Research on Energy Mutual Assistance Control Strategy between Low-Voltage Stations Using Micro-Pumped Storage System with Common Reservoir Mode

To enhance energy interaction among low-voltage stations(LVSs)and reduce the line loss of the distribution network,a novel operation mode of the micro-pumped storage system(mPSS)has been proposed based on the common reservoir.First,some operation modes of mPSS are analyzed,which include the separated reservoir mode(SRM)and common reservoir mode(CRM).Then,based on the SRM,and CRM,an energy mutual assistance control model between LVSs has been built to optimize energy loss.Finally,in the simulation,compared to the model without pumped storage in the LVS,the SRMand CLRMcan decrease the total energy loss by 294.377 and 432.578 kWh,respectively.The configuration of mPSS can improve the utilization rate of the new energy source generation system,and relieve the pressure of transformer capacity in the LVS.Compared with the SRM,the proposed CRM has reduced the total energy loss by 138.201 kWh,increased the new energy consumption by 161.642 kWh,and decreased the line loss by 7.271 kWh.With the efficiency of the mPSS improving,the total energy loss reduction of CRM will be 3.5 times that of SRM.Further,the CRMcan significantly reduce the reservoir capacity construction of mPSS and ismore suitable for scenarios where the capacity configuration of mPSS is limited. 展开更多

The inherent brittle behavior and ductile-to-brittle transition(DBT)mechanism of Sn−3.0Ag−0.5Cu(SAC305)solder alloy at the liquid nitrogen temperature(LNT,77 K)were investigated through uniaxial tensile experiments conducted at different temperatures.Dynamic recovery and recrystallization of SAC305 solder alloy at room temperature(RT,293 K)activate a softening process.Conversely,intersecting and none-intersecting deformation twins,embedded in body-centered tetragonal Sn,enhance tensile strength and stabilize strain hardening rate,while suppressing the elongation of the alloy at LNT.The irreconcilable velocity difference between twin thickening(~8μm/s)and dislocation slip(4μm/s)results in premature brittle fracture,during the linear hardening and DBT.Moreover,the secondary phases degrade the mechanical property of SAC305 solder alloy,and micro-cracks appear between Cu_(6)Sn_(5)and Ag_(3)Sn in the eutectic matrix. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Damage associated molecular patterns(DAMPs)are vital for the immunogenic cell death of cancer cells and can enhance the anti-tumor activity of immune cells in colorectal cancer(CRC).Peroxiredoxin 1(Prdx1),an important DAMP,is highly expressed in various tumor tissues including CRC.However,the role of Prdx1 in CRC remains unknown.AIM To investigate the effect and mechanisms of Prdx1 on CRC.METHODS Patients diagnosed with CRC in our medical center were included in this study to verify the expression of Prdx1 in cancer tissues.Recombinant Prdx1(rPrdx1)was used to stimulate RKO and SW480 colon cancer cells.The cell survival rate,migration,proliferation and invasion ability were assessed.Transmission electron microscopy,TUNEL assay,lactate dehydrogenase release assay,and Western blot were used to determine the effect of Prdx1 on pyroptosis.NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitor and gasdermin D(GSDMD)inhibitor were used to explore the mechanism of Prdx1-induced pyroptosis.RESULTS The mRNA and protein levels of Prdx1 were significantly increased in the tumor tissues of patients with CRC.rPrdx1 inhibited the viability,proliferation,migration and invasion of RKO and SW480 colon cancer cells.Further study found that rPrdx1 inhibited the malignant biological behaviors of CRC cells by inducing pyroptosis rather than apoptosis and necroptosis.Mechanistically,rPrdx1 induces pyroptosis of CRC cells by activating the NLRP3 inflammasome/GSDMD pathway.CONCLUSION Prdx1 induces pyroptosis by activating the NLRP3 inflammasome/GSDMD pathway,thereby inhibiting the malignant biological behavior of RKO and SW480 colon cancer cells. 展开更多

Efficacy of a novel artificial liver versatile plasma purification system in patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure

BACKGROUND We have innovatively amalgamated membrane blood purification and centrifugal blood cell separation technologies to address the limitations of current artificial liver support(ALS)models,and develop a versatile plasma purification system(VPPS)through centrifugal plasma separation.AIM To investigate the influence of VPPS on long-term rehospitalization and mortality rates among patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF).METHODS This real-world,prospective study recruited inpatients diagnosed with ACLF from the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University between October 2021 and March 2024.Patients were categorized into the VPPS and non-VPPS groups based on the distinct ALS models administered to them.Self-administered questionnaires,clinical records,and self-reported data served as the primary methods for data collection.The laboratory results were evaluated at six distinct time points.All patients were subjected to follow-up assessments for>12 months.Kaplan-Meier survival analyses and Cox proportional hazards models were used to evaluate the risks of hospitalization and mortality during the follow-up period.RESULTS A cohort of 502 patients diagnosed with ACLF was recruited,with 260 assigned to the VPPS group.On comparing baseline characteristics,the VPPS group exhibited a significantly shorter length of stay,higher incidence of spontaneous peritonitis and pulmonary aspergillosis compared to the non-VPPS group(P<0.05).Agehazard ratio(HR=1.142,95%CI:1.01-1.23,P=0.018),peritonitis(HR=2.825,95%CI:1.07-6.382,P=0.026),albumin(HR=0.67,95%CI:0.46-0.942,P=0.023),total bilirubin(HR=1.26,95%CI:1.01-3.25,P=0.021),international normalized ratio(HR=1.97,95%CI:1.21-2.908,P=0.014),and VPPS/non-VPPS(HR=3.24,95%CI:2.152-4.76,P<0.001)were identified as significant independent predictors of mortality in both univariate and multivariate analyses throughout the follow-up period.Kaplan-Meier survival analyses demonstrated significantly higher rehospitalization and mortality rates in the non-VPPS group compared to the VPPS group during follow-up of≥2 years(log-rank test,P<0.001).CONCLUSION These findings suggest that VPPS is safe and has a positive influence on prognostic outcomes in patients with ACLF. 展开更多

Diphenylalanine and its analogs cause many concerns owing to their perfect self-assembly properties in the fields of biology,medicine,and nanotechnology.Experimental research has shown that diphenylalanine-based analogs with ethylenediamine linkers(PA,P=phenylalanine,and A=analog)can self-assemble into spherical assemblies,which can serve as novel anticancer drug carriers.In this work,to understand the assembly pathways,drug loading behavior,and formation mechanism of PA aggregates at the molecular level,we carried out dissipative particle dynamics(DPD)simulations of PA molecule systems.Our simulation results demonstrate that PA molecules spontaneously assemble into nanospheres and can self-assemble into drug-loaded nanospheres upon addition of the cancer chemotherapeutic agent doxorubicin(DOX).We also found that the hydrophobic side chain beads of PA molecules exhibited a unique onion-like distribution inside the nanospheres,which was not observed in the experiment.The onion-like nanospheres were verified by calculating the radial distribution function(RDF)of the DPD beads.Furthermore,based on the analysis of the percentages of different interaction components in the total nonbonded energies,main chain-side chain interactions between PA molecules may be important in the formation of onion-like nanospheres,and the synergistic effects of main chain-side chain,main chain-drug,side chain-drug,and main chain-solvent interactions are significant in the formation of drug-loaded nanospheres.These findings provide new insights into the structure and self-assembly pathway of PA assemblies,which may be helpful for the design of efficient and effective drug delivery systems. 展开更多

Objective: Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSA) is a disease of obstructive apnea or hypopnea caused by a repeated partial or complete collapse of the upper airway during sleep. The inspiratory part of the flow-volume curve (F-V curve) can be used as an auxiliary means to evaluate upper airway obstruction in adults. This study is to evaluate the ability of the F-V curve to predict the OSA and explore inspiratory indicators related to airway obstruction during sleep. Methods: There were 332 patients included in this cross-sectional study, who were accompanied by snoring, daytime sleepiness and other symptoms, with suspicion of OSA. According to the nocturnal polysomnography, the subjects were distributed into mild to moderate OSA group, severe OSA group and non-OSA group. A pulmonary function test was used to collect the subjects’ spirometry and F-V curves. Results: There was no significant difference in a variety of indices derived from the F-V curve between OSA and normal subjects, including 25% inspiratory flow rate, middle inspiratory flow rate, 75% inspiratory flow rate, peak flow rate, and forced inspiratory flow rate in the first second. The pulmonary function parameters were significantly correlated with the weight, age and sex of the subjects. Conclusion: These findings suggest that the inspiratory curve of pulmonary function cannot evaluate the upper airway abnormalities in patients with obstructive apnea-hypopnea syndrome. 展开更多

In this paper,the unsteady flow around a high-speed train is numerically simulated by detached eddy simulation method(DES),and the far-field noise is predicted using the Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings(FW-H)acoustic model.The reliability of the numerical calculation is verified by wind tunnel experiments.The superposition relationship between the far-field radiated noise of the local aerodynamic noise sources of the high-speed train and the whole noise source is analyzed.Since the aerodynamic noise of high-speed trains is derived from its different components,a stepwise calculation method is proposed to predict the aerodynamic noise of high-speed trains.The results show that the local noise sources of high-speed trains and the whole noise source conform to the principle of sound source energy superposition.Using the head,middle and tail cars of the high-speed train as noise sources,different numerical models are established to obtain the far-field radiated noise of each aerodynamic noise source.The far-field total noise of high-speed trains is predicted using sound source superposition.A step-by-step calculation of each local aerodynamic noise source is used to obtain the superimposed value of the far-field noise.This is consistent with the far-field noise of the whole train model’s aerodynamic noise.The averaged sound pressure level of the far-field longitudinal noise measurement points differs by 1.92 dBA.The step-by-step numerical prediction method of aerodynamic noise of high-speed trains can provide a reference for the numerical prediction of aerodynamic noise generated by long marshalling high-speed trains. 展开更多

Aiming at the problem that aerodynamic uplift forces of the pantograph running in the knuckle-downstream and knuckle-upstream conditions are inconsistent,and their magnitudes do not satisfy the corresponding standard, the aerodynamic uplift forces of pantographs with baffles are numerically investigated, and an optimization method to determine the baffle angle is proposed. First, the error between the aerodynamic resistances of the pantograph obtained by numerical simulation and wind tunnel test is less than 5%, which indicates the accuracy of the numerical simulation method. Second, the original pantograph and pantographs equipped with three different baffles are numerically simulated to obtain the aerodynamic forces and moments of the pantograph components.Three different angles for the baffles are-17°, 0° and 17°.Then the multibody simulation is used to calculate the aerodynamic uplift force of the pantograph, and the optimal range for the baffle angle is determined. Results show that the lift force of the baffle increases with the increment of the angle in the knuckle-downstream condition, whereas the lift force of the baffle decreases with the increment of the angle in the knuckle-upstream condition. According to the results of the aerodynamic uplift force, the optimal angle of the baffle is determined to be 4.75° when the running speed is 350 km/h, and pantograph–catenary contact forces are 128.89 N and 129.15 N under the knuckledownstream and knuckle-upstream operating conditions,respectively, which are almost equal and both meet the requirements of the standard EN50367:2012. 展开更多

Decentralized attitude synchronization and tracking control for multiple rigid bodies are investigated in this paper. In the presence of inertia uncertainties and environmental disturbances, we propose a class of decentralized adaptive sliding mode control laws. An adaptive control strategy is adopted to reject the uncertainties and disturbances. Using the Lyapunov approach and graph theory, it is shown that the control laws can guarantee a group of rigid bodies to track the desired time-varying attitude and angular velocity while maintaining attitude synchronization with other rigid bodies in the formation. Simulation examples are provided to illustrate the feasibility and advantage of the control algorithm. © 2014 Chinese Association of Automation. 展开更多

Fibrous porous ceramics are attractive for use as thermal insulation materials.However,the intrinsic brit-tleness of rigid materials has remained challenging and severely restricts their applications.Here,we demonstrated a facile method for fabricating elastic fibrous porous ceramics(EFPCs)with high com-pressive strength and low thermal conductivity through ordinary press filtration and subsequent heat treatment.The quasi-layered structure and the well-bonded bridging fibers between layers are the key points for the elasticity of EFPCs.The advanced EFPCs exhibited low density(∼0.126 g cm^(−3)),high com-pressive stress(∼0.356 MPa),and low thermal conductivity(∼0.026 W m^(−1) K^(−1)).Compared with rigid porous fibrous materials,the EFPCs had deformability and excellent shape recovery.In contrast to flexible materials,the EFPCs possessed high compressive stress,thus endowing them with good resistance to de-formation.The emergence of this fascinating material may provide new insights for candidate materials in thermal insulation and other fields. 展开更多

Improving the accuracy of solar power forecasting is crucial to ensure grid stability,optimize solar power plant operations,and enhance grid dispatch efficiency.Although hybrid neural network models can effectively address the complexities of environmental data and power prediction uncertainties,challenges such as labor-intensive parameter adjustments and complex optimization processes persist.Thus,this study proposed a novel approach for solar power prediction using a hybrid model(CNN-LSTM-attention)that combines a convolutional neural network(CNN),long short-term memory(LSTM),and attention mechanisms.The model incorporates Bayesian optimization to refine the parameters and enhance the prediction accuracy.To prepare high-quality training data,the solar power data were first preprocessed,including feature selection,data cleaning,imputation,and smoothing.The processed data were then used to train a hybrid model based on the CNN-LSTM-attention architecture,followed by hyperparameter optimization employing Bayesian methods.The experimental results indicated that within acceptable model training times,the CNN-LSTM-attention model outperformed the LSTM,GRU,CNN-LSTM,CNN-LSTM with autoencoders,and parallel CNN-LSTM attention models.Furthermore,following Bayesian optimization,the optimized model demonstrated significantly reduced prediction errors during periods of data volatility compared to the original model,as evidenced by MRE evaluations.This highlights the clear advantage of the optimized model in forecasting fluctuating data. 展开更多
