The scaled boundary finite element method is a semi-analytical technique, which weakens the governing differential equations along the circumferential direction and solves those analytically in the radial direction. In this method, only the boundary is discretized in the finite element sense leading to a re- duction of the spatial dimension by one with no fundamental solution required. Neverthe- less, in case of the complex geometry, a huge number of elements are generally required to properly approximate the exact shape of the domain and distorted meshes are often un- avoidable in the conventional finite element approach, which leads to huge computational efforts and loss of accuracy. NURBS are the most popular mathematical tool in CAD industry due to its flexibility to fit any free-form shape. In the proposed methodology, the arbitrary curved boundary of problem domain is exactly represented with NURBS basis functions, while the straight part of the boundary is discretized by the conventional Lagrange shape functions. Both the concepts of isogeometric analysis and scaled boundary finite element method are combined to form the governing equations of transient heat conduction analy- sis and the solution is obtained using the modified precise integration method. The stiffness matrix is obtained from a standard quadratic eigenvalue problem and the mass matrix is determined from the low-frequency expansion. Finally the governing equations become a system of first-order ordinary differential equations and the time domain response is solved numerically by the modified precise integration method. The accuracy and stability of the proposed method to deal with the transient heat conduction problems are demonstrated by numerical examples.展开更多

文摘Micro-silicon(Si)anode that features high theoretical capacity and fine tap density is ideal for energy-dense lithiumion batteries. However, the substantial localized mechanical strain caused by the large volume expansion often results in electrode disintegration and capacity loss.Herein,a microporous Si anode with the SiO_(x)/C layer functionalized all-surface and high tap density(~0.65 g cm^(-3))is developed by the hydrolysis-driven strategy that avoids the common use of corrosive etchants and toxic siloxane reagents. The functionalized inner pore with superior structural stability can effectively alleviate the volume change and enhance the electrolyte contact.Simultaneously, the outer particle surface forms a continuous network that prevents electrolyte parasitic decomposition, disperses the interface stress of Si matrix and facilitates electron/ion transport. As a result, the micron-sized Si anode shows only~9.94 GPa average stress at full lithiation state and delivers an impressive capacity of 901.1 mAh g^(-1)after 500 cycles at 1 A g^(-1).It also performs excellent rate performance of 1123.0 mAh g^(-1)at 5 A g^(-1)and 850.4 at 8 A g^(-1),far exceeding most of reported literatures.Furthermore, when paired with a commercial LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2),the pouch cell demonstrates high capacity and desirable cyclic performance.

文摘BACKGROUND Red blood cell distribution width(RDW)is associated with the development and progression of various diseases.AIM To explore the association between pretreatment RDW and short-term outcomes after laparoscopic pancreatoduodenectomy(LPD).METHODS A total of 804 consecutive patients who underwent LPD at our hospital between March 2017 and November 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.Correlations between pretreatment RDW and clinicopathological characteristics and short-term outcomes were investigated.RESULTS Patients with higher pretreatment RDW were older, had higher Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group scores and were associated with poorer short-term outcomes than those with normal RDW.High pretreatment RDW was an independent risk factor for postoperative complications(POCs)(hazard ratio=2.973,95%confidence interval:2.032-4.350,P<0.001)and severe POCs of grade IIIa or higher(hazard ratio=3.138,95%confidence interval:2.042-4.824,P<0.001)based on the Clavien-Dino classification system.Subgroup analysis showed that high pretreatment RDW was an independent risk factor for Clavien-Dino classi-fication grade IIIb or higher POCs,a comprehensive complication index score≥26.2,severe postoperative pancreatic fistula, severe bile leakage and severe hemorrhage.High pretreatment RDW was positively associated with the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio and was negatively associated with albumin and the prognostic nutritional index.CONCLUSION Pretreatment RDW was a special parameter for patients who underwent LPD.It was associated with malnutrition, severe inflammatory status and poorer short-term outcomes.RDW could be a surrogate marker for nutritional and inflammatory status in identifying patients who were at high risk of developing POCs after LPD.

文摘The sodium-iodine(Na-I)battery exhibits significant potential as an alternative energy storage device to the lithium-ion battery. However, its development is hindered by inadequate electrical and thermal stability,as well as the dissolution and shuttling of polyiodide. In this study,we report a preparation method for melamine carbon sponge(MC)via carbonizing a commercially available kitchen sponge. It was revealed that the as-prepared MC,composed of unique self-growing carbon nanotubes, could provide both physical and chemical adsorption capabilities for intermediate polyiodides to improve the electrochemical performance of NaI.Consequently, the NaI/MC electrode effectively minimized polyiodide dissolution and reduced the electrochemical impedance. The NaI/MC cathode demonstrated a high average discharge capacity of 92.75 mAh·g^(–1)over 200 cycles while maintaining a coulombic efficiency of 94%.The research findings from our study have promising applications in Na-I batteries.

文摘The Non-uniform rational B-spline (NURBS) enhanced scaled boundary finite element method in combination with the modified precise integration method is proposed for the transient heat conduction problems in this paper. The accuracy and stability of the proposed method to deal with the transient heat conduction problems are demonstrated by numerical examples.
