Dry reforming of methane(DRM)has gained significant attention as a promising route to convert two major greenhouse gases(CO_(2) and CH4)to syngas.The development of efficient catalysts is critical for the engineering ...Dry reforming of methane(DRM)has gained significant attention as a promising route to convert two major greenhouse gases(CO_(2) and CH4)to syngas.The development of efficient catalysts is critical for the engineering applications.In this study,the Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)/ZSM-5 composites with different oxygen vacancy concentrations were synthesized by tuning the Ce/Zr ratio,followed by the deposition of metal Ni to island-like Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)on ZSM-5,forming a variety of Ni-Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)/ZSM-5 catalysts,which were applied for the DRM reaction under 750◦C.Combined with various characterizations,it was found that the oxygen vacancy concentration illustrated the volcanic tendency with the decreased Ce/Zr ratio,and the interaction between metal Ni and Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)exhibited a positive relationship with oxygen vacancy concentration.The enhanced between Ni and Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)interaction could improve the strength and amount of Ni-O-M(M=Ce/Zr)species,making the d-band centers of catalysts closer to the Fermi energy level,which was beneficial to the CH4 and CO_(2) activation,along with the improved capacity to resist sintering and coking.Especially,the C1Z3(Ni-Ce0.25Zr0.75O_(2)/ZSM-5)catalyst with the Ce/Zr ratio of 1/3 demonstrated the optimal catalytic performance with 91.9%CH4 and 93.8%CO_(2) conversions within 50 h,accompanied by the best structural and catalytic stability after 100 h.In-situ DRIFTS was employed to study the reaction path and mechanism,discovering that significant amounts of strengthened Ni-O-M species were conducive to activating adsorbed CH4 and CO_(2),and desorbing the linear CO species.展开更多
Food allergy(FA) is an aberrant immune response triggered by the ingestion of a food antigen.Ovalbumin(OVA)-sensitized and challenged BALB/c mice were orally administered heat-killed(HK)-Lactobacillus paracasei JY56.I...Food allergy(FA) is an aberrant immune response triggered by the ingestion of a food antigen.Ovalbumin(OVA)-sensitized and challenged BALB/c mice were orally administered heat-killed(HK)-Lactobacillus paracasei JY56.In this work,HK-L.paracasei JY56 alleviated the FA-induced decrease in body weight and rectal temperature and reduced the allergy score.Serum analysis showed that HK-L.paracasei JY56 reduced the levels of specific antibodies(OVA-specific Immunoglobulin E(sIgE) and OVA-specific Immunoglobulin G(sIgG)) and allergic mediators(histamine and mast cell protease) in FA mice.In addition,HK-L.paracasei JY56 also could alleviate OVA-induced FA by suppressing T helper(Th)2 and Th17-type immune responses,which was evidenced by the regulation of splenic lymphocyte subpopulations and associated cytokine secretion.Moreover,jejunal histological analysis and intestinal barrier function related gene expression measurement were performed to verify the intestinal barrier repair of HK-L.paracasei JY56.Meanwhile,the TLR4/NF-κB inflammatory pathway activation was inhibited by HK-L.paracasei JY56 at gene and protein levels.Finally,HK-L.paracasei JY56 was performed to modulate the gut microbiota structure and increase the levels of short-chain fatty acids.In conclusion,HK-L.paracasei JY56 could alleviate OVA-induced FA in multiple ways,and this study provides a theoretical basis for the application of inactivated probiotics in functional foods for FA.展开更多
Background:To understand the health beliefs and knowledge of human papillomavirus among adult males in Tianjin.Methods:An online questionnaire survey was conducted from 18 January 2023 to 6 March 2023 using snowball s...Background:To understand the health beliefs and knowledge of human papillomavirus among adult males in Tianjin.Methods:An online questionnaire survey was conducted from 18 January 2023 to 6 March 2023 using snowball sampling method.Analyze the health belief scores and human papillomavirus(HPV)and HPV vaccine knowledge scores of adult males in Tianjin,and analyze their influencing factors.Results:A total of 388 adult males in Tianjin were surveyed,with an average total score of 3.23±0.04 for their health beliefs.Among them,the average scores for perceived severity,perceived susceptibility,perceived impairment,perceived benefit,and self-efficacy were 3.41±1.05,2.37±1.20,2.96±1.00,3.51±0.90,and 3.36±1.08,respectively.Multiple linear regression analyses showed education was a factor influencing health beliefs.The average total score of knowledge is 64.09±15.62,with 277 people scoring above 60,and a pass rate of 71.4%.Through multiple linear regression analysis,education level,emotional status,whether disease testing has been done,and whether family and friends have been diagnosed with HPV positive are the main influencing factors.Conclusion:The awareness rate of HPV among adult males in Tianjin is still acceptable,but there are still misconceptions.The overall level of health beliefs is moderate,and the perceived susceptibility level is low.It is necessary to strengthen health education on HPV related knowledge for males and improve their cognitive level.展开更多

Melon(Cucumis melo)is an economically important horticultural crop cultivated worldwide.NAC(NAM/ATAC/CUC)transcription factors play crucial roles in the transcriptional regulation of various developmental stages in pl...Melon(Cucumis melo)is an economically important horticultural crop cultivated worldwide.NAC(NAM/ATAC/CUC)transcription factors play crucial roles in the transcriptional regulation of various developmental stages in plant growth and fruit development,but their gene functions in melon remain largely unknown.Here,we identified 78 CmNAC family genes with an integrated and conserved no apical meristem(NAM)domain in the melon genome by performing genome-wide identification and bioinformatics analysis.Transcriptome data analysis and qRTPCR results showed that most CmNACs are specifically enriched in either the vegetative or reproductive organs of melon.Through genetic transformation,we found that overexpression of CmNAC34 in melons led to early ripening fruits,suggesting its positive role in promoting fruit maturation.Using yeast two-hybrid and bimolecular fluorescence complementation assays,we verified the direct protein interaction between CmNAC34 and CmNACNOR.The expression patterns of CmNAC34 and CmNAC-NOR were similar in melon tissues,and subcellular localization revealed their nuclear protein characteristics.We transformed CmNAC-NOR in melon and found that its overexpression resulted in early ripening fruits.Then,the yeast one-hybrid and dual luciferase reporter gene assays showed that the CmNAC34 protein can bind to the promoters of two glyoxalase(GLY)genes,which are involved in the abscisic acid signal pathway and associated with fruit regulation.These findings revealed the molecular characteristics,expression profiles,and functional patterns of the NAC family genes and provide new insights into the molecular mechanism by which CmNAC34 regulates climacteric fruit ripening.展开更多

Flexible-shelled eggs of the lizards Phrynocephalus przewalskii and P. versicolor were incubated under different thermal and hydric conditions to elicit the effects of incubation environment on hatching success, embry...Flexible-shelled eggs of the lizards Phrynocephalus przewalskii and P. versicolor were incubated under different thermal and hydric conditions to elicit the effects of incubation environment on hatching success, embryonic development and duration as well as hatchling phenotypes. Embryogenesis of the two species was not sensitive to changes in the hydric environment except P. przewalskii incubated in 30°C group. Temperature significantly altered the duration of embryogenesis, with cooler temperatures leading to a longer incubation period. Hatching success was greater at 26 and 30°C than at 34°C. The hatchlings incubated at 26 and 30°C had longer snout-vent length, larger body mass, and better locomotor performance than those incubated at 34°C. Compared to P. przewalskii, P. versicolor had a shorter incubation period and yielded smaller hatchlings, which then had a higher survival rate in cooler and drier habitats. We conclude that an incubation temperature of 30°C would produce the best balance among developmental rate, hatching success, and post-hatching performance. We speculate that the upper temperature limit for incubation of P. versicolor eggs may be slightly higher than 34°C.展开更多
Ossifying fibroma(OF)and fibrous dysplasia(FD)are two fibro-osseous lesions with overlapping clinicopathological features,making diagnosis challenging.In this study,we applied a whole-genome shallow sequencing approac...Ossifying fibroma(OF)and fibrous dysplasia(FD)are two fibro-osseous lesions with overlapping clinicopathological features,making diagnosis challenging.In this study,we applied a whole-genome shallow sequencing approach to facilitate differential diagnosis via precise profiling of copy number alterations(CNAs)using minute amounts of DNA extracted from morphologically correlated microdissected tissue samples.Freshly frozen tissue specimens from OF(n=29)and FD(n=28)patients were obtained for analysis.Lesion fibrous tissues and surrounding normal tissues were obtained by laser capture microdissection(LCM),with~30–50 cells(5000–10000µm2)per sample.We found that the rate of recurrent CNAs in OF cases was much higher(44.8%,13 of 29)than that in FD cases(3.6%,1 of 28).Sixty-nine percent(9 of 13)of the CNA-containing OF cases involved segmental amplifications and deletions on Chrs 7 and 12.We also identified eight CNA-associated genes(HILPDA,CALD1,C1GALT1,MICALL2,PHF14,AIMP2,MDM2,and CDK4)with amplified expression,which was consistent with the copy number changes.We further confirmed a jaw lesion with a previous uncertain diagnosis due to its ambiguous morphological features and the absence of GNAS mutation as OF based on the typical Chr 12 amplification pattern in its CNA profile.Moreover,analysis of a set of longitudinal samples collected from an individual with a cellular lesion in suspicion of OF at the first surgery,recurrence and the latest malignant transformation revealed identical CNA patterns at the three time points,suggesting that copy number profiling can be used as an important tool to identify borderline lesions or lesions with malignant potential.Overall,CNA profiling of fibro-osseous lesions can greatly improve differential diagnosis between OF and FD and help predict disease progression.展开更多

METHODS: Allograft corneal graft was performed between host Sprague Dawley and Wistar donor rats.The rats were randomly divided into four groups: normal,autograft, allograft, and allograft treated with tocilizumab.Kaplan-Meier was performed to draw the survival curve.The protein levels of interleukin-17A(IL-17A), vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), and forkhead box protein3(Foxp3) were measured by immunohistochemistry.The mRNA levels of IL-17A, VEGF, retinoid-related orphan receptor gammat(RORγt), interleukin-6(IL-6) and Foxp3 were detected by reverse transcription real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR). The Treg and Th17 cells were investigated by flow cytometry. RESULTS: The survival time of tocilizumab group was(24±1.27 d) longer than that of allograft group(10±0.55 d).Moreover, immunohistochemical examination revealed that IL-17A and VEGF protein levels in the allograft group were significantly higher than that of tocilizumab group(P<0.01),while Foxp3 levels in the allograft group was significantly lower than that of the tocilizumab treated group(P<0.001).Flow cytometry showed that the number of Th17 cellsin allograft group was significantly higher than that in tocilizumab group(P<0.001). Meanwhile, the number of Tregs was significantly lower than in tocilizumab group(P<0.001). Simultaneously, Foxp3 m RNA expression level in corneal tissues of tocilizumab treated group was significantly higher than other groups(P<0.001). CONCLUSION: These findings suggest that tocilizumab may promote corneal allograft survival, possibly by modulating Treg-Th17 balance.展开更多

Western blot and real-time PCR results showed that growth associated protein 43 expression was significantly increased in the L4-6 segments of the spinal cord. The amplitude and velocity of motor nerve conduction in the sciatic nerve were significantly increased in model mice. In addition, the appearance of the myelin sheath in the injured sciatic nerve was regular, with an even thickness and clear outline, and the surrounding fibroplasia was not obvious. Our results indicate that 7, 8-dihydroxycoumarin can promote the repair of injured nerve by upregulating growth associated protein 43 expression in the corresponding spinal cord segments of mice with sciatic nerve injury.展开更多
Manganese(Mn) ores contain substantial concentrations of mercury(Hg), and mining and smelting of Mn ores can bring Hg into the surrounding aquatic environment through atmospheric deposition, leaching of electrolytic M...Manganese(Mn) ores contain substantial concentrations of mercury(Hg), and mining and smelting of Mn ores can bring Hg into the surrounding aquatic environment through atmospheric deposition, leaching of electrolytic Mn residue and Mn gangue dump. However, limited is known that how these processes influence the environmental behaviors of Hg in waterbody. Therefore, the seasonal distribution and existing form of Hg in water and sediment in one Mn ore area in Xiushan County, Chongqing were investigated. Our results showed that the mean Hg and methylmercury(Me Hg) concentrations in water( n = 35) were 5.8 ± 4.6 ng/L and 0.22 ± 0.14 ng/L, respectively. The mean Hg concentrations in retained riverbed and fluvial bank sediment( n = 35) were 0.74 ± 0.26 mg/kg and 0.63 ± 0.27 mg/kg, respectively(the mean Me Hg concentrations were 0.64 ± 0.40 μg/kg and 0.51 ± 0.30 μg/kg, respectively). It indicated that the mining and smelting of Mn ores were the main sources of anthropogenic Hg, and Mn may inhibit Hg methylation in rivers in Mn ore areas. Mercury in the bound to iron/Mn(Fe/Mn) oxides of low crystallinity fraction(Hg-OX) accounted for 4.01% and 5.25% of the total Hg concentrations in the retained riverbed and fluvial bank sediment, respectively. The amount of Hg bound to Fe/Mn oxides in sediment increased significantly due to the manganese mining activities in the investigated area. Therefore, it could be hypothesized that high Hg concentrations in river sediment in Mn mining areas are closely related to high Mn concentration in sediment.展开更多

The obtained Fe3 O4@Si O2@KCC-1-phenyl showed monodisperse fibrous spherical morphology, fairly strong magnetic response(29 emu/g), and an abundant π-electron system, which allowed rapid isolation of the Fe3 O4@Si O2@KCC-1-phenyl from solutions upon applying an appropriate magnetic field. Several variables that affect the extraction efficiency of the analytes,including the type of the elution solvent, amount of adsorbent, extraction time and reusability, were investigated and optimized. Under optimum conditions, the Fe3 O4@Si O2@KCC-1-phenyl was used for the extraction of four phthalate esters from environmental water samples followed by high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis. Validation experiments indicated that the developed method presented good linearity(0.1-20 ng/m L), low limit of detection(7.5-29 μg/L, S/N =3). The proposed method was applied to the determination of phthalate esters in different real water samples, with relative recoveries of 93%-103.4%and relative standard deviation of 0.8%-8.3%.展开更多
Penile length shortening and erectile dysfunction are common complications after radical prostatectomy.Various methods have been used to maintain erectile function,but less attention has been paid to preserving penis ...Penile length shortening and erectile dysfunction are common complications after radical prostatectomy.Various methods have been used to maintain erectile function,but less attention has been paid to preserving penis length.N-acetylcysteine(NAC)has the effect of antioxidation and antifibrotic,which may be beneficial to improve those postoperative complications.This study investigated the effect of NAC on maintaining the penile length and the erectile function after bilateral cavernous nerve crush(BCNC)and its underlying mechanism.Twenty-four male rats were randomly divided into three groups:control group,BCNC group,and BCNC+NAC group.NAC or equal volume of saline was daily administrated by intragastric gavage for 4 weeks.The initial and end penile lengths were measured.Intracavernosal pressure/mean arterial pressure(ICP/MAP)ratio was calculated to assess erectile function.Hematoxylin-eosin staining,Masson's trichrome staining,immunohistochemistry,and Western blot were performed to explore cellular and molecular changes of the penis.Compared to the BCNC group,the penile length,ICP/MAP ratio and smooth muscle/collagen ratio in the BCNC+NAC group were improved significantly(all P<0.05),and the expressions of endothelial nitric oxide synthase,α-smooth muscle actin,glutathione,and glutathione peroxidase 1 were significantly increased after NAC treated(all P<0.05),along with the decreased expressions of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α,transforming growth factor-β1,collagen I,collagen III,collagen IV,malonaldehyde,and lysine oxidase(all P<0.05).This study demonstrated that NAC could maintain penile length and partly improve erectile function.Possible mechanism is directly and/or indirectly related to antihypoxic and antifibrosis.展开更多

To tackle the drawbacks, herein, MAPbBr_(3)/carbon sphere(CS) composite photocatalysts using glucose as the carbon source were elaborately designed and fabricated via a dry mechanochemical grinding process. The interfacial interaction Pb-O-C chemical bonds were constructed between MAPbBr_(3) and the carbon sphere surface containing organic functional groups. By optimizing the content of CSs, the enhanced photocatalytic degradation kinetic rate of Malachite Green(MG) pollutants(92% within 20 min) for MAPbBr_(3)/CS x( x = 17 wt.%) is about 3.6-fold of that for pristine MAPbBr_(3), which is attributed to the corporative adsorption and enhanced carrier transportation and separation of MAPbBr_(3)/CS x. Furthermore, the possible degradation mechanism was proposed on basis of the electrochemical, mass spectrometry and optical characterization results. Owing to the robust interfacial interaction, effective electron extraction rate( k et = 4.6 × 10^(7) sec^(-1)) from MAPbBr_(3) to CS can be established, which driven oxygen activation where superoxide radicals(·O^(2-)) played an important role in MG degradation. It is expected that mechanochemistry strategy may provide a new route to design efficient lead halide perovskite-carbon or metal oxide or sulfide composite photocatalysts.展开更多
The pneumatic gripper in industrial applications has the advantages of structure simplicity and great adaptability,but its gripping power is usually limited due to the low modulus of soft materials.To address this pro...The pneumatic gripper in industrial applications has the advantages of structure simplicity and great adaptability,but its gripping power is usually limited due to the low modulus of soft materials.To address this problem,a novel bionic pneumatic gripper inspired by spider legs is proposed.The design has two pairs of symmetrical fingers,each finger consists of two pneumatic actuated joints,two rigid links and one pneumatic soft pad.The rigid link connects the pneumatic chamber which is enclosed in a retractable shell to increase the actuation pressure and the gripping force.The compressibility and elasticity of the soft joint and pad enable the gripper to grasp fragile objects without damage.The modeling of the bionic gripper is developed,and the parameters of the joint actuators are optimized accordingly.The prototype is manufactured and tested with the developed experimental platform,where the gripping force,flexibility and adaptability are evaluated.The results indicate that the designed gripper can grasp irregular and fragile items in sizes from 40 to 140 mm without damage,and the lifting weight is up to 15 N.展开更多

文摘Dry reforming of methane(DRM)has gained significant attention as a promising route to convert two major greenhouse gases(CO_(2) and CH4)to syngas.The development of efficient catalysts is critical for the engineering applications.In this study,the Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)/ZSM-5 composites with different oxygen vacancy concentrations were synthesized by tuning the Ce/Zr ratio,followed by the deposition of metal Ni to island-like Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)on ZSM-5,forming a variety of Ni-Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)/ZSM-5 catalysts,which were applied for the DRM reaction under 750◦C.Combined with various characterizations,it was found that the oxygen vacancy concentration illustrated the volcanic tendency with the decreased Ce/Zr ratio,and the interaction between metal Ni and Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)exhibited a positive relationship with oxygen vacancy concentration.The enhanced between Ni and Ce_(x)Zr_(1-x)O_(2)interaction could improve the strength and amount of Ni-O-M(M=Ce/Zr)species,making the d-band centers of catalysts closer to the Fermi energy level,which was beneficial to the CH4 and CO_(2) activation,along with the improved capacity to resist sintering and coking.Especially,the C1Z3(Ni-Ce0.25Zr0.75O_(2)/ZSM-5)catalyst with the Ce/Zr ratio of 1/3 demonstrated the optimal catalytic performance with 91.9%CH4 and 93.8%CO_(2) conversions within 50 h,accompanied by the best structural and catalytic stability after 100 h.In-situ DRIFTS was employed to study the reaction path and mechanism,discovering that significant amounts of strengthened Ni-O-M species were conducive to activating adsorbed CH4 and CO_(2),and desorbing the linear CO species.

文摘Food allergy(FA) is an aberrant immune response triggered by the ingestion of a food antigen.Ovalbumin(OVA)-sensitized and challenged BALB/c mice were orally administered heat-killed(HK)-Lactobacillus paracasei JY56.In this work,HK-L.paracasei JY56 alleviated the FA-induced decrease in body weight and rectal temperature and reduced the allergy score.Serum analysis showed that HK-L.paracasei JY56 reduced the levels of specific antibodies(OVA-specific Immunoglobulin E(sIgE) and OVA-specific Immunoglobulin G(sIgG)) and allergic mediators(histamine and mast cell protease) in FA mice.In addition,HK-L.paracasei JY56 also could alleviate OVA-induced FA by suppressing T helper(Th)2 and Th17-type immune responses,which was evidenced by the regulation of splenic lymphocyte subpopulations and associated cytokine secretion.Moreover,jejunal histological analysis and intestinal barrier function related gene expression measurement were performed to verify the intestinal barrier repair of HK-L.paracasei JY56.Meanwhile,the TLR4/NF-κB inflammatory pathway activation was inhibited by HK-L.paracasei JY56 at gene and protein levels.Finally,HK-L.paracasei JY56 was performed to modulate the gut microbiota structure and increase the levels of short-chain fatty acids.In conclusion,HK-L.paracasei JY56 could alleviate OVA-induced FA in multiple ways,and this study provides a theoretical basis for the application of inactivated probiotics in functional foods for FA.

文摘Background:To understand the health beliefs and knowledge of human papillomavirus among adult males in Tianjin.Methods:An online questionnaire survey was conducted from 18 January 2023 to 6 March 2023 using snowball sampling method.Analyze the health belief scores and human papillomavirus(HPV)and HPV vaccine knowledge scores of adult males in Tianjin,and analyze their influencing factors.Results:A total of 388 adult males in Tianjin were surveyed,with an average total score of 3.23±0.04 for their health beliefs.Among them,the average scores for perceived severity,perceived susceptibility,perceived impairment,perceived benefit,and self-efficacy were 3.41±1.05,2.37±1.20,2.96±1.00,3.51±0.90,and 3.36±1.08,respectively.Multiple linear regression analyses showed education was a factor influencing health beliefs.The average total score of knowledge is 64.09±15.62,with 277 people scoring above 60,and a pass rate of 71.4%.Through multiple linear regression analysis,education level,emotional status,whether disease testing has been done,and whether family and friends have been diagnosed with HPV positive are the main influencing factors.Conclusion:The awareness rate of HPV among adult males in Tianjin is still acceptable,but there are still misconceptions.The overall level of health beliefs is moderate,and the perceived susceptibility level is low.It is necessary to strengthen health education on HPV related knowledge for males and improve their cognitive level.

文摘Typical p-n junctions have emerged as a promising strategy for contending with charge carrier recombination in solar conversion.However,the photo-corrosion and unsuitable energy band positions still hinder their practical application for hydrogen production from water in photoelectrochemical systems.Here,an in-situ photo-oxidation method is proposed for achieving self-adapting activation of BiVO_(4)-based photoanodes with surface-encapsulated CuGaS_(2)particles by the ZnO layer.The self-adapting activation demotes the energy band positions of CuGaS_(2),establishing an S-scheme structure with BiVO_(4),resulting in an efficient p-n junction photoanode.The optimal sample exhibits enhanced photocurrent and an onset potential cathodically shifted by~300 mV compared with BiVO_(4),which is attributed to significantly enhanced charge transport and transfer efficiencies.As expected,it attains the highest photocurrent value of 5.87 mA·cm^(-2),aided by a hole scavenger at 1.23 V versus a reversible hydrogen electrode,which significantly surpasses that of BiVO_(4)(4.32 mA·cm^(-2)).

文摘Melon(Cucumis melo)is an economically important horticultural crop cultivated worldwide.NAC(NAM/ATAC/CUC)transcription factors play crucial roles in the transcriptional regulation of various developmental stages in plant growth and fruit development,but their gene functions in melon remain largely unknown.Here,we identified 78 CmNAC family genes with an integrated and conserved no apical meristem(NAM)domain in the melon genome by performing genome-wide identification and bioinformatics analysis.Transcriptome data analysis and qRTPCR results showed that most CmNACs are specifically enriched in either the vegetative or reproductive organs of melon.Through genetic transformation,we found that overexpression of CmNAC34 in melons led to early ripening fruits,suggesting its positive role in promoting fruit maturation.Using yeast two-hybrid and bimolecular fluorescence complementation assays,we verified the direct protein interaction between CmNAC34 and CmNACNOR.The expression patterns of CmNAC34 and CmNAC-NOR were similar in melon tissues,and subcellular localization revealed their nuclear protein characteristics.We transformed CmNAC-NOR in melon and found that its overexpression resulted in early ripening fruits.Then,the yeast one-hybrid and dual luciferase reporter gene assays showed that the CmNAC34 protein can bind to the promoters of two glyoxalase(GLY)genes,which are involved in the abscisic acid signal pathway and associated with fruit regulation.These findings revealed the molecular characteristics,expression profiles,and functional patterns of the NAC family genes and provide new insights into the molecular mechanism by which CmNAC34 regulates climacteric fruit ripening.

文摘Hybrid entangled states are crucial in quantum physics,offering significant benefits for hybrid quantum communication and quantum computation,and then the conversion of hybrid entangled states is equally critical.This paper presents two novel schemes,that is,one converts the two-qubit hybrid Knill–Laflamme–Milburn(KLM)entangled state into Bell states and the other one transforms the three-qubit hybrid KLM state into Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger(GHZ)states assisted by error-predicted and parity-discriminated devices.Importantly,the integration of single photon detectors into the parity-discriminated device enhances predictive capabilities,mitigates potential failures,and facilitates seamless interaction between the nitrogen-vacancy center and photons,so the two protocols operate in an error-predicted way,improving the experimental feasibility.Additionally,our schemes demonstrate robust fidelities(close to 1)and efficiencies,indicating their feasibility with existing technology.

文摘Hot compression tests were carried out in the temperature range of 1 223-1 473 Kand strain rate range of0.01-30s^-1 to investigate the flow behavior and microstructural evolution of super duplex stainless steel 2507(SDSS2507).It is found that most of the flow curves exhibit a characteristic of dynamic recrystallization(DRX)and the flow stress increases with the decrease of temperature and the increase of strain rate.The apparent activation energy Qof SDSS2507 with varying true strain and strain rate is determined.As the strain increases,the value of Qdeclines in different ways with varying strain rate.The microstructural evolution characteristics and the strain partition between the two constituent phases are significantly affected by the Zener-Hollomon parameter(Z).At a lower lnZ,dynamic recovery(DRV)and continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX)of the ferrite dominate the softening mechanism during the compression.At this time,steady state deformation takes place at the last stage of deformation.In contrast,a higher lnZ will facilitate the plastic deformation of the austenite and then activate the discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRX)of the austenite,which leads to a continuous decline of the flow stress even at the last deformation stage together with CDRX of the ferrite.

文摘Flexible-shelled eggs of the lizards Phrynocephalus przewalskii and P. versicolor were incubated under different thermal and hydric conditions to elicit the effects of incubation environment on hatching success, embryonic development and duration as well as hatchling phenotypes. Embryogenesis of the two species was not sensitive to changes in the hydric environment except P. przewalskii incubated in 30°C group. Temperature significantly altered the duration of embryogenesis, with cooler temperatures leading to a longer incubation period. Hatching success was greater at 26 and 30°C than at 34°C. The hatchlings incubated at 26 and 30°C had longer snout-vent length, larger body mass, and better locomotor performance than those incubated at 34°C. Compared to P. przewalskii, P. versicolor had a shorter incubation period and yielded smaller hatchlings, which then had a higher survival rate in cooler and drier habitats. We conclude that an incubation temperature of 30°C would produce the best balance among developmental rate, hatching success, and post-hatching performance. We speculate that the upper temperature limit for incubation of P. versicolor eggs may be slightly higher than 34°C.

文摘Ossifying fibroma(OF)and fibrous dysplasia(FD)are two fibro-osseous lesions with overlapping clinicopathological features,making diagnosis challenging.In this study,we applied a whole-genome shallow sequencing approach to facilitate differential diagnosis via precise profiling of copy number alterations(CNAs)using minute amounts of DNA extracted from morphologically correlated microdissected tissue samples.Freshly frozen tissue specimens from OF(n=29)and FD(n=28)patients were obtained for analysis.Lesion fibrous tissues and surrounding normal tissues were obtained by laser capture microdissection(LCM),with~30–50 cells(5000–10000µm2)per sample.We found that the rate of recurrent CNAs in OF cases was much higher(44.8%,13 of 29)than that in FD cases(3.6%,1 of 28).Sixty-nine percent(9 of 13)of the CNA-containing OF cases involved segmental amplifications and deletions on Chrs 7 and 12.We also identified eight CNA-associated genes(HILPDA,CALD1,C1GALT1,MICALL2,PHF14,AIMP2,MDM2,and CDK4)with amplified expression,which was consistent with the copy number changes.We further confirmed a jaw lesion with a previous uncertain diagnosis due to its ambiguous morphological features and the absence of GNAS mutation as OF based on the typical Chr 12 amplification pattern in its CNA profile.Moreover,analysis of a set of longitudinal samples collected from an individual with a cellular lesion in suspicion of OF at the first surgery,recurrence and the latest malignant transformation revealed identical CNA patterns at the three time points,suggesting that copy number profiling can be used as an important tool to identify borderline lesions or lesions with malignant potential.Overall,CNA profiling of fibro-osseous lesions can greatly improve differential diagnosis between OF and FD and help predict disease progression.

文摘AIM: To examine the therapeutic effects of tocilizumab on experimental corneal transplantation and its effect on Treg/Th17 balance. METHODS: Allograft corneal graft was performed between host Sprague Dawley and Wistar donor rats.The rats were randomly divided into four groups: normal,autograft, allograft, and allograft treated with tocilizumab.Kaplan-Meier was performed to draw the survival curve.The protein levels of interleukin-17A(IL-17A), vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), and forkhead box protein3(Foxp3) were measured by immunohistochemistry.The mRNA levels of IL-17A, VEGF, retinoid-related orphan receptor gammat(RORγt), interleukin-6(IL-6) and Foxp3 were detected by reverse transcription real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR). The Treg and Th17 cells were investigated by flow cytometry. RESULTS: The survival time of tocilizumab group was(24±1.27 d) longer than that of allograft group(10±0.55 d).Moreover, immunohistochemical examination revealed that IL-17A and VEGF protein levels in the allograft group were significantly higher than that of tocilizumab group(P<0.01),while Foxp3 levels in the allograft group was significantly lower than that of the tocilizumab treated group(P<0.001).Flow cytometry showed that the number of Th17 cellsin allograft group was significantly higher than that in tocilizumab group(P<0.001). Meanwhile, the number of Tregs was significantly lower than in tocilizumab group(P<0.001). Simultaneously, Foxp3 m RNA expression level in corneal tissues of tocilizumab treated group was significantly higher than other groups(P<0.001). CONCLUSION: These findings suggest that tocilizumab may promote corneal allograft survival, possibly by modulating Treg-Th17 balance.

文摘In the present study, a mouse model of sciatic nerve injury was treated with intraperitoneal injection of 7, 8-dihydroxycoumarin (10, 5, or 2.5 mg/kg per day). Western blot and real-time PCR results showed that growth associated protein 43 expression was significantly increased in the L4-6 segments of the spinal cord. The amplitude and velocity of motor nerve conduction in the sciatic nerve were significantly increased in model mice. In addition, the appearance of the myelin sheath in the injured sciatic nerve was regular, with an even thickness and clear outline, and the surrounding fibroplasia was not obvious. Our results indicate that 7, 8-dihydroxycoumarin can promote the repair of injured nerve by upregulating growth associated protein 43 expression in the corresponding spinal cord segments of mice with sciatic nerve injury.

文摘Manganese(Mn) ores contain substantial concentrations of mercury(Hg), and mining and smelting of Mn ores can bring Hg into the surrounding aquatic environment through atmospheric deposition, leaching of electrolytic Mn residue and Mn gangue dump. However, limited is known that how these processes influence the environmental behaviors of Hg in waterbody. Therefore, the seasonal distribution and existing form of Hg in water and sediment in one Mn ore area in Xiushan County, Chongqing were investigated. Our results showed that the mean Hg and methylmercury(Me Hg) concentrations in water( n = 35) were 5.8 ± 4.6 ng/L and 0.22 ± 0.14 ng/L, respectively. The mean Hg concentrations in retained riverbed and fluvial bank sediment( n = 35) were 0.74 ± 0.26 mg/kg and 0.63 ± 0.27 mg/kg, respectively(the mean Me Hg concentrations were 0.64 ± 0.40 μg/kg and 0.51 ± 0.30 μg/kg, respectively). It indicated that the mining and smelting of Mn ores were the main sources of anthropogenic Hg, and Mn may inhibit Hg methylation in rivers in Mn ore areas. Mercury in the bound to iron/Mn(Fe/Mn) oxides of low crystallinity fraction(Hg-OX) accounted for 4.01% and 5.25% of the total Hg concentrations in the retained riverbed and fluvial bank sediment, respectively. The amount of Hg bound to Fe/Mn oxides in sediment increased significantly due to the manganese mining activities in the investigated area. Therefore, it could be hypothesized that high Hg concentrations in river sediment in Mn mining areas are closely related to high Mn concentration in sediment.

文摘A new kind of phenyl-functionalized magnetic fibrous mesoporous silica(Fe3 O4@Si O2@KCC-1-phenyl) was prepared by copolymerization as an efficient adsorbent for the magnetic extraction of phthalate esters from environmental water samples. The obtained Fe3 O4@Si O2@KCC-1-phenyl showed monodisperse fibrous spherical morphology, fairly strong magnetic response(29 emu/g), and an abundant π-electron system, which allowed rapid isolation of the Fe3 O4@Si O2@KCC-1-phenyl from solutions upon applying an appropriate magnetic field. Several variables that affect the extraction efficiency of the analytes,including the type of the elution solvent, amount of adsorbent, extraction time and reusability, were investigated and optimized. Under optimum conditions, the Fe3 O4@Si O2@KCC-1-phenyl was used for the extraction of four phthalate esters from environmental water samples followed by high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis. Validation experiments indicated that the developed method presented good linearity(0.1-20 ng/m L), low limit of detection(7.5-29 μg/L, S/N =3). The proposed method was applied to the determination of phthalate esters in different real water samples, with relative recoveries of 93%-103.4%and relative standard deviation of 0.8%-8.3%.

文摘Penile length shortening and erectile dysfunction are common complications after radical prostatectomy.Various methods have been used to maintain erectile function,but less attention has been paid to preserving penis length.N-acetylcysteine(NAC)has the effect of antioxidation and antifibrotic,which may be beneficial to improve those postoperative complications.This study investigated the effect of NAC on maintaining the penile length and the erectile function after bilateral cavernous nerve crush(BCNC)and its underlying mechanism.Twenty-four male rats were randomly divided into three groups:control group,BCNC group,and BCNC+NAC group.NAC or equal volume of saline was daily administrated by intragastric gavage for 4 weeks.The initial and end penile lengths were measured.Intracavernosal pressure/mean arterial pressure(ICP/MAP)ratio was calculated to assess erectile function.Hematoxylin-eosin staining,Masson's trichrome staining,immunohistochemistry,and Western blot were performed to explore cellular and molecular changes of the penis.Compared to the BCNC group,the penile length,ICP/MAP ratio and smooth muscle/collagen ratio in the BCNC+NAC group were improved significantly(all P<0.05),and the expressions of endothelial nitric oxide synthase,α-smooth muscle actin,glutathione,and glutathione peroxidase 1 were significantly increased after NAC treated(all P<0.05),along with the decreased expressions of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α,transforming growth factor-β1,collagen I,collagen III,collagen IV,malonaldehyde,and lysine oxidase(all P<0.05).This study demonstrated that NAC could maintain penile length and partly improve erectile function.Possible mechanism is directly and/or indirectly related to antihypoxic and antifibrosis.

文摘Angucyclines are aromatic polyketides produced by typeⅡpolyketide synthase(PKS)exclusively from actinomycetes.These natural products contain hydrolyzable sugar moieties that attach to various positions of the polyketide skeleton and expand the structural diversity.We here report the isolation of two new angucyclines(1 and 2)from the deep-sea-derived Streptomyces sp.PKU-MA01297,which was isolated from a sediment sample collected at a depth of 3202 meters from the Indian Ocean.The structures of the two new compounds were elucidated based on comprehensive methods,including NMR,MS and CD analysis.Compounds 1 and 2 featured a 1-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl moiety that has not been reported for angucyclines.Several biological activity assays,including antibacterial,cytotoxicity and anti-inflammatory assays,were carried out,and compounds 1 and 2 showed no activities.These results set the stage for biosynthetic research and more biological activity assays in the future.

文摘Lead halide perovskites MAPbX_(3)(MA = CH_(3)NH_(3) or Cs;X = I, Br, Cl) are well considered to be potential candidates for photocatalytic reaction due to its excellent photoelectrical properties, but they still suffer from the low charge separation efficiency and slow catalytic reaction dynamics. To tackle the drawbacks, herein, MAPbBr_(3)/carbon sphere(CS) composite photocatalysts using glucose as the carbon source were elaborately designed and fabricated via a dry mechanochemical grinding process. The interfacial interaction Pb-O-C chemical bonds were constructed between MAPbBr_(3) and the carbon sphere surface containing organic functional groups. By optimizing the content of CSs, the enhanced photocatalytic degradation kinetic rate of Malachite Green(MG) pollutants(92% within 20 min) for MAPbBr_(3)/CS x( x = 17 wt.%) is about 3.6-fold of that for pristine MAPbBr_(3), which is attributed to the corporative adsorption and enhanced carrier transportation and separation of MAPbBr_(3)/CS x. Furthermore, the possible degradation mechanism was proposed on basis of the electrochemical, mass spectrometry and optical characterization results. Owing to the robust interfacial interaction, effective electron extraction rate( k et = 4.6 × 10^(7) sec^(-1)) from MAPbBr_(3) to CS can be established, which driven oxygen activation where superoxide radicals(·O^(2-)) played an important role in MG degradation. It is expected that mechanochemistry strategy may provide a new route to design efficient lead halide perovskite-carbon or metal oxide or sulfide composite photocatalysts.

文摘The pneumatic gripper in industrial applications has the advantages of structure simplicity and great adaptability,but its gripping power is usually limited due to the low modulus of soft materials.To address this problem,a novel bionic pneumatic gripper inspired by spider legs is proposed.The design has two pairs of symmetrical fingers,each finger consists of two pneumatic actuated joints,two rigid links and one pneumatic soft pad.The rigid link connects the pneumatic chamber which is enclosed in a retractable shell to increase the actuation pressure and the gripping force.The compressibility and elasticity of the soft joint and pad enable the gripper to grasp fragile objects without damage.The modeling of the bionic gripper is developed,and the parameters of the joint actuators are optimized accordingly.The prototype is manufactured and tested with the developed experimental platform,where the gripping force,flexibility and adaptability are evaluated.The results indicate that the designed gripper can grasp irregular and fragile items in sizes from 40 to 140 mm without damage,and the lifting weight is up to 15 N.
