In the paper, the key cultivation techniques for high and stable yield of </span><i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Coix lacryma-jobi</span></i><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> were also summarized. In order to obtain high quality, high and stable yield, we should adopt the new technical methods of “two wet, two dry and two water” in water management. The system ca...Compared with the classical Markov repairable system, the Markov repairable system with stochastic regimes switching introduced in the paper provides a more realistic description of the practical system. The system can be used to model the dynamics of a repairable system whose performance regimes switch according to the external conditions. For example, to satisfy the demand variation that is typical for the power and communication systems and reduce the cost, these systems usually adjust their operating regimes. The transition rate matrices under distinct operating regimes are assumed to be different and the sojourn times in distinct regimes are governed by a finite state Markov chain. By using the theory of Markov process, Ion channel theory, and Laplace transforms, the up time of the system are studied. A numerical example is given to illustrate the obtained results. The effect of sojourn times in distinct regimes on the availability and the up time are also discussed in the numerical example.展开更多

The growing interest in the material flow(MF)theory has invoked much interesting research in recent years.Although the MF theory is relatively new,a review of the related literature from a historical perspective shows...The growing interest in the material flow(MF)theory has invoked much interesting research in recent years.Although the MF theory is relatively new,a review of the related literature from a historical perspective shows that MF theory represents a new stage of the evolutionary development of interrelated subjects such as Physical Distribution(PD),Logistics,and Supply Chain Management(SCM).The purpose of this paper is to provide a summative review of the evolution of the subjects of PD,Logistics,and SCM,and their new development,MF theory.The paper aims at tracing how concepts and findings in PD,Logistics,SCM,and MF have been developed and have evolved.The study shows that PD evolved to Logistics in middle of the 1980s;starting from the late 1990s,Logistics has evolved to SCM;and today PD,Logistics,and SCM can be considered to be under the umbrella provided by a new theory called MF theory.This paper points out that MF theory is a necessity to deal with the overwhelming complexity of material flow systems in the global economy of the twenty-first century.展开更多
