Objective:To investigate the anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,and goblet cell-stimulating effects of a suspension of Ophiopogon japonicus(L.f.)Ker Gawl.(O.japonicus,Mai Dong)extract combined with hyaluronic acid(HA)in th...Objective:To investigate the anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,and goblet cell-stimulating effects of a suspension of Ophiopogon japonicus(L.f.)Ker Gawl.(O.japonicus,Mai Dong)extract combined with hyaluronic acid(HA)in the mouse model with dry eye disease(DED).Methods:A DED mouse model was induced using benzalkonium chloride(BAK),followed by treatment with O.japonicus extract-containing eye drops at varying concentrations.Experimental groups included a normal control,a DED model control,a positive control,and an O.japonicus extract-treated group.Corneal fluorescein staining and tear break-up time(TBUT)were used to assess tear film stability and ocular surface integrity.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)measured inflammatory factor levels in corneal and conjunctival tissues,whereas Western blot(WB)analyzed key antioxidant and inflammatory markers,including nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor(2Nrf2)and heme oxygenase 1(HO-1).Periodic acid-schiff(PAS)staining and immunofluorescence were used to evaluate goblet cell density and mucin secretion.Results:O.japonicus extract significantly improved corneal damage,reduced fluorescein staining scores,prolonged TBUT,and increased tear secretion.It downregulated inflammatory markers,including interleukin-8(IL-8),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),and interferon-g(IFN-γ)while upregulating Nrf2,HO-1,and the interleukin-13(IL-13)/IFN-γ ratio,alleviating oxidative stress and inflammation.PAS staining showed increased conjunctival goblet cell density and restored mucin secretion,enhancing tear film stability.Conclusion:O.japonicus extract demonstrated significant anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,and goblet cell-stimulating effects in a DED model,with good biocompatibility and promising therapeutic potential.Future research should optimize extraction processes and validate their efficacy and safety in clinical settings.展开更多
Epilepsy is a devastating neurological condition that affects over 70 million people worldwide.Apart from idiopathic epilepsy,numerous diseases have been reported to cause secondary epilepsy.Polyphenols,ubiquitously e...Epilepsy is a devastating neurological condition that affects over 70 million people worldwide.Apart from idiopathic epilepsy,numerous diseases have been reported to cause secondary epilepsy.Polyphenols,ubiquitously existing in fruits and vegetables,has become a promising neuroprotective candidate against multiple neurological abnormalities due to its interplay with gut microbiome composed of the bacterial population in gastrointestinal system.This bioactive compound is also being tested for the management of epileptogenesis.However,there is still insufficient evidence from mechanistic studies to demonstrate the causal relationship between anti-epileptic effect of polyphenols and microbial alteration.In this review,we provide the brief overview of epilepsy,polyphenols and gut microbiota.We then analysis the association of polyphenols and gut microbiota particularly in the epilepsy and symptomatic seizures-induced by epilepsy related disorders.We also discuss the possibility for the combined application with probiotics to improve the bioavailability and bioaccessibility of polyphenols for expanding its anti-epileptic function.We finally summarize the therapeutic potential of anti-seizure polyphenols through affecting gut microbiome,and propose that the anti-epileptic effect of polyphenols may be tightly relevant to intestinal bacterial flora for overcoming epilepsy and its comorbidities simultaneously.Therefore,the dietary polyphenols targeting specific bacteria may achieve the outcome of‘one stone,two birds’.展开更多

Background:Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome(CP/CPPS)is a frequently encountered disorder characterized by voiding symptoms and pelvic or perineal pain.Proinflammatory T helper 17(Th17)cells are essenti...Background:Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome(CP/CPPS)is a frequently encountered disorder characterized by voiding symptoms and pelvic or perineal pain.Proinflammatory T helper 17(Th17)cells are essential for triggering the development of CP/CPPS.High-salt diet(HSD)consumption has been found to cause an accumulation of sodium chloride in peripheral organs,inducing autoimmune responses via the Th17 cell axis.It is currently unknown whether HSD affects the etiology and course of CP/CPPS.Methods:Patients diagnosed with CP/CPPS were evaluated with the National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index scoring system,and the correlation between the symptoms of CP/CPPS with HSD was analyzed.The experimental autoimmune prostatitis(EAP)mouse was established and the mice were fed either a normal-salt diet(NSD)or HSD for 6 weeks to investigate the impact of HSD on CP/CPPS.Then,16S ribosomal RNA sequencing and untargeted metabolomics were introduced to detect the differences in the gut microflora composition and metabolite profiles between NSD-fed and HSD-fed mice,followed by fecal microbiota transplantation,5-hydroxyindole acetic acid(5-HIAA)supplementation,aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AHR)inhibition,and in vitro Th17 differentiation experiments,which were performed to explore the mechanisms underlying HSD-aggravated CP/CPPS.Finally,chromatin immunoprecipitation assay and quantitative polymerase chain reaction were conducted to validate whether AHR can serve as a transcription factor by interacting with the serum and glucocorticoid-regulated kinase 1(Sgk1)promoter in CD4^(+)T cells.Results:Increased salt consumption had a positive correlation with symptom scores of CP/CPPS patients,which was validated by feeding EAP mice with HSD,and HSD worsened the prostate inflammation and tactile allodynia in EAP mice through promoting the differentiation of CD4^(+)T cells to Th17 cells.HSD exacerbated EAP by significantly reducing the relative abundance of beneficial gut microflora,such as Lactobacillaceae,and gut microbiota metabolite 5-HIAA,which is related to tryptophan metabolism.The prostate inflammation,tactile allodynia,and proportion of Th17 cells in mice that received fecal suspensions from the EAP^(+)HSD group were significantly more severe or higher than those in mice that received fecal suspensions from the EAP^(+)NSD group.However,5-HIAA supplementation ameliorated the symptoms of EAP caused by HSD through inhibiting the differentiation of CD4^(+)T cells to Th17 cells,while AHR inhibition abrogated the protective effects of 5-HIAA supplementation on EAP mice fed a HSD through promoting the differentiation of CD4^(+)T cells to Th17 cells.Mechanistically,it has been revealed that the SGK1/forkhead box protein O1(FOXO1)pathway was significantly activated during cytokine-induced Th17 cell differentiation,and AHR has been shown to inhibit SGK1 transcription by interacting with the Sgk1 promoter in CD4^(+)T cells to inhibit FOXO1 phosphorylation,consequently restoring the equilibrium of Th17 cell differentiation.Conclusions:Our findings indicated that high salt intake represented a risk factor for the development of CP/CPPS as it promoted the differentiation of CD4^(+)T cells to Th17 cells through the 5-HIAA/AHR/SGK1/FOXO1 axis,which might be a potential therapeutic target for CP/CPPS.展开更多

Bulk metallic glasses(BMGs)are typically characterized by high strength and elasticity.However,they generally demonstrate a deficiency in plastic deformation capability at room temperatures.In this work,Cu_(50-x)Zr_(4...Bulk metallic glasses(BMGs)are typically characterized by high strength and elasticity.However,they generally demonstrate a deficiency in plastic deformation capability at room temperatures.In this work,Cu_(50-x)Zr_(46)Al4Agx(x=0,1,2,3,4)alloys were prepared by arc melting and copper mold casting to investigate their structure,glass-forming ability,and mechanical properties.The results show that the addition of Ag can increase the parameter of DTx and g in Cu_(50)Zr_(46)Al_(4)alloy by 116%and 1.5%respectively,effectively enhancing its thermal stability and glass-forming ability.Compressive fracture tests reveal that the addition of Ag can significantly improve the yield strength,ultimate strength,and plasticity of the Cu_(50)Zr_(46)Al_(4)alloy.Specifically,with the Ag addition of 1 at.%,the alloy’s ultimate strength and plasticity increased by 71.8%and 21 times,respectively.Furthermore,the introduction of Ag can effectively control the free volume content in the Cu_(50)Zr_(46)Al_(4)alloy,thereby tuning the hardness of the material.This work provides valuable insights into improving the mechanical performance of BMGs through micro-alloying approaches.展开更多

Once the condition of EP is delayed, it may lead to massive hemorrhage, shock, and even death in a short time, seriously threatening the patient’s life. Early diagnosis is the key to preventing and improving the prognosis of EP.Transabdominal ultrasound(TAS) and transvaginal ultrasound(TVS) are the main diagnostic methods for abdominal diseases. The purpose of this study is to explore the application value and effect of TAS and TVS in the diagnosis of EP,hoping to provide more valuable references for the diagnosis of EP.AIM To explore the application value of TAS and TVS in the diagnosis of EP and to improve the level of clinical diagnosis.METHODS A total of 140 patients with EP admitted to our hospital from July 2018 to July 2020 were selected for this study. All patients were divided into two groups according to the examination methods. 63 patients who underwent abdominal ultrasound examination were set as the TAS group, while 77 patients who underwent TVS examination were set as the TVS group. We compared the diagnostic accuracy and misdiagnosis rates between the two types of ultrasound examinations, as well as the postoperative pathological results of the two diagnostic methods for different types of ectopic pregnancies. We also analyzed the sonograms for the presence of mixed ectopic masses,adnexal masses, ectopic gestational sacs, the presence or absence of visible embryo and fetal heart in the ectopic sac shadow, and the detection of fluid in the rectal fossa of the uterus, such as the adnexal area, yolk sac, and embryo, etc. In addition, the diagnosis time, days of gestational sac appearance, operation time, endometrial thickness, and blood flow resistance index were compared as well.RESULTS After performing both types of ultrasound examinations in 140 patients with EP, we found that the diagnostic accuracy of TVS was significantly higher than that of TAS, and the misdiagnosis rate was significantly lower than that of TAS. The differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05). In addition, the detection rate of TVS was better than that of TAS for the presence of mixed masses,adnexal masses, ectopic gestational sacs, the presence or absence of visible embryo and fetal heart in the shadow of the ectopic sac, and sonograms such as the adnexal area, yolk sac, and embryo,etc. The coincidence rate of its postoperative pathological examination results was significantly higher than those of TAS. The diagnosis time and the days of gestational sac appearance by TVS were significantly shorter than that by TAS, and the operation time was earlier than that by TAS.What’s more, the detection rates of the endometrial thickness £ 1.5 mm and blood flow resistance £0.5 were significantly higher in TVS diagnosis of EP than in TAS. All differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION Compared with TAS, TVS has the advantages of high detection accuracy and good sonogram performance.展开更多
Understanding the emission sources of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)is critical for air pollution mitigation.Continuous measurements of atmospheric VOCs were conducted from January to February in Hangzhou in 2021.Th...Understanding the emission sources of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)is critical for air pollution mitigation.Continuous measurements of atmospheric VOCs were conducted from January to February in Hangzhou in 2021.The average measured concentration of total VOCs(TVOCs)was 38.2±20.9 ppb,>42% lower than that reported by previous studies at the urban center in Hangzhou.The VOC concentrations and proportions were similar between weekdays and weekends.During the long holidays of the Spring Festival in China,the concentrations of TVOCs were∼50% lower than those during the regular days,but their profiles showed no significant difference(p>0.05).Further,we deduced that aromatics and alkenes were the most crucial chemicals promoting the formation of O3 and secondary organic aerosol(SOA)in Hangzhou.According to interspecies correlations,combustion processes and solvent use were inferred as major VOC emission sources.This study provides implications for air quality improvements before and during the upcoming Asian Games that will be hosted in Hangzhou in 2022.展开更多

To reduce the hemorr...Nattokinase(NK), which has been identified as a potent fibrinolytic protease, has remarkable potential in treatment of thrombolysis, and even has the ability to ameliorate chronic vein thrombosis. To reduce the hemorrhagic risk from an intravenous injection of NK,nattokinase-tauroursodeoxycholate(NK-TUDCA) complex was prepared at different pH values and with different ratios of NK and TUDCA. When assessing survival time, survival state,tail injury, and the body weight of mice, it was found that the NK-TUDCA complex(NK: 10 k IU/ml; TUDCA: 10 mg/ml; pH 5.0) had a lower toxicity when administered at an NK dosage of 130 kIU/kg in the acute toxicity test and 13 kIU/kg in the repeated low-dose challenge. From the results of the in vitro thrombolytic test and characterization of NKTUDCA, we speculated that the delayed release of NK-TUDCA might be the main cause of toxicity reduction by the complex. This study described the preparation of an NK complex with low toxicity following intravenous administration, which could be utilized for further clinical study of NK.展开更多

In this paper, the commonly used array signal processing(ASP) methods to estimate channel parameters are summarized. Firstly, algorithms that can be used to estimate azimuth angle of arrival(AAo A) and elevation Ao A(EAo A) are introduced. They include multiple signal classification(MUSIC), estimation of signal parameter via rotational invariance techniques(ESPRIT), and Unitary ESPRIT algorithms. Secondly, algorithms that can be used to jointly estimate delay, AAo A, and EAo A are given. They include joint angle and delay estimation(JADE) MUSIC, JADE ESPRIT, shift-invariance(SI) JADE, and space-alternating generalized expectation-maximization(SAGE) algorithms. We also propose an improved SIJADE algorithm to further reduce computation complexity by incorporating with the Unitary ESPRIT algorithm. Performance of the above algorithms to extract only spatial information and to jointly extract temporal and spatial information is compared in both synthetic and 60 GHz real channel environments. Simulation results show that with the inclusion of delay estimation, the joint temporal and spatial estimation algorithms can provide better resolution than algorithms estimating only angles.Measurement data processing results show that MUSIC algorithm can provide comparable results with SAGE algorithm in estimating AAoA and EAoA. SI-JADE and the improved SI-JADE algorithms are also applicable to process 60 GHz channel measurement data.However, MUSIC, SI-JADE, and the improved SI-JADE algorithms can greatly reduce computational burden compared with SAGE algorithm. Objective: This study aimed to assess and compare the clinical efficacy and safety of acupuncture and related therapies(ARTs) add-on to conventional treatment(CT) for heart failure(HF) through pairwise and network met...Objective: This study aimed to assess and compare the clinical efficacy and safety of acupuncture and related therapies(ARTs) add-on to conventional treatment(CT) for heart failure(HF) through pairwise and network meta-analyses.Methods: Six electronic databases, including PubMed, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(CENTRAL), EMBASE, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM), China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and Wanfang Database were searched from inceptions to December 2017. Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) regarding ARTs combining with CT for HF were eligible. The primary outcomes were changes in heart function classification(HFC) according to New York Heart Association class and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF). Risk of bias assessment was conducted by two independent authors.Pairwise and network meta-analyses were performed using STATA 13.0 and WinBUGS 1.4.3 software.Results: A total of 26 RCTs were enrolled for analyses, with 5 kinds of ARTs and 2116 patients in all. Pairwise meta-analyses showed that acupoint application(OR: 3.28, 95%CI[2.26, 4.76]), acupuncture(OR: 2.78, 95%CI[1.21, 6.41]), acupoint injection(OR: 3.33, 95%CI[1.85, 6.00]) and moxibustion(OR: 2.51,95%CI[1.02, 6.21]) could significantly improve HFC when they were used as add-on to CT. Acupoint application(MD: 3.57, 95%CI[ 1.45, 5.70]),acupuncture(MD: 7.75, 95%CI[2.33. 13.17]). acupoint injection(MD:4.81, 95%CI[2.99, 6.63]) and moxibustion(MD: 6.99, 95%CI[3.62, 10.36]) were significantly beneficial in improving LVEF. Network meta-analyses showed that acupoint injection(SUCRA = 70.0%) and acupuncture(SUCRA = 90.4%) respectively had the greatest probability in improving HFC and LVEF.Conclusion: Most of the included ARTs add-on to CT was effective in improving HFC and LVEF. Acupoint injection and acupuncture may respectively have better effect than others for HFC and LVEF. However,due to the small sample size and poor quality of the included studies, hence well-designed RCTs are needed to confirm our findings.This study was registered in PROSPERO, CRD42018087700.展开更多
BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world,which is seriously threatening the lives of patients.Due to the rapid development of the disease,patients were in the mid...BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world,which is seriously threatening the lives of patients.Due to the rapid development of the disease,patients were in the middle and advanced stages at the time of diagnosis and missed the best time for treatment.With the development of minimally invasive medicine,interventional therapy for advanced HCC has achieved promising results.Transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)and transarterial radioembolization(TARE)are currently recognized as effective treatments.This study aimed to investigate the clinical value and safety of TACE alone and combined with TACE in the treatment of progression in patients with advanced HCC and to find a breakthrough for the early diagnosis and treatment of patients with advanced HCC.AIM To investigate the efficacy and safety of hepatic TACE and TARE in advanced descending hepatectomy.METHODS In this study,218 patients with advanced HCC who were treated in the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital from May 2016 to May 2021 were collected.Of the patients,119 served as the control group and received hepatic TACE,99 served as the observation group and were treated with hepatic TACE combined with TARE.The patients in two groups were compared in terms of lesion inactivation,tumor nodule size,lipiodol deposition,serum alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)level in different periods,postoperative complications,1-year survival rate,and clinical symptoms such as liver pain,fatigue,and abdominal distension,and adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting.RESULTS The observation group and the control group had good efficacy in treatment efficiency,reduction of tumor nodules,reduction of postoperative AFP value,reduction of postoperative complications,and relief of clinical symptoms.In addition,compared with the control group,the treatment efficiency,reduction of tumor nodules,reduction of AFP value,reduction of postoperative complications,and relief of clinical symptoms in the observation group were better than those in the TACE group alone.Patients in the TACE+TARE group had a higher 1-year survival rate after surgery,lipiodol deposition was significantly increased and the extent of tumor necrosis was expanded.The overall incidence of adverse reactions in the TACE+TARE group was lower than that in the TACE group,and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Compared with TACE alone,TACE combined with TARE is more effective in the treatment of patients with advanced HCC.It also improves postoperative survival rate,reduces adverse effects,and has a better safety profile.展开更多

文摘Epilepsy is a devastating neurological condition that affects over 70 million people worldwide.Apart from idiopathic epilepsy,numerous diseases have been reported to cause secondary epilepsy.Polyphenols,ubiquitously existing in fruits and vegetables,has become a promising neuroprotective candidate against multiple neurological abnormalities due to its interplay with gut microbiome composed of the bacterial population in gastrointestinal system.This bioactive compound is also being tested for the management of epileptogenesis.However,there is still insufficient evidence from mechanistic studies to demonstrate the causal relationship between anti-epileptic effect of polyphenols and microbial alteration.In this review,we provide the brief overview of epilepsy,polyphenols and gut microbiota.We then analysis the association of polyphenols and gut microbiota particularly in the epilepsy and symptomatic seizures-induced by epilepsy related disorders.We also discuss the possibility for the combined application with probiotics to improve the bioavailability and bioaccessibility of polyphenols for expanding its anti-epileptic function.We finally summarize the therapeutic potential of anti-seizure polyphenols through affecting gut microbiome,and propose that the anti-epileptic effect of polyphenols may be tightly relevant to intestinal bacterial flora for overcoming epilepsy and its comorbidities simultaneously.Therefore,the dietary polyphenols targeting specific bacteria may achieve the outcome of‘one stone,two birds’.

文摘The microstructure and texture evolutions during extrusion and rolling processes of the 2195 Al−Li alloy were investigated.The EBSD technique was employed to reveal the microscopic evolution mechanisms of different texture components.The findings reveal that the texture evolution is governed by two mechanisms:an overall orientation transformation induced by plastic strain and a localized transformation occurring at the shearing bands within grains.During the rolling process,the extrusion texture components of Ex{123}<111>and Cu{112}<111>evolve into S{123}<634>,and the Bs{011}<211>rotates into the orientations near R-Bs and S.With increasing deformation,the S,Bs,and R-Bs orientations further rotate around the TD axis and disperse into new orientations,forming recrystallized grains.The shearing bands with different initial orientations exhibit similar orientation evolution patterns,all of which evolve from the initial orientation to a series of recrystallization orientations.

文摘Background:Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome(CP/CPPS)is a frequently encountered disorder characterized by voiding symptoms and pelvic or perineal pain.Proinflammatory T helper 17(Th17)cells are essential for triggering the development of CP/CPPS.High-salt diet(HSD)consumption has been found to cause an accumulation of sodium chloride in peripheral organs,inducing autoimmune responses via the Th17 cell axis.It is currently unknown whether HSD affects the etiology and course of CP/CPPS.Methods:Patients diagnosed with CP/CPPS were evaluated with the National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index scoring system,and the correlation between the symptoms of CP/CPPS with HSD was analyzed.The experimental autoimmune prostatitis(EAP)mouse was established and the mice were fed either a normal-salt diet(NSD)or HSD for 6 weeks to investigate the impact of HSD on CP/CPPS.Then,16S ribosomal RNA sequencing and untargeted metabolomics were introduced to detect the differences in the gut microflora composition and metabolite profiles between NSD-fed and HSD-fed mice,followed by fecal microbiota transplantation,5-hydroxyindole acetic acid(5-HIAA)supplementation,aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AHR)inhibition,and in vitro Th17 differentiation experiments,which were performed to explore the mechanisms underlying HSD-aggravated CP/CPPS.Finally,chromatin immunoprecipitation assay and quantitative polymerase chain reaction were conducted to validate whether AHR can serve as a transcription factor by interacting with the serum and glucocorticoid-regulated kinase 1(Sgk1)promoter in CD4^(+)T cells.Results:Increased salt consumption had a positive correlation with symptom scores of CP/CPPS patients,which was validated by feeding EAP mice with HSD,and HSD worsened the prostate inflammation and tactile allodynia in EAP mice through promoting the differentiation of CD4^(+)T cells to Th17 cells.HSD exacerbated EAP by significantly reducing the relative abundance of beneficial gut microflora,such as Lactobacillaceae,and gut microbiota metabolite 5-HIAA,which is related to tryptophan metabolism.The prostate inflammation,tactile allodynia,and proportion of Th17 cells in mice that received fecal suspensions from the EAP^(+)HSD group were significantly more severe or higher than those in mice that received fecal suspensions from the EAP^(+)NSD group.However,5-HIAA supplementation ameliorated the symptoms of EAP caused by HSD through inhibiting the differentiation of CD4^(+)T cells to Th17 cells,while AHR inhibition abrogated the protective effects of 5-HIAA supplementation on EAP mice fed a HSD through promoting the differentiation of CD4^(+)T cells to Th17 cells.Mechanistically,it has been revealed that the SGK1/forkhead box protein O1(FOXO1)pathway was significantly activated during cytokine-induced Th17 cell differentiation,and AHR has been shown to inhibit SGK1 transcription by interacting with the Sgk1 promoter in CD4^(+)T cells to inhibit FOXO1 phosphorylation,consequently restoring the equilibrium of Th17 cell differentiation.Conclusions:Our findings indicated that high salt intake represented a risk factor for the development of CP/CPPS as it promoted the differentiation of CD4^(+)T cells to Th17 cells through the 5-HIAA/AHR/SGK1/FOXO1 axis,which might be a potential therapeutic target for CP/CPPS.

文摘Refractory metals and their alloys have excellent properties such as high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance.It is widely used in aerospace,electronics industry and other fields.However,refractory alloys are prone to oxidation and failure in high-temperature service environments.The preparation of a MoSi_(2) antioxidant coating is an effective method for improving the protective ability of refractory metals at high temperatures.However,although MoSi_(2) coatings have many advantages,it is difficult to meet the increasingly stringent service requirements.To address these challenges,researchers have used different elements to modify a single MoSi_(2) coating and improve its overall oxidation resistance.In this study,the roles of one or more elements(Si,B,N,Zr,Al,W,Hf,Y,Ti and Cr)in MoSi_(2) coatings are systematically reviewed.Simultaneously,the mechanism of single or multiple synergistic modification of MoSi_(2) coatings with different elements was discussed.Finally,the development prospects of MoSi_(2) coating modification of refractory metals and their alloys are discussed.

文摘Bulk metallic glasses(BMGs)are typically characterized by high strength and elasticity.However,they generally demonstrate a deficiency in plastic deformation capability at room temperatures.In this work,Cu_(50-x)Zr_(46)Al4Agx(x=0,1,2,3,4)alloys were prepared by arc melting and copper mold casting to investigate their structure,glass-forming ability,and mechanical properties.The results show that the addition of Ag can increase the parameter of DTx and g in Cu_(50)Zr_(46)Al_(4)alloy by 116%and 1.5%respectively,effectively enhancing its thermal stability and glass-forming ability.Compressive fracture tests reveal that the addition of Ag can significantly improve the yield strength,ultimate strength,and plasticity of the Cu_(50)Zr_(46)Al_(4)alloy.Specifically,with the Ag addition of 1 at.%,the alloy’s ultimate strength and plasticity increased by 71.8%and 21 times,respectively.Furthermore,the introduction of Ag can effectively control the free volume content in the Cu_(50)Zr_(46)Al_(4)alloy,thereby tuning the hardness of the material.This work provides valuable insights into improving the mechanical performance of BMGs through micro-alloying approaches.

文摘BACKGROUND Ectopic pregnancy(EP) is one of the most common acute abdominal diseases in gynecology. Once the condition of EP is delayed, it may lead to massive hemorrhage, shock, and even death in a short time, seriously threatening the patient’s life. Early diagnosis is the key to preventing and improving the prognosis of EP.Transabdominal ultrasound(TAS) and transvaginal ultrasound(TVS) are the main diagnostic methods for abdominal diseases. The purpose of this study is to explore the application value and effect of TAS and TVS in the diagnosis of EP,hoping to provide more valuable references for the diagnosis of EP.AIM To explore the application value of TAS and TVS in the diagnosis of EP and to improve the level of clinical diagnosis.METHODS A total of 140 patients with EP admitted to our hospital from July 2018 to July 2020 were selected for this study. All patients were divided into two groups according to the examination methods. 63 patients who underwent abdominal ultrasound examination were set as the TAS group, while 77 patients who underwent TVS examination were set as the TVS group. We compared the diagnostic accuracy and misdiagnosis rates between the two types of ultrasound examinations, as well as the postoperative pathological results of the two diagnostic methods for different types of ectopic pregnancies. We also analyzed the sonograms for the presence of mixed ectopic masses,adnexal masses, ectopic gestational sacs, the presence or absence of visible embryo and fetal heart in the ectopic sac shadow, and the detection of fluid in the rectal fossa of the uterus, such as the adnexal area, yolk sac, and embryo, etc. In addition, the diagnosis time, days of gestational sac appearance, operation time, endometrial thickness, and blood flow resistance index were compared as well.RESULTS After performing both types of ultrasound examinations in 140 patients with EP, we found that the diagnostic accuracy of TVS was significantly higher than that of TAS, and the misdiagnosis rate was significantly lower than that of TAS. The differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05). In addition, the detection rate of TVS was better than that of TAS for the presence of mixed masses,adnexal masses, ectopic gestational sacs, the presence or absence of visible embryo and fetal heart in the shadow of the ectopic sac, and sonograms such as the adnexal area, yolk sac, and embryo,etc. The coincidence rate of its postoperative pathological examination results was significantly higher than those of TAS. The diagnosis time and the days of gestational sac appearance by TVS were significantly shorter than that by TAS, and the operation time was earlier than that by TAS.What’s more, the detection rates of the endometrial thickness £ 1.5 mm and blood flow resistance £0.5 were significantly higher in TVS diagnosis of EP than in TAS. All differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION Compared with TAS, TVS has the advantages of high detection accuracy and good sonogram performance.

文摘Understanding the emission sources of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)is critical for air pollution mitigation.Continuous measurements of atmospheric VOCs were conducted from January to February in Hangzhou in 2021.The average measured concentration of total VOCs(TVOCs)was 38.2±20.9 ppb,>42% lower than that reported by previous studies at the urban center in Hangzhou.The VOC concentrations and proportions were similar between weekdays and weekends.During the long holidays of the Spring Festival in China,the concentrations of TVOCs were∼50% lower than those during the regular days,but their profiles showed no significant difference(p>0.05).Further,we deduced that aromatics and alkenes were the most crucial chemicals promoting the formation of O3 and secondary organic aerosol(SOA)in Hangzhou.According to interspecies correlations,combustion processes and solvent use were inferred as major VOC emission sources.This study provides implications for air quality improvements before and during the upcoming Asian Games that will be hosted in Hangzhou in 2022.
文摘Nattokinase(NK), which has been identified as a potent fibrinolytic protease, has remarkable potential in treatment of thrombolysis, and even has the ability to ameliorate chronic vein thrombosis. To reduce the hemorrhagic risk from an intravenous injection of NK,nattokinase-tauroursodeoxycholate(NK-TUDCA) complex was prepared at different pH values and with different ratios of NK and TUDCA. When assessing survival time, survival state,tail injury, and the body weight of mice, it was found that the NK-TUDCA complex(NK: 10 k IU/ml; TUDCA: 10 mg/ml; pH 5.0) had a lower toxicity when administered at an NK dosage of 130 kIU/kg in the acute toxicity test and 13 kIU/kg in the repeated low-dose challenge. From the results of the in vitro thrombolytic test and characterization of NKTUDCA, we speculated that the delayed release of NK-TUDCA might be the main cause of toxicity reduction by the complex. This study described the preparation of an NK complex with low toxicity following intravenous administration, which could be utilized for further clinical study of NK.

文摘Temporal and three-dimensional(3 D) spatial information is important for the characterization of wireless channels. In this paper, the commonly used array signal processing(ASP) methods to estimate channel parameters are summarized. Firstly, algorithms that can be used to estimate azimuth angle of arrival(AAo A) and elevation Ao A(EAo A) are introduced. They include multiple signal classification(MUSIC), estimation of signal parameter via rotational invariance techniques(ESPRIT), and Unitary ESPRIT algorithms. Secondly, algorithms that can be used to jointly estimate delay, AAo A, and EAo A are given. They include joint angle and delay estimation(JADE) MUSIC, JADE ESPRIT, shift-invariance(SI) JADE, and space-alternating generalized expectation-maximization(SAGE) algorithms. We also propose an improved SIJADE algorithm to further reduce computation complexity by incorporating with the Unitary ESPRIT algorithm. Performance of the above algorithms to extract only spatial information and to jointly extract temporal and spatial information is compared in both synthetic and 60 GHz real channel environments. Simulation results show that with the inclusion of delay estimation, the joint temporal and spatial estimation algorithms can provide better resolution than algorithms estimating only angles.Measurement data processing results show that MUSIC algorithm can provide comparable results with SAGE algorithm in estimating AAoA and EAoA. SI-JADE and the improved SI-JADE algorithms are also applicable to process 60 GHz channel measurement data.However, MUSIC, SI-JADE, and the improved SI-JADE algorithms can greatly reduce computational burden compared with SAGE algorithm. At last, some future directions are pointed out.

文摘Objective: This study aimed to assess and compare the clinical efficacy and safety of acupuncture and related therapies(ARTs) add-on to conventional treatment(CT) for heart failure(HF) through pairwise and network meta-analyses.Methods: Six electronic databases, including PubMed, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(CENTRAL), EMBASE, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM), China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and Wanfang Database were searched from inceptions to December 2017. Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) regarding ARTs combining with CT for HF were eligible. The primary outcomes were changes in heart function classification(HFC) according to New York Heart Association class and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF). Risk of bias assessment was conducted by two independent authors.Pairwise and network meta-analyses were performed using STATA 13.0 and WinBUGS 1.4.3 software.Results: A total of 26 RCTs were enrolled for analyses, with 5 kinds of ARTs and 2116 patients in all. Pairwise meta-analyses showed that acupoint application(OR: 3.28, 95%CI[2.26, 4.76]), acupuncture(OR: 2.78, 95%CI[1.21, 6.41]), acupoint injection(OR: 3.33, 95%CI[1.85, 6.00]) and moxibustion(OR: 2.51,95%CI[1.02, 6.21]) could significantly improve HFC when they were used as add-on to CT. Acupoint application(MD: 3.57, 95%CI[ 1.45, 5.70]),acupuncture(MD: 7.75, 95%CI[2.33. 13.17]). acupoint injection(MD:4.81, 95%CI[2.99, 6.63]) and moxibustion(MD: 6.99, 95%CI[3.62, 10.36]) were significantly beneficial in improving LVEF. Network meta-analyses showed that acupoint injection(SUCRA = 70.0%) and acupuncture(SUCRA = 90.4%) respectively had the greatest probability in improving HFC and LVEF.Conclusion: Most of the included ARTs add-on to CT was effective in improving HFC and LVEF. Acupoint injection and acupuncture may respectively have better effect than others for HFC and LVEF. However,due to the small sample size and poor quality of the included studies, hence well-designed RCTs are needed to confirm our findings.This study was registered in PROSPERO, CRD42018087700.
文摘BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world,which is seriously threatening the lives of patients.Due to the rapid development of the disease,patients were in the middle and advanced stages at the time of diagnosis and missed the best time for treatment.With the development of minimally invasive medicine,interventional therapy for advanced HCC has achieved promising results.Transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)and transarterial radioembolization(TARE)are currently recognized as effective treatments.This study aimed to investigate the clinical value and safety of TACE alone and combined with TACE in the treatment of progression in patients with advanced HCC and to find a breakthrough for the early diagnosis and treatment of patients with advanced HCC.AIM To investigate the efficacy and safety of hepatic TACE and TARE in advanced descending hepatectomy.METHODS In this study,218 patients with advanced HCC who were treated in the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital from May 2016 to May 2021 were collected.Of the patients,119 served as the control group and received hepatic TACE,99 served as the observation group and were treated with hepatic TACE combined with TARE.The patients in two groups were compared in terms of lesion inactivation,tumor nodule size,lipiodol deposition,serum alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)level in different periods,postoperative complications,1-year survival rate,and clinical symptoms such as liver pain,fatigue,and abdominal distension,and adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting.RESULTS The observation group and the control group had good efficacy in treatment efficiency,reduction of tumor nodules,reduction of postoperative AFP value,reduction of postoperative complications,and relief of clinical symptoms.In addition,compared with the control group,the treatment efficiency,reduction of tumor nodules,reduction of AFP value,reduction of postoperative complications,and relief of clinical symptoms in the observation group were better than those in the TACE group alone.Patients in the TACE+TARE group had a higher 1-year survival rate after surgery,lipiodol deposition was significantly increased and the extent of tumor necrosis was expanded.The overall incidence of adverse reactions in the TACE+TARE group was lower than that in the TACE group,and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Compared with TACE alone,TACE combined with TARE is more effective in the treatment of patients with advanced HCC.It also improves postoperative survival rate,reduces adverse effects,and has a better safety profile.
