Efficient oxygen evolution in acidic electrolysis of water using copper loaded with iridium nanoclusters

Oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is a key step in hydrogen production by water electrolysis technology.How-ever,developing efficient,stable,and low-cost OER electrocatalysts is still challenging.This article presents the preparation of a series of novel copper iridium nanocatalysts with heterostructures and low iridium content for OER.The electrochemical tests revealed higher OER of Cu@Ir_(0.3) catalyst under acidic conditions with a generated current density of 10 mA/cm^(2) at only 284 mV overpotential.The corresponding OER mass activity was estimated to be 1.057 A/mgIr,a value 8.39-fold higher than that of the commercial IrO_(2).After 50 h of endurance testing,the Cu@Ir_(0.3) catalyst preserved excellent catalytic activity with a negligible rise in overpotential and maintained a good heterostructures.Cu@Ir_(0.3) The excellent OER activity can be attributed to its heterostructure,as con-firmed by density functional theory(DFT)calculations,indicating that Cu@Ir The coupling between isoquanta causes charge redistribution,optimizing the adsorption energy of unsaturated Ir sites for oxygen intermediates and reducing the energy barrier of OER free energy determining the rate step.In summary,this method provides a new approach for designing efficient,stable,and low iridium content OER catalysts. 展开更多

Natural products(NPs)have historically been a fundamental source for drug discovery.Yet the complex nature of NPs presents substantial challenges in pinpointing bioactive constituents,and corresponding targets.In the present study,an innovative natural product virtual screening-interaction-phenotype(NP-VIP)strategy that integrates virtual screening,chemical proteomics,and metabolomics to identify and validate the bioactive targets of NPs.This approach reduces false positive results and enhances the efficiency of target identification.Salvia miltiorrhiza(SM),a herb with recognized therapeutic potential against ischemic stroke(IS),was used to illustrate the workflow.Utilizing virtual screening,chemical proteomics,and metabolomics,potential therapeutic targets for SM in the IS treatment were identified,totaling 29,100,and 78,respectively.Further analysis via the NP-VIP strategy highlighted five high-confidence targets,including poly[ADP-ribose]polymerase 1(PARP1),signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3),amyloid precursor protein(APP),glutamate-ammonia ligase(GLUL),and glutamate decarboxylase 67(GAD67).These targets were subsequently validated and found to play critical roles in the neuroprotective effects of SM.The study not only underscores the importance of SM in treating IS but also sets a precedent for NP research,proposing a comprehensive approach that could be adapted for broader pharmacological explorations. 展开更多

The pre-weld heat treatment was carried out to obtain different initial microstructures of the GH4169 superalloy,and then Linear Friction Welding(LFW)was performed.The effect of the pre-weld heat treatment on the microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of the joint was analyzed,and the joint electrochemical corrosion behavior as well as the hot corrosion behavior was studied.The results show that the joint hardness of Base Metal(BM)increases after pre-weld heat treatment,and the strengthening phasesγ′andγ″further precipitate.However,the precipitation phases dissolve significantly in the Weld Zone(WZ)due to the thermal process of LFW.The corrosion resistance in BM is reduced after the pre-weld heat treatment,while it is similar in WZ with a slight decrease.The surface morphology of the BM and WZ can be generally divided into a loose and porous matrix and a scattered oxide particle layer after hot corrosion.The joint cross section exhibits a Cr-depleted zone with the diffusion of Cr to form an oxide film.The corrosion product mainly consists of Fe_(2)O_(3)/Fe_(3)O_(4) as the outer layer and Cr_(2)O_(3) as the inner layer. 展开更多

榕–传粉榕小蜂系统是研究动植物专性互惠共生关系的经典体系。早期形态学研究认为它们之间遵循一对一原则,即1种榕树只有1种榕小蜂为其传粉,而1种传粉榕小蜂也只能在1种榕树上繁殖后代。然而随着研究的深入,报道了越来越多非一对一共... 榕–传粉榕小蜂系统是研究动植物专性互惠共生关系的经典体系。早期形态学研究认为它们之间遵循一对一原则,即1种榕树只有1种榕小蜂为其传粉,而1种传粉榕小蜂也只能在1种榕树上繁殖后代。然而随着研究的深入,报道了越来越多非一对一共生关系的案例,尤其是隐存种的发现,打破了一对一原则在榕–传粉榕小蜂系统中的普适性。非一对一共生关系包括多种传粉者共现于1种宿主榕树和多种榕树共享1种传粉者两种情况,有各自不同的发生机制和规律。本文从形态学描述阶段、多学科综合证据阶段和传粉榕小蜂隐存种的发现3个阶段综述了榕–传粉榕小蜂非一对一共生关系的研究进展,并对其所引发的科学问题进行了探讨。多种传粉者共现于1种宿主榕树的情况,使得榕小蜂的种间杂交成为可能;而多种榕树共享1种传粉者,为宿主榕树的种间杂交提供了机会。然而,杂交事件的检出率却很低,暗示存在明显的生殖隔离。另外,传粉者共现和共享传粉者两种情况在不同性系统榕树上的发生率和发生机制存在明显差异,暗示不同性系统榕树的宿主专一性不同。大量小蜂隐存种的发现,引发了对其成种机制、共现机制的研究,以及对小蜂生物多样性的重新评估,并给人工控制实验的开展带来了新的问题。每个榕–传粉榕小蜂组合都具有其独特的协同进化历史,为研究动植物间的协同进化机制和规律提供了丰富素材。对榕–传粉榕小蜂专性互惠共生关系的形成、维持和打破机制开展综合研究,才能充分认识该系统,也有助于认识动植物间的协同进化过程和规律。 展开更多

Altermagnets represent a newly discovered class of magnetically ordered materials.Among all the candidates,CrSb stands out due to its largest spin splitting energy and highest Néel temperature exceeding 700 K,making it promising for room-temperature spintronic applications.Here we have successfully grown high quality CrSb(100)thin film on GaAs(110)substrate by molecular beam epitaxy.Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy,we successfully obtained the three-dimensional electronic structure of the thin film.Moreover,we observed the emergence of the altermagnetic splitting bands corresponding to the calculated results along the low symmetry pathsT-QandP-D.The bands near the Fermi level are only spin splitting bands along theP-Ddirection,with splitting energy reaching as high as 910 meV.This finding provides insights into the magnetic properties of CrSb thin films and paves the way for further studies on their electronic structure and potential applications in spintronics. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Abdominal cocoons(ACs)lack characteristic clinical manifestations and are main-ly intestinal obstructions that are difficult to distinguish from intestinal obstruc-tion caused by other causes,resulting in difficult preoperative diagnosis and misdiagnosis and mistreatment.There are no reports of enterostomy occlusion caused by ACs in the literature at home and abroad.CASE SUMMARY Here,we report a 16-year-old female patient with intestinal obstruction due to AC.She was treated with abdominal surgery three times.First,she underwent a laparotomy for peritonitis after trauma from a traffic accident.During the pro-cedure,pelvic empyema,severe intestinal adhesions,and damage to the serous layer of the rectum were found,but no significant intestinal rupture and perfo-ration were found.As a precaution,she underwent a prophylactic ileostomy after a flush in her abdomen.The second and third surgeries were for treatment of recurrent stoma obstruction.The patient’s condition was complicated for a long period,but after comprehensive treatment by our department,the patient was successfully discharged from the hospital and is currently recovering well.CONCLUSION Currently,abdominal contrast-enhanced computed tomography is the best imaging modality for pre-operative evaluation of AC,but most patients are diagnosed only after intrao-perative exploration.For the treatment of typical or severe ACs,the primary me-thod of removal and healing of ACs is complete removal of the abdominal fibrous membrane.Finding a breakthrough in the anatomy is the key to the success of the surgery. 展开更多

Dengue is a mosquito-borne disease that is rampant worldwide,with up to 70%of cases reported to be asymptomatic during epidemics.In this paper,a reaction-diffusion dengue model with asymptomatic carrier transmission is investigated.We aim to study the existence,nonexistence and minimum wave speed of traveling wave solutions to the model.The results show that the existence and nonexistence of traveling wave solutions are fully determined by the threshold values,which are,the basic reproduction number R0 and critical wave speed c^(*)>0.Specifically,when R0>1 and the wave speed c≥c^(*),the existence of the traveling wave solution is obtained by using Schauder's fixed point theorem and Lyapunov functional.It is proven that the model has no nontrivial traveling wave solutions for R0≤1 or R0>1 and 0<c<c^(*)by employing comparison principle and limit theory.As a consequence,we conclude that the critical wave speed c^(*)is the minimum wave speed of the model.Finally,numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the effects of several important parameters on the minimum wave speed. 展开更多

杂交是生物进化的重要方式和新物种的重要来源,在植物界普遍存在,但在不同植物类群中的发生率差异很大。高度专性传粉体系中,宿主植物和传粉者经历长期协同进化,形成远高于其他物种的互利共生机制和合子前生殖壁垒,被认为不太可能发生... 杂交是生物进化的重要方式和新物种的重要来源,在植物界普遍存在,但在不同植物类群中的发生率差异很大。高度专性传粉体系中,宿主植物和传粉者经历长期协同进化,形成远高于其他物种的互利共生机制和合子前生殖壁垒,被认为不太可能发生种间杂交。榕树和传粉榕小蜂是动植物间专性传粉关系的典范,甚至发展出一对一高度专性关系。但随着研究的深入,发现了一定程度的宿主转移现象,引发学者对榕树种间杂交的研究和探讨。本文从人工杂交、外来种和本地种杂交、岛屿种自然杂交、同域分布近缘种自然杂交,以及利用系统发育不一致推测杂交等5个方面,综述了榕树种间杂交的研究进展,并对未来研究进行展望。同一亚属内人工榕树种间杂交F1代一般可育,不同亚属榕树的种间杂交亲和性强度在不同性系统上表现有所不同。种间存在单向或不对称的双向基因流,依赖专性传粉榕小蜂传粉可能使得渐渗杂交成为榕树种间杂交的主要方式。一系列的合子前隔离机制,包括化学隔离、形态隔离、地理隔离、生态隔离、季节隔离等有效维持了榕树物种在遗传和形态上的完整性;而合子后隔离作用较弱,传粉榕小蜂在非专性宿主上的繁殖适合度一般表现为显著降低。未来有待在评估杂交对榕树生物多样性和榕–传粉榕小蜂共生体系稳定性的影响,分析榕树天然杂交带的杂交模式,以及探讨影响宿主转移和榕树杂交的因素等方面开展深入研究。 展开更多

In the post-lithium-ion battery era,potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)show great potential due to their high energy density and economic competitiveness from abundant potassium resources.In comparison with traditional organic electrolytes,aqueous electrolytes bring lower costs,higher safety,and more environmentally friendly preparation processes for PIBs.Against this background,aqueous PIBs(APIBs)have gradually become a research hotspot in the past few years.Cathodes,a critical component of APIBs,directly affect energy density,safety,and stability.Herein,this review systematically summarizes the research progress of typical APIB cathode materials,some breakthrough investigations of which are highlighted.Meanwhile,material synthesis methods,electrolyte design strategies,electrochemical performance optimization pathways,and electrochemical reaction mechanisms are introduced briefly.Finally,the current challenges and corresponding improvement strategies are proposed to provide a reference for further development. 展开更多

The angiogenic response is essential for the repair of ischemic brain tissue.Integrin α6(Itga6)expression has been shown to increase under hypoxic conditions and is expressed exclusively in vascular structures;however,its role in post-ischemic angiogenesis remains poorly understood.In this study,we demonstrate that mice with endothelial cell-specific knockout of Itga6 exhibit reduced neovascularization,reduced pericyte coverage on microvessels,and accelerated breakdown of microvascular integrity in the peri-infarct area.In vitro,endothelial cells with ITGA6 knockdown display reduced proliferation,migration,and tube-formation.Mechanistically,we demonstrated that ITGA6 regulates post-stroke angiogenesis through the PI3K/Akt-eNOS-VEGFA axis.Importantly,the specific overexpression of Itga6 in endothelial cells significantly enhanced neovascularization and enhanced the integrity of microvessels,leading to improved functional recovery.Our results suggest that endothelial cell Itga6 plays a crucial role in key steps of post-stroke angiogenesis,and may represent a promising therapeutic target for promoting recovery after stroke. 展开更多

Because of its low price and simple design, Ti-based hydrogen storage alloys are considered to be suitable for practical applications. In this paper, we review the latest research on Ti-based hydrogen storage alloys. Firstly, the machine learning and density functional theory are introduced to provide theoretical guidance for the optimization of Ti-based hydrogen storage alloys. Then, in order to improve the hydrogen storage performance, we briefly introduce the research of AB type and AB2 type Ti-based alloys, focusing on doping elements and adaptive after treatment. 研究生物氧化产生的黄钾铁矾对酸性硫脲浸金的影响,并探讨草酸添加剂的作用机制。结果表明,黄钾铁矾会增加硫脲的消耗和阻碍金的溶解。黄钾铁矾能显著提高硫脲的分解,阻碍金的溶解。黄钾铁矾造成不利影响的主要原因可能是酸性溶液中黄... 研究生物氧化产生的黄钾铁矾对酸性硫脲浸金的影响,并探讨草酸添加剂的作用机制。结果表明,黄钾铁矾会增加硫脲的消耗和阻碍金的溶解。黄钾铁矾能显著提高硫脲的分解,阻碍金的溶解。黄钾铁矾造成不利影响的主要原因可能是酸性溶液中黄钾铁矾释放的铁离子使溶液浆电位增加,从而加速硫脲的分解,并加剧硫脲分解产生的钝化物种对金表面的钝化作用。添加草酸盐可以有效削弱黄钾铁矾的不利影响,表现为明显降低硫脲的消耗和促进金的溶解。通过溶液电位、Zeta电位和XPS分析,揭示草酸的可能作用机理。草酸盐不仅可以通过与Fe^(3+)配位减弱Fe^(3+)与硫脲之间的相互作用,还可以通过无差别吸附和静电斥力阻止钝化产物在金表面包裹。 展开更多

目的探讨血浆Sesn2、肝细胞生长因子(HGF)与老年慢性心力衰竭(CHF)患者心功能的关系及其对CHF的预测价值。方法选取2016年4月—2019年5月于北京市第二医院收治的CHF患者150例,依据NYHA心功能分级标准分为Ⅱ级组、Ⅲ级组及Ⅳ级组;另选择... 目的探讨血浆Sesn2、肝细胞生长因子(HGF)与老年慢性心力衰竭(CHF)患者心功能的关系及其对CHF的预测价值。方法选取2016年4月—2019年5月于北京市第二医院收治的CHF患者150例,依据NYHA心功能分级标准分为Ⅱ级组、Ⅲ级组及Ⅳ级组;另选择同期该院健康体检者50例作为对照组。比较各组血浆HGF、Sesn2、N末端脑钠肽前体(NT-proBNP)水平、左心室质量指数(LVMI)和超声心动图指标,分析CHF患者血浆HGF、Sesn2与NT-proBNP、LVMI及超声心动图指标的相关性。结果Ⅳ级组血浆HGF、Sesn2、NT-proBNP及LVMI较Ⅲ级组高,LVEDD较Ⅲ级组厚,LVEF较Ⅲ级组低(P<0.05);Ⅲ级组血浆HGF、Sesn2、NT-proBNP水平及LVMI较Ⅱ级组高,LVEDD较Ⅱ级组厚,LVEF较Ⅱ级组低(P<0.05);Ⅱ级组血浆HGF、Sesn2、NT-proBNP水平及LVMI较对照组高,LVEDD较对照组厚,LVEF较对照组低(P<0.05)。CHF患者血浆HGF、Sesn2与NT-proBNP、LVEDD及LVMI呈正相关(P<0.05),与LVEF呈负相关(P<0.05)。Sesn2预测CHF的截断值为15.16 ng/ml,敏感性为85.6%(95%CI:0.746,0.913),特异性为70.9%(95%CI:0.681,0.806);HGF预测CHF的截断值为204.61 ng/ml,敏感性为54.9%(95%CI:0.433,0.672),特异性为68.8%(95%CI:0.534,0.771)。结论老年CHF患者血浆HGF、Sesn2水平异常升高,且与NT-proBNP、LVEDD及LVMI呈正相关,对老年CHF具有较好的预测价值。 展开更多

Impact of one satellite outage on ARAIM depleted constellation configurations 被引量:12

Advanced Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring(ARAIM) is a new technology that will provide worldwide coverage of vertical guidance in aviation navigation. The ARAIM performance and improvement under depleted constellations is a practical problem that needs to be faced and researched further. It is a shortcut that improves the availability in position domain whose key idea is to replace the conventional least squares process with a non-least-squares estimator to lower the integrity risk in exchange for a slight increase in nominal position error. The contributions given in this paper include two parts: First, the impacts of one satellite outage on different constellations are analyzed and compared. The conclusion is that GPS is more sensitive and vulnerable to one satellite outage. Second, a constellation weighted ARAIM(CW-ARAIM)position estimator is proposed. The position solution is replaced by a constellation weighted average solution to eliminate the constellation difference. The new solution will move close to the constellation solutions with respect to the accuracy requirement. The simulation results under baseline GPS and Galileo dual-constellation show that the one GPS satellite outage will knock the availability from 91% to only 50%. The performance remains stable with one Galileo satellite outage. With the assistance of the CW-ARAIM method, the availability can increase from 50% to more than80% under depleted GPS configurations. Even without any satellite outage, the proposed method can effectively improve the availability from 91.29% to 98.75%. The test results under optimistic constellations further verify that a balanced constellation is more important than more satellites on orbit and the superiority of CW-ARAIM method is still effective. 展开更多

Solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)has been widely recognized as the most important and the least understood component in lithium batteries.Considering the intrinsic instability in both chemical and mechanical,the failure of SEI is inevitable and strongly associated with the performance decay of practical working batteries.In this Review,the failure mechanisms and the corresponding regulation strategies of SEI are focused.Firstly,the fundamental properties of SEI,including the formation principles,and the typical composition and structures are briefly introduced.Moreover,the common SEI failure modes involving thermal failure,chemical failure,and mechanical failure are classified and discussed,respectively.Beyond that,the regulation strategies of SEI with respect to different failure modes are further concluded.Finally,the future endeavor in further disclosing the mysteries of SEI is prospected. 展开更多
