[Objectives]This study aimed to establish the fingerprint of Cryptolepis buchananii Roem.et Schult.by HPLC.[Methods]Taking the peak of chlorogenic acid as the references, the 10 batches of C.buchananii Roem.et Schult.materials were detected by HPLC under the conditions of column of Thermo ODS-2 Hypersil(5μm,4.6 mm×250 mm),detection wavelength of 323 nm,column temperature of 25℃,mobile phase of methanol-0.1%phosphoric acid solution, gradient elution and injection volume of 20μL.The common peak identification and similarity evaluation were carried out according to Similarity Evaluation System for Chromatographic Fingerprint of Chinese Traditional Medicine(Version 2004 A).[Results]Among the HPLC fingerprints of the 10 batches of C.buchananii Roem.et Schult.materials, there are 13 common peaks, and their similarity is all greater than 0.9,indicating good similarity.[Conclusions]This study can provide a scientific basis for the quality evaluation of C.buchananii Roem.et Schult. 展开更多

[Objectives] This study was conducted to study the protective effect of the Zhuang medicine Cryptolepis buchananii Roem. et Schult. on D-galactosamine(D-GalN)-induced liver injury in mice. [Methods] A mouse model of chemical liver injury was established by D-GalN, and the mice with D-GalN-induced liver injury were randomly divided into the blank group, model group, positive control group and drug-administered groups. The levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) in the serum of the mice in each group and the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and malondialdehyde(MDA) in the liver tissue of the mice were determined, and the liver pathological changes were observed. [Results] The extracts of the Zhuang medicinal herb C. buchananii could reduce the serum ALT and AST levels(P<0.05), increase the SOD content in the liver tissue of mice(P<0.05), and decrease the MDA level(P<0.05). [Conclusions] The Zhuang medicinal herb C. buchananii has a good protective effect on D-GalN-induced liver injury in mice. 展开更多

The mechanism for asymmetric atmospheric responses to the central Pacific(CP) El Ni?o and La Ni?a over the western North Pacific(WNP) is studied in this paper. The negative anomalies of rainfall over the key region of WNP are explained by diagnosing the column-integrated equations of moisture and moist static energy(MSE). It is revealed that the nonlinear advection of moist enthalpy is critical to introduce negative rainfall anomalies over the region. The anomalous easterly(westerly) in La Ni?a(CP El Ni?o) causes negative advection of anomalous moist enthalpy, inducing negative heating anomaly and an anticyclone anomaly in the WNP, which weakens(strengthens) the cyclone(anticyclone) in La Ni?a(CP El Ni?o). The MSE budget analysis shows a larger nonlinear term in CP El Ni?o than in eastern Pacific(EP) El Ni?o, inconsistent with the amplitudes of sea surface temperature anomalies. The reason is that the nonlinear term transforms to positive above 700 h Pa in EP El Ni?o, offsetting the negative advection below 700 h Pa and thus making the nonlinear term smaller. The nonlinear term is negative at low levels in CP El Ni?o, resulting in a larger nonlinear term. The stronger precipitation anomalies in the WNP during EP El Ni?o can be attributed to the linear moist enthalpy advection. The mean easterly wind at mid levels causes a larger(smaller) positive moist enthalpy advection in CP(EP) El Ni?o, due to a larger(smaller) moist enthalpy gradient, resulting in a positive(negative) linear moist enthalpy advection, which weakens(strengthens) the negative precipitation anomalies in the key region. 展开更多
