METHODS: The CT scans of 12 patients with abdominal nonhematogenous disseminated TL suggestive of neoplasm were retrospectively analyzed in this review. The final diagnoses were confirmed by lymph node pathology for seven patients and by laparoscopic surgery for five patients. All of the patients were treated at our institution between April 1995 and August 2009. RESULTS: The sites of involvement were the periportal (n = 6), peripancreatic (n = 3), periaortic (n = 3), and mesenteric (n = 2) regions. On the plain CT scan, the lymphadenopathy showed a heterogeneous isodensity or hypodensity in 11 patients and a low density in one patient. Peripheral enhancement was observed on the dynamic contrast-enhanced CT scans for all patients. In two cases, scans were more revealing during the portal venous and delayed phases. CONCLUSION: Abdominal lymphadenopathy with predominant peripheral rim-like enhancement on the dynamic contrast-enhanced CT scan may suggest a diagnosis of TL.展开更多

文摘Selective reductive amination of carbonyl compounds with high activity is very essential for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, but scarcely successful paradigm was reported via efficient photocatalytic reactions.Herein, the ultrasmall Ru nanoclusters(~0.9 nm)were successfully fabricated over P25 support with positive charged Ru^(δ+)species at the interface.A new route was developed to achieve the furfural(FAL)to furfurylamine(FAM)by coupling the light-driven reductive amination and hydrogen transfer of ethanol over this type catalyst.Strikingly, the photocatalytic activity and selectivity are strongly dependent on the particle size and electronic structure of Ruthenium. The Ru^(δ+)species at the interface promote the formation of active imine intermediates;moreover, the Ru nanoclusters facilitate the separation efficiency of electrons and holes as well as accelerate the further hydrogenation of imine intermediates to product primary amines. In contrast Ru particles in larger nanometer size facilitate the formation of the furfuryl alcohol and excessive hydrogenation products. In addition, the coupling byproducts can be effectively inhibited via the construction of sub-nanocluster.This study offers a new path to produce the primary amines from biomass-derived carbonyl compounds over hybrid semiconductor/metal-clusters photocatalyst via light-driven tandem catalytic process.

文摘Four mono-and bi-nuclear lanthanide complexes [LnL1(No3)(H2O)DMF](Ln=Nd(1) and Yb(2)) and[Ln2(L2)2(OAc)2](Ln=Nd(3) and Yb(4)) were synthesized by using two new Schiff base ligands with long(CH2)2 NH(CH2)2 backbone. The lengths of the Schiff base ligands are about 1.8 nm.The bi-nuclear lanthanide complexes 3 and 4 have nanoscale structures with sizes of approximately 0.7 nm×1.1 nm×1.6 nm.For 3,the molar ratio of Nd:Br:O obtained by the energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis is in agreement with the crystal structure. The chromogenic Schiff base ligands in1-4 can efficiently transfer energy to lanthanide ions, thus, these complexes exhibit the typical NIR luminescence of lanthanide ions.Interestingly,3 and 4 have higher NIR emission quantum yields(Φem)than 1 and 2,respectively.
文摘AIM: To assess the diagnostic value of computed tomography (CT) imaging in screening for abdominal nonhematogenous disseminated tuberculous lymphadenopathy (TL). CONCLUSION: Abdominal lymphadenopathy with predominant peripheral rim-like enhancement on the dynamic contrast-enhanced CT scan may suggest a diagnosis of TL.

文摘Long-term levodopa administration can lead to the development of levodopa-induced dyskinesia.Gamma oscillations are a widely recognized hallmark of abnormal neural electrical activity in levodopa-induced dyskinesia.Currently, studies have reported increased oscillation power in cases of levodopa-induced dyskinesia. However, little is known about how the other electrophysiological parameters of gamma oscillations are altered in levodopa-induced dyskinesia.Furthermore, the role of the dopamine D3 receptor, which is implicated in levodopa-induced dyskinesia,in movement disorder-related changes in neural oscillations is unclear. We found that the cortico-striatal functional connectivity of beta oscillations was enhanced in a model of Parkinson’s disease.Furthermore, levodopa application enhanced cortical gamma oscillations in cortico-striatal projections and cortical gamma aperiodic components,as well as bidirectional primary motor cortex(M1)↔dorsolateral striatum gamma flow.Administration of PD128907(a selective dopamine D3 receptor agonist)induced dyskinesia and excessive gamma oscillations with a bidirectional M1↔dorsolateral striatum flow. However, administration of PG01037(a selective dopamine D3 receptor antagonist)attenuated dyskinesia, suppressed gamma oscillations and cortical gamma aperiodic components, and decreased gamma causality in the M1→dorsolateral striatum direction. These findings suggest that the dopamine D3 receptor plays a role in dyskinesia-related oscillatory activity, and that it has potential as a therapeutic target for levodopa-induced dyskinesia.

文摘The coastal ocean west of Guangdong Province(refers to Yuexi)is characterized as wide and shallow continental shelf, and connected to the Beibu Gulf through the Qiongzhou Strait(as shown in Fig.1).The circulation pattern is complicated, controlled by the East Asian monsoon, tides, buoyancy forcing, and topography. In general, the mean cur-rent on the shelf flows southwestward in winter and northeastward in summer, while the coastal current flows always southwestward in summer(Yang et al.,2003;Shu et al.,2018).
文摘BACKGROUND The dexmedetomidine(DEX)plus ropivacaine treatment enables a transversus abdominis plane block(TAPB)of the peripheral nerves in patients undergoing radical resection for colorectal cancer(CRC)that can provide clinical data for improving the postoperative analgesic effect, reducing the risk of cognitive impairment, and decreasing the circulating levels of serum inflammatory factors and stress hormones.AIM To assess the impact of DEX plus ropivacaine-enabled TAPB on pain, postoperative cognitive dysfunction(POCD),and inflammatory/stress factors.METHODS Our patient cohort was randomly divided into control and observation groups(60/group).The observation group used a DEX plus ropivacaine-enabled TAPB,while the control group employed a ropivacaine-enabled TAPB.The pain score[Visual Analogy Scale(VAS),Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)],serum inflammatory factor level(C-reactive protein,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α),serum stress hormone levels(cortisol and adrenaline)and postoperative adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.RESULTS The observation group VAS scores were lower than those of the control group(better analgesic effect,P<0.05).The MoCA and POCD scores decreased post-surgery in the observation group(P<0.05).In the elderly, the overall VAS and MoCA scores were significantly reduced compared with the young group. The C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,tumor necrosis factor-α,cortisol and adrenaline levels were lower in the observation group compared with the control group post-surgery(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups post-surgery,but the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was still lower.DEX continuously inhibited p65-phosphorylation levels in the nuclear factorκB pathway at multiple time points, and its inhibitory effect became more significant over time.CONCLUSION DEX plus ropivacaine-enabled TAPB reduces POCD and inflammatory/stress hormone levels, and significantly improves the postoperative analgesic effect of patients undergoing radical resection for colorectal cancer.

文摘Post-translational modifications(PTMs)regulate the activity and functionality of RELA,but their role in the pathogenesis of liver fibrosis is unclear. This study was performed to understand the regulation mechanism of acetylation of RELA on liver inflammation and fibrosis in a model animal of innate glucose intolerance, largemouth bass, and to provide a potential target and biomarker for liver fibrosis therapy. We found that the acetylation of total proteins and RELA was significantly reduced in fibrotic livers of largemouth bass induced by a high-carbohydrate and high-fat diet(HCHFD)and CCL4 challenge.Furthermore, quantitative acetylome data showed that the K119 site of RELA was deacetylated in fibrotic livers compared to healthy controls.Subsequently,we reveal a new mechanism that SIRT7 deacetylates RELA at the K119 site in largemouth bass.RELA K119 deacetylation enhances RELA transcriptional activity by increasing its DNA-binding activity, and facilitates nuclear translocation of RELA,resulting in the overwhelming release of proinflammatory factors, and subsequently enhancing liver inflammation and fibrosis.Pharmacological inhibition of SIRT7 using a specific inhibitor restores the decreased acetylation of RELA in vivo and in vitro, and reduces the transcriptional activity, nuclear localization of RELA and the expression of its target genes, which ultimately attenuates liver inflammation and fibrosis. These findings uncover a novel mechanism underlying liver fibrosis involving SIRT7-mediated deacetylation of RELA to activate the proinflammatory gene program, and thus provide important insights and biomarkers into the effective strategies for limiting liver inflammation and fibrosis.

文摘BACKGROUND Kushenol I(KSCI)exhibits potential anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. However, its therapeutic effects and mechanisms in ulcerative colitis(UC)remain unclear.AIM To investigate the therapeutic effects and mechanisms of KSCI in alleviating UC.METHODS Therapeutic targets for KSCI in treating UC were identified using network pharmacology.Molecular docking and dynamics simulations confirmed the interactions between KSCI and these targets. In a murine UC model induced by dextran sodium sulfate(DSS),the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of KSCI were evaluated following oral administration,as well as its impact on intestinal barrier function and immune response modulation. Finally, changes in gut microbiota composition were analyzed using 16S ribosomal RNA sequencing.RESULTS A total of 192 potential targets of KSCI in treating UC were identified using network pharmacology.KSCI bound stably to core targets including protein kinase B(AKT),p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(p38 MAPK),NOD-like receptor thermal protein domain associated protein 3(NLRP3),phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K),forkhead box O1(FOXO1),and Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4).The oral administration of KSCI improved colon length and body weight, and reduced disease activity in a mouse model of DSS-induced UC.KSCI suppressed pro-inflammatory cytokines(interleukin[IL-1β],IL-6,IL-17,and tumor necrosis factor alpha)and promoted the expression of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10.It also inhibited key signaling molecules and modulated the expression of IL-1β,AKT,p38 MAPK,NLRP3,PI3K,AKT,FOXO1,and TLR4.KSCI exhibited potent antioxidant effects, ameliorating colonic inflammation and tissue damage. It improved intestinal barrier function, influenced gut microbiota composition, and increased splenic T-cell percentages.CONCLUSION KSCI alleviated DSS-induced UC by modulating gut microbiota, enhancing the intestinal barrier, reducing inflam-mation and oxidative stress, and regulating the immune response.

文摘In this paper, the N-soliton solutions for the massive Thirring model(MTM)in laboratory coordinates are analyzed via the Riemann-Hilbert(RH)approach.The direct scattering including the analyticity, symmetries, and asymptotic behaviors of the Jost solutions as|λ|→∞andλ→0 are given.Considering that the scattering coefficients have simple zeros, the matrix RH problem, reconstruction formulas and corresponding trace formulas are also derived.Further, the N-soliton solutions in the reflectionless case are obtained explicitly in the form of determinants. The propagation characteristics of one-soliton solutions and interaction properties of two-soliton solutions are discussed. In particular, the asymptotic expressions of two-soliton solutions as|t|→∞are obtained, which show that the velocities and amplitudes of the asymptotic solitons do not change before and after interaction except the position shifts. In addition, three types of bounded states for two-soliton solutions are presented with certain parametric conditions.
