This study evaluated the clinical efficacy of Thunder-Fire moxibustion combined with ovulation monitoring for the treatment of adenomyosis-associated infertility.A series of 120 patients diagnosed with uterine adenomy...This study evaluated the clinical efficacy of Thunder-Fire moxibustion combined with ovulation monitoring for the treatment of adenomyosis-associated infertility.A series of 120 patients diagnosed with uterine adenomyosis and infertility and cold coagulation blood stasis syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine(with the clinical manifestations of premenstrual or menstrual lower abdomen cold pain,pain reduction with heat application,and cold extremities)were randomized equally to treatment group with Thunder-Fire moxibustion and ovulation monitoring as well as control group with ovulation monitoring only.Treatment continued for six menstrual cycles.The pregnancy rate of the treatment group was significantly increased with the control group(50.0%vs.23.3%,P=0.021).Dysmenorrhea and the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in the treatment group improved significantly compared with the control group(3.87±2.03 vs.5.70±1.01,P=0.002 and 7.33±4.11 vs.10.52±2.33,P=0.006,respectively),and there was also significant between-group differences in serum cancer antigen 125(55.45±14.65 vs.63.34±11.41,P=0.031).However,the average uterus diameters in the treatment and control groups were not significantly different(67.13±7.59 vs.69.89±5.30,P=0.137).Thunder-Fire moxibustion with ovulation monitoring improved the pregnancy rate of patients diagnosed with adenomyosis-associated infertility.展开更多
The Novel Coronavirus(COVID-19),which broke out in Wuhan,China in December 2019,attracted worldwide attention.With a long incubation period and strong infectiousness,COVID-19 poses a great threat to the life and healt...The Novel Coronavirus(COVID-19),which broke out in Wuhan,China in December 2019,attracted worldwide attention.With a long incubation period and strong infectiousness,COVID-19 poses a great threat to the life and health worldwide with high incidence,high pathogenicity and low sensitivity to antibiotics.At present,there are less kinds of antiviral drugs,including rimantadine hydiochloride,acyclovir,interferon,zidovudine,ribavirin,etc.,which maybe lead to severe adverse reactions of the nervous system,hematopoietic system,liver and kidney system,as well as side effects such as nausea,vomiting,upper abdominal discomfort and diarrhea.Meanwhile,the development of antiviral drugs requires huge investment and time,the development of effective antiviral drugs and vaccine lags far behind the rapidly developed disease.Traditional Chinese medicine has played an important role against the infection,especially in the fight against severe acute respiratory syndrome,H1N1 influenza,H7N9 flu virus,middle east respiratory syndrome and Ebola virus infection.In this paper,the classification,mechanism,existing problems and the prospect of traditional Chinese medicine in antiviral treatment has been summarized in order to provide certain reference for the research and prescription screening of traditional Chinese medicine anti-COVID-19 drugs.展开更多
The development of high-performance Ir-based catalyst for electrocatalysis of oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in acidic media plays a critical role in realizing the commercialization of polymer electrolyte membrane-base...The development of high-performance Ir-based catalyst for electrocatalysis of oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in acidic media plays a critical role in realizing the commercialization of polymer electrolyte membrane-based water electrolyzer technology.Here we report a low-Ir core–shell OER electrocatalyst consisting of an intermetallic IrGa(IrGa-IMC)core and a partially oxidized Ir(IrOx)shell.In acidic electrolytes,the IrGa-IMC@IrOx core–shell catalysts exhibit a low overpotential of 272 mV at 10 mA·cm^(−2) with Ir loading of~20µg·cm^(−2) and a mass activity of 841 A·gIr^(−1) at 1.52 V,which is 3.6 times greater than that of commercial Ir/C(232 A·gIr^(−1))catalyst.We understand by the density functional theory(DFT)calculations that the enhanced OER activity of the IrGa-IMC@IrO_(x) catalysts is ascribed to the lifted degeneracy of Ir 5d electron of surface IrO_(x) sites induced by the intermetallic IrGa core,which increases the adsorption capacity of IrO_(x) layer for O and OH binding and eventually lowers the energy barrier of the OER rate-determining steps.展开更多
