Objective: to apply and evaluate the practical application value of xpertMTB/RIF detection technology in the diagnosis of related diseases and follow-up treatment, and to evaluate the reliability of the diagnosis of t...Objective: to apply and evaluate the practical application value of xpertMTB/RIF detection technology in the diagnosis of related diseases and follow-up treatment, and to evaluate the reliability of the diagnosis of tuberculosis and the safety of the follow-up use of rifampicin in primary units. Methods: xpertMTB/RIF test was performed on smear-positive tuberculosis patients in Qionghai city, Hainan Province from 2015 to 2019. Sputum culture was performed on rifampicin-resistant patients and negative patients at the same time, and the sputum was sent to the provincial reference laboratory for drug sensitivity test and strain identification. From 2015 to 2019, sputum and other body fluids samples of suspected tuberculosis patients at the outpatient clinic of Qionghai City, Hainan province. Results: according to the traditional drug sensitivity test and strain identification as the gold standard, a total of 48 tuberculosis patients were detected from 60 smear-negative sputum specimens of children and 66 other body fluids of children and adults. XpertMTB /RIF detected drug resistance and negative sputum samples in 65 samples. Through strain identification, the traditional drug sensitivity test showed rifampicin resistance in 43 cases, multidrug resistance in 4 cases, and non-tuberculosis mycobacterium (NTM) in 16 cases. XpertMTB /RIF has higher sensitivity to mycobacterium tuberculosis than smear microscopy and Rifampicin resistance to xpertMTB/RIF. Conclusion: xpertMTB/RIF test just need a simple operation can be very precise inspection data as a result, further analysis can even get to rifampin resistance in patients with specific conditions, for detection of mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) is the sensitivity of the ideal, can be used for tuberculosis at the grass-roots level in our country fixed-point hospital.展开更多
