AIM:To characterize the distribution of persistent fetal vasculature(PFV)subtypes and to evaluate corneal astigmatism(CA)in children with unilateral PFV.METHODS:The medical records of patients diagnosed with PFV betwe...AIM:To characterize the distribution of persistent fetal vasculature(PFV)subtypes and to evaluate corneal astigmatism(CA)in children with unilateral PFV.METHODS:The medical records of patients diagnosed with PFV between January 2014 and August 2021 were retrospectively reviewed.Corneal keratometry parameters were measured using IOLMaster or a handheld keratometer.Differences in CA between the affected and fellow eyes were analyzed in 52 unilateral PFV patients with available examination data.RESULTS:Totally 133 patients diagnosed with PFV were retrospectively reviewed.The male-to-female ratio was 73/60.Median age at surgery was 38.03mo(interquartile range 58.27mo).Among the PFV patients,32(24.06%)had anterior PFV,2(1.50%)had posterior PFV,and 99(74.44%)had combined anterior-posterior PFV.Mild combined PFV was the most common subtype.In unilateral PFV cases,the mean CA in the affected eye was 2.29±1.11 D,and 59.62%(31 eyes)had CA≥2.0 D.The mean CA in the affected eyes was significantly higher than in the fellow eyes(1.37±0.77 D;P<0.001).Among PFV-affected eyes with CA≥2.0 D,the steepest corneal meridian was vertically oriented in 30 cases(96.77%),while only 1 case(3.23%)had the steepest meridian oriented horizontally.CONCLUSION:In children with unilateral PFV,CA is significantly higher in the affected eyes than in the fellow eyes,and the steepest corneal meridian was predominantly oriented vertically.展开更多
The crevice corrosion of the reinforcing steel in the carbonated simulated concrete pore solutions(SCPSs)containing 0.04 mol/L chloride was investigated.In comparison,the steel without crevice covered on its surface w...The crevice corrosion of the reinforcing steel in the carbonated simulated concrete pore solutions(SCPSs)containing 0.04 mol/L chloride was investigated.In comparison,the steel without crevice covered on its surface was also studied.Results showed that the crevice corrosion in the uncarbonated SCPS was not triggered and the steel remained passivity by suppressing the anodic dissolution in the crevice interior.As SCPS was carbonated to have pH values of 10.5 and 11.5,the crevice corrosion was easier to be activated than the widely reported pitting corrosion owing to the rapid oxygen depletion within the crevice,but the crevice corrosion damage might be alleviated to a certain extent due to the relative compact surface film formed inside the crevice.The further carbonation led to the activation dissolution of both the crevice interior and exterior,causing the more serious corrosion damage.Corrosion process of the crevice corrosion was systematically analyzed by combining the electrochemical measurement results and Evens polarization diagram.展开更多
Deblending is a data processing procedure used to separate the source interferences of blended seismic data,which are obtained by simultaneous sources with random time delays to reduce the cost of seismic acquisition....Deblending is a data processing procedure used to separate the source interferences of blended seismic data,which are obtained by simultaneous sources with random time delays to reduce the cost of seismic acquisition.There are three types of deblending algorithms,i.e.,filtering-type noise suppression algorithm,inversion-based algorithm and deep-learning based algorithm.We review the merits of these techniques,and propose to use a sparse inversion method for seismic data deblending.Filtering-based deblending approach is applicable to blended data with a low blending fold and simple geometry.Otherwise,it can suffer from signal distortion and noise leakage.At present,the deep learning based deblending methods are still under development and field data applications are limited due to the lack of high-quality training labels.In contrast,the inversion-based deblending approaches have gained industrial acceptance.Our used inversion approach transforms the pseudo-deblended data into the frequency-wavenumber-wavenumher(FKK)domain,and a sparse constraint is imposed for the coherent signal estimation.The estimated signal is used to predict the interference noise for subtraction from the original pseudo-deblended data.Via minimizing the data misfit,the signal can be iteratively updated with a shrinking threshold until the signal and interference are fully separated.The used FKK sparse inversion algorithm is very accurate and efficient compared with other sparse inversion methods,and it is widely applied in field cases.Synthetic example shows that the deblending error is less than 1%in average amplitudes and less than-40 dB in amplitude spectra.We present three field data examples of land,marine OBN(Ocean Bottom Nodes)and streamer acquisitions to demonstrate its successful applications in separating the source interferences efficiently and accurately.展开更多
To search the new effective nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)electrocatalyst is very important for the ammonia-based industry.Herein,we reported the design of a novel NRR electrocatalyst with Ru NPs loaded on oxygen-va...To search the new effective nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)electrocatalyst is very important for the ammonia-based industry.Herein,we reported the design of a novel NRR electrocatalyst with Ru NPs loaded on oxygen-vacancy TiO2(Ru/TiO2-Vo).Structural characterizations revealed that oxygen vacancy was loaded in the matrix of Ru/TiO2-Vo.Electrocatalytic results indicated that Ru/TiO2-Vo showed good NRR performance(2.11μg h^-1 cm^-2).Contrast tests showed that NRR property of Ru/TiO2-Vo was much better than those of Ru/TiO-12(B)(0.53μg hcm^-2)and Ru/P25(0.42μg h^-1 cm^-2).Furthermore,density functional theory calculation results indicated catalytic mechanism of NRR and rate-determining step(*N2+1/2 H2→*N+*NH)was the potential-determining step with the overpotential requirement of 0.21 V.A combination of electronic structure analysis and catalytic measurement shed light on the synergistic effect of Ru and oxygen vacancy on the NRR performance.展开更多

The shock wave is established in a hydrogen oxygen combustion driven shock tube. Time- resolved spectra of the Av = 0 sequence of the B^2∑^+ → X^2∑^+ electronic transition of CN have been observed through optical emission spectroscopy (OES). A new method, which is based on fitting high resolution spectrum for rotational and vibrational temperatures measurement, is proposed to diag- nose temperature distribution behind the shock wave. It is estimated that the current scheme has the maximum deviation less than 8% (lσ) for vibrational temperature measurement through detailed analysis of the influence of the uncertainties of spectroscopic constants and spectral resolution. Radiation structure of the shock layer, including induction, relaxation and equilibrium process, and corresponding rotational and vibrational temperatures are obtained through time gating OES diagnostics with sub-microsecond temporal resolution. The present extensive results will strongly benefit the reaction rate estimation and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code validation in high enthalpy Mars reentry chemistry.展开更多

In this study, we tried to explore the role of circulating tumor cell (CTC) detection combination PET/CT technology evaluating the prognosis and treatment response of patients with breast cancer; meanwhile, we attempted to assess the concept of "biological complete remission" (bCR) in this regard. A 56-year-old patient with breast cancer (T2N1M1, stage IV left breast cancer, with metastasis to axillary lymph nodes and lungs) received 6 cycles of salvage treatment with albumin-bound paditaxd plus eapecitaabine and trastuzumah. Then, she underwent CTC detection and PET/CT for efficacy evaluation. CTC detection combination PET/CT is useful for the evaluation of the biological efficacy of therapies for breast cancer. The bCR of the patient appeared earlier than the conventional clinical imaging complete remission and promised the histological (pathological) complete remission. This is the first detection of...We report the discovery of a broad absorption line (BAL) of - 10^4 km s^-1 in width in the previously known BL Lac object PKS 0138-097, which we tentatively identified as an Mg II BAL. This is the first detection of a BAL, which is sometimes seen in powerful quasars with high accretion rates, in a BL Lac object. The BAL was clearly detected in its spectra spanning two epochs at a high luminosity state taken in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS), while it disappeared in three SDSS spectra taken at a low luminosity state. The BAL and its variability pattern were also found in its historical multi-epoch spectra in the literature, but have been overlooked previously. In its high resolution radio maps, PKS 0138-097 shows a core plus a one- sided parsec-scale jet. The BAL variability can be interpreted as follows: The optical emission is dominated by the core in a high state and by the jet in a low state and the BAL material is located between the core and jet so that the BAL appears only when the core is shining. Our discovery suggests that outflows may also be produced in active galactic nuclei at a low accreting state.展开更多

Here we numerically investigate the generation o...Superhalo electrons appear to be continuously present in the interplane- tary medium, even during very quiet times, with a power-law spectrum at energies above ~2 keV. Here we numerically investigate the generation of superhalo electrons by magnetic reconnection in the solar wind source region, using magnetohydrody- namics and test particle simulations for both single X-line reconnection and multiple X-line reconnection. We find that the direct current electric field, produced in the mag- netic reconnection region, can accelerate electrons from an initial thermal energy of T ~105 K up to hundreds of keV. After acceleration, some of the accelerated elec- trons, together with the nascent solar wind flow driven by the reconnection, propagate upwards along the newly-opened magnetic field lines into interplanetary space, while the rest move downwards into the lower atmosphere. Similar to the observed superhalo electrons at 1 AU, the flux of upward-traveling accelerated electrons versus energy dis- plays a power-law distribution at ~ 2-100 keV, f(E)~ E^-δ, with a 6 of ~1.5 - 2.4. For single (multiple) X-line reconnection, the spectrum becomes harder (softer) as the anomalous resistivity parameter a (uniform resistivity η) increases. These modeling results suggest that the acceleration in the solar wind source region may contribute to superhalo electrons.展开更多

The corrosion mechanism of 510L low alloy steel treated by acid-cleaned surface(ACS)and eco-pickled surface(EPS)techniques in three simulated solutions(S0:atmospheric environment;S1:soil environment;S2:industrial envi...The corrosion mechanism of 510L low alloy steel treated by acid-cleaned surface(ACS)and eco-pickled surface(EPS)techniques in three simulated solutions(S0:atmospheric environment;S1:soil environment;S2:industrial environment)and the influence of interaction between different corrosive anions on corrosion were investigated.The results show that the total corrosion rates of samples in three simulated solutions were in order of S2>S0>S1,which is simultaneously correlated with initial corrosion dissolution processes as well as after the formation of corrosion products.HCO3−will inhibit the initial corrosion owing to the formation of films,whereas HSO3−will accelerate the dissolutions of the matrix based on the synergistic action of HSO3−and Cl−.On the other hand,there is no significant difference in corrosion rates between the samples treated by ACS and EPS techniques.The EPS technique that is safe,reusable and environmentally friendly can be further widely used in future work.展开更多
The location ofγ-ray emission of blazars remains a contested topic,inspiring the development of numerous investigative techniques to address this issue.In this work,we analyzed Fermiγ-ray light curves in the GeV and...The location ofγ-ray emission of blazars remains a contested topic,inspiring the development of numerous investigative techniques to address this issue.In this work,we analyzed Fermiγ-ray light curves in the GeV and MeV bands,employing the discrete cross-correlation function method to discern time lags between the two bands.For 4C+21.35,Ton 599,B21420+32,and PKS 1510-089,we identified a time lag spanning several days,while for PKS 1441+25,the time lag was not statistically found.The results imply that the soft photons necessary for inverse Compton scattering predominantly originate from the dusty torus in the first four sources,whereas for PKS1441+25,they seem to be sourced mainly from the broad-line region.Further analysis of the opacity(τγγ)and the GeV spectra study supports the conclusion that the location of the dissipation region must be beyond the BLR to avoid significant absorption.Notably,for PKS 1441+25,the emission region is also posited to lie outside yet proximate to the BLR.The parameters of describing the emission region were obtained by fitting broadband spectral energy distribution with contemporaneous observation data.Our findings suggest that for the five TeV FSRQs,during Te V flaring events,the jet appears to maintain an equilibrium between the energy density of the magnetic field and that of the particles for all investigated sources,with the exceptions of 4C+21.35 and PKS1441+25.In terms of the overall jet power,particle energy is the dominant contributor,and the observed blazar radiation cannot be solely attributed to the magnetic field,except in the case of 4C+21.35.Consequently,magnetic reconnection is unlikely to be the primary mechanism behind particle acceleration in these systems.展开更多
We report on the discovery of unusual broad absorption lines(BALs)in the bright quasar SDSS J075133.35+134548.3 at z~1,using archival and newly obtained optical and NIR spectroscopic data.The BALs are detected reliabl...We report on the discovery of unusual broad absorption lines(BALs)in the bright quasar SDSS J075133.35+134548.3 at z~1,using archival and newly obtained optical and NIR spectroscopic data.The BALs are detected reliably in HeⅠ*λ3889,HeⅠ*λ10830 and tentatively in AlⅢ,MgⅡ.These BALs show complex velocity structures consisting of two major components:a high-velocity component(HV),with a blueshifted velocity range ofΔv_(HV)~9300--3500 km s^(-1),which can be reliably detected in HeⅠ*λ10830,and tentatively in AlⅢand MgⅡ,whereas it is undetectable in HeⅠ*λ3889;and a low-velocity component(LV),withΔv_(LV)~3500--1800 km s^(-1),is only detected in HeⅠ*λ3889 and HeⅠ*λ10830.With the BALs from different ions,the HV outflowing gas can be constrained to have a density of nH~10^(10.3)-10^(11.4) cm^(-3),a column density of NH~10^(21) cm^(-2)and an ionization parameter of U~10^(-1.83)-10^(-1.72);inferring a distance of RHV~0.5 pc from the central continuum source with a monochromatic luminosityλLλ(5100)=7.0×10^(45)erg s^(-1)at 5100 A.This distance is remarkably similar to that of the normal broad line region(BLR)estimated from reverberation experiments,suggesting association of the BLR and the HV BAL outflowing gas.Interestingly,a blueshifted component is also detected in AlⅢand MgⅡbroad emission lines(BELs),and the AlⅢ/MgⅡof such a BEL component can be reproduced by the physical parameters inferred from the HV BAL gas.The LV BAL gas likely has a larger column density,a higher ionization level and hence a smaller distance than the HV BAL gas.Further spectroscopy with a high S/N ratio and broader wavelength coverage is needed to confirm this to shed new light on the possible connection between BALs and BELs.展开更多
Background: The addition of anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-targeted drugs, such as trastuzumab, lapatinib, and trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1), to chemotherapy significantly improved prognosis...Background: The addition of anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-targeted drugs, such as trastuzumab, lapatinib, and trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1), to chemotherapy significantly improved prognosis of HER2-positive breast cancer patients. However, it was confused that metastatic patients vary in the response of targeted drug. Therefore, methods of accurately predicting drug response were really needed. To overcome the spatial and temporal limitations ofbiopsies, we aimed to develop a more sensitive and less invasive method of detecting mutations associated with anti-tiER2 therapeutic response through circulating-free DNA (ctDNA). Methods: From March 6, 2014 to December 10, 2014, 24 plasma samples from 20 patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer who received systemic therapy were eligible. We used a panel for detection of hot-spot mutations from 50 oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, and then used targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS) to identify somatic mutation of these samples in those 50 genes. Samples taken before their first trastuzumab administration and subsequently proven with clinical benefit were grouped into sensitive group. The others were collected after disease progression of the trastuzumab-based therapy and were grouped into the resistant group. Results: A total of 486 single-nucleotide variants from 46 genes were detected. Of these 46 genes, phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit alpha (PIK3C)I), proto-oncogene c-Kit (KIT), and tumor protein p53 (TP53) were the most common mntated genes. Seven genes, including epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), G protein subunit alpha S (GNAS), HRas proto-oncogene (HRAS), mutL homolog I (MLHI), cadherin 1 (CDHI), neuroblastoma RAS viral oncogene homolog (NRAS), and NOTCttl, that only occurred mutations in the resistant group were associated with the resistance of targeted therapy. In addition, we detected a HER2 S8551 mutation in two patients who had persistent benefits from anti-HER2 therapy. Conclusion: Targeted NGS of cfDNA has potential clinical utility to detect biomarkers from HER2-targeted therapies.展开更多

文摘Deblending is a data processing procedure used to separate the source interferences of blended seismic data,which are obtained by simultaneous sources with random time delays to reduce the cost of seismic acquisition.There are three types of deblending algorithms,i.e.,filtering-type noise suppression algorithm,inversion-based algorithm and deep-learning based algorithm.We review the merits of these techniques,and propose to use a sparse inversion method for seismic data deblending.Filtering-based deblending approach is applicable to blended data with a low blending fold and simple geometry.Otherwise,it can suffer from signal distortion and noise leakage.At present,the deep learning based deblending methods are still under development and field data applications are limited due to the lack of high-quality training labels.In contrast,the inversion-based deblending approaches have gained industrial acceptance.Our used inversion approach transforms the pseudo-deblended data into the frequency-wavenumber-wavenumher(FKK)domain,and a sparse constraint is imposed for the coherent signal estimation.The estimated signal is used to predict the interference noise for subtraction from the original pseudo-deblended data.Via minimizing the data misfit,the signal can be iteratively updated with a shrinking threshold until the signal and interference are fully separated.The used FKK sparse inversion algorithm is very accurate and efficient compared with other sparse inversion methods,and it is widely applied in field cases.Synthetic example shows that the deblending error is less than 1%in average amplitudes and less than-40 dB in amplitude spectra.We present three field data examples of land,marine OBN(Ocean Bottom Nodes)and streamer acquisitions to demonstrate its successful applications in separating the source interferences efficiently and accurately.

文摘To search the new effective nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)electrocatalyst is very important for the ammonia-based industry.Herein,we reported the design of a novel NRR electrocatalyst with Ru NPs loaded on oxygen-vacancy TiO2(Ru/TiO2-Vo).Structural characterizations revealed that oxygen vacancy was loaded in the matrix of Ru/TiO2-Vo.Electrocatalytic results indicated that Ru/TiO2-Vo showed good NRR performance(2.11μg h^-1 cm^-2).Contrast tests showed that NRR property of Ru/TiO2-Vo was much better than those of Ru/TiO-12(B)(0.53μg hcm^-2)and Ru/P25(0.42μg h^-1 cm^-2).Furthermore,density functional theory calculation results indicated catalytic mechanism of NRR and rate-determining step(*N2+1/2 H2→*N+*NH)was the potential-determining step with the overpotential requirement of 0.21 V.A combination of electronic structure analysis and catalytic measurement shed light on the synergistic effect of Ru and oxygen vacancy on the NRR performance.
文摘Non-equilibrium radiation measurements behind strong shock wave for simulated Martian atmosphere are presented in this paper. The shock wave is established in a hydrogen oxygen combustion driven shock tube. Time- resolved spectra of the Av = 0 sequence of the B^2∑^+ → X^2∑^+ electronic transition of CN have been observed through optical emission spectroscopy (OES). A new method, which is based on fitting high resolution spectrum for rotational and vibrational temperatures measurement, is proposed to diag- nose temperature distribution behind the shock wave. It is estimated that the current scheme has the maximum deviation less than 8% (lσ) for vibrational temperature measurement through detailed analysis of the influence of the uncertainties of spectroscopic constants and spectral resolution. Radiation structure of the shock layer, including induction, relaxation and equilibrium process, and corresponding rotational and vibrational temperatures are obtained through time gating OES diagnostics with sub-microsecond temporal resolution. The present extensive results will strongly benefit the reaction rate estimation and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code validation in high enthalpy Mars reentry chemistry.

文摘The influence of cerium(Ce)treatment on the morphologies,size and distributions of Al_2O_3 inclusions in low carbon high manganese steel was investigated by OM,SEM-EDS and theoretical calculation.The results showed that Ce can modify the morphologies and types of Al_2O_3 inclusions.After Ce treatment,the irregular Al_2O_3 inclusions were replaced by smaller and dispersive spherical cerium oxysulfides.The effects of treatment time and Ce content on the evolution of Al_2O_3 inclusions were examined.It indicated that Al_2O_3 inclusions were wrapped by rare earth inclusions to form a ring like shape Ce-enriched band around the inclusions.Model was established to elucidate the evolution mechanism of Al_2O_3 inclusions.Evolution kinetics of inclusions was discussed qualitatively to analyze the velocity controlled step.It was found that diffusion of Ce^(3+)and Al^(3+)in solid inclusion core and the formed intermediate layer would be the limited step during the evolution process.

文摘Breast cancer is one of the most common malignancies in women. The post-operative recurrence and metastasis are the leading causes of breast cancer-related mortality. In this study, we tried to explore the role of circulating tumor cell (CTC) detection combination PET/CT technology evaluating the prognosis and treatment response of patients with breast cancer; meanwhile, we attempted to assess the concept of "biological complete remission" (bCR) in this regard. A 56-year-old patient with breast cancer (T2N1M1, stage IV left breast cancer, with metastasis to axillary lymph nodes and lungs) received 6 cycles of salvage treatment with albumin-bound paditaxd plus eapecitaabine and trastuzumah. Then, she underwent CTC detection and PET/CT for efficacy evaluation. CTC detection combination PET/CT is useful for the evaluation of the biological efficacy of therapies for breast cancer. The bCR of the patient appeared earlier than the conventional clinical imaging complete remission and promised the histological (pathological) complete remission. The integrated application of the concepts including bCR, imageological CR, and histological CR can achieve the early and prognosis of breast cancer. accurate assessment of biological therapeutic reponse and

文摘Low alloy steels are widely used in bridges,construction,chemical and various equipment and metal components due to their low cost and excellent mechanical strength.Information in the literature related to the preparation,advantages and disadvantages,and applications along with research progress of various types of protective coatings suitable for low-alloy steel surfaces is reviewed,while a conclusive and comparative analysis is also afforded to the numerous factors influencing the protective ability of coatings.The characteristics of coatings drawn from the latest published literature are discussed and suggest that the modification of traditional metal coatings and the development of new organic coatings under the consideration of environmental protection,low cost,simplicity and large-scale industrial application are simultaneously proceeding,which holds promise for improving the understanding of corrosion protection in related fields and helps to address some of the limitations identified with more conventional coating techniques.
文摘Corresponding to the atmospheric transmission windows of the electromagnetic spectrum in the low terahertz range,the mode coupling and dispersion characteristics of two helically corrugated waveguides(HCW)in the frequency ranges of 90 GHz-100 GHz and 260 GHz-265 GHz are studied.Through analytic calculations and numerical simulations,dispersion curves and structural parameters of the two frequency ranges waveguides are obtained.A novel method was proposed to obtain the dispersion of the HCW from the eigenwave solution using a periodic boundary condition.The HCW in a frequency range of 90 GHz-100 GHz was fabricated and its dispersion performance was measured.By comparing the measured results with the theoretical and the simulated results,the validity of the analytical and simulation method is verified.Limited to our machining capability,the dispersion of the 260 GHz-265 GHz HCW was only simulated and calculated and it was found that the results agree well with each other.

文摘We report the discovery of a broad absorption line (BAL) of - 10^4 km s^-1 in width in the previously known BL Lac object PKS 0138-097, which we tentatively identified as an Mg II BAL. This is the first detection of a BAL, which is sometimes seen in powerful quasars with high accretion rates, in a BL Lac object. The BAL was clearly detected in its spectra spanning two epochs at a high luminosity state taken in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS), while it disappeared in three SDSS spectra taken at a low luminosity state. The BAL and its variability pattern were also found in its historical multi-epoch spectra in the literature, but have been overlooked previously. In its high resolution radio maps, PKS 0138-097 shows a core plus a one- sided parsec-scale jet. The BAL variability can be interpreted as follows: The optical emission is dominated by the core in a high state and by the jet in a low state and the BAL material is located between the core and jet so that the BAL appears only when the core is shining. Our discovery suggests that outflows may also be produced in active galactic nuclei at a low accreting state.

文摘Superhalo electrons appear to be continuously present in the interplane- tary medium, even during very quiet times, with a power-law spectrum at energies above ~2 keV. Here we numerically investigate the generation of superhalo electrons by magnetic reconnection in the solar wind source region, using magnetohydrody- namics and test particle simulations for both single X-line reconnection and multiple X-line reconnection. We find that the direct current electric field, produced in the mag- netic reconnection region, can accelerate electrons from an initial thermal energy of T ~105 K up to hundreds of keV. After acceleration, some of the accelerated elec- trons, together with the nascent solar wind flow driven by the reconnection, propagate upwards along the newly-opened magnetic field lines into interplanetary space, while the rest move downwards into the lower atmosphere. Similar to the observed superhalo electrons at 1 AU, the flux of upward-traveling accelerated electrons versus energy dis- plays a power-law distribution at ~ 2-100 keV, f(E)~ E^-δ, with a 6 of ~1.5 - 2.4. For single (multiple) X-line reconnection, the spectrum becomes harder (softer) as the anomalous resistivity parameter a (uniform resistivity η) increases. These modeling results suggest that the acceleration in the solar wind source region may contribute to superhalo electrons.

文摘The fast phase-transitional process of ploy(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) in deuterated solution was studied by laser induced temperature jump technique combined with time-resolved mid-infrared absorbance difference spectroscopy on nanosecond level. The multi-peaks of amide I'band of PNIPAM among the energy range of 1565-1700 cm^-1 was experimentally resolved to three groups (i, ii, iii) for the first time, while the distinct threestage procedure in the phase transitional process of long-chain PNIPAM was observed firstly too. Furthermore, proper assignments were also made for the three group peaks in amide I'band and the three steps in the kinetics process of long-chain PNIPAM.

文摘The corrosion mechanism of 510L low alloy steel treated by acid-cleaned surface(ACS)and eco-pickled surface(EPS)techniques in three simulated solutions(S0:atmospheric environment;S1:soil environment;S2:industrial environment)and the influence of interaction between different corrosive anions on corrosion were investigated.The results show that the total corrosion rates of samples in three simulated solutions were in order of S2>S0>S1,which is simultaneously correlated with initial corrosion dissolution processes as well as after the formation of corrosion products.HCO3−will inhibit the initial corrosion owing to the formation of films,whereas HSO3−will accelerate the dissolutions of the matrix based on the synergistic action of HSO3−and Cl−.On the other hand,there is no significant difference in corrosion rates between the samples treated by ACS and EPS techniques.The EPS technique that is safe,reusable and environmentally friendly can be further widely used in future work.

文摘The location ofγ-ray emission of blazars remains a contested topic,inspiring the development of numerous investigative techniques to address this issue.In this work,we analyzed Fermiγ-ray light curves in the GeV and MeV bands,employing the discrete cross-correlation function method to discern time lags between the two bands.For 4C+21.35,Ton 599,B21420+32,and PKS 1510-089,we identified a time lag spanning several days,while for PKS 1441+25,the time lag was not statistically found.The results imply that the soft photons necessary for inverse Compton scattering predominantly originate from the dusty torus in the first four sources,whereas for PKS1441+25,they seem to be sourced mainly from the broad-line region.Further analysis of the opacity(τγγ)and the GeV spectra study supports the conclusion that the location of the dissipation region must be beyond the BLR to avoid significant absorption.Notably,for PKS 1441+25,the emission region is also posited to lie outside yet proximate to the BLR.The parameters of describing the emission region were obtained by fitting broadband spectral energy distribution with contemporaneous observation data.Our findings suggest that for the five TeV FSRQs,during Te V flaring events,the jet appears to maintain an equilibrium between the energy density of the magnetic field and that of the particles for all investigated sources,with the exceptions of 4C+21.35 and PKS1441+25.In terms of the overall jet power,particle energy is the dominant contributor,and the observed blazar radiation cannot be solely attributed to the magnetic field,except in the case of 4C+21.35.Consequently,magnetic reconnection is unlikely to be the primary mechanism behind particle acceleration in these systems.

文摘We report on the discovery of unusual broad absorption lines(BALs)in the bright quasar SDSS J075133.35+134548.3 at z~1,using archival and newly obtained optical and NIR spectroscopic data.The BALs are detected reliably in HeⅠ*λ3889,HeⅠ*λ10830 and tentatively in AlⅢ,MgⅡ.These BALs show complex velocity structures consisting of two major components:a high-velocity component(HV),with a blueshifted velocity range ofΔv_(HV)~9300--3500 km s^(-1),which can be reliably detected in HeⅠ*λ10830,and tentatively in AlⅢand MgⅡ,whereas it is undetectable in HeⅠ*λ3889;and a low-velocity component(LV),withΔv_(LV)~3500--1800 km s^(-1),is only detected in HeⅠ*λ3889 and HeⅠ*λ10830.With the BALs from different ions,the HV outflowing gas can be constrained to have a density of nH~10^(10.3)-10^(11.4) cm^(-3),a column density of NH~10^(21) cm^(-2)and an ionization parameter of U~10^(-1.83)-10^(-1.72);inferring a distance of RHV~0.5 pc from the central continuum source with a monochromatic luminosityλLλ(5100)=7.0×10^(45)erg s^(-1)at 5100 A.This distance is remarkably similar to that of the normal broad line region(BLR)estimated from reverberation experiments,suggesting association of the BLR and the HV BAL outflowing gas.Interestingly,a blueshifted component is also detected in AlⅢand MgⅡbroad emission lines(BELs),and the AlⅢ/MgⅡof such a BEL component can be reproduced by the physical parameters inferred from the HV BAL gas.The LV BAL gas likely has a larger column density,a higher ionization level and hence a smaller distance than the HV BAL gas.Further spectroscopy with a high S/N ratio and broader wavelength coverage is needed to confirm this to shed new light on the possible connection between BALs and BELs.

文摘Background: The addition of anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-targeted drugs, such as trastuzumab, lapatinib, and trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1), to chemotherapy significantly improved prognosis of HER2-positive breast cancer patients. However, it was confused that metastatic patients vary in the response of targeted drug. Therefore, methods of accurately predicting drug response were really needed. To overcome the spatial and temporal limitations ofbiopsies, we aimed to develop a more sensitive and less invasive method of detecting mutations associated with anti-tiER2 therapeutic response through circulating-free DNA (ctDNA). Methods: From March 6, 2014 to December 10, 2014, 24 plasma samples from 20 patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer who received systemic therapy were eligible. We used a panel for detection of hot-spot mutations from 50 oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, and then used targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS) to identify somatic mutation of these samples in those 50 genes. Samples taken before their first trastuzumab administration and subsequently proven with clinical benefit were grouped into sensitive group. The others were collected after disease progression of the trastuzumab-based therapy and were grouped into the resistant group. Results: A total of 486 single-nucleotide variants from 46 genes were detected. Of these 46 genes, phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit alpha (PIK3C)I), proto-oncogene c-Kit (KIT), and tumor protein p53 (TP53) were the most common mntated genes. Seven genes, including epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), G protein subunit alpha S (GNAS), HRas proto-oncogene (HRAS), mutL homolog I (MLHI), cadherin 1 (CDHI), neuroblastoma RAS viral oncogene homolog (NRAS), and NOTCttl, that only occurred mutations in the resistant group were associated with the resistance of targeted therapy. In addition, we detected a HER2 S8551 mutation in two patients who had persistent benefits from anti-HER2 therapy. Conclusion: Targeted NGS of cfDNA has potential clinical utility to detect biomarkers from HER2-targeted therapies.
