Supercapacitors with good electrochemical performance and flexibility are in great demand.In this paper,the concept of preparing 3D porous carbon monoliths via direct calcination of melamine sponge is presented.This preparation method is simple and has good control of the structure.Porous carbon composite nickel-manga nese oxides can be obtained by hydrothermal method followed with calcination.The electrochemical performances were tested and porous carbon monoliths with NiMn oxides exhibited a specific capacitance of 870 F/g in 1 mol/L KOH at a charge/discharge current density of 0.5 A/g and a capacity retention of 89.9% after 5000 times charge and discharge. 展开更多

目的:探讨复发/难治性多发性骨髓瘤(relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma,RRMM)患者伴继发髓外病变(secondary extramedullary disease,sEMD)后应用脂质体阿霉素(liposomal doxorubicin,LPD)治疗的疗效、无进展生存期(progression-fre... 目的:探讨复发/难治性多发性骨髓瘤(relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma,RRMM)患者伴继发髓外病变(secondary extramedullary disease,sEMD)后应用脂质体阿霉素(liposomal doxorubicin,LPD)治疗的疗效、无进展生存期(progression-free survival,PFS)与安全性,以及RRMM患者出现sEMD的总生存期(overall survival,OS)及预后因素。方法:回顾性分析2015年1月至2020年1月就诊于首都医科大学附属北京朝阳医院西院的40例RRMM伴sEMD、接受LPD治疗患者的临床资料。记录患者初诊基线特征,继发sEMD的临床表现。观察其应用LPD的疗效、不良反应与PFS;并根据sEMD临床特点对其进行亚组分析,多因素分析得出sEMD-OS预后因素。结果:多因素分析显示国际分期系统(international stage system,ISS)Ⅲ期为继发EMD的危险因素。所有患者完成中位5(3~9)个疗程的LPD治疗,2个疗程总体反应率(overall response rate,ORR)为60.0%,13例完成6个疗程及以上化疗,ORR为100%;3级以上不良反应率为5%;预计中位PFS(median PFS,mPFS)为8.0个月(95%CI:7.5~8.5),界标分析示LPD≥6个疗程组相比于<6个疗程组PFS延长(P=0.093)。预计sEMD中位OS(median OS,mOS)为22.0个月(95%CI:18.2~25.8),1年OS率为73.6%,2年OS率为38.2%。多因素回归分析显示,非骨旁sEMD与乳酸脱氢酶(lactate dehydrogenase,LDH)>250 U/L为sEMD-OS的独立预后因素。结论:含LPD方案治疗RRMM继发EMD短期疗效好,安全性高。非骨旁sEMD及LDH>250 U/L预后不良,此类患者需寻求其他治疗策略。 展开更多

A series of semi-aromatic polyesters named as Poly(PO-CHO-PA) were facilely synthesized via ring-opening terpolymerization of biobased cyclohexane oxide(CHO)/propylene oxide(PO)/phthalic anhydride(PA) using economical U1/PPNCl as dual catalyst. The proportion of CHO-PA and PO-PA segments in polymer can be readily altered by changing the feed ratio of CHO/PO because the reactivity ratios of CHO and PO with PA calculated by Fineman-Ross method are comparable. All synthesized amorphous polyesters with various compositions show one Tg ranging from 62 ℃ to 133 ℃. Significantly, the mechanical, thermal and barrier properties of these amorphous semi-aromatic polyesters are also adjustable and investigated for the first time. The results indicate the semi-polyesters exhibit superior thermostability(T5% ranging from 306 ℃ to323 ℃) and high tensile strength(40.21-55.7 MPa) that is comparable with polystyrene(PS). Furthermore, Poly(PO-CHO-PA) films possess a promising prospect as packaging materials because of its colorless and highly transparent nature, along with low oxygen and water vapor transmission rate. All above performances may guarantee its potential alternative to commercial PS. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Multiple myeloma(MM)complicated with extramedullary disease(EMD)has a poor prognosis and is a limiting factor in the treatment of MM,and no standard treatment is recommended in international guidelines.Few studies have reported MM with periorbital EMD.CASE SUMMARY In this paper,the clinical characteristics and survival of seven patients with multiple myeloma and orbital are described and analyzed.The common ocular symptoms were blurred vision,proptosis and/or eye movement disorders,IgG type MM may be a risk factor for orbital involvement.Of them,six patients were treated with bortezomib-based regimens.The median overall survival(OS)and progression free survival for the entire cohort were 48 and 33 mo,respectively,which was much worse than the OS reported for MM patients without orbital EMD.CONCLUSION Orbital MM may have significantly shortened survival for the entire cohort,so multidisciplinary collaboration is emphasized and recommended in the diagnosis and treatment of these difficult cases. 展开更多

[Objectives]This study aimed to select evergreen broad-leaved woody plants with higher ornamental value and stronger cold tolerance for introduction from the south to the north,and to apply them to urban greening,so as to enrich the plant community structure of the landscape in the northern region.[Methods]Three species of evergreen broad-leaved woody plants,i.e.,Ligustrum lucidum,Ilex cornuta and Eriobotrya japonica,were selected as the experimental materials.The morphological performances and the changes of the physiological indexes were observed and measured during the overwintering period in the open field in Beijing.The relationship between the indexes and the low temperature was also analyzed.The strength of cold tolerance of the three species was compared.[Results]The electrical conductivity,the contents of MDA and proline were negatively correlated with the corresponding low temperature.The contents of soluble sugar and soluble protein increased with the dropping temperature,but they had little response to the short-term temperature rise.[Conclusions]Combined with morphological and physiological indexes,it was found that the changes of the contents of proline and soluble sugar among the physiological indexes were closely related to the cold tolerances of the three tree species of broad-leaved woody plants.The cold tolerance of I.cornuta was the strongest,E.japonica was the second,and that of L.lucidum was the worst. 展开更多

Comparison of Cold Tolerance in Three Ground-cover Chrysanthemum Cultivars during Wintering in the Open Field

[Objectives]Among many chrysanthemum types,the ground-cover chrysanthemum cultivar group has the characteristics of dwarf plant,long flowering period,rich color and strong resistance to stress.This study aimed to screen out cultivars with strong cold tolerance in order that they can be used for planting in urban green space and economic forests in northern cold areas,so as to enrich the plant community structures of landscape in cold regions.[Methods]Three ground-cover chrysanthemum cultivars,i.e.,‘Meiaihuang’,‘Xinhong’and‘Zixunzhang’,were selected as the experimental materials.During the wintering period in the field in Beijing,they were observed and measured for the changes of the morphological manifestations and the physiological indices,and the relationship between the indices and low temperature was analyzed.The cold tolerance of the three ground-cover chrysanthemum cultivars was also comprehensively evaluated.[Results]During the open-field overwintering period,the root activity of the three ground-cover chrysanthemum cultivars increased slowly with cooling,decreased at the freezing low temperature,and then increased again in early spring.With natural cooling,the membrane injury percentages(MIPs)of the leaves and foot shoots increased significantly,and the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA)increased;the contents of soluble sugar(SS)and proline(Pro)gradually accumulated,and the contents of SS and Pro in foot shoots increased significantly in late winter;and the superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity showed a similar trend of rising slowly at first and then increasing significantly.There were correlations between MIPs in the leaves and foot shoots of the three cultivars and other physiological indices:a significant negative correlation with MDA content,and a significant positive correlation with SS content,Pro content and SOD activity.[Conclusions]Combining the morphological manifestations and physiological indices,the cold tolerance of the three ground-cover chrysanthemum cultivars was evaluated by the subordinate function method.The results showed that the cold tolerance of the three ground-cover chrysanthemum cultivars ranked as‘Meiaihuang’>‘Xinhong’>‘Zixunzhang’.The strong cold tolerance of foot shoots and roots was the main reason that the three ground-cover chrysanthemum cultivars could overwinter in the open field. 展开更多

A Preliminary Screening of Optimum Medium and Symbiotic Fungi for Paphiopedilum dianthum

[Objectives]This study aimed to screen the suitable medium and symbiotic fungi for tissue culture of Paphiopedilum dianthum and to establish a rapid propagation system of Paphiopedilum,so as to promote the development of planting industry and commercial application of Paphiopedilum.[Methods]Using P.dianthum as an experimental materials,the optimal culture medium for P.dianthum was selected from DE medium,Harvais modified medium and(bark+DE)liquid medium.Then,six fungal species isolated from the original habitat soil of Paphiopedilum were co-cultured with P.dianthum on the selected optimal culture medium.By comparing the morphology,the growth amount and the physiological indexes,such as chlorophyll content,soluble sugar content and root vitality of tissue culture plantlets of P.dianthum co-cultured with the six fungal species,the suitable fungal strains for symbiosis with P.dianthum were screened out.[Results]In three kinds of culture media,P.dianthum grew normally.The growth rate was higher than that in the mediums containing DE,and there were no significant differences in the content of soluble sugar from the leaves of tissue culture plantlets,which were symbiotic with the six different fungi species.Among the six fungi species growing on the optimal medium,the growing rate of XH-A was the fastest,and that of YY001 was the slowest.The growth and physiological indexes of P.dianthum co-cultured with DY1 in DE medium were higher than those in the control group.[Conclusions]DE medium was the optimal tissue culture medium for P.dianthum,and the optimal symbiotic fungus was DY1. 展开更多

Aim Mirabilis himalaica(Nyctaginaceae)is an endangered medicinal plant mainly distributed in the plateau region of northern Tibet,China.The outer surface of M.himalaica achenes is covered by a pectinaceous mucilaginous layer upon hydration.However,the role of the achene mucilage is poorly understood.in this study,we inves-tigated the effects of mucilage on achene germination and sprout growth under abiotic stress to explain how M.himalaica survive the alpine environment.Methods We investigated the effect of mucilage on achenes germination by contrast the capacity of water absorption,dehydration and respira-tion of intact achene and the achene with mucilage removal.We performed abiotic stresses experiments including drought stress,salt stress,cold stress and high temperature stress,and quantified the effects of mucilage removal on achene germination rate,root and shoot lengths of seedlings.Important Findings Mucilage is extremely hydrophilic,and the mass of intact achenes can be 9-fold greater than that of demucilaged achenes.The removal of the mucilaginous layer did not significantly change final germination percentages under ideal conditions,but intact achenes(i.e.with muci-lage)took longer to germinate.The mucilage significantly decreased seed respiration rates by acting as a physical barrier that prevented oxygen diffusion.Germination rates,shoot and root growth of intact achenes were higher than those of demucilaged ones during exposures to cold,heat,osmotic and salt stresses.Achene mucilage presumably plays an ecologically important role in the life cycle of M.himalaica by aiding the critical achene germination and early seedling growth in the stressful habitats of the plateau region of northern Tibet. 展开更多
