-naire”were used as a preliminary designing tool, 32 experts were asked to predict the graded nursing quality. The relatively im-portant factors that might promote implementation of right of Chinese nurse prescribing weights setting were obtained by analytic hierarchy process. Using Delphi method, 2 rounds of consultation to 291 experts/times were performed, and determined its con-tent on the fields of graded nursing decision, nurses’ job description, decision making nurse in graded nursing work process and related management system, decision-making main body of clinical nursing, nurse authority of prescription application qualifi-cation, clinical nurses, diabetes specialist nurses, tumor specialist nurses, nurses in emergency department, community nurses in certain circumstances writing prescription, and nursing undergraduate added with nurse authority of prescription related courses. Results: The physician is not considered to be the best decision-making main body of clinical nursing work and graded nurs-ing, nurses can participate in the work of decision-making. The qualification of hierarchical decision-making nurse and nurse prescribing applicants have been determined. The hierarchical nursing decision-making nurses’ position description and training outline have been compiled. Experts suggest that clinical nurses with certain qualifications should be given the rights of some prescription form ( independent prescription, prescription, prescription protocol extension) to prescribe specific drugs in high fe-ver, hypoglycemia, hypertension, anaphylactic shock and other 11 specific circumstances. The nurses of the diabetes should be given the right of prescribing sulfonylureas, biguanides, glucosidase inhibitor, and protamine zinc insulin, and the right to write the prescription and consultation for part of medical equipment, health education, and four routine tests, which contains blood sugar monitoring, urine glucose monitoring, glycosylated hemoglobin assay, and oral glucose tolerance test. Tumor specialist nurses should be given the right to write the prescription of 7 specific circumstances including blood routine tests, electrocardio-gram, blood biochemistry and other 9 laboratory tests, constipation, phlebitis, and cancer pain, and the right of 5 tumor emer-gency prescription including chemotherapy drug allergy, hemorrhagic shock, acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Nurses in e-mergency department with certain qualification should be given the right to prescribe specific drugs in 15 circumstances which include cardiac arrest, ventricular fibrillation, and acute cardiogenic chest pain. Community nurses with certain qualification should be given the right to write the prescriptions on 14 contents including disinfection and cleaning, sterile infusion type, and wound care products. Experts suggest that nursing undergraduate education in China should be added with 2 courses which are prescription rights related laws and regulations and nursing intervention, and that pharmacology course should be supplemented with related course in order to adapt to the implementation of nurse prescribing rights. Conclusions: China’ s nurses with certain qualification or after special training have the ability to accept and should be given the right of prescriptions in certain circumstance within the scope of their work.展开更多

A bibliographic co-occurrence analysis system(BICOMB software) was used to perform keyword word frequency analysis and generate a keyword co-occurrence matrix. In addition, Ucinet software's Netdraw tool was used to create visualized network diagrams.Results: A total of 27890 articles were retrieved, and word frequency analysis revealed that the highestfrequency keywords consisted of anxiety, depression, the elderly, expectant women, coronary heart disease, diabetes, breast cancer, perioperative period, quality of life, and psychological intervention.Research hotspot analysis revealed that consistent hotspots comprised anxiety, depression, health education, and perioperative period; expectant women became a hotspot during 2010-2012, and quality of life and efficacy became hotspots during 2013-2015.Conclusions: In addition to the care process, clinical psychological nursing research hotspots in China have increasingly included the effectiveness of psychological nursing and impact on patient quality of life. In addition, research hotspots have been influenced by the incidence of illnesses and people's health consciousness.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the necessary eligibility criteria for prescriptive authority for midwives,gather suggestions from experts on training content for prescriptive authority for midwives,and explore the scope of ...Objective:To investigate the necessary eligibility criteria for prescriptive authority for midwives,gather suggestions from experts on training content for prescriptive authority for midwives,and explore the scope of practice of their prescriptive authority in certain circumstances.The results of this study could serve as a reference for the development of policies on prescriptive authority for midwives.Methods:Based on a literature search and semistructured interviews,a modified Delphi method was first used to conduct 2 rounds of expert consultation on eligibility criteria and training content for prescriptive authority for midwives.This stage included nursing experts(20)and medical experts(16)engaged in midwifery in many tertiary Grade A hospitals in China.Subsequently,consultation on the scope of practice of prescriptive authority for midwives was conducted with nursing experts(18)and medical experts(14)engaged in midwifery in many tertiary Grade A hospitals in China.The suggestions from the experts were analyzed using statistical methods to confirm the eligibility criteria for prescriptive authority,training content,circumstances,scope of practice for prescriptive authority,and the prescription forms.Results:Among the consulted experts,70.59%(the highest acceptance rate)considered an undergraduate degree to be the minimum educational requirement for midwives to be eligible for prescriptive authority,85.29%(the highest acceptance rate)considered the supervisor nurse to be the minimum technical position experience necessary for midwives to be eligible for having prescriptive authority,and 50%(the highest acceptance rate)considered 5 years to be the minimum number of years of experience in the specialty for midwives to be eligible for prescriptive authority.The applicants should at least be practicing at Grade C hospitals,which was the consensus among 91.18%of the consulted experts.Among the consulted experts,100%,100%,97.06%,94.12%,and 94.12%agreed that the applicants should have knowledge in pharmacology,laws and ethics,nursing,diagnostics,and midwifery,respectively.The consulted experts confirmed 22 related course topics and identified 6 specific circumstances in which the midwives could partially practice prescriptive authority,including uterine atony,excessive uterine contraction,postpartum hemorrhage,premature rupture of fetal membranes,normal labor,and neonatal asphyxia.Under these 6 circumstances,the consulted experts commonly agreed that there were 20 medication prescriptions and 13 auxiliary examination prescriptions that could be prescribed by midwives.Of these prescriptions,51.5%were independent prescriptions,30.3%were protocol prescriptions,and the remaining 18.2%were both independent and protocol prescriptions.Conclusions:Midwives who have an undergraduate degree,supervisor nurse position,and 5 years of practice in Grade C hospitals are considered eligible to apply for prescriptive authority.Partial prescriptive authority could be granted after regulated training in fundamental theories and practices,which could improve the independence and professionalism of midwifery.展开更多

The literature displayed a rising trend in terms of annual publication volume. The journal distribution of clinical nursing publications overall was consistent with Bradford's Law. The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2007 and 2009 included:(1) studies on effects of the midwife and midwifery methods for natural childbirth;(2) studies on emergency nursing care;(3)studies on dementia care;(4) studies on bandage dressing in trauma nursing; and(5) studies on quality of life in cancer patients nursing. The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2010 and 2012 included:(1) studies on obstetric nurse-patient relationships;(2) studies on patients' medical team in stroke nursing;(3) studies on cancer nursing methods;(4) studies on nursing patients with trauma related to urinary incontinence; and(5) studies on the quality of life of caregivers of dementia patients.The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2013 and 2015 included(1) studies on skin care and bandaging in trauma nursing;(2) studies on evidence-based nursing in AIDS care;(3) studies on nurses' role in obstetric nurse-patient relationships; studies on cancer nursing methods;(4) studies on nursing for Alzheimer's disease and dementia; and(5) studies on caregivers and nursing of stroke patients. A Wanfang Data search retrieved a total of 85570 publications, whose volume also exhibited an annual rising trend, in particular with regard to those in core journals. However, percentage of total publication volume, mean cited frequency per article, and total ranking of clinical nursing publications overall displayed a decreasing trend. The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2007 and 2009 included:(1) diabetes nursing;(2) nursing for cancer;(3) nursing for senility-related diseases;(4)nursing in the event of complications;(5) nursing for hypertension;(6) studies on quality of life after nursing interventions;(7) chemotherapy nursing;(8) studies on compliance after nursing interventions;(9) constipation nursing; and(10) nursing for stroke patients. By comparison, clinical nursing research in developed countries is in the stable development stage or maturation phase, which is characterized by a flat curve of publication volume and stable development rate. Methods： The Delphi method was used to consult 18 nursing experts and 14 medical experts, A total of 30 experts finished the consulting. The reliability of the expert opinions was analyzed to determine the specific situations in which midwives may write prescriptions, the content of the prescription rights and the prescription types. Results： In six specific circumstances （uterine contraction fatigue, uterine contractions that are too strong, postpartum hemorrhage, premature rupture of the membranes, normal delivery and neonatal asphyxia）, midwives have the right to prescribe and administer medication, including 20 drugs and 13 auxiliary examinations. Of these drugs and examinations, 51.5% of the drugs and adjuvant examination prescriptions tend to be independent prescriptions, 30.3% tend to be protocol prescriptions, and 18.2% are similar to both types. Conclusions： The midwives should be granted some prescription rights to enhance their autonomy and the professionalism of midwifery.展开更多

Results： An evaluation system for the innovativeness of nursing papers was constructed, including 3 primary indexes, 8 secondary indexes, 14 tertiary indexes, and 8 quaternary indexes. The 3 primary indexes with their weights were new argument （0.547）, new evidence （0.345）, and new conclusion （0.109）. Conclusions： The representativeness, the enthusiasm for the study, the degree of authority, the degree of coordination, and the convergence of the experts were high： therefore, an evaluation index system for the innovativeness of nursing papers based on the Delphi method can comprehensively and scientifically evaluate the innovativeness of nursing papers.展开更多
Objective:To review and analyze the basic information and distribution of core articles in the global research frontier of nursing,so as to ascertain the current trend in the field.Methods:A total of 37 highly cited e...Objective:To review and analyze the basic information and distribution of core articles in the global research frontier of nursing,so as to ascertain the current trend in the field.Methods:A total of 37 highly cited essential science indicator(ESI)papers in the nursing discipline were retrieved,which were compared with the core article collection of the ESI research frontier in January 2019 to understand the current nursing research frontiers.Subsequently,a statistical analysis of the core articles that constituted the nursing research frontiers was performed using a bibliometric method.The analysis was conducted with multiple aspects including the number of core articles,total number of citations,average publication year,issuing country,participating institution,citing paper,journal distribution,and core researcher.Results:At present,the two international research frontiers of nursing are patient-centered care(Research Frontier 1)and missed care(Research Frontier 2).These two frontiers include a total of 12 core articles,6 of which are highly cited Web of Scienceindexed nursing papers.Research Frontier 1 includes three core articles that were cited 389 times.Research Frontier 2 includes nine core articles that were cited 841 times.Articles in the two frontiers were cited by 454 and 841 papers,respectively,most of which are in the United States.In addition,the 12 core articles were published across eight journals,the impact factors of which are all relatively high.Lastly,Research Frontier 1 involves 11 authors,whereas Research Frontier 2 involves 49 authors,of which seven authors have published more than two articles.Conclusions:The core articles in the frontier of international nursing research demonstrate distinctive features in their issuing country/region,journal distribution,and participating institution.Review and analysis of the core articles of international nursing research frontiers can help nursing staff understand the current research hotspots and consequently perform corresponding scientific research to promote the development of the nursing discipline.展开更多
Objective:To evaluate the effects of calcium supplementation on bone mineral density in children.Methods:The PubMed,Embase,and Cochrane library were systematically searched.The retrieve inception date was between Octo...Objective:To evaluate the effects of calcium supplementation on bone mineral density in children.Methods:The PubMed,Embase,and Cochrane library were systematically searched.The retrieve inception date was between October 2001 and October 2019.Two reviewers independently performed the data extraction and assessed methodology quality.Studies were limited to randomized clinical trials comparing calcium supplement with a placebo for bone mineral density in children.A meta-analysis was performed to calculate standard mean difference(SMD)and 95%confidence interval(CI).Results:A total of 6 randomized controlled trials involving 408 participants(calcium supplementation group:198;placebo group:210)were finally included in this study.The meta-analysis revealed that,compared with placebos,calcium supplementation had no effect on the bone mineral densities[the whole-body:SMD with CI=0.43(-0.05-0.91),P=0.08,I2=75%;the 2nd-4th lumbar vertebrae:SMD with 95%CI=0.27(−0.17 to 0.70),P=0.07,I2=0%)].Sensitivity analysis revealed that the results of the whole-body bone mineral density were unstable and that the bone density of the 2nd-4th lumbar spine was robust.Conclusions:The results of this meta-analysis suggested that calcium supplementation did not improve bone mineral density in children.However,there continues to be a need for more high-quality studies to verify this fact in the future.展开更多

The bibliometric analysis revealed that publications other than China concerning nursing models were mostly concentrated in the United States and the United Kingdom and that the number of relevant publications has been continuously decreasing. The two-way clustering analysis showed that there were mainly four types of research themes in the relevant publications in countries other than China during 2005-2009, i.e., nursing education and theoretical research, clinical nursing and psychological care, nursing administration, and models of nursing education, whereas there were five types during 2010-2014, i.e., nursing theories and clinical nursing practice, nursing administration models and assessments of nurses＇ knowledge and skills, community nursing administration models, nursing human resource management, and nursing education models and approaches. Conclusions： Research on nursing models in countries other than China is relatively mature and stable with a broader view, but it has shown a declining trend in recent years. It emphasizes both theory and practice, with research content tending to be structured into four modules, i.e., nursing education, administration, clinical practice, and theoretical research. Community nursing models may become a key research direction in the international research on nursing models in the future.

文摘Objective： To observe changes in RBC count, changes, RBC morphology, and serum potassium during compressed transfusion of WBC-removal whole blood. Methods： Prepared human WBC-removal whole blood and connected transfusion apparatus with different sizes of intravenous detaining needles （18G, 20G, 22G and 24G）. Observed RBC count and serum potassium concentration under different pressures （100 mmHg, 200 mmHg, and 300 mmHg） as blood flowed out of the pinhead end of the intravenous detaining needle. Samples obtained with the 20G needle were smeared on glass slides, and RBC morphologic changes were observed under an oil immersion lens. Results： RBC count and serum potassium changed slightly under different pressures with different sizes of intravenous detaining needles as blood flowed through the transfusion apparatus. In addition, the observation of blood samples under a common light microscope revealed that coarse- prick, oblong, and spindle cell counts in the visual fields increased gradually as the pressure increased. Additionally, a portion of cells had undergone splintering. Conclusions： While applying 18G, 20G, 22G and 24G intravenous detaining needles for blood transfusion under less than 300 mmHg of pressure, no significant RBC count change was found in blood samples in the short term. However, there were significant RBC morphologic changes. The results could offer more basis to ensure the clinical safetv of oatients undereoing blood transfilsion.

文摘Objective: To explore the feasibility of the nurse’ s prescription right in China, to develop the requirements for the qualification of the ap-plicant for the prescription right of nurse, and to determine the content of certain prescriptions in the specific circumstances. Methods: Literature review on the relevant articles/material with the contents of the nurse’ s right of prescription home and a-broad. Semi-structured depth interview method was used to interview 18 experts on whether the nurses can participate in the graded nursing decision and whether nurses with certain ability can make the decision. Using the self-made questionnaire“Nur-ses involved in graded nursing decision-recognition questionnaire”, 553 nurses completed questionnaires on willingness to nurse decision-making grading. Using the analytic hierarchy process, the 23 experts’ judgment on the main body of the graded nurs-ing was rated. Using semi-structured depth interview method, 17 experts were interviewed on the graded nursing quality assess-ment and training outline. The form of expert personal judgment and the“grading nursing qualification experts predict question-naire”were used as a preliminary designing tool, 32 experts were asked to predict the graded nursing quality. The relatively im-portant factors that might promote implementation of right of Chinese nurse prescribing weights setting were obtained by analytic hierarchy process. Using Delphi method, 2 rounds of consultation to 291 experts/times were performed, and determined its con-tent on the fields of graded nursing decision, nurses’ job description, decision making nurse in graded nursing work process and related management system, decision-making main body of clinical nursing, nurse authority of prescription application qualifi-cation, clinical nurses, diabetes specialist nurses, tumor specialist nurses, nurses in emergency department, community nurses in certain circumstances writing prescription, and nursing undergraduate added with nurse authority of prescription related courses. Results: The physician is not considered to be the best decision-making main body of clinical nursing work and graded nurs-ing, nurses can participate in the work of decision-making. The qualification of hierarchical decision-making nurse and nurse prescribing applicants have been determined. The hierarchical nursing decision-making nurses’ position description and training outline have been compiled. Experts suggest that clinical nurses with certain qualifications should be given the rights of some prescription form ( independent prescription, prescription, prescription protocol extension) to prescribe specific drugs in high fe-ver, hypoglycemia, hypertension, anaphylactic shock and other 11 specific circumstances. The nurses of the diabetes should be given the right of prescribing sulfonylureas, biguanides, glucosidase inhibitor, and protamine zinc insulin, and the right to write the prescription and consultation for part of medical equipment, health education, and four routine tests, which contains blood sugar monitoring, urine glucose monitoring, glycosylated hemoglobin assay, and oral glucose tolerance test. Tumor specialist nurses should be given the right to write the prescription of 7 specific circumstances including blood routine tests, electrocardio-gram, blood biochemistry and other 9 laboratory tests, constipation, phlebitis, and cancer pain, and the right of 5 tumor emer-gency prescription including chemotherapy drug allergy, hemorrhagic shock, acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Nurses in e-mergency department with certain qualification should be given the right to prescribe specific drugs in 15 circumstances which include cardiac arrest, ventricular fibrillation, and acute cardiogenic chest pain. Community nurses with certain qualification should be given the right to write the prescriptions on 14 contents including disinfection and cleaning, sterile infusion type, and wound care products. Experts suggest that nursing undergraduate education in China should be added with 2 courses which are prescription rights related laws and regulations and nursing intervention, and that pharmacology course should be supplemented with related course in order to adapt to the implementation of nurse prescribing rights. Conclusions: China’ s nurses with certain qualification or after special training have the ability to accept and should be given the right of prescriptions in certain circumstance within the scope of their work.

文摘Objective: To analyze clinical psychological nursing research hotspots in China and variation trends in order to provide reference points on the current state of development of clinical psychological nursing and future research hotspots.Method: Clinical psychological nursing research literature sourced from Wanfang Data for the three periods of 2007-2009, 2010-2012, and 2013-2015 were selected as the research sample. A bibliographic co-occurrence analysis system(BICOMB software) was used to perform keyword word frequency analysis and generate a keyword co-occurrence matrix. In addition, Ucinet software's Netdraw tool was used to create visualized network diagrams.Results: A total of 27890 articles were retrieved, and word frequency analysis revealed that the highestfrequency keywords consisted of anxiety, depression, the elderly, expectant women, coronary heart disease, diabetes, breast cancer, perioperative period, quality of life, and psychological intervention.Research hotspot analysis revealed that consistent hotspots comprised anxiety, depression, health education, and perioperative period; expectant women became a hotspot during 2010-2012, and quality of life and efficacy became hotspots during 2013-2015.Conclusions: In addition to the care process, clinical psychological nursing research hotspots in China have increasingly included the effectiveness of psychological nursing and impact on patient quality of life. In addition, research hotspots have been influenced by the incidence of illnesses and people's health consciousness.

文摘Objective:To investigate the necessary eligibility criteria for prescriptive authority for midwives,gather suggestions from experts on training content for prescriptive authority for midwives,and explore the scope of practice of their prescriptive authority in certain circumstances.The results of this study could serve as a reference for the development of policies on prescriptive authority for midwives.Methods:Based on a literature search and semistructured interviews,a modified Delphi method was first used to conduct 2 rounds of expert consultation on eligibility criteria and training content for prescriptive authority for midwives.This stage included nursing experts(20)and medical experts(16)engaged in midwifery in many tertiary Grade A hospitals in China.Subsequently,consultation on the scope of practice of prescriptive authority for midwives was conducted with nursing experts(18)and medical experts(14)engaged in midwifery in many tertiary Grade A hospitals in China.The suggestions from the experts were analyzed using statistical methods to confirm the eligibility criteria for prescriptive authority,training content,circumstances,scope of practice for prescriptive authority,and the prescription forms.Results:Among the consulted experts,70.59%(the highest acceptance rate)considered an undergraduate degree to be the minimum educational requirement for midwives to be eligible for prescriptive authority,85.29%(the highest acceptance rate)considered the supervisor nurse to be the minimum technical position experience necessary for midwives to be eligible for having prescriptive authority,and 50%(the highest acceptance rate)considered 5 years to be the minimum number of years of experience in the specialty for midwives to be eligible for prescriptive authority.The applicants should at least be practicing at Grade C hospitals,which was the consensus among 91.18%of the consulted experts.Among the consulted experts,100%,100%,97.06%,94.12%,and 94.12%agreed that the applicants should have knowledge in pharmacology,laws and ethics,nursing,diagnostics,and midwifery,respectively.The consulted experts confirmed 22 related course topics and identified 6 specific circumstances in which the midwives could partially practice prescriptive authority,including uterine atony,excessive uterine contraction,postpartum hemorrhage,premature rupture of fetal membranes,normal labor,and neonatal asphyxia.Under these 6 circumstances,the consulted experts commonly agreed that there were 20 medication prescriptions and 13 auxiliary examination prescriptions that could be prescribed by midwives.Of these prescriptions,51.5%were independent prescriptions,30.3%were protocol prescriptions,and the remaining 18.2%were both independent and protocol prescriptions.Conclusions:Midwives who have an undergraduate degree,supervisor nurse position,and 5 years of practice in Grade C hospitals are considered eligible to apply for prescriptive authority.Partial prescriptive authority could be granted after regulated training in fundamental theories and practices,which could improve the independence and professionalism of midwifery.

It uses advanced data mining techniques,digital publishing technologies, and new media concepts to comprehensively integrate and deepen nursing knowledge and to aggregate sources of knowledge in specialized technical fields. This study applies all forms of media and transmission channels, such as personal computers and mobile devices, to establish a knowledge-transmission system that provides knowledge services such as knowledge search, update retrieval, evaluation, questions and answers(Q&As), online viewing, information subscription, expert services, push notifications, review forums, and online learning. In doing so, this study creates an authoritative and foundational knowledge service engine for the nursing field, which provides convenient, flexible, and comprehensive knowledge services to members of the nursing industry in a digital format.

文摘Objective: This study was conducted to understand the trends and research hotspots of clinical nursing in China and abroad, thereby to provide guidance for nursing practice and studies.Methods: We retrieved clinical nursing literature(excluding literature related to psychological nursing and traditional Chinese medicine nursing) cited in Wanfang Data(www.wanfangdata.com.cn) and PubMed between 2007 and 2015 and subsequently performed bibliometric analyses on article volume,journal, clustering of high-frequency keywords, and co-occurrence of keywords.Results: A total of 10374 publications, excluding those related to psychological nursing, were retrieved via a PubMed search. The literature displayed a rising trend in terms of annual publication volume. The journal distribution of clinical nursing publications overall was consistent with Bradford's Law. The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2007 and 2009 included:(1) studies on effects of the midwife and midwifery methods for natural childbirth;(2) studies on emergency nursing care;(3)studies on dementia care;(4) studies on bandage dressing in trauma nursing; and(5) studies on quality of life in cancer patients nursing. The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2010 and 2012 included:(1) studies on obstetric nurse-patient relationships;(2) studies on patients' medical team in stroke nursing;(3) studies on cancer nursing methods;(4) studies on nursing patients with trauma related to urinary incontinence; and(5) studies on the quality of life of caregivers of dementia patients.The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2013 and 2015 included(1) studies on skin care and bandaging in trauma nursing;(2) studies on evidence-based nursing in AIDS care;(3) studies on nurses' role in obstetric nurse-patient relationships; studies on cancer nursing methods;(4) studies on nursing for Alzheimer's disease and dementia; and(5) studies on caregivers and nursing of stroke patients. A Wanfang Data search retrieved a total of 85570 publications, whose volume also exhibited an annual rising trend, in particular with regard to those in core journals. However, percentage of total publication volume, mean cited frequency per article, and total ranking of clinical nursing publications overall displayed a decreasing trend. The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2007 and 2009 included:(1) diabetes nursing;(2) nursing for cancer;(3) nursing for senility-related diseases;(4)nursing in the event of complications;(5) nursing for hypertension;(6) studies on quality of life after nursing interventions;(7) chemotherapy nursing;(8) studies on compliance after nursing interventions;(9) constipation nursing; and(10) nursing for stroke patients. The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2010 and 2012 included:(1) diabetes nursing;(2) nursing for cancer;(3) nursing for senility-related diseases;(4) studies on quality of life after nursing interventions;(5) nursing in the event of complications;(6) nursing for hypertension;(7) prevention nursing;(8) perioperative nursing;(9)pain nursing; and(10) studies on compliance after nursing interventions. The main contents of clinical nursing literature between 2013 and 2015 included:(1) diabetes nursing;(2) nursing in the event of complications;(3) cancer nursing;(4) studies on quality of life after nursing interventions;(5) nursing for stroke patients;(6) nursing for the elderly;(7) studies on compliance after nursing interventions;(8)nursing for hypertension;(9) constipation nursing; and(10) prevention nursing.Conclusions: Clinical nursing research in China is in a rapid development stage as defined by Price's law whereby there is a rapid growth in publication volume. By comparison, clinical nursing research in developed countries is in the stable development stage or maturation phase, which is characterized by a flat curve of publication volume and stable development rate. There is a gap of 25-30 years between China and these countries in terms of the growth phases of clinical nursing literature.

文摘As nursing becomes a first-level discipline, the central focus of the development process of nursing science is the independent exploration of the future path of nursing care. Although many countries have made efforts to develop nursing as an independent discipline, no remarkable advancement has been achieved due to the incorrect understanding of the relationship between nursing and medicine and the improper comprehension of other factors involved in the process of nursing reform. Teaching and practicing nursing also face many problems. Based on our understanding of the relationship between nursing and medicine and through a careful analysis of the existing problems in the current nursing discipline, this paper provides some insights into the future directions of nursing development by exploring the independently developing nursing discipline in foreign countries.
文摘Objective： This study sought to investigate the content of the prescription rights and the prescription types of midwives under certain circumstances in China. Methods： The Delphi method was used to consult 18 nursing experts and 14 medical experts, A total of 30 experts finished the consulting. The reliability of the expert opinions was analyzed to determine the specific situations in which midwives may write prescriptions, the content of the prescription rights and the prescription types. Results： In six specific circumstances （uterine contraction fatigue, uterine contractions that are too strong, postpartum hemorrhage, premature rupture of the membranes, normal delivery and neonatal asphyxia）, midwives have the right to prescribe and administer medication, including 20 drugs and 13 auxiliary examinations. Of these drugs and examinations, 51.5% of the drugs and adjuvant examination prescriptions tend to be independent prescriptions, 30.3% tend to be protocol prescriptions, and 18.2% are similar to both types. Conclusions： The midwives should be granted some prescription rights to enhance their autonomy and the professionalism of midwifery.
文摘Objective： The goal of this study was to construct an evaluation index system for the innovativeness of nursing papers. Methods： A total of 17 nursing experts were consulted for two rounds, and the reliability and weight of the constructed evaluation index system for the innovativeness of nursing papers were determined. Results： An evaluation system for the innovativeness of nursing papers was constructed, including 3 primary indexes, 8 secondary indexes, 14 tertiary indexes, and 8 quaternary indexes. The 3 primary indexes with their weights were new argument （0.547）, new evidence （0.345）, and new conclusion （0.109）. Conclusions： The representativeness, the enthusiasm for the study, the degree of authority, the degree of coordination, and the convergence of the experts were high： therefore, an evaluation index system for the innovativeness of nursing papers based on the Delphi method can comprehensively and scientifically evaluate the innovativeness of nursing papers.
文摘Objective:To review and analyze the basic information and distribution of core articles in the global research frontier of nursing,so as to ascertain the current trend in the field.Methods:A total of 37 highly cited essential science indicator(ESI)papers in the nursing discipline were retrieved,which were compared with the core article collection of the ESI research frontier in January 2019 to understand the current nursing research frontiers.Subsequently,a statistical analysis of the core articles that constituted the nursing research frontiers was performed using a bibliometric method.The analysis was conducted with multiple aspects including the number of core articles,total number of citations,average publication year,issuing country,participating institution,citing paper,journal distribution,and core researcher.Results:At present,the two international research frontiers of nursing are patient-centered care(Research Frontier 1)and missed care(Research Frontier 2).These two frontiers include a total of 12 core articles,6 of which are highly cited Web of Scienceindexed nursing papers.Research Frontier 1 includes three core articles that were cited 389 times.Research Frontier 2 includes nine core articles that were cited 841 times.Articles in the two frontiers were cited by 454 and 841 papers,respectively,most of which are in the United States.In addition,the 12 core articles were published across eight journals,the impact factors of which are all relatively high.Lastly,Research Frontier 1 involves 11 authors,whereas Research Frontier 2 involves 49 authors,of which seven authors have published more than two articles.Conclusions:The core articles in the frontier of international nursing research demonstrate distinctive features in their issuing country/region,journal distribution,and participating institution.Review and analysis of the core articles of international nursing research frontiers can help nursing staff understand the current research hotspots and consequently perform corresponding scientific research to promote the development of the nursing discipline.
文摘Objective:To evaluate the effects of calcium supplementation on bone mineral density in children.Methods:The PubMed,Embase,and Cochrane library were systematically searched.The retrieve inception date was between October 2001 and October 2019.Two reviewers independently performed the data extraction and assessed methodology quality.Studies were limited to randomized clinical trials comparing calcium supplement with a placebo for bone mineral density in children.A meta-analysis was performed to calculate standard mean difference(SMD)and 95%confidence interval(CI).Results:A total of 6 randomized controlled trials involving 408 participants(calcium supplementation group:198;placebo group:210)were finally included in this study.The meta-analysis revealed that,compared with placebos,calcium supplementation had no effect on the bone mineral densities[the whole-body:SMD with CI=0.43(-0.05-0.91),P=0.08,I2=75%;the 2nd-4th lumbar vertebrae:SMD with 95%CI=0.27(−0.17 to 0.70),P=0.07,I2=0%)].Sensitivity analysis revealed that the results of the whole-body bone mineral density were unstable and that the bone density of the 2nd-4th lumbar spine was robust.Conclusions:The results of this meta-analysis suggested that calcium supplementation did not improve bone mineral density in children.However,there continues to be a need for more high-quality studies to verify this fact in the future.
文摘Objectives:To identify the dermatological system drugs that may be prescribed by Chinese dermatological nurses through expert consensus.Methods:A 2-round study,consisting of 32 medical and nursing exper ts,was conducted using the Delphi method from September 2019 to June 2020.Microsoft Excel 2019 and IBM SPSS Ver.22 were used to analyze the results of the consultations.Results:A total of 63 drugs across 13 categories were identified as relevant to Chinese nurses working in dermatological departments.Among these drugs,1 drug was generally prescribed independently,17 drugs tended to be prescribed collaboratively,and 45 were prescribed either independently or in collaboration with others.Conclusions:This exper t consensus determines the prescription drugs that may be prescribed by dermatology nurses in China,which can be used as the key content of prescription drug training for dermatology nurses in future.The results of the study could provide a basis for the implementation of nurses'prescription rights in China in future and provide a reference for the formulation of relevant legislation on nurses'prescription rights.
