The regularities of the movement of components inside the pipeline, the equation of change in the porosity of cotton, air pressure and component velocities in time and along the transportation line are obtained. It was found that in the initial 20 - 25 m part of the pneumatic transport pipe there is a sharp decrease in pressure and air flow velocity, while the speed of cotton increases rapidly due to which there is a strong deformation of cotton stretching under the influence of aerodynamic force, which occurs due to the difference in the velocities of the components of the mixture, as a result of which the cotton loosens, and its porosity increases intensively.展开更多

The differential equation, obtained as a result of the theoretical study of the movement of the bare seed on the surface of the grate of the saw gin, made it possible to determine the trajectory of the movement of the...The differential equation, obtained as a result of the theoretical study of the movement of the bare seed on the surface of the grate of the saw gin, made it possible to determine the trajectory of the movement of the seed. The rib is one of the main working bodies of the saw gin. It serves for the free passage of the saw blades through it into the working chamber, for the withdrawal of the fiber caught on the saw teeth after separating it from the seed. A number of studies have been carried out to improve the working elements of the saw gin. The purpose of the research is to create the possibility of timely withdrawal of bare seeds from the working chamber of the saw gin by creating a concavity on the working surface of the grate. The use of the Euler equation for the movement of bare cotton seed along the grate contour, taking into account its speed V, density ρ, pressure P, made it possible to obtain a graph of seed distribution along the grate contour. An experimental 30-saw gin was developed and manufactured, the research carried out on it allowed to determine the rational parameters of new grates, which are recommended for introduction into production. The dependence of the location of the rectilinear part of the general contour on the shape of its convexity and concavity is determined. Based on the above equations, using separate functions, we present the view of the grate profile in the coordinate system modeled on the MAPLE-17 program.展开更多

Theoretical studies have proved the reduction of static and total pressure along the line of pneumatic cotton transportation. The dependence of the pressure change on the diameter of the transport line and the aerodynamic drag of the pipeline is obtained. The results obtained are recommended for use in the design of raw cotton pneumatic transport systems.展开更多

The purpose of the research is to theoretically substantiate the choice of the pipeline diameter depending on the properties of the material (cotton), the required processing capacity and pipeline throughput. In the research, an analytical method was used to study changes in the pressure of the air flow along the transportation line at different pipeline diameters. It is established that, according to the existing calculation method, the flow pressure along the transportation line is reduced to zero. At the same time, various scientists have proposed various analytical and empirical dependencies, which, in turn, give different ideas about the resistance of the inner surface of the pipes to the movement of air and material flow and do not describe the real situation, especially when transporting material from a long distance. This requires in-depth theoretical and applied research to establish real patterns of changes in flow parameters along the material (cotton) transportation line.展开更多
