This paper aimed to identify the washing defects of denim garments and the remedies for these washing defects of denim garments in Bangladesh.The other purpose of this paper is to explain how such errors are related t...This paper aimed to identify the washing defects of denim garments and the remedies for these washing defects of denim garments in Bangladesh.The other purpose of this paper is to explain how such errors are related to the waste,production,and production costs of denim clothing.It also provides a statistical review of the denim sector in Bangladesh as compared to other countries.This paper is conveyed based on theoretical and statistical.It appears washing defects of denim garment,and their remedial actions and reveals the effect of washing defects on wastage,production,and production cost of denim garments.This research paper shows more washing defects of denim garments in Bangladesh.The statistical review displays that Bangladesh is exporting denim products nearly 200 million pieces every year over the world and ranks as the second-largest denim garments exporter after China.By studying this paper,the manufacturer of denim garments in Bangladesh and other countries will be conscious of these defects and able to minimize these defects that will help improve the economy all over the world.展开更多
This paper uses generalized method of moments(GMM),Least Squares(LS)and Generalized Linear Model(GLM)to examine the impact of competition on profitability of banks and Stochastic Frontier approach(SFA)is used to estim...This paper uses generalized method of moments(GMM),Least Squares(LS)and Generalized Linear Model(GLM)to examine the impact of competition on profitability of banks and Stochastic Frontier approach(SFA)is used to estimate of cost efficiency.We have used an unbalanced panel dataset from a sample of emerging economic MENA countries over the period between 2011 and 2017.We find out that have a significant and negative impact of competition on profitability of banks.The empirical findings of this study suggest that(1)MENA banks should more improve the process of managing and monitoring the loan segment business;the result which reducing in the level of credit risk which leads to higher profitability(2)MENA banks should shrink higher level of banking sector development.(3)MENA banks should make full conduct of available funds to engage in various natures of businesses;if there is an issue of insolvency,robust government support would give protection to MENA banks.Finally,it also provides some compulsory policy implications which will be very much beneficial for a wide range of stakeholders.展开更多
Every company wants to make a profit in the short run but doesn’t think about the long run.The environment and human resources are used by the companies but eventually,they will react in a repugnant way.The environme...Every company wants to make a profit in the short run but doesn’t think about the long run.The environment and human resources are used by the companies but eventually,they will react in a repugnant way.The environment is being polluted every day and it is a threat to human life as well as the world.To assess the impact of activities being done by the companies,a non-governmental organization was established in Boston called Global Reporting Initiative(GRI)in 1997.GRI(Global Reporting Initiative)established a sustainability reporting framework that provides a systematic guideline for the sake of companies to disclose their performance on the environmental,economic,and social degree of sustainability.This study will find out how responsible multinational(listed and non-listed)companies(MNC)in the case of sustainability reporting when they are consistently doing business in the environment of Bangladesh.This study was analyzed based on GRI(Global Reporting Initiative)guidelines towards their reporting on sustainability.A quantitative score from 0 to 3 was given for each of 84 performance indicators(9,30,and 45 exhibitors for environmental,economic,and social dimensions respectively)of the GRI 3 guidelines based on sustainability reporting.This study reports that tidings on the economic degree are better compared to environmental and social dimensions.Much deviation is reported in environmental and social dimensions,but less deviation is reported in economic dimensions by the selected companies as the sample.Overall,the reporting practices of Nestle Bangladesh Ltd are better than other selected companies.展开更多

Using a qualitative research approach,the current analysis aimed to investigate the COVID-19 pandemic's effect on Bangladesh's higher education from the viewpoint of students.The report comprises a survey of 3...Using a qualitative research approach,the current analysis aimed to investigate the COVID-19 pandemic's effect on Bangladesh's higher education from the viewpoint of students.The report comprises a survey of 300 students from higher education institutions.The Convenience sampling method is used to pick fifty university students for the study to collect enough data to answer the test query.They were students from Bangladesh's eight universities(five public universities and three private universities)and three other universities.The pandemic of COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on all facets of human life,including education.It has culminated in learning experiences that have never been seen before.Many schools and universities have shut their doors and moved their teaching and learning to the internet.This study found that there has an effect of COVID-19 on the higher education system in Bangladesh.Both the government and private universities are required to work together to resolve the academic delays as fast as possible,such as the closing of educational schools and the transition to online schooling,which have a serious impact on the education sector and students'lives.This is the first study of Bangladesh.This study tries to find out the problem of education systems and solving the problem of Bangladesh which will be a great effect on the education system of Bangladesh and the economy.展开更多
