Objective: to analyze the effect of rehabilitation nursing on neurological function of patients with epilepsy secondary to stroke. Methods: 74 patients with epilepsy secondary to stroke admitted to our hospital from M...Objective: to analyze the effect of rehabilitation nursing on neurological function of patients with epilepsy secondary to stroke. Methods: 74 patients with epilepsy secondary to stroke admitted to our hospital from March 2018 to April 2020 were included in the study and randomly divided into study group and control group with 37 patients with epilepsy secondary to stroke respectively. Routine nursing was given to the control group and rehabilitation nursing was given to the patients in the study group. Before and after nursing, the neurological function and health status, future view, cognitive function, physical function, emotional function and other dimensions of quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results: before nursing, there was no significant difference in neurological function between the two groups of patients with epilepsy secondary to stroke. After nursing, the improvement of neurological function in the study group was significantly better than that in the control group, with significant difference (P < 0.05). The scores of quality of life, health status, future view, cognitive function, physical function, emotional function and other dimensions of patients with epilepsy secondary to stroke in the study group were significantly better than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application of rehabilitation nursing to the clinical nursing of patients with epilepsy secondary to stroke can effectively improve the neurological function of the patients and effectively improve the scores of all dimensions of the patient's quality of life. The application effect is excellent and should be popularized and applied in the future clinical nursing.展开更多

Methods: many patients with cerebral infarction in our hospital since 2018...Objective: to analyze the application effect of personalized psychological nursing intervention in nursing care of senile cerebral infarction. Methods: many patients with cerebral infarction in our hospital since 2018 were selected and randomly classified. According to different treatment methods, they were treated and cared and their mental health level and treatment effect were compared. The first group was given some routine nursing intervention without extra treatment. The second group was given individualized nursing, and the differences between them were compared. The results showed that there was no significant difference in mental health level between the two groups before nursing, but the physical health level of patients who could receive special care after nursing was obviously better than that of those who did not receive special care, and the difference was relatively large. According to the statistical significance, some personalized nursing for the elderly can improve the mental health of patients to a certain extent, improve the treatment effect and relieve the pain of patients and their families. The application effect is particularly good, which can be applied and popularized in future clinical nursing.展开更多
Insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF1)is a regulator of both cellular hypertrophy and lipogenesis,which are two key processes for pathogenesis of obesity.However,the in vivo role of IGF1 in the development of obesity rema...Insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF1)is a regulator of both cellular hypertrophy and lipogenesis,which are two key processes for pathogenesis of obesity.However,the in vivo role of IGF1 in the development of obesity remains unclear.Here,we show that IGF1 expression is increased in adipose tissue in obese human patients and animal models.Elevation of IGF1 is associated with increased lipogenic gene expression and decreased energy expenditure.Genetic down-regulation of IGF1 normalizes lipogenic gene expression,restores aberrant energy metabolism and alleviates obese phenotype of a genetic mouse model with IGF1-hypersecretion.Importantly,genetic down-regulation of IGF1 exerts similar effects on development of diet-induced obesity.Furthermore,berberine that is an AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)activator in medicinal herbs inhibits IGF1 secretion,decreases lipogenic gene expression and alleviates diet-induced adiposity.Collectively,our findings demonstrate that hypersecretion of IGF1 is a critical factor for the development of obesity and can be targeted using AMPK activators to alleviate obesity.展开更多

Single-atom catalysts(SACs)have become an emerging frontier trend in the field of heterogeneous catalysis due to their high activity,selectivity and stability.SACs could greatly increase the availabilities of the acti...Single-atom catalysts(SACs)have become an emerging frontier trend in the field of heterogeneous catalysis due to their high activity,selectivity and stability.SACs could greatly increase the availabilities of the active metal atoms in many catalytic reactions by reducing the size to single atom scale.Graphene-supported metal SACs have also drawn considerable attention due to the unique lattice structure and physicochemical properties of graphene,resulting in superior activity and selectivity for several chemical reactions.In this paper,we review recent progress in the fabrications,advanced characterization tools and advantages of graphene-supported metal SACs,focusing on their applications in catalytic reactions such as CO oxidation,the oxidation of benzene to phenol,hydrogen evolution reaction,methanol oxidation reaction,oxygen reduction reaction,hydrogenation and photoelectrocatalysis.We also propose the development of SACs towards industrialization in the future.展开更多
Energy status is linked to the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS)in macrophages,which is elevated in obesity.However,it is unclear how ROS production is upregulated in macrophages in response to energy overloa...Energy status is linked to the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS)in macrophages,which is elevated in obesity.However,it is unclear how ROS production is upregulated in macrophages in response to energy overload for mediating the development of obesity.Here,we show that the Rab-GTPase activating protein(Rab GAP)TBC1D1,a substrate of the energy sensor AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK),is a critical regulator of macrophage ROS production and consequent adipose inflammation for obesity development.TBC1D1 deletion decreases,whereas an energy overload-mimetic non-phosphorylatable TBC1D1^(S231A)Amutation increases,ROS production and M1-like polarization in macrophages.Mechanistically,TBC1D1 and its downstream target Rab8a form an energy-responsive complex with NOX2 for ROS generation.Transplantation of TBC1D1^(S231A)bone marrow aggravates diet-induced obesity whereas treatment with an ultra-stable Tt SOD for removal of ROS selectively in macrophages alleviates both TBC1D1~(S231A)mutation-and diet-induced obesity.Our findings therefore have implications for drug discovery to combat obesity.展开更多
Self-powered full-spectrum photodetectors(PDs)offer numerous advantages,such as broad application fields,high precision,efficiency,and multi-functionality,which represent a highly promising and potentially valuable cl...Self-powered full-spectrum photodetectors(PDs)offer numerous advantages,such as broad application fields,high precision,efficiency,and multi-functionality,which represent a highly promising and potentially valuable class of detectors for future development.However,insensitive response to solar-blind ultraviolet(UV)and complex and expensive preparation processes greatly limit their performance and practical application.In this study,a self-powered full-spectrum Bi_(2)Se_(3)/a-Ga_(2)O_(3)/p-Si heterojunction PD with high sensitivity for solar-blind UV band prepared by a simple and low-cost two-step synthesis method is presented.Experiments results reveal that the developed PD has an excellent performance,such as high sensitivity from 200 to 850 nm,and a responsivity of 1.38 mA/W as well as a detectivity of 3.22×10^(10) Jones under 254 nm light at zero bias.Additionally,the unencapsulated device displays exceptional stability and imaging capabilities.It is expected that Bi_(2)Se_(3)/a-Ga_(2)O_(3)/p-Si heterojunction PD with a simple and low-cost synthesis method has great potential for self-powered full-spectrum photodetectors.展开更多
The highly ordered film assembled by regularly 1D nanostructures has potentialprospects in electronic,photoelectronic and other fields because of its excellentlight-trapping effect and electronic transport property.Ho...The highly ordered film assembled by regularly 1D nanostructures has potentialprospects in electronic,photoelectronic and other fields because of its excellentlight-trapping effect and electronic transport property.However,the controlledgrowth of highly ordered film remains a great challenge.Herein,large-area andhighly ordered Bi_(2)S_(3) film is synthesized on fluorophlogopite mica substrate bychemical vapor deposition method.The Bi2S3 film features hollowed-outcrosslinked network structure,assembled by 1D nanobelts that regularly distributein three orientations,which agrees well with the first principles calculations.Based on the as-grown Bi_(2)S_(3) film,the broadband photodetector with a responserange from 365 to 940 nm is fabricated,exhibiting a maximum responsivity upto 98.51 mA W^(–1),specific detectivity of 2.03×10^(10)Jones and fast response timeof 35.19 ms.The stable instantaneous on/off behavior for 500 cycles and reliablephotoresponse characteristics of the Bi_(2)S_(3) photodetector after storage in air for6 months confirm its excellent long-term stability and air stability.Significantly,as sensing pixel and signal receiving terminal,the device successfully achieveshigh-resolution imaging of characters of“H”,“I”and“T”,and secure transmissionof confidential information.This work shows a great potential of the largeareaand highly ordered Bi_(2)S_(3) film toward the development of future multiplefunctional photoelectronic applications.展开更多
Obesity is a major pathological factor that induces insulin resistance and consequent type 2 diabetes through multiple mechanisms.Inactivation of the insulin receptor(INSR)contributes to the development of insulin res...Obesity is a major pathological factor that induces insulin resistance and consequent type 2 diabetes through multiple mechanisms.Inactivation of the insulin receptor(INSR)contributes to the development of insulin resistance,whose protein level is down-regulated in obesity through as yet-undefined mechanisms.Here we show that the E3-ligase TRAF6 is a critical regulator of INSR maturation,whose inactivation prevents palmitic acid-or high-fat diet-induced diminution of the INSR.Consequently,genetic inactivation of TRAF6 enhances insulin signaling that further increases muscle glucose uptake and inhibits hepatic gluconeogenesis.TRAF6 inactivation increases the proprotein convertase FURIN that controls the processing of pro-INSR to mature INSR.Mechanistically,TRAF6 associates with the Golgi apparatus,where it ubiquitinates the cytosolic tail of FURIN,leading to its lysosomal degradation.This TRAF6-FURIN axis also regulates cholesterol metabolism via PCSK9 processing in the circulation.Collectively,our results reveal a critical role of TRAF6 in regulating proprotein processing and have therapeutic implications for metabolic control.展开更多
