Compounds with 1,3,5-triazine ring such as melamine derivatives,known for their low cost and high stability,offer potential for affordable,stable metal organic framework(MOF)synthesis.However,reported such frameworks ...Compounds with 1,3,5-triazine ring such as melamine derivatives,known for their low cost and high stability,offer potential for affordable,stable metal organic framework(MOF)synthesis.However,reported such frameworks are facing issues like low stability and reduced porosity.To overcome such problems,we explored organic ligands with protonated nitrogen atoms on the 1,3,5-triazine ring,facilitated by introducing hydroxyl groups on carbon atoms of the triazine ring to construct MOFs.By using 5-azacytosine,we have successfully synthesized SXU-121,a neutral ultramicroporous MOF with eta-topology and high density of open Cu(Ⅰ)sites.SXU-121 features robust structural stability and significant CO_(2)adsorption capacity with high selectivity over N_(2) under ambient conditions.We believe SXU-121's development opens new avenues for creating a class of stable and low cost metal-triazine frameworks with potential diverse functionalities.展开更多
