Methods 510 community elderly (over 60 years old) in Hebei Province were selected as the subjects by simple random sampling. The general data and basic living conditions were investigated. SARC-F screening scale was used to screen and diagnose sarcopenia. Results: among 510 subjects, 60.59% were male and 39.41% were female. The prevalence of sarcopenia in the elderly was 25.69%. There were significant differences in age, eating habits, staple food intake, number of eggs per day, amount of milk, amount of meat, amount of vegetables, amount of vitamin health products, length of walking, length of watching TV and playing mobile phone, whether to formulate their own training prescription under the guidance of professional rehabilitation personnel, sleep and illness between sarcopenia group and non sarcopenia group (P < 0.05). Results: binary logistic regression analysis showed that the independent influencing factors of sarcopenia in the elderly (P < 0.05) included the number of eggs, the amount of milk, the amount of meat, the amount of vegetables, the length of walking, the length of watching TV and playing mobile phones, whether to formulate their own training prescription and sleep under the guidance of professional rehabilitation personnel. Conclusion: the factors affecting the elderly suffering from sarcopenia in Hebei community mainly include diet and exercise. The occurrence of sarcopenia in the elderly can be prevented by improving diet nutrition and physical exercise. Therefore, the community needs to do a good job in popular science education and early intervention to promote the health of the elderly and improve the quality of life of the elderly.展开更多
