We propose a new design of the high channel capacity in Mobile Ad Hoc Network that uses the dense wave-length division multiplexing wavelength enhancement, in which the increasing in channel capacity and sig-nal security can be provided. The increasing in number of channel can be obtained by the increasing in wavelength density, while the security is introduced by the specific wavelength filter, which is operated by the Ad Hoc node operator and link with other nodes in coverage by dedicated one-to-one in direct or relay node. The optical communication wavelength enhancement is reviewed. The advantage is that the proposed system can be implemented and used incorporating with the existed communication link in both infrastruc-ture-based and Ad Hoc networks wireless network, where the privacy can be provided, which is discussed in details. 展开更多

We present the novel system of molecular distributed sensors using dark soliton pulse array, whereas the multi dark soliton sources can be generated and the molecular distributed sensors presented via an optical multiplexer (MUX). Initially, the dark soliton array with different center wavelengths can be generated, then the transmission molecules/atoms can be secured by using the dark soliton behaviors, whereas the dark soliton valley can be configured as the molecule/atom trapping potential well, which can be used to trap molecule/atom. In this case, the transported molecules/atoms in the router can be used to form the molecular distributed sensors, whereas the induced changes in the molecular distributed sensors can be formed and measured via the drop port of each output multiplexer. 展开更多

A novel design of molecular networks for drug delivery application using a PANDA ring resonator is proposed. By using the intense optical vortices generated within the PANDA ring resonator, the required molecules can be trapped and moved (transported) dynamically within the wavelength router and bus networks, in which the required drug delivery can perform within the wavelength router before reaching the required destination. PANDA ring is a modified optical add/drop filter. It is a name of Chinese bear, which is used to name the device by the authors. The advantage of the proposed system is that the drug delivery networks can perform within the tiny system (thin film device), where the large molecular drug networks such as ring, star and bus networks are also proposed, in which the applications such as Alzheimers’ and Parkinson diagnosis, blood circulation networks and in situ surgery operation are discussed. 展开更多

In this work, we have evaluated the biosensing capability of the porous silicon (PSi) based sidewall Bragg-grating resonator. The approximation of the quasi-TE mode full vector for the eigenmode calculation is performed using a full vector mode solver. The transmission spectra of the device are evaluated using the transfer matrix method. We have observed a shift in the resonant band for a change in the refractive index of biomaterial in the upper cladding region. The theoretical value of the bulk sensitivity is calculated to be 387.48nm/RIU. The device is suitable for biosensing application due to its ability of interacting signal with the infiltrated analytes in the PSi waveguide core. 展开更多
