Eliciting Dual‑Niche Immunological Priming by Acupoint Delivery of Nanovaccines

Immunization has long played essential roles in preventing diseases.However,the desire for precision delivery of vaccines to boost a robust immune response remains largely unmet.Here,we describe the use of acupoint delivery of nanovaccines(ADN)to elicit dual-niche immunological priming.ADN can simultaneously stimulate mast cell-assisted maturation of dendritic cells at the acupoint and enable direct delivery of nanovaccines into the draining lymph nodes.We demonstrate that ADN not only provokes antigen presentation by lymph node-resident CD8α^(+)dendritic cells,but also induces the accumulation of nanovaccines in B-cell zones,amplifying antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocyte responses and immunoglobulin G antibody expression in draining lymph nodes.ADN also generates systemic immune responses by causing immune memory and preventing T-cell anergy in the spleen.Further supported by evoking effective antitumor responses and high-level antiviral antibodies in mice,ADN provides a simple yet versatile platform for advanced nanovaccination. 展开更多

Rett syndrome is a progressive neurodevelopmental disorder that lacks effective treatments.Although deep-brain stimulation can alleviate some symptoms in Rett model mice,this interventional manipula-tion requires deliberate surgical operations.Here,we report that electro-acupuncture stimulation(EAS)can ameliorate symptoms of an Mecp2-knockout rat model of Rett syndrome from the remote acupoints Baihui(GV 20),Yongquan(KI 1),and Shenmen(HT 7).We find that EAS not only prolongs the survival time of Rett rats,but also improves their behavior ability,including locomotion,motor coordination,and social interaction.Neural activation was observed in the substantia nigra of the midbrain,corpus striatum,and cerebral cortex of wild-type and Rett model rats,as reflected by the increased expression of the c-Fos protein.Hence,EAS provides a potential promising therapeutic tool for treating neurodevel-opmental diseases. 展开更多

网络电话具有资费低、易操作、平台兼容性高等优点,因此得到迅速发展并获得广大消费者的青睐。Sipdroid是一款开源且使用简便的网络电话软件,其采用的Sip协议具有结构简单、支持多媒体业务的开展、符合互联网网络结构、可扩展性好、应... 网络电话具有资费低、易操作、平台兼容性高等优点,因此得到迅速发展并获得广大消费者的青睐。Sipdroid是一款开源且使用简便的网络电话软件,其采用的Sip协议具有结构简单、支持多媒体业务的开展、符合互联网网络结构、可扩展性好、应用灵活等优点。基于的Android平台具有良好的开源性和兼容性。网络在为人们提供信息共享的同时,对信息的安全性也造成了一定的威胁。本文为了进一步提高传输信息的安全性,在Sipdroid系统的基础上进行分析设计,添加信息隐藏模块,在实时语音通话的同时,实现了隐藏信息的嵌入、传输与提取。测试结果表明,在加入信息隐藏功能之后Sipdroid仍具有良好的使用性。 展开更多

Influence of Climatic Conditions on the Growth and Yield of Mangoes in Jingdong County, Yunnan Province

In order to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of climatic conditions on mango cultivation in Jingdong County,according to the requirements for meteorological conditions from the biological characteristics of mango trees,the climatic conditions of Jingdong station and the main mango production areas in Yunnan Province were compared,and the climatic characteristics in the high-and low-yield year were analyzed.The results show that in the middle and low altitude areas of Jingdong County,winter was dry and relatively warm,and summer was not extremely hot(the average temperature in the hottest month 23.8℃);the dry and wet seasons were distinct,and rainy and hot weather occurred in the same season(from June to September);there was sufficient sunshine in the winter half year.The main climatic advantages for mango cultivation in Jingdong County are manifested as follows:the overwintering temperature and light conditions were relatively favorable(the average temperature in the coldest month was 11.3℃,and average sunshine duration in the three months of winter was 6.3 h/d);the annual total heat was moderate,and≥10℃accumulated temperature was 6600℃·d;the temperature effectiveness during the main growing season of mangoes was relatively higher;the sunshine duration and climate humidity during the flower bud differentiation period were moderate(sunshine duration was 6.4 h/d,and monthly precipitation was 19.2 mm);the rainfall was abundant during the maturation period of fruits.The insufficient light and heat intensity during the maturation period of fruits(average sunshine duration was 4.4 h/d,and average temperature was 23.2℃from June to September),the susceptibility to the influence of spring drought during the young fruit stage of mangoes(precipitation was 141 mm from March to May),and relatively lower temperature during the flowering and pollination period in some years jointly constituted the main climatic constraints on local mango yield. 展开更多
