Traffic flow prediction constitutes a fundamental component of Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS),playing a pivotal role in mitigating congestion,enhancing route optimization,and improving the utilization efficie...Traffic flow prediction constitutes a fundamental component of Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS),playing a pivotal role in mitigating congestion,enhancing route optimization,and improving the utilization efficiency of roadway infrastructure.However,existingmethods struggle in complex traffic scenarios due to static spatio-temporal embedding,restricted multi-scale temporal modeling,and weak representation of local spatial interactions.This study proposes Bi-STAT+,an enhanced bidirectional spatio-temporal attention framework to address existing limitations through three principal contributions:(1)an adaptive spatio-temporal embedding module that dynamically adjusts embeddings to capture complex traffic variations;(2)frequency-domain analysis in the temporal dimension for simultaneous high-frequency details and low-frequency trend extraction;and(3)an agent attention mechanism in the spatial dimension that enhances local feature extraction through dynamic weight allocation.Extensive experiments were performed on four distinct datasets,including two publicly benchmark datasets(PEMS04 and PEMS08)and two private datasets collected from Baotou and Chengdu,China.The results demonstrate that Bi-STAT+consistently outperforms existing methods in terms of MAE,RMSE,and MAPE,while maintaining strong robustness against missing data and noise.Furthermore,the results highlight that prediction accuracy improves significantly with higher sampling rates,providing crucial insights for optimizing real-world deployment scenarios.展开更多

We investigated the expression of potassium channel encoding genes in the ventricles of rabbit established by volumeoverload operation followed with pressure-overload. The reversible effect of these changes with bisoprolol was also evaluated. The HF group exhibited left ventricular enlargement, systolic dysfunction, prolongation of corrected QT interval (QTc), and increased plasma brain natriuretic peptide levels in the HF rabbits. Several potassium channel subunit encoding genes were consistently down-regulated in the HF rabbits. After bisoprolol treatment, heart function was improved significantly and QTc was shortened. Additionally, the mRNA expression of potassium channel subunit genes could be partially reversed. The down-regulated expression of potassium channel subunits Kv4.3, Kv1.4, KvLQT1, minK and Kir 2.1 may contribute to the prolongation of action potential duration in the heart of rabbits induced by volume combined with pressure overload HF. Positioning technology based on wireless network signals in indoor environments has developed rapidly in recent years as the demand for locationbased services continues to increase.Channel state information(CSI)can be...Positioning technology based on wireless network signals in indoor environments has developed rapidly in recent years as the demand for locationbased services continues to increase.Channel state information(CSI)can be used as location feature information in fingerprint-based positioning systems because it can reflect the characteristics of the signal on multiple subcarriers.However,the random noise contained in the raw CSI information increases the likelihood of confusion when matching fingerprint data.In this paper,the Dynamic Fusion Feature(DFF)is proposed as a new fingerprint formation method to remove the noise and improve the feature resolution of the system,which combines the pre-processed amplitude and phase data.Then,the improved edit distance on real sequence(IEDR)is used as a similarity metric for fingerprint matching.Based on the above studies,we propose a new indoor fingerprint positioning method,named DFF-EDR,for improving positioning performance.During the experimental stage,data were collected and analyzed in two typical indoor environments.The results show that the proposed localization method in this paper effectively improves the feature resolution of the system in terms of both fingerprint features and similarity measures,has good anti-noise capability,and effectively reduces the localization errors.展开更多

By means of static and dynamic finite element method (FEM), the stability of a wasteland during earthquakes is analyzed. It is demonstrated that the positions of the most dangerous sliding surfaces during earthquakes are fairly stable. Based on the above findings, this paper developed the New-mark method by increasing the precision to reckon the permanent deformation of wastelands during earthquakes. The method presented in the paper is not only of great importance to instruct the anti-seismic design of wasteland, but also valuable to the design of ordinary dams and embankments.展开更多

BACKGROUND Resilience is an individual’s ability and psychological rebound capacity to adapt well after experiencing adversity,trauma,etc.Patients with strong resilience can face illnesses actively.AIM To determine t...BACKGROUND Resilience is an individual’s ability and psychological rebound capacity to adapt well after experiencing adversity,trauma,etc.Patients with strong resilience can face illnesses actively.AIM To determine the association of resilience with coping styles and quality of life in patients with malignancies.METHODS This study included patients with malignant tumors who were hospitalized at Fuyang Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University from March 2022 to March 2024.The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale,Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire,Social Support Rating Scale,and the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire Core 30 were utilized to assess patients’resilience,coping styles,social support,and quality of life,respectively.Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to assess the correlations.RESULTS A total of 175 patients with malignant tumors demonstrated no marked difference in terms of age,education level,employment status,monthly household income,and disease staging(P<0.05).Further,patients with malignancies demonstrated scores of 17.49±1.20,17.27±1.46,and 11.19±1.29 points in terms of coping styles in confrontation,avoidance,and resignation dimensions,respectively.Subjective support,objective support,and support utilization scores in terms of social support were 10.67±1.80,11.26±2.08,and 9.24±1.14 points,respectively.The total resilience score and tenacity,self-improvement,and optimism dimension scores were positively correlatedwith the confrontation coping style score,whereas the total resilience score and tenacity and self-improvementscores were negatively associated with avoidance and resignation coping style scores(P<0.05).The total resiliencescore and the tenacity dimension score were positively associated with physical,role,cognitive,emotional,andsocial functions,as well as global health status(P<0.05),and were inversely related to fatigue,insomnia,andeconomic difficulties(P<0.05).CONCLUSIONThe resilience of patients with malignancies is positively associated with the confrontation dimension in the copingstyle,the total and various social support domain scores,and the overall quality of life.Clinical medical staff needto pay attention to the effect of medical coping styles and social support on the resilience level of patients withmalignancies to further improve their quality of life.展开更多
