Silica-based ceramic cores have been widely used to fabricate aero-engine hollow blades due to their moderate high temperature mechanical properties and excellent leachability.In this study,silica-based ceramics with ...Silica-based ceramic cores have been widely used to fabricate aero-engine hollow blades due to their moderate high temperature mechanical properties and excellent leachability.In this study,silica-based ceramics with SiC fiber addition were prepared via stereolithography,and the influence of SiC fiber content on mechanical properties of the obtained silica-based ceramics was investigated.With the increase of SiC fiber content,linear shrinkage gradually decreased,while room temperature flexural strength and high temperature flexural strength first increased and then decreased.As SiC fiber content increased to 4.0 wt%,linear shrinkage was reduced to 0.62%resulting from the oxidation of SiC.Furthermore,room temperature flexural strength was improved from 11.79 MPa to 23.83 MPa and high temperature flexural strength was enhanced from 15.64 MPa to 34.62 MPa with 4.0 wt%SiC fiber addition due to the reinforcement of fibers and the enhancedβ-cristobalite content,which meets the need of ceramic cores.Therefore,it demonstrates the capability of fabricating high-performance and high-precision silica-based ceramic cores reinforced by SiC fibers via stereolithography for rapid manufacturing of hollow blades.展开更多
Shock compression and spallation damage of a face-center cubic phase high-entropy alloy(HEA)Al_(0.1)CoCrFeNi were investigated via plate impact experiments along with free surface velocity measurements.Postmortem samp...Shock compression and spallation damage of a face-center cubic phase high-entropy alloy(HEA)Al_(0.1)CoCrFeNi were investigated via plate impact experiments along with free surface velocity measurements.Postmortem samples were characterized with transmission electron microscopy and electron backscatter diffraction.The Hugoniot equation of state and spall strength at different impact strengths were determined.There exists a power-law relation between spall strength and strain rate.The spall strength of Al_(0.1)CoCrFeNi HEA is about 50%higher than those of previously studied HEAs and comparable to those widely applied structural stainless steels at the same shock stress.Dislocation glide and stacking faults are the important deformation mechanisms in the Al_(0.1)CoCrFeNi HEA.Nanotwins are only observed at high shock stress.Damage in the Al_(0.1)CoCrFeNi HEA is ductile in nature.Voids are nucleated preferentially in grain interiors,and the intragranular voids show a strong dependence on grain boundary misorientation and peak stress.展开更多

Shock compression and spallation of a eutectic high-entropy alloy(HEA)AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1)with lamellar structure are investigated via plate impact loading with free-surface velocity measurements.The as-cast and postmorte...Shock compression and spallation of a eutectic high-entropy alloy(HEA)AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1)with lamellar structure are investigated via plate impact loading with free-surface velocity measurements.The as-cast and postmortem samples are characterized with transmission electron microscopy,electron back-scatter diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.An accurate Hugoniot equation of state is determined.Af-ter shock compression to∼12 GPa,both the L1_(2)and B_(2)phases retain their ordered structures.Dense dislocations in the{111}slip planes,stacking faults and deformation twins are found in the L1_(2)phase,along with fewer dislocations in the{110}slip bands in the B(2)phase.Shock-induced deformation twin-ning within the L1_(2)phase of this HEA is observed as a new deformation mechanism under various load-ing conditions.For spallation,both ductile and brittle damage modes are observed.The micro voids and cracks prefer to nucleate at the phase boundaries chiefly,then in the B(2)phase.Under similar shock stress,the spall strength of AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1)HEA is about 40%higher than those of other reported dual-phase HEAs due to the high stability of its semi-coherent phase boundaries.展开更多
The aim of this study is to detect whether the quantitative textural features of optical coherencetomography angiography (OCTA) images can be used to detect the eyes in the early stage ofdiabetic retinopathy (DR) from...The aim of this study is to detect whether the quantitative textural features of optical coherencetomography angiography (OCTA) images can be used to detect the eyes in the early stage ofdiabetic retinopathy (DR) from eyes with diabetes and no DR (NDR). Textural features includingfractal dimension, contrast, correlation, entropy, energy, and homogeneity were calculatedfrom the OCTA images. The Student's t-test was performed to identify the textural featuresthat can be able to detect DR in the early stage. The area under the receiver operating characteristic(AUROC) curves, sensitivity, and specicity were calculated between the study groups.Our results indicated that the fractal dimension in ICP and SVP and the correlation in SVCshowed the statistical signicance between mild NPDR patients and NDR patients. The ROCanalysis results showed that the AUROC of the fractal dimension in ICP was 0.736 with 0.773sensitivity and 0.700 specicity. The cuto® point in ICP was 2.616. The OCTA-based fractaldimension was able to discriminate diabetic eyes with early retinopathy from healthy and NDRwith higher sensitivity and specicity. The OCTA-based correlation showed the power to differentiatethe mild NPDR eyes from the normal healthy and diabetic eyes. These results suggestthat texture-based features of OCTA have the potential to assist in the assessment of therapeuticinterventions to prevent early DR in diabetic subjects.展开更多
In this paper,we report the detection of the very-high-energy(VHE,100 GeV<E<100 TeV)and ultra-high-energy(UHE,E>100 TeV)y-ray emissions from the direction of the young star-forming region W43,observed by the ...In this paper,we report the detection of the very-high-energy(VHE,100 GeV<E<100 TeV)and ultra-high-energy(UHE,E>100 TeV)y-ray emissions from the direction of the young star-forming region W43,observed by the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observation(LHAASO).The extendedγ-ray source was detected with a significance of~16σby KM2A and~17σby WCDA,respectively.The angular extension of this y-ray source is about 0.5 degrees,corresponding to a physical size of about 50pc.We discuss the origin of theγ-ray emission and possible cosmic ray acceleration in the W43 region using multi-wavelength data.Our findings suggest that W43 is likely another young star cluster capable of accelerating cosmic rays(CRs)to at least several hundred TeV.展开更多
We report the detection of an extended very-high-energy(VHE)γ-ray source coincident with the location of middle-aged(62.4 kyr)pulsar PSR J0248+6021,by using the LHAASO-WCDA data of live 796 d and LHAASO-KM2A data of ...We report the detection of an extended very-high-energy(VHE)γ-ray source coincident with the location of middle-aged(62.4 kyr)pulsar PSR J0248+6021,by using the LHAASO-WCDA data of live 796 d and LHAASO-KM2A data of live 1216d.A significant excess of y-ray induced showers is observed both by WCDA in energy bands of 1-25 TeV and KM2A in energy bands of>25 TeV with 7.3σand 13.5σ,respectively.The best-fit position derived through WCDA data is R.A.=42.06°±0.12°and Dec.=60.24°±0.13°with an extension of 0.69°±0.15°and that of the KM2A data is R.A.=42.29°±0.13°and Dec.=60.38°±0.07°with an extension of 0.37°±0.07°.No clear extended multiwavelength counterpart of this LHAASO source has been found from the radio band to the GeV band.The most plausible explanation of the VHEγ-ray emission is the inverse Compton process of highly relativistic electrons and positrons injected by the pulsar.These electrons/positrons are hypothesized to be either confined within the pulsar wind nebula or to have already escaped into the interstellar medium,forming a pulsar halo.展开更多
We report a dedicated study of the newly discovered extended UHEγ-ray source 1LHAASO J0056+6346u.Analyzing 979 d of LHAASO-WCDA data and 1389 d of LHAASO-KM2A data,we observed a significant excess ofγ-ray events wit...We report a dedicated study of the newly discovered extended UHEγ-ray source 1LHAASO J0056+6346u.Analyzing 979 d of LHAASO-WCDA data and 1389 d of LHAASO-KM2A data,we observed a significant excess ofγ-ray events with both WCDA and KM2A.Assuming a point power-law source with a fixed spectral index,the significance maps reveal excesses of 12.65σ,22.18σ,and 10.24σin the energy ranges of 1-25,25-100,and>100 TeV,respectively.We use a 3D likelihood algorithm to derive the morphological and spectral parameters,and the source is detected with significances of 13.72σby WCDA and 25.27σby KM2A.The best-fit positions derived from WCDA and KM2A data are(R.A.=13.96°±0.09°,Decl.=63.92°±0.05°)and(R.A.=14.00°±0.05°,Decl.=63.79°±0.02°),respectively.The angular size(r_(39))of 1LHAASO J0056+6346u is 0.34°±0.04°at 1-25 TeV and 0.24°±0.02°at>25 TeV.The differential flux of this UHEγ-ray source can be described by an exponential cutoff power-law function:(2.67±0.25)×10^(-15)(E/20 TeV)^((-1.97±0.10))e^(-E/(55.1±7.2)TeV)TeV^(-1)cm^(-2)s^(-1).To explore potential sources ofγ-ray emission,we investigated the gas distribution around 1LHAASO J0056+6346u.1LHAASO J0056+6346u is likely to be a TeV PWN powered by an unknown pulsar,which would naturally explain both its spatial and spectral properties.Another explanation is that this UHEγ-ray source might be associated with gas content illuminated by a nearby CR accelerator,possibly the SNR candidate G124.0+1.4.展开更多
The ultra-high-energy(UHE)gamma-ray source 1LHAASO J0007+7303u is positionally associated with the composite SNR CTA1 that is located at high Galactic Latitude b≈10.5°.This provides a rare opportunity to spatial...The ultra-high-energy(UHE)gamma-ray source 1LHAASO J0007+7303u is positionally associated with the composite SNR CTA1 that is located at high Galactic Latitude b≈10.5°.This provides a rare opportunity to spatially resolve the component of the pulsar wind nebula(PWN)and supernova remnant(SNR)at UHE.This paper conducted a dedicated data analysis of 1LHAASO J0007+7303u using the data collected from December 2019 to July 2023.This source is well detected with significances of 21σand 17σat 8-100 TeV and>100 TeV,respectively.The corresponding extensions are determined to be 0.23°±0.03°and 0.17°±0.03°.The emission is proposed to originate from the relativistic electrons accelerated within the PWN of PSR J0007+7303.The energy spectrum is well described by a power-law with an exponential cutoff function dN/dE=(42.4±4.1)(E/20TeV)^(-2.31+0.11)exp(-E/(110±25Tev))TeV-1 cm^(-2)s^(-1)in the energy range from 8 to 300 TeV,implying a steady-state parent electron spectrum dN_(e)/dE_(e)∝(E_(e)/100TeV)^(-3.13±0.16)exp[(-E_(e)/(373±70TeV))^(2)]at energies above≈50 TeV.The cutoff energy of the electron spectrum is roughly equal to the expected current maximum energy of particles accelerated at the PWN terminal shock.Combining the X-ray and gamma-ray emission,the current space-averaged magnetic field can be limited to≈4.5μG.To satisfy the multi-wavelength spectrum and the y-ray extensions,the transport of relativistic particles within the PWN is likely dominated by the advection process under the free-expansion phase assumption.展开更多
The superτ-charm facility(STCF)is an electron–positron collider proposed by the Chinese particle physics community.It is designed to operate in a center-of-mass energy range from 2 to 7 GeV with a peak luminosity of...The superτ-charm facility(STCF)is an electron–positron collider proposed by the Chinese particle physics community.It is designed to operate in a center-of-mass energy range from 2 to 7 GeV with a peak luminosity of 0.5×10^(35) cm^(–2)·s^(–1) or higher.The STCF will produce a data sample about a factor of 100 larger than that of the presentτ-charm factory—the BEPCII,providing a unique platform for exploring the asymmetry of matter-antimatter(charge-parity violation),in-depth studies of the internal structure of hadrons and the nature of non-perturbative strong interactions,as well as searching for exotic hadrons and physics beyond the Standard Model.The STCF project in China is under development with an extensive R&D program.This document presents the physics opportunities at the STCF,describes conceptual designs of the STCF detector system,and discusses future plans for detector R&D and physics case studies.展开更多
Theγ-ray emission from the W51 complex is widely acknowledged to be attributed to the interaction between the cosmic rays(CRs)accelerated by the shock of supernova remnant(SNR)W51C and the dense molecular clouds in t...Theγ-ray emission from the W51 complex is widely acknowledged to be attributed to the interaction between the cosmic rays(CRs)accelerated by the shock of supernova remnant(SNR)W51C and the dense molecular clouds in the adjacent star-forming region,W51B.However,the maximum acceleration capability of W51C for CRs remains elusive.Based on observations conducted with the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LHAASO),we report a significant detection ofγrays emanating from the W51 complex,with energies from 2 to 200 TeV.The LHAASO measurements,for the first time,extend theγ-ray emission from the W51 complex beyond 100 TeV and reveal a significant spectrum bending at tens of TeV.By combining the"π^(0)-decay bump"featured data from Fermi-LAT,the broadbandγ-ray spectrum of the W51 region can be well-characterized by a simple pp-collision model.The observed spectral bending feature suggests an exponential cutoff at~400 TeV or a power-law break at~200 TeV in the CR proton spectrum,most likely providing the first evidence of SNRs serving as CR accelerators approaching the PeV regime.Additionally,two young star clusters within W51B could also be theoretically viable to produce the most energeticγrays observed by LHAASO.Our findings strongly support the presence of extreme CR accelerators within the W51 complex and provide new insights into the origin of Galactic CRs.展开更多
First evidence of a structure in the J/ψΛinvariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of■b^(-)J/ψΛK^(-)decays.The observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark w...First evidence of a structure in the J/ψΛinvariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of■b^(-)J/ψΛK^(-)decays.The observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark with strangeness with a significance of 3.1r including systematic uncertainties and lookelsewhere effect.Its mass and width are determined to be 4458:8±2:9t4:7-1:1 MeV and 17:3±6:5t8:0-5:7 MeV,respectively,where the quoted uncertainties are statistical and systematic.The structure is also consistent with being due to two resonances.In addition,the narrow excited■^(-)states,N■(1690)and■(1820),are seen for the first time in a■b^(-)decay,and their masses and widths are measured with improved precision.The analysis is performed using pp collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb^(-1),collected with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV.展开更多

Two peaking structures are seen with a local (global) significance of 4.3(2.8) and 4.1(2.4) standard deviations at masses of 6571 and 6694 MeV/c2, respectively. Upper limits are set on the Ξ+bc baryon production cross-section times the branching fraction relative to that of the B+c→J/ψD+s decay at centre-of-mass energies of 8 and 13 TeV, in the Ξ+bc and in the B+c rapidity and transverse-momentum ranges from 2.0 to 4.5 and 0 to 20GeV/c, respectively. A search for the rare decays W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D0γis performed using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV,corresponding to an integrated luminosity...A search for the rare decays W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D0γis performed using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0fb−1.No significant signal is observed for either decay mode and upper limits on their branching fractions are set using W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→μ+μ−decays as normalization channels.The upper limits are 6.5×10^(−4) and 2.1×10^(−3) at 95% confidence level for the W^(+)→D_(s)^(+)γ and Z→D^(0)γ decay modes,respectively.This is the first reported search for the Z→D^(0)γ decay,while the upper limit on the W+→D+sγbranching fraction improves upon the previous best limit.展开更多

文摘Shock compression and spallation of a eutectic high-entropy alloy(HEA)AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1)with lamellar structure are investigated via plate impact loading with free-surface velocity measurements.The as-cast and postmortem samples are characterized with transmission electron microscopy,electron back-scatter diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.An accurate Hugoniot equation of state is determined.Af-ter shock compression to∼12 GPa,both the L1_(2)and B_(2)phases retain their ordered structures.Dense dislocations in the{111}slip planes,stacking faults and deformation twins are found in the L1_(2)phase,along with fewer dislocations in the{110}slip bands in the B(2)phase.Shock-induced deformation twin-ning within the L1_(2)phase of this HEA is observed as a new deformation mechanism under various load-ing conditions.For spallation,both ductile and brittle damage modes are observed.The micro voids and cracks prefer to nucleate at the phase boundaries chiefly,then in the B(2)phase.Under similar shock stress,the spall strength of AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1)HEA is about 40%higher than those of other reported dual-phase HEAs due to the high stability of its semi-coherent phase boundaries.

文摘The aim of this study is to detect whether the quantitative textural features of optical coherencetomography angiography (OCTA) images can be used to detect the eyes in the early stage ofdiabetic retinopathy (DR) from eyes with diabetes and no DR (NDR). Textural features includingfractal dimension, contrast, correlation, entropy, energy, and homogeneity were calculatedfrom the OCTA images. The Student's t-test was performed to identify the textural featuresthat can be able to detect DR in the early stage. The area under the receiver operating characteristic(AUROC) curves, sensitivity, and specicity were calculated between the study groups.Our results indicated that the fractal dimension in ICP and SVP and the correlation in SVCshowed the statistical signicance between mild NPDR patients and NDR patients. The ROCanalysis results showed that the AUROC of the fractal dimension in ICP was 0.736 with 0.773sensitivity and 0.700 specicity. The cuto® point in ICP was 2.616. The OCTA-based fractaldimension was able to discriminate diabetic eyes with early retinopathy from healthy and NDRwith higher sensitivity and specicity. The OCTA-based correlation showed the power to differentiatethe mild NPDR eyes from the normal healthy and diabetic eyes. These results suggestthat texture-based features of OCTA have the potential to assist in the assessment of therapeuticinterventions to prevent early DR in diabetic subjects.

文摘In this paper,we report the detection of the very-high-energy(VHE,100 GeV<E<100 TeV)and ultra-high-energy(UHE,E>100 TeV)y-ray emissions from the direction of the young star-forming region W43,observed by the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observation(LHAASO).The extendedγ-ray source was detected with a significance of~16σby KM2A and~17σby WCDA,respectively.The angular extension of this y-ray source is about 0.5 degrees,corresponding to a physical size of about 50pc.We discuss the origin of theγ-ray emission and possible cosmic ray acceleration in the W43 region using multi-wavelength data.Our findings suggest that W43 is likely another young star cluster capable of accelerating cosmic rays(CRs)to at least several hundred TeV.

文摘We report the detection of an extended very-high-energy(VHE)γ-ray source coincident with the location of middle-aged(62.4 kyr)pulsar PSR J0248+6021,by using the LHAASO-WCDA data of live 796 d and LHAASO-KM2A data of live 1216d.A significant excess of y-ray induced showers is observed both by WCDA in energy bands of 1-25 TeV and KM2A in energy bands of>25 TeV with 7.3σand 13.5σ,respectively.The best-fit position derived through WCDA data is R.A.=42.06°±0.12°and Dec.=60.24°±0.13°with an extension of 0.69°±0.15°and that of the KM2A data is R.A.=42.29°±0.13°and Dec.=60.38°±0.07°with an extension of 0.37°±0.07°.No clear extended multiwavelength counterpart of this LHAASO source has been found from the radio band to the GeV band.The most plausible explanation of the VHEγ-ray emission is the inverse Compton process of highly relativistic electrons and positrons injected by the pulsar.These electrons/positrons are hypothesized to be either confined within the pulsar wind nebula or to have already escaped into the interstellar medium,forming a pulsar halo.

文摘We report a dedicated study of the newly discovered extended UHEγ-ray source 1LHAASO J0056+6346u.Analyzing 979 d of LHAASO-WCDA data and 1389 d of LHAASO-KM2A data,we observed a significant excess ofγ-ray events with both WCDA and KM2A.Assuming a point power-law source with a fixed spectral index,the significance maps reveal excesses of 12.65σ,22.18σ,and 10.24σin the energy ranges of 1-25,25-100,and>100 TeV,respectively.We use a 3D likelihood algorithm to derive the morphological and spectral parameters,and the source is detected with significances of 13.72σby WCDA and 25.27σby KM2A.The best-fit positions derived from WCDA and KM2A data are(R.A.=13.96°±0.09°,Decl.=63.92°±0.05°)and(R.A.=14.00°±0.05°,Decl.=63.79°±0.02°),respectively.The angular size(r_(39))of 1LHAASO J0056+6346u is 0.34°±0.04°at 1-25 TeV and 0.24°±0.02°at>25 TeV.The differential flux of this UHEγ-ray source can be described by an exponential cutoff power-law function:(2.67±0.25)×10^(-15)(E/20 TeV)^((-1.97±0.10))e^(-E/(55.1±7.2)TeV)TeV^(-1)cm^(-2)s^(-1).To explore potential sources ofγ-ray emission,we investigated the gas distribution around 1LHAASO J0056+6346u.1LHAASO J0056+6346u is likely to be a TeV PWN powered by an unknown pulsar,which would naturally explain both its spatial and spectral properties.Another explanation is that this UHEγ-ray source might be associated with gas content illuminated by a nearby CR accelerator,possibly the SNR candidate G124.0+1.4.

文摘The ultra-high-energy(UHE)gamma-ray source 1LHAASO J0007+7303u is positionally associated with the composite SNR CTA1 that is located at high Galactic Latitude b≈10.5°.This provides a rare opportunity to spatially resolve the component of the pulsar wind nebula(PWN)and supernova remnant(SNR)at UHE.This paper conducted a dedicated data analysis of 1LHAASO J0007+7303u using the data collected from December 2019 to July 2023.This source is well detected with significances of 21σand 17σat 8-100 TeV and>100 TeV,respectively.The corresponding extensions are determined to be 0.23°±0.03°and 0.17°±0.03°.The emission is proposed to originate from the relativistic electrons accelerated within the PWN of PSR J0007+7303.The energy spectrum is well described by a power-law with an exponential cutoff function dN/dE=(42.4±4.1)(E/20TeV)^(-2.31+0.11)exp(-E/(110±25Tev))TeV-1 cm^(-2)s^(-1)in the energy range from 8 to 300 TeV,implying a steady-state parent electron spectrum dN_(e)/dE_(e)∝(E_(e)/100TeV)^(-3.13±0.16)exp[(-E_(e)/(373±70TeV))^(2)]at energies above≈50 TeV.The cutoff energy of the electron spectrum is roughly equal to the expected current maximum energy of particles accelerated at the PWN terminal shock.Combining the X-ray and gamma-ray emission,the current space-averaged magnetic field can be limited to≈4.5μG.To satisfy the multi-wavelength spectrum and the y-ray extensions,the transport of relativistic particles within the PWN is likely dominated by the advection process under the free-expansion phase assumption.

文摘The superτ-charm facility(STCF)is an electron–positron collider proposed by the Chinese particle physics community.It is designed to operate in a center-of-mass energy range from 2 to 7 GeV with a peak luminosity of 0.5×10^(35) cm^(–2)·s^(–1) or higher.The STCF will produce a data sample about a factor of 100 larger than that of the presentτ-charm factory—the BEPCII,providing a unique platform for exploring the asymmetry of matter-antimatter(charge-parity violation),in-depth studies of the internal structure of hadrons and the nature of non-perturbative strong interactions,as well as searching for exotic hadrons and physics beyond the Standard Model.The STCF project in China is under development with an extensive R&D program.This document presents the physics opportunities at the STCF,describes conceptual designs of the STCF detector system,and discusses future plans for detector R&D and physics case studies.

文摘Theγ-ray emission from the W51 complex is widely acknowledged to be attributed to the interaction between the cosmic rays(CRs)accelerated by the shock of supernova remnant(SNR)W51C and the dense molecular clouds in the adjacent star-forming region,W51B.However,the maximum acceleration capability of W51C for CRs remains elusive.Based on observations conducted with the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LHAASO),we report a significant detection ofγrays emanating from the W51 complex,with energies from 2 to 200 TeV.The LHAASO measurements,for the first time,extend theγ-ray emission from the W51 complex beyond 100 TeV and reveal a significant spectrum bending at tens of TeV.By combining the"π^(0)-decay bump"featured data from Fermi-LAT,the broadbandγ-ray spectrum of the W51 region can be well-characterized by a simple pp-collision model.The observed spectral bending feature suggests an exponential cutoff at~400 TeV or a power-law break at~200 TeV in the CR proton spectrum,most likely providing the first evidence of SNRs serving as CR accelerators approaching the PeV regime.Additionally,two young star clusters within W51B could also be theoretically viable to produce the most energeticγrays observed by LHAASO.Our findings strongly support the presence of extreme CR accelerators within the W51 complex and provide new insights into the origin of Galactic CRs.
文摘First evidence of a structure in the J/ψΛinvariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of■b^(-)J/ψΛK^(-)decays.The observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark with strangeness with a significance of 3.1r including systematic uncertainties and lookelsewhere effect.Its mass and width are determined to be 4458:8±2:9t4:7-1:1 MeV and 17:3±6:5t8:0-5:7 MeV,respectively,where the quoted uncertainties are statistical and systematic.The structure is also consistent with being due to two resonances.In addition,the narrow excited■^(-)states,N■(1690)and■(1820),are seen for the first time in a■b^(-)decay,and their masses and widths are measured with improved precision.The analysis is performed using pp collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb^(-1),collected with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV.

文摘A search for the doubly charmed baryon ■^+cc is performed through its decay to theΛ^+c K^-π^+ final state,using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV.The data correspond to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb^-1.No significant signal is observed in the mass range from 3.4 to 3.8 GeV/c^2.Upper limits are set at 95%credibility level on the ratio of the ■^+cc production cross-section times the branching fraction to that ofΛ^+c and ■^++cc baryons.The limits are determined as functions of the ■^+cc mass for different lifetime hypotheses,in the rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and the transverse momentum range from 4 to 15 GeV/c.

文摘The production of ■baryons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of √s = 13 TeV is measured in the transverse-momentum range 4<pT<15GeV/c and the rapidity range2.0<y<4.5.The data used in this measurement correspond to an integrated luminosity of 1.7fb^-1,recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2016.The ratio of the ■ production cross-section times the branching fraction of the■→∧^+cK^-π^+ π^+decay relative to the prompt ∧^+c production cross-section is found to be(2.22±0.27±0.29)×10^-4,assuming the central value of the measured lifetime,where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.

文摘A first search for the Ξ_(bc)^(+)J/ψΞ_(c)^(+) decay is performed by the LHCb experiment with a data sample of proton-proton collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1 recorded at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. Two peaking structures are seen with a local (global) significance of 4.3(2.8) and 4.1(2.4) standard deviations at masses of 6571 and 6694 MeV/c2, respectively. Upper limits are set on the Ξ+bc baryon production cross-section times the branching fraction relative to that of the B+c→J/ψD+s decay at centre-of-mass energies of 8 and 13 TeV, in the Ξ+bc and in the B+c rapidity and transverse-momentum ranges from 2.0 to 4.5 and 0 to 20GeV/c, respectively. Upper limits are presented as a function of the Ξ+bc mass and lifetime.
