Automated classification of gas flow states in blast furnaces using top-camera imagery typically demands a large volume of labeled data,whose manual annotation is both labor-intensive and cost-prohibitive.To mitigate ...Automated classification of gas flow states in blast furnaces using top-camera imagery typically demands a large volume of labeled data,whose manual annotation is both labor-intensive and cost-prohibitive.To mitigate this challenge,we present an enhanced semi-supervised learning approach based on the Mean Teacher framework,incorporating a novel feature loss module to maximize classification performance with limited labeled samples.The model studies show that the proposed model surpasses both the baseline Mean Teacher model and fully supervised method in accuracy.Specifically,for datasets with 20%,30%,and 40%label ratios,using a single training iteration,the model yields accuracies of 78.61%,82.21%,and 85.2%,respectively,while multiple-cycle training iterations achieves 82.09%,81.97%,and 81.59%,respectively.Furthermore,scenario-specific training schemes are introduced to support diverse deployment need.These findings highlight the potential of the proposed technique in minimizing labeling requirements and advancing intelligent blast furnace diagnostics.展开更多

Filopodia function as cellular sensors,detecting the microenvironment and directing cell migration.They play a crucial role in cancer metastasis.Quantifying the filopodia characteristics of cancer cells is a prerequis...Filopodia function as cellular sensors,detecting the microenvironment and directing cell migration.They play a crucial role in cancer metastasis.Quantifying the filopodia characteristics of cancer cells is a prerequisite for studying the complex role of filopodia in cancer cell metastasis.Several algorithms have been developed,yet most of these algorithms are typically suited for extracting filopodia from individual cells.This paper aims to develop an independent algorithm(MC-FiloAssay)for quantifying filopodia in multi-cell environments.The filopodia of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells(CNE2 and 5-8F)and normal nasopharyngeal epithelial cells(NP69)were quantified with MC-FiloAssay.A linear regression analysis comparing filopodia lengths measured by MC-FiloAssay and manual annotation yielded a coefficient of determination(R^(2)=0.99),indicating high accuracy in multi-cell filopodia extraction.Furthermore,MC-FiloAssay outperforms existing algorithms under low signal conditions and in multi-cell fields of view.Analysis of CNE2 cells at different confluences revealed that confluence does not affect filopodia length or width but influences filopodia density.Additionally,significant differences were observed between CNE2 and the other two cell lines(5-8 F and NP69):CNE2 filopodia were longer,thinner,and more densely distributed.These results demonstrate that MCFiloAssay is a robust tool for multi-cell filopodia quantification.展开更多
BACKGROUND Chronic hepatitis B(CHB)patients rarely achieve functional cure with initial pegylated interferon alpha-2b(Peg-IFNα-2b)therapy.Validated tools to guide retreatment candidates are lacking.We hypothesized th...BACKGROUND Chronic hepatitis B(CHB)patients rarely achieve functional cure with initial pegylated interferon alpha-2b(Peg-IFNα-2b)therapy.Validated tools to guide retreatment candidates are lacking.We hypothesized that clinical indicators predict hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)clearance during retreatment.AIM To develop a prediction model for HBsAg clearance in Peg-IFNα-2b retreatment.METHODS In this retrospective cohort study,we enrolled 135 CHB/compensated cirrhosis patients receiving Peg-IFNα-2b retreatment after initial non-clearance at Tianjin University Central Hospital(2017-2025).Predictors were identified through univariate Cox,least absolute shrinkage and selection operator,and multivariate Cox regression.Model performance was assessed via receiver operating characteristic analysis and Harrell’s C-index,with risk stratification by X-tile optimization.RESULTS HBsAg clearance rate was 20.74%(28/135).Independent predictors included:Combination nucleos(t)ide analogue(NA)therapy during initial treatment[hazard ratio(HR)=0.276,95%confidence interval(CI):0.092-0.833],baseline HBsAg at retreatment(HR=0.571,95%CI:0.410-0.795),HBsAg decline after initial treatment(HR=2.050,95%CI:1.108-3.793),and treatment interval(HR=1.013/week,95%CI:1.008-1.018).The retreatment HBsAg clearance prediction score(RHCP-S)demonstrated area under the curve of 0.920(95%CI:0.863-0.946),sensitivity of 92.3%,specificity of 79.3%.Clearance rates differed significantly:RHCP-S challenge group(≤74 points):3.45%,RHCP-S probable group(74-110 points):29.63%,RHCP-S dominant group(≥110 points):80.95%(P<0.001).CONCLUSION The overall HBsAg clearance rate with Peg-IFNα-2b retreatment was 20.74%(28/135).The RHCP-S model identifies optimal retreatment candidates(≥110 points)with 80.95%clearance probability,associated with the absence of combination NA therapy during initial treatment,greater initial HBsAg decline,longer intervals,and lower retreatment HBsAg.展开更多

为探讨养殖废水中兽用抗生素对湿地系统中氮素转化及相关微生物过程的影响,以养殖废水中常见的抗生素SD(磺胺嘧啶)为例,设置0、10、100和1000μg L 4个添加浓度开展模拟试验.通过qPCR(实时荧光定量PCR)技术,测定了湿地底泥中氨氧化和反...为探讨养殖废水中兽用抗生素对湿地系统中氮素转化及相关微生物过程的影响,以养殖废水中常见的抗生素SD(磺胺嘧啶)为例,设置0、10、100和1000μg L 4个添加浓度开展模拟试验.通过qPCR(实时荧光定量PCR)技术,测定了湿地底泥中氨氧化和反硝化功能基因丰度,结合Pearson相关分析,分析了养殖废水中不同氮素形态与底泥中氮转化功能基因丰度的关联性.结果表明:①与CK组比较,添加SD对湿地TN的最终去除效果无显著性差异,4个处理组的TN去除率为75.4%~80.5%,但在培养前期(0~14 d),SD对水体NH _(4)^(+)-N和NO_(3)^(-)-N转化的抑制率最高分别达53.0%和99.5%,随着SD浓度的增加,抑制作用越强,到培养后期(14~28 d),各处理水体中不同形态的氮浓度无显著差异.②由qPCR测试结果得出,湿地底泥中AOA(氨氧化古菌)的丰度比AOB(氨氧化细菌)高出1~2个数量级,表明AOA在氨氧化过程中起主导作用,另外在培养第7天,AOB发生显著抑制现象,对SD更敏感;与CK相比,在第7天和第14天,反硝化基因narG、nirS、nirK和nosZ丰度随SD浓度的增加而逐渐降低.③相关性分析结果表明,AOA与ρ(NH _(4)^(+)-N)呈极显著正相关(P<0.01),AOB与ρ(NO_(3)^(-)-N)呈极显著正相关(P<0.01),nirK与ρ(NO _(2)^(-)-N)呈极显著正相关(P<0.01).研究显示,SD能抑制湿地底泥中氮转化微生物及相关氮转化过程,且SD浓度越大,抑制作用也越大,但随着培养时间的增加抑制作用会减弱.展开更多

However, problems of low penetration depth, local overheating and fracture closure exist. Coal demineralisation by acids has advantages in coal unblocking and permeability improvement, while it is difficult for acid to enter microcracks.Microwave-asisted acidification may offer an alternative. In this work, XRD,^(1)H-NMR, and SEM were used to evaluate the effect of microwave-assisted acidification on the microstructure of coal. Results show that kaolinite, calcite, and dolomite can be dissolved by acid. After microwave irradiation, the graphitization of microcrystalline structure of carbon improves. Microwave-assisted acidification erodes minerals in coal and enhances the graphitization degree of microcrystalline structure. Compared to individual microwave irradiation or acidification, the pore volume and pore connectivity can be greatly enhanced by microwave-assisted acidification. The NMR permeability of coal increased by 28.05%. This study demonstrates the potential of microwave-assisted acidification for coalbed methane recovery.展开更多
Levodopa is the gold-standard treatment for Parkinson's disease.However,although it alleviates the clinical symptoms,it cannot delay the progressive apoptosis of dopaminergic neurons or prevent motor complications...Levodopa is the gold-standard treatment for Parkinson's disease.However,although it alleviates the clinical symptoms,it cannot delay the progressive apoptosis of dopaminergic neurons or prevent motor complications in the long term.In the present study,we investigated the effect of Shudipingchan granule on neuronal apoptosis in a rat model of Parkinson's disease,established by injecting 6-hydroxydopamine into the substantia nigra pars compacta and ventral tegmental area.We then administered levodopa(20 mg/kg intraperitoneally,twice daily)with or without Shudipingchan granule(7.5 mL/kg intragastrically,twice daily),for 4 weeks.The long-term use of levodopa accel-erated apoptosis of nigral cells and worsened behavioral symptoms by activating the extracellular signal-regulated kinase pathway and downstream apoptotic factors.However,administration of Shudipingchan granule with levodopa reduced expression of phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 and Bax,increased tyrosine hydroxylase and Bcl-2,reduced apoptosis in the substantia nigra,and markedly improved dyskinesia.These findings suggest that Shudipingchan granule suppresses neuronal apoptosis by inhibiting the hyper-phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase and downregulating expression of anti-apoptotic genes.Shudipingchan granule,used in combination with levodopa,can effectively reduce the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.展开更多
Determining the minimal duration of status epilepticus (SE) that leads to the development of subsequent spontaneous seizures (i.e., epilepsy) is important, because it provides a critical timewindow for seizure int...Determining the minimal duration of status epilepticus (SE) that leads to the development of subsequent spontaneous seizures (i.e., epilepsy) is important, because it provides a critical timewindow for seizure intervention and epilepsy prevention. In the present study, male ICR (imprinting Control Region) mice were injected with pilocarpine to induce acute sei zures. SE was terminated by diazepam at 10 min, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h and 4 h after seizure onset. Spon taneous seizures occurred in the 1, 2 and 4 h SE groups, and the seizure frequency increased with the prolongation of SE. Similarly, the Morris water maze revealed that the escape latency was significantly increased and the number of target quadrant cross ings was markedly decreased in the 1, 2 and 4 h SE groups. Robust mossy fiber sprouting was observed in these groups, but not in the 10 or 30 min group. In contrast, FluoroJade B staining revealed significant cell death only in the 4 h SE group. The incidence and frequency of spontaneous seizures were corre lated with Timm score (P = 0.004) and escape latency (P = 0.004). These data suggest that SE longer than one hour results in spontaneous motor seizures and memory deficits, and spontaneous seizures are likely associated with robust mossy fiber sprouting but not neuronal death.展开更多

The diurnal variations in the geoelectric field waveforms were similar in the quiet magnetic periods when K〈5 (generally, K〈3 indicates a quiet time). The arrival time points of the maxima in the geoelectric field waveforms exhibited differences in local time related to geographic longitude. The amplitude of diurnal variation was several to 16.6 mV/km and decreased with increasing latitude. Further, the amplitude of diurnal variation, which was related to seasonal changes, was larger in summer and autumn than in spring and winter. The periods of diurnal changes during quiet days were 24, 12, 8, 6, 4 hours and several minutes over large areas. Finally, the observed diurnal variations in geoelectric field prior to the Alxa Zuoqi Ms5.8 earthquake on 15 April 2015 were studied, and pronounced changes in the spectral values of the geoelectric fields were found to be associated with the Alxa Zuoqi earthquake in Inner Mongolia.展开更多
Levodopa preparations remain the preferred drug for Parkinson's disease.However,long-term use of levodopa may lead to a series of motor complications.Previous studies have shown that the combination of levodopa and Z...Levodopa preparations remain the preferred drug for Parkinson's disease.However,long-term use of levodopa may lead to a series of motor complications.Previous studies have shown that the combination of levodopa and Zishenpingchan granules(consisting of Radix Rehmanniae preparata,Lycium barbarum,Herba Taxilli,Rhizoma Gastrodiae,Stiff Silkorm,Curcuma phaeocaulis,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Rhizoma Arisaematis,Scorpio and Centipede) can markedly improve dyskinesia and delay the progression of Parkinson's disease,with especially dramatic improvements of non-motor symptoms.However,the efficacy of this combination has not been confirmed by randomized controlled trials.The current study was approved by the Hospital Ethics Committee and was registered in the Chinese Clinical Trial Register(registration number:Chi CTR-INR-1701194).From December 2014 to December 2016,128 patients(72 males and 56 females,mean age of 65.78 ± 6.34 years) with Parkinson's disease were recruited from the Department of Neurology of Longhua Hospital and Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.Patients were equally allocated into treatment and control groups.In addition to treatment with dopamine,patients in treatment and control groups were given Zishenpingchan granules or placebo,respectively,for 24 weeks.Therapeutic efficacy was assessed using the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale,on-off phenomenon,Hoehn-Yahr grade,Scales for Outcomes in Parkinson's disease–Autonomic,Parkinson's disease sleep scale,Hamilton Anxiety Scale,Hamilton Depression Scale,Mini-Mental State Examination,and the Parkinson's Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire.Artificial neural networks were used to determine weights at which to scale these parameters.Our results demonstrated that Zishenpingchan granules significantly reduced the occurrence of motor complications,and were useful for mitigating dyskinesia and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease.This combination of Chinese and Western medicine has the potential to reduce levodopa dosages,and no obvious side effects were found.These findings indicate that Zishenpingchan granules can mitigate symptoms of Parkinson's disease,reduce toxic side effects of dopaminergic agents,and exert synergistic and detoxifying effects.展开更多

文摘Microwave heating contributes to coal fracturing and gas desorption. However, problems of low penetration depth, local overheating and fracture closure exist. Coal demineralisation by acids has advantages in coal unblocking and permeability improvement, while it is difficult for acid to enter microcracks.Microwave-asisted acidification may offer an alternative. In this work, XRD,^(1)H-NMR, and SEM were used to evaluate the effect of microwave-assisted acidification on the microstructure of coal. Results show that kaolinite, calcite, and dolomite can be dissolved by acid. After microwave irradiation, the graphitization of microcrystalline structure of carbon improves. Microwave-assisted acidification erodes minerals in coal and enhances the graphitization degree of microcrystalline structure. Compared to individual microwave irradiation or acidification, the pore volume and pore connectivity can be greatly enhanced by microwave-assisted acidification. The NMR permeability of coal increased by 28.05%. This study demonstrates the potential of microwave-assisted acidification for coalbed methane recovery.

文摘Levodopa is the gold-standard treatment for Parkinson's disease.However,although it alleviates the clinical symptoms,it cannot delay the progressive apoptosis of dopaminergic neurons or prevent motor complications in the long term.In the present study,we investigated the effect of Shudipingchan granule on neuronal apoptosis in a rat model of Parkinson's disease,established by injecting 6-hydroxydopamine into the substantia nigra pars compacta and ventral tegmental area.We then administered levodopa(20 mg/kg intraperitoneally,twice daily)with or without Shudipingchan granule(7.5 mL/kg intragastrically,twice daily),for 4 weeks.The long-term use of levodopa accel-erated apoptosis of nigral cells and worsened behavioral symptoms by activating the extracellular signal-regulated kinase pathway and downstream apoptotic factors.However,administration of Shudipingchan granule with levodopa reduced expression of phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 and Bax,increased tyrosine hydroxylase and Bcl-2,reduced apoptosis in the substantia nigra,and markedly improved dyskinesia.These findings suggest that Shudipingchan granule suppresses neuronal apoptosis by inhibiting the hyper-phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase and downregulating expression of anti-apoptotic genes.Shudipingchan granule,used in combination with levodopa,can effectively reduce the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.

文摘Determining the minimal duration of status epilepticus (SE) that leads to the development of subsequent spontaneous seizures (i.e., epilepsy) is important, because it provides a critical timewindow for seizure intervention and epilepsy prevention. In the present study, male ICR (imprinting Control Region) mice were injected with pilocarpine to induce acute sei zures. SE was terminated by diazepam at 10 min, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h and 4 h after seizure onset. Spon taneous seizures occurred in the 1, 2 and 4 h SE groups, and the seizure frequency increased with the prolongation of SE. Similarly, the Morris water maze revealed that the escape latency was significantly increased and the number of target quadrant cross ings was markedly decreased in the 1, 2 and 4 h SE groups. Robust mossy fiber sprouting was observed in these groups, but not in the 10 or 30 min group. In contrast, FluoroJade B staining revealed significant cell death only in the 4 h SE group. The incidence and frequency of spontaneous seizures were corre lated with Timm score (P = 0.004) and escape latency (P = 0.004). These data suggest that SE longer than one hour results in spontaneous motor seizures and memory deficits, and spontaneous seizures are likely associated with robust mossy fiber sprouting but not neuronal death.

文摘In China, efforts are being made to monitor geoelectric fields through a large network of stations deployed and managed by the China Earthquake Administration. The diurnal variations in the geoelectric field waveforms were similar in the quiet magnetic periods when K〈5 (generally, K〈3 indicates a quiet time). The arrival time points of the maxima in the geoelectric field waveforms exhibited differences in local time related to geographic longitude. The amplitude of diurnal variation was several to 16.6 mV/km and decreased with increasing latitude. Further, the amplitude of diurnal variation, which was related to seasonal changes, was larger in summer and autumn than in spring and winter. The periods of diurnal changes during quiet days were 24, 12, 8, 6, 4 hours and several minutes over large areas. Finally, the observed diurnal variations in geoelectric field prior to the Alxa Zuoqi Ms5.8 earthquake on 15 April 2015 were studied, and pronounced changes in the spectral values of the geoelectric fields were found to be associated with the Alxa Zuoqi earthquake in Inner Mongolia.

文摘Levodopa preparations remain the preferred drug for Parkinson's disease.However,long-term use of levodopa may lead to a series of motor complications.Previous studies have shown that the combination of levodopa and Zishenpingchan granules(consisting of Radix Rehmanniae preparata,Lycium barbarum,Herba Taxilli,Rhizoma Gastrodiae,Stiff Silkorm,Curcuma phaeocaulis,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Rhizoma Arisaematis,Scorpio and Centipede) can markedly improve dyskinesia and delay the progression of Parkinson's disease,with especially dramatic improvements of non-motor symptoms.However,the efficacy of this combination has not been confirmed by randomized controlled trials.The current study was approved by the Hospital Ethics Committee and was registered in the Chinese Clinical Trial Register(registration number:Chi CTR-INR-1701194).From December 2014 to December 2016,128 patients(72 males and 56 females,mean age of 65.78 ± 6.34 years) with Parkinson's disease were recruited from the Department of Neurology of Longhua Hospital and Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.Patients were equally allocated into treatment and control groups.In addition to treatment with dopamine,patients in treatment and control groups were given Zishenpingchan granules or placebo,respectively,for 24 weeks.Therapeutic efficacy was assessed using the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale,on-off phenomenon,Hoehn-Yahr grade,Scales for Outcomes in Parkinson's disease–Autonomic,Parkinson's disease sleep scale,Hamilton Anxiety Scale,Hamilton Depression Scale,Mini-Mental State Examination,and the Parkinson's Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire.Artificial neural networks were used to determine weights at which to scale these parameters.Our results demonstrated that Zishenpingchan granules significantly reduced the occurrence of motor complications,and were useful for mitigating dyskinesia and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease.This combination of Chinese and Western medicine has the potential to reduce levodopa dosages,and no obvious side effects were found.These findings indicate that Zishenpingchan granules can mitigate symptoms of Parkinson's disease,reduce toxic side effects of dopaminergic agents,and exert synergistic and detoxifying effects.
