AIM:To investigate the associations between interleukin(IL)-1B and IL-1RN polymorphisms and gastric cancers among the Tibet,Hui and Han ethnicities.METHODS:Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood of 210,205,an...AIM:To investigate the associations between interleukin(IL)-1B and IL-1RN polymorphisms and gastric cancers among the Tibet,Hui and Han ethnicities.METHODS:Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood of 210,205,and 202 healthy volunteers and from 155,158,and 197 gastric cancer patients from the Tibet,Hui,and Han populations,respectively.Polymorphisms in IL-1B and IL-1RN were analyzed by denaturing high-performance liquid chromatography.RESULTS:Carriers of the IL-1B-31 CC genotype had an increased risk of intestinal type gastric cancer [odds ratio(OR) = 2.17,P = 0.037] in the Tibet ethnicity.Carriers of the IL-1B 2/L genotype had an increased risk of both intestinal and diffuse types of gastric cancer(OR = 2.08,2.31,P = 0.007,0.016,respectively) in the Hui ethnicity.In the Han population,carriers of the IL-1B-31 CC,IL-1B-511CT,TT genotypes had increased risk of intestinal type gastric cancer(OR = 2.51,2.74,5.66,P = 0.005,0.002,0.000,respectively).CONCLUSION:IL-1B and IL-RN genotypes may differentially contribute to gastric cancer among the Tibet,Hui,and Han ethnicities in the Qinghai area of China.展开更多
Highly ordered Tb_(x)Fe_(7)Co_(3)(x=0,0.6,0.8)nanowires were synthesized in alumina templates by electrochemical deposition method.Here,the effects of Tb content and annealing treatment on the phase composition,morpho...Highly ordered Tb_(x)Fe_(7)Co_(3)(x=0,0.6,0.8)nanowires were synthesized in alumina templates by electrochemical deposition method.Here,the effects of Tb content and annealing treatment on the phase composition,morphology,crystalline structure and magnetic properties were investigated.The asdeposited Tb_0 Fe_(7)Co_(3)nanowires comprise Fe_(7)Co_(3)phase.While after adding Tb,the diffraction peaks slightly shift left,indicating the infiltration of Tb atoms into Fe_(7)Co_(3)phase.After annealing,Tb_0 Fe_(7)Co_(3)nanowires still consist of Fe_(7)Co_(3)phase with a slight enhancement on coercivity.While the annealed nanowires with Tb doped present a complex phase composition containing Fe3 Tb,Fe_(2)Tb,Co_(3)Tb,Co_(17)Tb_(2),TbFeO_(3)and Fe_(2)O_(3)phases distribute in the central portion,and Co_(0.72)Fe_(0.28)at the nanowire outer walls.The annealed Tb_(x)Fe_(7)Co_(3)(x=0.6,0.8)nanowires show higher magnetic performance owing to the formation of hard magnetic phases,the interfacial elastic coupling between hard and soft phases and the coherent Fe3 Tb/Co_(3)Tb interface which restrain the domain wall motion.To be specific,the coercivity and remanence ratio of TbxFe_(7)Co_(3)(x=0.6,0.8)nanowires significantly enhance with increasing Tb content.展开更多
BACKGROUND Infiltrating ductal breast carcinoma with monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance(MGUS)is rare and easily misdiagnosed.Most patients are first diagnosed with MGUS.We report a rare case of MGUS se...BACKGROUND Infiltrating ductal breast carcinoma with monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance(MGUS)is rare and easily misdiagnosed.Most patients are first diagnosed with MGUS.We report a rare case of MGUS secondary to infiltrating ductal breast carcinoma.We also review the literature to analyze the clinical characteristics and diagnostic methods.CASE SUMMARY A 51-year-old woman underwent modified radical mastectomy for infiltrating ductal carcinoma of the right breast and was then treated with radiation and chemotherapy.A decreased platelet count was found on routine blood examination,and MGUS was subsequently diagnosed.This is the first report of the occurrence of MGUS after breast cancer surgery.CONCLUSION Vigilance is required to distinguish this rare comorbidity from breast plasmacytoma.展开更多
Advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage(AA-CAES),with its dual capability for electricity-heat cogeneration and energy storage,offers significant potential as an energy hub for integrated electricity and heat...Advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage(AA-CAES),with its dual capability for electricity-heat cogeneration and energy storage,offers significant potential as an energy hub for integrated electricity and heat systems(IEHS).While synergies in the electricity-heat market are known to enhance economic efficiency,it is hard to achieve cooperative operation due to the inherent differences among participants of IEHS and the absence of an incentive-compatible mechanism.To address this challenge,this paper proposes a Nash bargaining-based cooperative operation strategy for IEHS with AA-CAES.First,a cooperative alliance framework based on the Nash bargaining is proposed to optimize energy trading.Second,to overcome computational complexity,the non-convex,nonlinear Nash bargaining problem is decomposed into a two-stage optimization approach.In the first stage,a joint planning model maximizes the total profit of the alliance,determining the optimal energy interaction for each participant.In the second stage,a subsequent model ensures fair profit distribution by optimizing pricing and benefit-sharing mechanisms.Subsequently,a distributed solution strategy based on the self-adaptive alternating direction method of multipliers is utilized to preserve operator privacy and improve computational efficiency.Finally,case studies demonstrate that within the electricity-heat co-supply mode,the daily profit of AA-CAES can improve by approximately 4137.45 CNY.Meanwhile,through the proposed cooperative strategy,participants in the IEHS can obtain greater profits,which validates the effectiveness of this strategy.展开更多
