By employing many methods including distinguishing the land maps, interpreting the aerophotoes and Satellite photographes, consulting historical documents, investigating ancient cultural relics, making investigations ...By employing many methods including distinguishing the land maps, interpreting the aerophotoes and Satellite photographes, consulting historical documents, investigating ancient cultural relics, making investigations in the field, analysing the names and features of the place, and analysing the characteristics of the deposit, etc., a systematic study of the surface emerging palaeochannels on the South Coast Plain of Laizhou Bay has been made. Twenty five surface emerging palaeochannels were discovered and verified. According to the formation age, these palaeochannels were divided into two stages: six palaeochannels were formed in the Early and Middle Holocene, and nineteen palaeochannels were formed in the Late Holocene(the historical period). According to the landform features, the palaeochannels are divided into four categories: upland palaeochannel belts, strip shaped upland palaeochannels, trough shaped depression palaeochannels and ancient riverbeds. Among the four categories, the strip shaped upland palaeochannels are the main types. The swinging and movement of the channels helped the alluvial plains expand and cause the coastal ancient lakes to vanish in succession.展开更多
BACKGROUND Umbilical cord(UC)mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)transplantation is a potential therapeutic intervention for atherosclerotic vascular disease.Integrin beta 3(ITGB3)promotes cell migration in several cell types.H...BACKGROUND Umbilical cord(UC)mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)transplantation is a potential therapeutic intervention for atherosclerotic vascular disease.Integrin beta 3(ITGB3)promotes cell migration in several cell types.However,whether ITGBmodified MSCs can migrate to plaque sites in vivo and play an anti-atherosclerotic role remains unclear.AIM To investigate whether ITGB3-overexpressing MSCs(MSCs^(ITGB3))would exhibit improved homing efficacy in atherosclerosis.METHODS UC MSCs were isolated and expanded.Lentiviral vectors encoding ITGB3 or green fluorescent protein(GFP)as control were transfected into MSCs.Sixty male apolipoprotein E-/-mice were acquired from Beijing Vital River Lab Animal Technology Co.,Ltd and fed with a high-fat diet(HFD)for 12 wk to induce the formation of atherosclerotic lesions.These HFD-fed mice were randomly separated into three clusters.GFP-labeled MSCs(MSCs^(GFP))or MSCs^(ITGB3)were transplanted into the mice intravenously via the tail vein.Immunofluorescence staining,Oil red O staining,histological analyses,western blotting,enzymelinked immunosorbent assay,and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction were used for the analyses.RESULTS ITGB3 modified MSCs successfully differentiated into the“osteocyte”and“adipocyte”phenotypes and were characterized by positive expression(>91.3%)of CD29,CD73,and CD105 and negative expression(<1.35%)of CD34 and Human Leukocyte Antigen-DR.In a transwell assay,MSCs^(ITGB3)showed significantly faster migration than MSCsGFP.ITGB3 overexpression had no effects on MSC viability,differentiation,and secretion.Immunofluorescence staining revealed that ITGB3 overexpression substantially enhanced the homing of MSCs to plaque sites.Oil red O staining and histological analyses further confirmed the therapeutic effects of MSCs^(ITGB3),significantly reducing the plaque area.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction revealed that MSC^(ITGB3)transplantation considerably decreased the inflammatory response in pathological tissues by improving the dynamic equilibrium of pro-and anti-inflammatory cytokines.CONCLUSION These results showed that ITGB3 overexpression enhanced the MSC homing ability,providing a potential approach for MSC delivery to plaque sites,thereby optimizing their therapeutic effects.展开更多
Objective:To explore the protective effect and potential mechanisms of danshen root(Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.,S.miltiorrhiza) and its extracts for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods:Preclinical studies o...Objective:To explore the protective effect and potential mechanisms of danshen root(Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.,S.miltiorrhiza) and its extracts for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods:Preclinical studies of S.miltiorrhiza and its extracts on DN were systematically searched in nine databases.The primary outcomes were blood glucose,kidney function,proteinuria,and renal histopathology.The secondary outcomes included the related mechanisms.The methodological quality of animal studies was assessed based on the risk of bias tool of the Systematic Review Centre for Laboratory Animal Experimentation(SYRCLE) for animal studies.Meta-analysis was performed using R software(version 4.1.2).Results:Twenty-nine animal experimental studies that met the eligibility criteria were included in this study.Compared to the control group,S.miltiorrhiza reduced the serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen,24-h urine protein,24-h urine albumin,blood glucose,and kidney index(kidney weight/body weight),and alleviated renal pathological damage.In terms of the mechanism of action,compared to the control group,S.miltiorrhiza reduced the levels of transforming growth factor β1,collagen Ⅳ,malondialdehyde,tumor necrosis factor α,interleukin-6,and monocyte/macrophage(ED-1),and increased the levels of superoxide dismutase,glutathione peroxidase,nuclear factor E2-related factor 2,and heme oxygenase-1.Conclusion:The existing evidence shows that S.miltiorrhiza has beneficial effects on the animal model of DN,and its mechanism is mainly related to improving kidney fibrosis,oxidative stress,and inflammatory response.展开更多
Based on the theory of ecological organization,this paper analyzes the operation mechanism of chemical industry park(CIP)ecosystem by means of dynamic simulation.The research shows that the CIP ecosystem is a complex ...Based on the theory of ecological organization,this paper analyzes the operation mechanism of chemical industry park(CIP)ecosystem by means of dynamic simulation.The research shows that the CIP ecosystem is a complex ecological system whose operation mechanism includes two levels,namely individual enterprises and ecosystem.At the level of individual enterprise,there are competition,symbiosis,invasion and other interactions between enterprises in the CIP ecosystem.Through the pre-determined judgment of the competition effect coefficient and the symbiosis effect coefficient,we calculate how the enterprises influence each other,and then generate their respective operation paths,andfinally realize the long-term balance of the system.At the level of ecosystem,the CIP ecosystem makes self-organizing and self-adaptive adjustments and changes due to the changes of the exter-nal environment in policy,manpower,technology,capital,market,etc.,thus reaching the equilibrium state of coordinated operation and stable symbiosis with the external environment.展开更多
Developing a rapid and precise method for trace element analysis in geothermal water is crucial due to its high total dissolved solids and salinity,which can impact element determination.In this study,we optimized the...Developing a rapid and precise method for trace element analysis in geothermal water is crucial due to its high total dissolved solids and salinity,which can impact element determination.In this study,we optimized the determination of ferrum,manganese,strontium and barium in geothermal water samples collected from different regions.A matrix matching method was established for accurate quantification using Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy(ICP-OES).Instrumental conditions and experimental parameters were optimized,and the influence of storage medium and storage duration on measurement accuracy were evaluated.The results demonstrated that storing geothermal water samples in 1%nitric acid had no significant impact on measurement results over an eight-week period.Calibration curve correlation coefficients exceeded 0.9998 for all target elements.The detection limits of this method ranged from 0.0002 mg/L to 0.0031 mg/L,with Relative Standard Deviations(RSD)were 0.07%–2.33%,and spike recovery rates were from 96.8%to 103.2%.The obtained data were consistent with results from the standard addition method and dilution method,demonstrating the reliability of this approach.This method offers low detection limits,high precision and excellent recovery rate,providing a robust reference for the accurate determination of ferrum,manganese,strontium and barium in geothermal water,thereby laying a solid foundation for the development and utilization of geothermal resources.展开更多
