The aim of this study was to find out the normal value of psychometric test and to investigate the prevalence of SHE in Chinese patients with stabilized hepatic cirrhosis.METHODS: Four hundred and nine consecutive cirrhotic patients without overt clinical encephalopathy were screened for SHE by using number connection test part A (NCT-A) and symbol digit test (SDT). SHE was defined as presence of at least one abnormal psychometric test. The age-corrected normal values were defined as the mean±2times standard deviation (2SD), and developed in 356 healthypersons as normal controls. Four hundred and sixteen patients with chronic viral hepatitis were tested as negative controls to assess the diagnostic validity of this test battery.RESULTS: There was no significant difference in NCT scores and SDT quotients between healthy controls and chronic hepatitis group (P>0.05). In all age subgroups,the NCT and SDT measurements of cirrhotic patients differed significantly from those of the controls (P<0.05).When mean±2SD of SDT and NCT measurements from healthy control group was set as the normal range, 119 cirrhotic patients (29.1%) were found to have abnormal NCT-A and SDT tests, 53 (13.0%) were abnormal only in SDT and 36 (8.8%) only in NCT-A. Taken together, SHE was diagnosed in 208 (50.9%) cirrhotic patients by this test battery. The prevalence of SHE increased from 39.9% and 55.2% in Child-Pugh's grade A and B groups to 71.8% in Child-Pugh's grade C group (P<0.05). After the adjustment of age and residential areas required from the tests, no correlation was found in the rate of SHE and causes of cirrhosis, education level and smoking habit.CONCLUSION: Psychometric tests are simple and reliable indicators for screening SHE among Chinese cirrhotic patients. By using a NCT and SDT battery, SHE could be found in 50.9% of cirrhotic patients without overt clinical encephalopathy. The prevalence of SHE is significantly correlated with the severity of liver functions.展开更多

The results show that...The effects of a PSP producing dinoflagellate Alexandrium tamarense on marine bivalvesat their several important life stages: egg, D- shape larva, eyespot larva, juvenile and adult, were studied. The results show that the hatching, survival, activity, filtration and growth were adversely affected by the alga and the impact was significantly increased with the increase of algal density. The inhibitory effect on egg hatching was most significant, which the hatching rate was only 30% of the control when exposed to the alga at 100 cell/cm3 after 36 h. Further experiments show that the algal culture, re-suspended cells and cell fragments had the inhibitory effect, while no such effect was from the cell-free medium, cell contents and standard STX. The results indicate that the alga could produce unknown toxins, rather than PSP, associated with the cell surface.展开更多

They potentially play an important role as intermediate 3- in chemical reaction of producing complicated polyphosphides. Based on the related electronic properties, a stable polyanion must have low valence electron concentration, no (μ2?P)?(μ2?P) bond and a little dispersive charge. The atmosphericsecond side-cut diesel fraction, which was supplied by Liaohe Petrochemical Company, was desulfurized by anoxidation process under microwave irradiation. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), can oxidize the sulfur compounds indiesel fuel selectively and convert them into sulfones. Based on the rule of dissolution by similar substances,these sulfones are removed from diesel fuel because they could be dissolved in solvent phase. So the sulfurcontent of diesel fuel is decreased. The influence of the concentration of oxidizing reagent, solvent phase to oilphase volume ratio (S/O), irradiation pressure, irradiation time, and the irradiation power have been investigated.The optimum conditions for the refining process was determined. The sulfur removal rate was 59.7% under theoptimum conditions of 8%H2O2, S/O=0.25, 0.05MPa, 6 min, and 375W, respectively. When no microwave irradia-tion was applied, the removal rate was 11.5% only.展开更多

Objective: to study the effect of comprehensive rehabilitation nursing of traditional Chinese medicine on the nursing of patients with acute stroke. Methods: 92 patients with acute stroke from January 2021 to January ...Objective: to study the effect of comprehensive rehabilitation nursing of traditional Chinese medicine on the nursing of patients with acute stroke. Methods: 92 patients with acute stroke from January 2021 to January 2022 were divided into observation group and control group, with an average of 46 patients. According to TCM comprehensive nursing and routine nursing intervention, the effects were compared. Results: ① before nursing, there was no significant difference in FMA score and NHISS score between the two groups (P > 0.05). After nursing, the improvement of FMA score and NHISS score in the observation group was better than that in the control group, with statistical difference (P < 0.05);② the incidence of complications in the observation group (5 cases, accounting for 10.87%) was lower than that in the control group (13 cases, accounting for 28.26%), with statistical difference (P < 0.05);③ the satisfaction of the observation group (41 cases, accounting for 89.13%) was higher than that of the control group (33 cases, accounting for 71.74%), with statistical difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion: comprehensive rehabilitation nursing of traditional Chinese medicine can promote the rehabilitation of patients with acute stroke, reduce the complications of the body and improve the satisfaction, which is worthy of recommendation.展开更多

Methods: the study was started with 100 parturients who underwent B-ultrasound ...Objective: to further study and explore the practical clinical significance of prenatal diagnosis of fetal abnormalities by B-ultrasound. Methods: the study was started with 100 parturients who underwent B-ultrasound prenatal examination in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 as the main experimental target. 50 pregnant women who underwent postpartum B-ultrasound examination were taken as the control group and 50 pregnant women who underwent prenatal B-ultrasound examination were taken as the experimental group. Comparing the abnormal rate of fetus, delivery outcome (natural delivery rate, abortion rate, macrosomia rate, stillbirth rate) and overall satisfaction results of the two groups of pregnant women after delivery to judge the practical significance of prenatal B-ultrasound examination;Results: in the control group, the spontaneous delivery rate, abortion rate, macrosomia rate, stillbirth rate and abnormal delivery rate were 82.0%, 6.0%, 8.0%, 4.0% and 12.0% respectively. Among them, 1 case of limb malformation, 2 cases of polycystic kidney, 2 cases of hydrocephalus, 1 case of spina bifida, the overall satisfaction rate reached 90.0 ℅. In the experimental group, the natural delivery rate, abortion rate, macrosomia rate, stillbirth rate and abnormal delivery rate of pregnant women reached 94.0℅, 2.0℅, 4.0℅, 0.0℅ and 4.0℅ respectively. Among them, 0 cases of limb malformation, 1 case of polycystic kidney, 1 case of hydrocephalus, 0 cases of spina bifida, the overall satisfaction rate reached 96.0℅;Conclusion: the implementation of B-ultrasound prenatal examination has a significant positive effect on pregnant women's delivery outcome, fetal abnormality rate and overall satisfaction. We should gradually expand the field of B-ultrasound prenatal examination, and constantly improve the means of B-ultrasound prenatal examination. It plays an important role in improving the overall satisfaction of pregnant women and the delivery outcome, and reducing the abnormal rate of fetus.
