By using CaspGLOWTM fluorescein active caspase-3 staining method, caspase-3 enzymatic activities were detected in response to alginic acid bacteria in Laminaria japonica sporophytic tissues. Results showed that caspase-3 enzymatic activities were observed at 5 min after the infection. Caspase-3 enzymatic activity increased with the infection time, and had a tendency of moving from the infection site to outside. By applying caspase-specific peptide inhibitor Z-VAD-FMK, caspase-3 activation could be effectively abolished in the infected tissues. Our results indicate that programmed cell death (PCD) may be involved in the infected Laminaria japonica sporophytic tissues, and provide the evidence that defense mechanisms in algae may have similar caspase cascade events in animals.展开更多

Also the DNH algorithm has the characteristics of giving up queuing in a node, but selecting another idle node instead of the node for forwarding data packets if the node has a full throughput. Simulation evaluation shows that selecting another node is better than queuing in a full throughout node if some conditions are satisfied, especially during a sea battle, every warship in ad hoc network wants to contest time and increase propagation reliability. The DNH algorithm can help decrease routing time, and raise efficiency of marine ad hoc networks.展开更多

The new network combines the advantages of both projectionpursuit and wavelet shrinkage. Restoring image is very difficult when little is known about apriori knowledge for multisource degraded factors. WDPPLN successfully resolves this problemby separately processing wavelet coefficients and scale coefficients. Parameters in WDPPLN,which are used to simulate degraded factors, are estimated via WDPPLN training, using scalecoefficients. Also, WDPPLN uses soft-threshold of wavelet shrinkage technique to suppress noisein three high frequency subbands. The new method is compared with the traditional methodsand the Projection Pursuit Learning Network (PPLN) method.
