Thymus quinquecostatus Celak.,a traditional aromatic edible plant from Lamiaceae,is widely used as food additive,food condiment,spice,and herbal teas.Polyphenol-rich fraction of T.quinquecostatus(PRF)has been proven t...Thymus quinquecostatus Celak.,a traditional aromatic edible plant from Lamiaceae,is widely used as food additive,food condiment,spice,and herbal teas.Polyphenol-rich fraction of T.quinquecostatus(PRF)has been proven to be effective protective effect for cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury(CIRI)in our previous study.In this study,we developed a novel“Gut flora-Compound-Target-Pathway”(GCTP)network based on network pharmacology coupled with gastrointestinal metabolism for screening bio-active components,key targets and gut floras through the classical technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS).This compensates for the lack of gut floras and gastrointestinal metabolism in network pharmacology.Firstly,four incubation models covering simulated gastric juice,simulated intestinal juice,gut floras of normal and transient middle cerebral artery occlusion(tMCAO)rat in vitro were applied to PRF.The 109 proto-components and 64 metabolites were elucidated by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography Q exactive orbitrap-mass spectrometry(UPLC-QE-Orbitrap-MS).Then,the key targets of matrix metalloproteinase 9(MMP9),prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase 2(PTGS2),tyrosine-protein kinase fyn(FYN),estrogen receptor 1(ESR1),amyloid precursor protein(APP),and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),and gut floras of Enterococcus avium LY1 were selected.Moreover,the selected key proto components were rosmarinic acid,daidzein,quercetin,luteolin,apigenin,methyl rosmarinate,kaempferol,luteoloside,and caffeic acid,and the key metabolites were isokaempferide,isorhamnetin,isoquercetin,and mangiferin.Binding of compounds to the key proteins was analyzed by molecular docking,and also verified though an 2,2'-azobis(2-amidinopropane)dihydrochloride(AAPH)induced oxidative stress zebrafish model and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)assays.This study provides a new idea and a better understanding of PRF for its protective effects on CIRI and its underlying mechanisms.展开更多
Surface oxygen vacancy defects of mesoporous CeO_(2)nanosheets assembled microspheres(D-CeO_(2))are engineered by polymer precipitation,hydrothermal and surface hydrogenation strategies.The resultant D-CeO_(2)with a m...Surface oxygen vacancy defects of mesoporous CeO_(2)nanosheets assembled microspheres(D-CeO_(2))are engineered by polymer precipitation,hydrothermal and surface hydrogenation strategies.The resultant D-CeO_(2)with a main pore diameter of 9.3 nm has a large specific surface area(~102.3 m^(2)/g)and high thermal stability.The mesoporous nanosheets assembled microsphere structure prevents the nanosheets from aggregation,which is beneficial to effective mass transfer and shortens the migration distance of charge carriers.After surface hydrogenation,the photoresponse extends to long wavelength region,combing with the band gap from 2.63 eV reduced to 2.39 eV.Under AM 1.5 G radiation,the photocatalytic degradation rate of tetracycline(TC)can be up to 99.99%,which is three times as high as that of pristine CeO_(2)microspheres.The excellent solar-driven photocatalytic performance can be attributed to the efficient surface oxygen vacancy engineering and the mesoporous nanosheets assembled microsphere structure,which narrows the band gap,shortens the migration distance of carriers,promotes the spatial separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs and favors mass transfer.The strategy provides new insights for fabricating other high-efficient oxide photocatalysts.展开更多

Interface engineering is of great importance to improve the photocatalytic performance.Herein,in-situ formation plasmon Bi/BiOCl nanosheets assembled heterojunction microspheres are fabricated via facile reductive sol...Interface engineering is of great importance to improve the photocatalytic performance.Herein,in-situ formation plasmon Bi/BiOCl nanosheets assembled heterojunction microspheres are fabricated via facile reductive solvothermal approach.The aldehyde group in the DMF structure is used to exert the weak reducing property of the solvent and thus strip out the metal Bi in BiOCl.The metal Bi is anchored on surface of BiOCl firmly due to in-situ formation engineered interface,which could realize efficient charge transfer channel.The resultant Bi/BiOCl heterojunctions assemblies with narrow bandgap of 3.05 eV and mesoporous structure extend the photoresponse to visible light region and could provide sufficient surface active sites.The visible-light-driven photocatalytic degradation of high-toxic norfloxacin for Bi/BiOCl heterojunctions is up to 95.5%within 20 min,representing several times that of pristine BiOCl nanosheets and the physical mixture.It is attributed to the in-situ formation of Bi/BiOCl heterojunctions and surface plasmon resonance(SPR)effect of plasmon Bi promoting charge transfer,and the obvious photothermal effect promoting the photocatalytic reaction,which are verified by experimental and density functional theory(DFT)calculations.This strategy provides ideal perspectives for fabricating metal/semiconductor heterojunctions photocatalysts with high-performance.展开更多
For quality control improvement of medicine and food homology(MFH)health food,the concept of functional quality control and rapid screening strategy of functional compounds were proposed based on the dual identity cha...For quality control improvement of medicine and food homology(MFH)health food,the concept of functional quality control and rapid screening strategy of functional compounds were proposed based on the dual identity characteristics.Taking Wuweisanqi Capsule as the research object,firstly,a modified method“syndrome correlation-network analysis”based on network pharmacology was used for analysis.Functions related targets were collected from common medical databases,while the clustering algorithm was used to extract the information of clinical records related to daily health care from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)database to obtain the targets.The bioactive compounds and related targets were retrieved from the TCM Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform around the five materials included in formula.Protein-protein interaction(PPI)network and pathway enrichment analysis were performed on the intersection targets.According to the constructed formula material-compound-target-pathway network,the potential functional compounds were preliminarily identified.Secondly,key targets and compounds were analyzed by molecular docking to further screen functional compounds.Finally,combined with references,the screening and establishing determination methods of functional compounds containing total saponins,astragaloside IV,puerarin and schisandrin were finished.The rapid screening strategy adequately utilizes the advantage of TCM background for MFH health food and the effective extracting ability of massive data by the algorithm.It links three aspects of health food functions,formula materials and functional compounds,providing an efficient solution for the realization of function-formula-component integrated functional quality control,which has great application potential in health food industry.展开更多

By using of the orthogonal expansion method, an anisotropic Lagrange interpolation is presented. The family of Lagrange rectangular elements with all the possible shape function spaces are considered, which cover the Intermediate families, Tensor-product families and Serendipity families. It is shown that the anisotropic interpolation error estimates hold for any order Sobolev norm. We extend the convergence and superconvergence result of rectangular finite elements to arbitrary rectangular meshes in a unified way.展开更多

More precisely, some unknown distributed Neumann data are to be recovered on the interior inaccessible boundary using Dirichlet measurement data on the outer ac- cessible boundary. The main contribution in this work is to establish the some a priori error estimates in terms of the mesh size in the domain and on the accessible/inaccessible boundaries, respectively, for both the temperature u and the adjoint state p under the lowest regularity assumption. It is revealed that the lower bounds of the convergence rates depend on the geometry of the domain. These a priori error estimates are of immense interest by themselves and pave the way for proving the convergence analysis of adaptive techniques applied to a general classes of inverse heat conduction problems. Numerical experiments are presented to verify our theoretical prediction.展开更多
