To evaluate the H_(2)O_(2)‐tolerance of non‐Pt oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)catalysts as well as in‐vestigate the H_(2)O_(2)‐induced decay mechanism, the selection of an appropriate H_(2)O_(2) concentration is a prerequisite. However, the concentration criterion is still unclear because of the lack of in‐operando methods to determine the actual concentration of H_(2)O_(2) in fuel cell catalyst layers. In this work,an electrochemical probe method was successfully established to in‐operando monitor the H_(2)O_(2) in non‐Pt catalyst layers for the first time. The local concentration of H_(2)O_(2) was revealed to reach 17 mmol/L,which is one order of magnitude higher than that under aqueous electrodes test conditions.Powered by the new knowledge,a concentration criterion of at least 17 mmol/L is suggested. This work fills in the large gap between aqueous electrode tests and the real fuel cell working conditions, and highlights the importance of in‐operando monitoring methods. 展开更多

Pure squamous cell carcinoma is even less common with a reported incidence of 3.3%. We present a case of 72 year-old African-American woman with decreased appetite, fatigue, and weight loss associated with intermittent right upper quadrant pain for two months. Computed tomography of the abdomen revealed a mass in the gallbladder and the hepatic flexure of the colon with involvement of adjacent small bowel. On exploratory laparotomy, a mass at the dome of the gallbladder was found with local invasion of the hepatic flexure, and the proximal transverse colon. There was no obvious involvement of the duodenum, common bile duct, or the extra-hepatic biliary tree. An extended right hemicolectomy, distal small bowel resection, cholecystectomy, a wedge resection of the liver and a feeding jejunostomy, were performed. Pathologic evaluation demonstrated well to moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of gallbladder without evidence of distant metastasis. The patient improved clinically and was discharged home in good condition. 展开更多
