Unraveling the exhumation history of the source terrains of the western Jianghan Basin(Central China)through detrital zircon fission track dating

The Jianghan Basin,at the junction of the Jiangnan and Qinling-Dabie orogenic belts,has a complete Cretaceous to Paleogene stratigraphic record.However,the exhumation history of its source terrains is not well understood.We conducted fission track age analysis on zircon grains(n=441)from the Cretaceous and Paleogene strata in the western Jianghan Basin.The Radial Plotter software is utilized to identify peak ages that indicate thermal events and the history of exhumation.The oldest peak at 810 Ma records the Neoproterozoic collisional orogeny between the Yangtze Craton and Cathaysian Block.Ages of 645-558 Ma reflect the convergence between the South China Block and Gondwana.Early Paleozoic ages document the collision leading to the exhumation of the western Jiangnan Orogenic Belt.Late Paleozoic to early Mesozoic peak ages correspond to the Indosinian orogeny.During the Mesozoic,the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate resulted in further exhumation.The absence of Paleogene zircon fission track peak ages in the basin strata suggests limited exhumation during this period,likely due to tectonic quiescence and arid climatic conditions. 展开更多

A sealed portal could significantly alter the flame shape and smoke flow characteristics in inclined tunnel fires.In inclined tunnels,two typical sealing conditions could be defined,namely the upper portal sealed and the lower portal sealed.In this study,the effects of tunnel slope on flame shape,flame length,along with smoke mass flow rate and induced velocity at the tunnel portal,are numerically investigated.The results show that,in all scenarios,flames initially rise vertically but tilt toward the sealed portal during the quasi-steady stage,with the largest tilt angle observed in tunnels sealed at the lower portal.The slope significantly affects the flame tilt angle.The flame tilt angle in tunnels with the lower portal sealed varies irregularly with the slope,while it decreases as the slope increases in tunnels with the upper portal sealed.Subsequently,the smoke mass flow rate and induced velocity at the tunnel portal are analyzed in detail.Drawing on the obtained data,the flame length prediction models for impinging flames and non-impinging flames under different sealing conditions are developed,along with dimensionless models for smoke mass flow rate and induced wind velocity.These findings provide a theoretical foundation for the formulation of fire rescue strategies and emergency evacuation plans in inclined tunnels with one portal sealed. 展开更多

大通道内镜治疗腰椎退行性疾病小关节过度切除的危险因素分析

目的分析大通道脊柱内镜下经椎板间入路治疗腰椎退行性疾病小关节过度切除的危险因素及其对临床疗效的影响。方法回顾性分析2022年6月—2024年6月收治且符合选择标准的212例行大通道脊柱内镜治疗的腰椎退行性疾病患者临床资料。男120例,... 目的分析大通道脊柱内镜下经椎板间入路治疗腰椎退行性疾病小关节过度切除的危险因素及其对临床疗效的影响。方法回顾性分析2022年6月—2024年6月收治且符合选择标准的212例行大通道脊柱内镜治疗的腰椎退行性疾病患者临床资料。男120例,女92例;年龄18~85岁,平均54岁。根据术后CT测量小关节切除程度,将患者分为保留组(小关节关节面保留率≥50%)和过度切除组(小关节关节面保留率<50%)。术前、术后1个月及末次随访时,采用腰、腿疼痛视觉模拟评分(VAS)、Oswestry功能障碍指数(ODI)及日本骨科协会(JOA)评分评价疼痛缓解和功能改善情况;末次随访时,采用改良MacNab评定标准评价疗效;随访期间观察患者腰椎不稳发生情况。对保留组和过度切除组患者的性别、年龄、身体质量指数、责任节段、手术侧别、是否过顶减压、是否侧隐窝狭窄、是否椎间盘钙化、是否腰骶移行椎、是否关节突增生及影像学指标[关节突关节角(facet joint angle,FJA)、椎板倾斜角、CT横断面上关节面内外缘之间最大宽度(d_(1))、责任节段入路侧棘突基底部与关节突关节中线的距离(d_(2))、腰椎正位X线片上责任节段椎板间隙宽度(d_(3))及高度(d4)]等变量进行单因素分析,并进一步采用logistic回归分析筛选小关节过度切除的危险因素。结果患者均顺利完成手术,切口Ⅰ期愈合,未发生血管神经损伤、感染、类脊髓高压反应等并发症。55例患者纳入过度切除组,157例纳入保留组。两组患者均获随访,随访时间12~36个月,平均23.5个月。术前两组间腰、腿痛VAS评分、ODI及JOA评分比较差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);术后1个月过度切除组腰痛VAS评分、ODI高于保留组,JOA评分低于保留组(P<0.05),其余时间点两组间上述各指标比较差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。末次随访时按改良MacNab评定标准评价疗效,两组差异无统计学意义(Z=4.270,P=0.118)。随访期间过度切除组5例发生腰椎不稳,保留组4例,比较差异无统计学意义(χ^(2)=2.831,P=0.092)。单因素分析示,两组年龄、性别、责任节段、是否侧隐窝狭窄、FJA、d_(1)、d_(2)、椎板倾斜角、d_(3)比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);进一步行logistic回归分析示,女性、侧隐窝狭窄、FJA(≤45°)、d_(2)(≤11 mm)、d_(3)(≤21 mm)是小关节过度切除的危险因素(P<0.05)。结论大通道内镜治疗腰椎退行性疾病小关节过度切除发生率达25.94%(55/212),小关节过度切除影响患者术后早期腰痛及腰背功能恢复;小关节过度切除与女性患者、侧隐窝狭窄和FJA(≤45°)、d_(2)(≤11 mm)、d_(3)(≤21 mm)有关,临床中需关注这些因素,以减少小关节突过度切除的发生。 展开更多

一款含0.075%西吡氯铵漱口水抗口臭效果的随机对照研究

目的评价一款含0.075%西吡氯铵漱口水抗口臭效果的临床功效。方法本研究采用随机、双盲、平行对照设计,筛选94例口臭受试者,随机分组为试验组(含有0.075%西吡氯铵的DARLIE好来漱口水,n=47)和安慰剂对照组(不含有西吡氯铵的漱口水,n=47)... 目的评价一款含0.075%西吡氯铵漱口水抗口臭效果的临床功效。方法本研究采用随机、双盲、平行对照设计,筛选94例口臭受试者,随机分组为试验组(含有0.075%西吡氯铵的DARLIE好来漱口水,n=47)和安慰剂对照组(不含有西吡氯铵的漱口水,n=47)。整个试验周期内,2组受试者试验周期内均使用统一分配的市售普通含氟牙膏早晚刷牙,刷牙后按要求使用指定漱口水漱口30 s,持续使用4周。访视时间分别为基线、2周和4周,使用Halimeter plus口气检测仪测试各个时间点时受试者晨间口气的挥发性硫化物VSC值,并与基线相比,使用漱口水2周和4周后受试者的VSC值变化情况,以及对比两组受试者在2周和4周时的VSC值差异情况,整个试验周期内跟踪受试者不良反应的发生情况。结果使用漱口水2周和4周后,试验组VSC值均明显低于基线(P<0.05),对照组VSC值虽有降低,但和基线相比,没有统计学差异(P>0.05)。使用4周时,与对照组相比,试验组的VSC值降低更多,并具有统计学差异(P<0.05)。研究期间未出现与研究相关的不良反应。结论持续4周使用含西吡氯铵的漱口水能有效降低口臭患者的口气值。 展开更多

目的探究T-SPOT.TB联合流式细胞术检测CD161对糖尿病并发菌阴肺结核患者的诊断价值。方法本研究采用回顾性联合前瞻性研究设计,选取2011年1月-2023年12月在我院就诊的菌阴肺结核患者为研究对象,综合回顾性30例与前瞻性76例符合标准的样... 目的探究T-SPOT.TB联合流式细胞术检测CD161对糖尿病并发菌阴肺结核患者的诊断价值。方法本研究采用回顾性联合前瞻性研究设计,选取2011年1月-2023年12月在我院就诊的菌阴肺结核患者为研究对象,综合回顾性30例与前瞻性76例符合标准的样本,最终按是否合并糖尿病分为观察组(糖尿病合并菌阴肺结核,53例)和对照组(单纯菌阴肺结核,53例)。所有患者均行T-SPOT.TB检测及流式细胞术CD161检测,采用联合检测方案(任一指标阳性即判定为阳性),比较两组单一指标及联合检测的阳性率,分析各项检测的诊断效能。结果观察组T-SPOT.TB检测阳性率84.91%(45/53),CD161阳性率52.83%(28/53),对照组分别为94.34%(50/53)和71.70%(38/53)。经统计学检验之后,发现两组人群T-SPOT.TB阳性率没有明显差异(P>0.05),但是CD161阳性率存在显著差异(P<0.05),观察组联合检测阳性率高达96.23%(51/53),显著高于单一检测。结论糖尿病会通过减少结核病免疫应答过程中CD161分子的表达量来影响其功能,将T-SPOT.TB检测与CD161标志物检测相结合,可以明显提高糖尿病合并隐匿性肺结核患者的诊断准确性,具有较高的临床应用价值。 展开更多

地震灾害对人类生命财产安全构成了严重的威胁。但目前由于观测记录较短,难以准确揭示地震发生的规律。古地震研究主要根据地震活动在不同地质档案中留下的记录来重建区域地震活动历史,并以此来探索地震的孕发机制与重现期。洞穴次生碳... 地震灾害对人类生命财产安全构成了严重的威胁。但目前由于观测记录较短,难以准确揭示地震发生的规律。古地震研究主要根据地震活动在不同地质档案中留下的记录来重建区域地震活动历史,并以此来探索地震的孕发机制与重现期。洞穴次生碳酸盐连续性好、时间跨度大、分布广泛且可以使用精确的U系测年方法,能够记录地震造成的渗流路径改变、洞穴和石笋形态扭曲、破坏等信息,可以弥补其他载体在古地震研究中的信息缺失。文章从洞穴内地震证据的识别原理、方法和限制因素等角度,对洞穴次生碳酸盐在古地震研究方面的应用进行了综述,发现石笋生长轴的偏折、石笋倒塌再生以及洞穴内鹅管和流石等其他沉积物的破坏是重建古地震的有效手段,但难点在于如何区分洞穴次生碳酸盐破坏的原因。因此,建议未来洞穴古地震研究应与多种地质档案相互补充和验证,明确沉积物破坏机制,在地震多发区域集中进行精细化研究。 展开更多

为了探究E玻璃纤维纺丝用冷却片的几何形状对E玻璃纤维纺丝成形区冷却效果的影响,构建了一种G75型E玻璃纤维纺丝成形漏板—冷却片简化模型,通过固体和湍流共轭传热以及表面对表面辐射传热多物理场耦合,模拟冷却片对E玻璃纤维纺丝成形区... 为了探究E玻璃纤维纺丝用冷却片的几何形状对E玻璃纤维纺丝成形区冷却效果的影响,构建了一种G75型E玻璃纤维纺丝成形漏板—冷却片简化模型,通过固体和湍流共轭传热以及表面对表面辐射传热多物理场耦合,模拟冷却片对E玻璃纤维纺丝成形区的冷却效果。通过红外热像仪测量温度数据并以此验证模型,数值模拟的结果表明:(1)该简化模型符合实际,温度结果误差在4%以内,进行冷却片的几何优化模拟具有可行性;(2)向下延伸冷却片的方式对空间温度有明显的冷却效果,且冷却效果几乎不受向下延伸的距离影响;(3)在保证工业界的应用性前提下,SIMP型拓扑优化的冷却片冷却效果最好,不仅有利于稳定生产,还能降本增效。 展开更多

Significant increase of specific target olefin selectivity in CO_(2)hydrogenation is not only scientifically interesting but also practically valuable because of the reduction of separation cost.Here,a new composite catalyst is fabricated with surface oxygen vacancy-abundant ZnZrO_(x)(H)solid solution and ultra-small H-SAPO-34(US)molecular sieve crystals.This catalyst shows a propene selectivity in hydrocarbons of 51.2%that accounts for about 63%of light olefins,along with a CO_(2)conversion of 13.5%,at 350°C and 3.0 MPa.A combination of in situ spectroscopy,isotope-labelled experiments,DFT calculations,and AIMD simulations reveals that an increase of surface oxygen vacancies in ZnZrO_(x)(H)induces formation of a coordinatively unsaturated(Zr-O)_(n)-Zn-(Ov)_(m)configuration,which elevates Zn site electron density and enhances the electronic interaction of Zn-3d and H-1s orbitals.This promotes the H_(2)dissociation and facilitates methanol intermediate formation.The ultra-small H-SAPO-34(US)crystals with a size of 100–200 nm effectively suppresses alkenes hydrogenation and subsequent aromatization in the methanol conversion process.As a result,more propene was produced. 展开更多

Integrated sensing and communication(ISAC)is an appealing approach to address spectrum congestion and beamforming is an effective method to realize ISAC.In this paper,we investigate the beamforming design problem for multiple-input multipleoutput(MIMO)ISAC systems and propose to maximize the radar beampattern gain of the target direction while ensuring the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR)constraints of communication users.Particularly,we discuss two cases of ISAC transmit beamforming,i.e.,Case-Ⅰand Case-Ⅱ,which do not have and do have the dedicated probing signal,respectively.For these two cases of transmit beamforming design problems,we start from the single-user scenario and provide the closed-form solutions for MIMO ISAC beamforming vectors.Then,we consider the multiuser scenario and utilize the semidefinite relaxation technique to convert the beamforming design problems into convex semidefinite programming problems.Furthermore,we investigate the impact of the channel correlation between radar and communication on the performance gain of MIMO ISAC systems and characterize the performance tradeoff.Numerical results validate that the dedicated probing signal is unnecessary in the single-user scenario,whereas it has a slight improvement in target detection performance at low SINR thresholds in the multi-user scenario.It is also shown that the stronger the correlation between radar and communication channels,the greater the performance gain of the system. 展开更多

Mesozoic and Cenozoic paleogeography reconstruction of the western Jianghan Basin(Central China):Revealed by apatite fission track dating

The Jianghan Basin is situated within the northern part of the South China Block,adjacent to the suture zone between the South China Block and North China Craton,a strategic position to investigate syn-and post-tectonic processes during continental accretion.However,the precise timing of coeval evolution between the Jianghan Basin and the surrounding orogenic belts remains contentious.Similarly,the exact timing of the Yangtze River's incursion into the Jianghan Basin,which represents a major tipping point in the regional geomorphology,is poorly constrained.We selected nine clastic samples from the Cretaceous and Paleogene strata of the Zhijiang Depression(western Jianghan Basin)to perform detrital apatite fission track thermochronology to investigate sediment provenance and thermal history of the basin.A comparison of the decomposed apatite fission track ages with the depositional ages of the corresponding sedimentary strata and published regional research suggests Jurassic(178-160 Ma)to early Cretaceous(143-96 Ma)exhumation events in the Jiangnan orogenic belt,associated with compressional deformation of the South China Block,induced by the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate.Additionally,several late Cretaceous to Cenozoic apatite fission track peak ages(71-56,37-33,23-14,and 5-3 Ma)are younger than the depositional sedimentary ages of the corresponding strata,indicating subsequent tectono-thermal events in the Zhijiang Depression.The 71-56 Ma event is explained as an intra-plate response triggered by the late Cretaceous retreat of the Paleo-Pacific Plate.The Cenozoic events are thought to result from exhumation accompanying the eastward extrusion of the Tibetan crust.The Yangtze River,flowing from west to east,cuts through the Huangling Anticline and enters the Jianghan Basin,leading to a transition from a Paleogene drainage endorheic water system to exoreism during the Neogene. 展开更多

合并腹部损伤的重型创伤性颅脑损伤患者脑复苏失败风险预测模型构建

目的构建重型创伤性颅脑损伤(traumatic brain injury,TBI)合并腹部损伤患者的脑复苏失败风险预测模型。方法回顾性分析2021年1月至2024年12月304例重型TBI(GCS≤8分)合并腹部损伤患者的临床资料,根据患者脑复苏结果将患者分为复苏成功... 目的构建重型创伤性颅脑损伤(traumatic brain injury,TBI)合并腹部损伤患者的脑复苏失败风险预测模型。方法回顾性分析2021年1月至2024年12月304例重型TBI(GCS≤8分)合并腹部损伤患者的临床资料,根据患者脑复苏结果将患者分为复苏成功组(n=203)和复苏失败组(n=101)。收集患者性别、年龄、GCS评分(入院后1 h内采集)、延迟入院(>6 h)、体温、瞳孔大小(入院后1 h内记录)、呼吸频率、心率、收缩压、气管插管、肌酐、白细胞计数、血红蛋白、凝血异常、APACHEⅡ评分、腹部损伤类型和腹腔感染信息,使用单因素分析筛选危险因素,多因素Logistic回归构建模型,并采用ROC曲线、Hosmer-Lemeshow检验、校准曲线和决策曲线评估模型效能。结果单因素分析显示,年龄、GCS评分降低、收缩压降低、瞳孔大小(不等大、散大)、气管插管、腹部损伤类型(实质)、腹部感染、APACHEⅡ评分升高、凝血异常、白细胞计数升高、肌酐升高和延迟入院是重型TBI合并腹部损伤患者脑复苏失败的危险因素。多因素分析确定独立危险因素为GCS评分降低、腹部感染、APACHEⅡ评分升高、收缩压每降低10 mm Hg、凝血异常、延迟入院(>6 h)。构建的预测模型方程为Logit(P)=-5.8+1.55“GCS评分降低值(8-GCS评分)”+13.4“腹部感染”+0.26“APACHEⅡ评分”+6.2“收缩压降低10 mm Hg的次数”+10.9“凝血异常”+7.6“延迟入院(>6 h)”。模型AUC为0.850(95%CI 0.828~0.889),敏感度83.6%,特异度75.3%,拟合优度良好(P=0.680)。结论本研究基于入院早期核心指标构建的预测模型,聚焦早期风险识别,为临床及时干预、改善合并腹部损伤的重型TBI患者预后提供了可靠工具,避免了动态监测的复杂性和滞后性。 展开更多

目的探究妊娠期糖尿病(gestational diabetes mellitus,GDM)患者产后安全感现状及影响因素。方法采用方便抽样法选取2025年1—5月在福安市医院妇产科分娩的GDM患者及其配偶86例作为研究对象。应用一般资料调查表、产后父母安全感量表(Pa... 目的探究妊娠期糖尿病(gestational diabetes mellitus,GDM)患者产后安全感现状及影响因素。方法采用方便抽样法选取2025年1—5月在福安市医院妇产科分娩的GDM患者及其配偶86例作为研究对象。应用一般资料调查表、产后父母安全感量表(Parents'Postnatal Sense of Security,PPSS)、领悟社会支持量表(Perceived Social Support Scale,PSSS)对其进行调查,采用Pearson相关进行GDM患者产后安全感与父亲产后安全感、PSSS的相关性分析,采用多元线性回归进行GDM患者产后安全感的多因素分析。结果回收80份有效问卷,GDM患者PPSS总分为(41.58±3.06)分,条目均分为(2.31±0.17)分。单因素分析结果显示,不同年龄、受教育程度、产后血糖控制情况及新生儿早产情况、新生儿畸形、新生儿血糖的GDM患者PPSS得分比较,差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。Pearson相关性分析显示,GDM患者产后安全感与父亲产后安全感、PSSS总分均呈正相关(P均<0.05)。多元线性回归分析结果显示,产后血糖控制情况、父亲产后安全感、PSSS总分是GDM患者产后安全感的影响因素(P均<0.05)。结论GDM患者产后安全感水平有待提高,产后血糖控制情况、父亲产后安全感、领悟社会支持是其影响因素。 展开更多

持续优化并完善农村金融服务供给,对加快建设农业强国、实现乡村全面振兴具有积极的现实意义。为分析和验证农村金融服务供给对滇东北地区农户采纳农机社会化服务的影响,对宣威市403个农户家庭开展入户调查,并构建Logit模型进行实证分... 持续优化并完善农村金融服务供给,对加快建设农业强国、实现乡村全面振兴具有积极的现实意义。为分析和验证农村金融服务供给对滇东北地区农户采纳农机社会化服务的影响,对宣威市403个农户家庭开展入户调查,并构建Logit模型进行实证分析。结果表明,农村金融服务供给水平提升对农户采纳农机社会化服务具有显著的促进作用,农村金融服务供给水平每提高1个单位,农户对农机社会化服务的采纳概率会相应增加0.059。同时发现,在农村劳动力外出务工较为普遍的情况下,家庭在营土地规模、土地集中度、粮油作物种植、医疗保障对其农机社会化服务采纳均具有正向促进作用,而户主年龄、家庭与县城距离则产生抑制效应。基于此,从优化金融网点布局、改善基层金融服务效率和增强农民金融素养3个层面提出相应的对策建议,力求为提高宣威市农村金融服务供给水平提供更多的实践论据。 展开更多

AIM: To compare apelin-13, a ligand of G-proteincoupled receptor which has been shown to be involved in retinal angiogenesis, and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) serum levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) with or without retinopathy, and to investigate the relationship between the serum concentration of apelin-13 and diabetes retinopathy.METHODS: Sixty-nine patients with T2 DM were enrolled.Of the 69 patients, 16 had proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR group), 23 had non-PDR(NPDR group)and 30 had no retinopathy(T2DM group). Subjects’ information, including demographics, medical history,and use of medications were recorded. Their serum samples were collected for measuring the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP), serum lipid and glycosylated hemoglobin. Apelin-13 and VEGF serum levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Kruskal-Wallis test and one-way ANOVA were used to compare the differences among these groups. Chi-square test was used to assess categorical variables.Correlations between variables were investigated by Spearman rho correlation test and stepwise regression analysis. All statistical analyses were performed through SPSS 17.0 software.RESULTS: Sex, age, body mass index(BMI), blood pressure, CRP, hemoglobin A1c(Hb A1c) have no significantly difference in the three groups. Serum level of apelin-13 was significantly elevated in PDR group as compared with T2 DM group(P =0.041). Differences of VEGF serum concentration in the three groups were statistically significant(P =0.007, P =0.007 and P 【0.001,respectively). Spearman rho correlation test showed that serum apelin-13 was positively correlated with BMI,serum triglycerides, VEGF, but not with age, duration of diabetes, blood pressure, CRP, Hb A1 c and total-cholesterol. Stepwise regression analysis showed that BMI also significantly associated with serum apelin-13(P =0.002), while VEGF and serum triglycerides were irrelevant. CONCLUSION: This study elucidated a positive association of apelin-13 serum level with PDR, but not with VEGF. Apelin-13 may influence the promotion of PDR but unrelated with VEGF. 展开更多

Multi-wall carbon nanotubes reinforced Mg-14Li-1Al composite(MWCNTs/Mg-14Li-1Al) was prepared by the processes of electrophoretic deposition, friction stir processing, and cold rolling. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the composite were investigated. The results show that, the microhardness of the composite is up to HV 84.4, which is 91.38% higher than that of the as-cast matrix alloy(HV 44.1). The yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the composite are 259 and 313 MPa, which are 135.45% and 115.86% higher than those of the as-cast matrix alloy, respectively, and a high specific strength of 221.98 k N·m/kg is obtained. In the composite, the MWCNTs serve as nucleation particles during the friction stir processing and cold rolling, causing dynamic recrystallization and grain refinement. Furthermore, MWCNTs hinder the movement of dislocations and transfer the load from the matrix alloy, thus improving the strength. 展开更多

Plate subduction leads to complex exhumation processes on continents.The Huangling Massif lies at the northern margin of the South China Block.Whether the Huangling Massif was exhumed as a watershed of the middle reaches of the Paleo-Yangtze River during the Mesozoic remains under debate.We examined the exhumation history of the Huangling Massif based on six granite bedrock samples,using apatite fission track(AFT)and apatite and zircon(U-Th)/He(AHe and ZHe)thermochronology.These samples yielded ages of 157–132 Ma(ZHe),119–106 Ma(AFT),and 114–72 Ma(AHe),respectively.Thermal modeling revealed that three phases of rapid cooling occurred during the Late Jurassic–Early Cretaceous,late Early Cretaceous,and Late Cretaceous.These exhumation processes led to the high topographic relief responsible for the emergence of the Huangling Massif.The integrated of our new data with published sedimentological records suggests that the Huangling Massif might have been the watershed of the middle reaches of the Paleo-Yangtze River since the Cretaceous.At that time,the rivers flowed westward into the Sichuan Basin and eastward into the Jianghan Basin.The subduction of the Pacific Plate beneath the Asian continent in the Mesozoic deeply influenced the geomorphic evolution of the South China Block. 展开更多

Mitochondrial dysfunction has been widely reported in schizophrenia patients. To dissect the matrilineal structure of Han Chinese with or without schizophrenia and to decipher the maternal influence and evolutionary history of schizophrenia, a total of 1212 schizophrenia patients and 1005 matched healthy controls, all of Han Chinese origin, were recruited in Hunan Province, China. We classified haplogroup for each individual based on mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) sequence variations and compared the haplogroup distribution pattern between cases and controls. Haplogroup B5a presented a higher frequency in cases than in controls (P = 0.02, OR = 1.67, 95% CI = [1.09, 2.56]), and this result could be confirmed by permutation analysis. Age estimation of haplogroup B5a in cases revealed a much younger age than that of controls, which was coincident with the Northern Hemisphere deglaciation at the end of the Last Glacial Maximum. Analysis of complete mtDNA in five patients belonging to haplogroup B5a showed that this background effect might be caused by haplogroup- defining variants m.8584G〉A and m.10398A〉G. Our results showed that matrilineal risk factor for schizophrenia had an ancient origin and might acquire a predisposing effect on schizophrenia due to the environment change and/or orchestration with other nuclear genetic factors appeared recently in human evolutionary history. 展开更多

Objective To determine the possible association of anti-β1-adrenergic receptors(anti-β1-AR), anti-β2-AR and anti-α1-AR with carvedilol treatment in patients with heart failure(HF). Methods A total of 267 HF patients were prospectively enrolled. Blood samples were measured by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. All of the patients received carvedilol for their HF. Each patient was followed up for six months and their cardiac function was measured. Results The final analysis encompassed 137 patients comprising 65 patients with three autoantibodies(positive group) and 72 patients without all three autoantibodies but with one or two autoantibodies(negative group). The frequency and geometric mean titer of anti-β1-AR, anti-β2-AR, and anti-α1-AR were significantly lower in the group without all three autoantibodies after six months of carvedilol treatment(all P < 0.01;from 100% to 57%, 50%, and 49%, respectively;and from 1: 118, 1: 138, and 1: 130 to 1: 72, 1: 61, and 1: 67, respectively). Furthermore, 28 patients in the positive group demonstrated complete ablation of autoantibodies. In addition, left ventricular remodelling and function was significantly improved by the use of carvedilol combined with the standard treatment regime for six months in the positive group(P < 0.01) when compared to the negative group(P < 0.05). Conclusions Carvedilol treatment significantly decreases frequency and geometric mean titer in patients with all three autoantibodies, even up to complete ablation, and significantly improved cardiac function and remodelling. The effect of carvedilol is probably correlated to the presence of all three autoantibodies. 展开更多
