文摘Fenton/Fenton-like reactions have gained popularity for their remarkable proficiency in decomposing organic pollutants, especially when enhanced by reductants addition for accel-erating the Fe2+regeneration.Nevertheless,these works predominantly centered on the formation and utilization of hydroxyl radicals(•OH)in the process, neglecting the evolution of oxidant and reductant due to the difficulty in the simultaneous determination of these two components.By employing the quenching-iodometric method,we could simultaneously determine the concentrations of HSO_(3)-and peroxydisulfate(PDS).This method first employed an excess of peroxymonosulfate(PMS)to effectively quench HSO_(3)-,and then used the iodometric spectrophotometry to simultaneously determine the concentrations of PMS and PDS in the reaction system. Finally, through precise stoichiometric relationships,we could accurately calculate the concentration of HSO_(3)-.Based on this method,we achieved concentration measurements that, upon linear fitting, yielded a correlation coefficient(R^(2))surpassing 0.99,unequivocally affirming the method’s accuracy and trustworthiness. In this work,an innovation approach for determining the concentrations of HSO_(3)-(reductant)and PDS(oxidant)was explored.Additionally, the resilience of the method was verified across different pH levels and in the presence of diverse impurity ions. The results ensured precise concentration measure-ments in the real wastewater. This method was characterized by its simplicity, rapid analysis, and environmental friendliness, offering a newanalytical strategy for the determination of PDS and HSO_(3)-in environmental samples. The method enables more meticulous monitoring of chemical usage in water treatment, facilitating optimized dosing strategies and assessments of reductant-enhanced Fenton or Fenton-like system in water purification.

文摘The timings and geodynamic controls of Mo,Au,and Au-Mo deposits in the Xiaoqinling Orogen(>630 t Au and 115,000 t Mo),a rare Au-Mo province globally, are addressed by a combination of mineral par-ageneses,crystalline mineralogy, geochemistry, and Re-Os and U-Pb geochronology in the Dahu,Qinnan, and Yangzhaiyu deposits. The Xiaoqinling Orogen comprises an E-W-trending fold and thrust system with repeated structural reactivation and the Mo or Au orebodies in these deposits are dominantly controlled by E-W-trending and NW-SE-trending shear zones.Molybdenum mineralization related to K-feldspar alteration comprises early molybdenite, pyrite, rutile, and monazite within gray quartz veins plus late molybdenite and pyrite within white quartz veins in the Dahu and Qinnan Au-Mo deposits.Early and late Au mineralization events have similar mineral assemblages of pyrite, native gold±Au-Ag-Te minerals, rutile, and monazite associated with quartz-sericite alteration at Yangzhaiyu. The early dissem-inated molybdenite is characterized by rhombohedral polytype and oscillatory Re zoning,in contrast to the late molybdenite with a coexistence of rhombohedral and hexagonal polytypes and irregularly distributed Re.The early molybdenite has a Re-Os isochron age of 222.5±1.3 Ma,compatible with a monazite U-Pb age of 224±6.1 Ma,whereas late molybdenite provides a Re-Os isochron age of 185.0±12 Ma,with the implication that the 3R-polytype molybdenite with oscillatory Re zoning is more suitable for high-precision dating. The early and late Au mineralization have a pyrite Re-Os age of 202.0±5.9 Ma and U-Pb age of 124.0±1.3 Ma,respectively. In accordance with its complex geodynamic setting, geological and geochronological studies record a complicated 100-million-year mineralization history with multiple magmatic-hydrothermal Mo and orogenic Au mineralization events that formed within a structural framework of multiply reactivated shear zones.

文摘Three-dimensional(3 D)printing has revolutionized the design and production of customized scaffolds, but the minimally invasive implantation of 3 D-printed structures into the human body remains challenging. This has prompted the exploration of innovative materials and technical solutions.Shape-memory polymers,as advanced intelligent materials, exhibit considerable potential in minimally invasive surgical applications.Herein,we developed a novel thermosetting shape-memory polymer,poly(L-lactic acid)-trimethylene carbonate-glycolic acid(PLLA-TMC-GA),for the fabrication of bioengineered scaffolds with body temperature-activated shape-memory functionality. We comprehensively evaluated the mechanical properties, thermal stability,shape-memory capabilities, biocompatibility, biodegradability, and 3 D printing performance of PLLA-TMC-GA terpolymers with various compositions. The results indicate that PLLA-TMC-GA exhibits exceptional shape-memory performance, adjustable material properties, favorable biocompatibility, and the potential for controlled biodegradation and reabsorption. The use of PLLA-TMC-GA as a biodegradable shape-memory polymer allows the reduction of implant volume, simplifies implantation, and enables on-demand activation at body temperature. These characteristics present new opportunities for the advancement of minimally invasive surgical techniques.

文摘Objective:Osimertinib(OSI)therapy,a cornerstone in treating non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),has been severely limited by rapidly developing acquired resistance.Inhibition of bypass activation using a combination strategy holds promise in overcoming this resistance.Biguanides, with excellent anti-tumor effects, have recently attracted much attention for this potential. The current study investigated whether novel biguanide compounds developed by our team could overcome OSI resistance and the underlying mechanisms were explored. Methods:A comprehensive screening assay using OSI-resistant cells identified the optimal combination of biguanide compounds with OSI.Proteomics,co-immunoprecipitation mass spectrometry,RNA sequencing, and homologous recombination assays were used to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying combination therapy.NSCLC tumor tissues, especially OSI-resistant tissues, obtained from our clinic were used to assess the correlations between key proteins and OSI resistance.Results:SMK-010,a highly potent biguanide compound, effectively overcame OSI resistance in vitro and in vivo.Mechanistical studies showed that BMI1/FGFR1 pathway activation is responsible for OSI resistance.Specifically, silencing BMI1 promoted NEDD4-mediated FGFR1 ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation, whereas SMK-010 treatment induced FGFR1 lysosomal degradation. This reduction in FGFR1 levels impaired homologous recombination, increased DNA damage, and surmounted OSI resistance.Analysis of clinical samples revealed overexpression of BMI1 and FGFR1 in NSCLC tissues and represented potential biomarkers for OSI resistance. Conclusions:These findings highlight the crucial role of the BMI1/FGFR1 axis in OSI resistance and provide a rational basis for the future clinical application of the biguanide,SMK-010,in combination with OSI.
文摘It is a major challenge for the airframe-inlet design of modern combat aircrafts,as the flow and electromagnetic wave propagation in the inlet of stealth aircraft are very complex. In this study,an aerodynamic/stealth optimization design method for an S-duct inlet is proposed. The upwind scheme is introduced to the aerodynamic adjoint equation to resolve the shock wave and flow separation. The multilevel fast multipole algorithm(MLFMA)is utilized for the stealth adjoint equation.A dorsal S-duct inlet of flying wing layout is optimized to improve the aerodynamic and stealth characteristics. Both the aerodynamic and stealth characteristics of the inlet are effectively improved. Finally, the optimization results are analyzed, and it shows that the main contradiction between aerodynamic characteristics and stealth characteristics is the centerline and crosssectional area. The S-duct is smoothed, and the cross-sectional area is increased to improve the aerodynamic characteristics, while it is completely opposite for the stealth design. The radar cross section(RCS)is reduced by phase cancelation for low frequency conditions. The method is suitable for the aerodynamic/stealth design of the aircraft airframe-inlet system.

文摘Ferroptosis is a nonapoptotic form of cell death characterized by iron dependence and lipid peroxidation.Ferroptosis is involved in a range of pathological processes, such as cancer. Many studies have confirmed that ferroptosis plays an essential role in inhibiting cancer cell proliferation. In addition,a series of small-molecule compounds have been developed, including erastin,RSL3,and FIN56,which can be used as ferroptosis inducers. The combination of ferroptosis inducers with anticancer drugs can produce a significant synergistic effect in cancer treatment, and patients treated with these combinations exhibit a better prognosis than patients receiving traditional therapy. Therefore,a thorough understanding of the roles of ferroptosis in cancer is of great significance for the treatment of cancer. This review mainly elaborates the molecular biological characteristics and mechanism of ferroptosis, summarizes the function of ferroptosis in cancer development and treatment, illustrates the application of ferroptosis in patient’s prognosis prediction and drug discovery, and discusses the prospects of targeting ferroptosis.

文摘BACKGROUND Transhepatic arterial chemoembolization(TACE),as a local treatment, has been widely used in the treatment of unresectable liver cancer. The introduction of drug carrier microspheres has brought new hope for the therapeutic effect of TACE.Microspheres can realize the slow release and directional delivery of drugs, reduce systemic toxicity and improve local curative effect.AIM To compare the effectiveness of traditional transcatheter arterial chemoembolization against microsphere-assisted transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma that is incurable.METHODS We searched the PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library, and CNKI databases for clinical trials of drug-luting beads TACE(DEB-TACE)vs conventional TACE(cTACE)for the treatment of unresectable liver cancer. We screened references based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and then selected valid data for meta-analysis using RevMan 53 software. The complete response(CR)rate, partial response(PR)rate, postoperative stable disease(SD)rate, and 6-month and 12-month survival rates were compared.RESULTS A total of 12 articles were included, including 1177 patients,519 of whom received DEB-TACE and 658 of whom received cTACE.The CR rate in the DEB-TACE group was much greater than that in the cTACE group[relative risk(RR)=1.42,95%CI:1.18-1.72,P=0.0002].The 12-month survival rate significantly increased(RR=1.09;95%CI:1.01-1.17,P=0.03);the PR rate(RR=1.13;95%CI:0.97-1.30,P=0.12);the SD rate(RR=0.82;95%CI:0.64-1.05,P=0.12);and the 6-month survival rate(RR=1.05;95%CI:1.00-1.10,P=0.07).There was no significant difference(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Compared with those of iodized oil TACE,the drug-loaded microspheres tended to have therapeutic advantages.

文摘Discovery of materials using“bottom-up”or“top-down”approach is of great interest in materials science.Layered materials consisting of two-dimensional(2D)building blocks provide a good platform to explore new materials in this respect. In van der Waals(vdW)layered materials, these building blocks are charge neutral and can be isolated from their bulk phase(top-down),but usually grow on substrate. In ionic layered materials, they are charged and usually cannot exist independently but can serve as motifs to construct new materials(bottom-up).In this paper,we introduce our recently constructed databases for 2D material-substrate interface(2DMSI),and 2D charged building blocks. For 2DMSI database,we systematically build a workflow to predict appropriate substrates and their geometries at substrates, and construct the 2DMSI database. For the 2D charged building block database,1208 entries from bulk material database are identified.Information of crystal structure, valence state, source, dimension and so on is provided for each entry with a json format. We also show its application in designing and searching for new functional layered materials. The 2DMSI database, building block database, and designed layered materials are available in Science Data Bank at https://doi.org/10.57760/sciencedb.j00113.00188.
