However, high cost caused by the use of high-quality slaked lime and difficult operation due to the complex flow field are two issues which have received great attention. Accordingly, a laboratory-scale fluidized bed reactor was constructed to investigate the effects of physical properties and external conditions on desulfurization performance of slaked lime, and the conclusions were tried out in an industrial-scale CFB-FGD tower. After that, a numerical model of the tower was established based on computational particle fluid dynamics(CPFD) and two-film theory. After comparison and validation with actual operation data, the effects of operating parameters on gas-solid distribution and desulfurization characteristics were investigated. The results of experiments and industrial trials showed that the use of slaked lime with a calcium hydroxide content of approximately 80% and particle size greater than 40 μm could significantly reduce the cost of desulfurizer. Simulation results showed that the flow field in the desulfurization tower was skewed under the influence of circulating ash. We obtained optimal operating conditions of 7.5 kg·s^(-1)for the atomized water flow, 70 kg·s^(-1)for circulating ash flow, and 0.56 kg·s^(-1)for slaked lime flow, with desulfurization efficiency reaching 98.19% and the exit flue gas meeting the ultraclean emission and safety requirements. All parameters selected in the simulation were based on engineering examples and had certain application reference significance.展开更多

First, we choose the day with maximum load as the typical day for every month and simulate the system running in two cases of whether the pumped storage power station is put into operation. The difference of the total coal consumption between the two cases is the peak load shifting benefit. Furthermore, we build load model and power generation model to calculate the benefit of emergency use and frequency modulation, which are the major projects of dynamic benefits. At last, on the premise of ensuring the system requirements, the developed method employs the maximum benefit of the unit capacity as the objective function to get the best installed capacity of pumped storage power station by simulations. Tests on a provincial power grid have shown that the developed method which combines of load characteristics, electric structure and other factors can get the best installed capacity of pumped storage power station easily and has a certain guiding significance for the planning and construction of the pumped storage power station.展开更多

The protein expression levels of RECK, MMP-2 and MMP- 9 genes in these three cell lines were measured by immunocytochemical methods. The expressions of the RECK gene and protein level were measured hv RT-PCR and Westrn hints in the cell lines respectively.RESULTS The order of the nvasive capacity of the breast (cancer) cell lines was MDA-MB-435S, being the highest, and HBL-100, being the lowest. The invasive capacity difference between any two groups among the three groups was significant (P〈0.01). The protein expression level of the RECK gene in the HBL-100 cell line was highest, and no expression was detected in MDA-MB-435S cells. Moreover, the expression of the RECK gene was negatively correlated with the expression of the MMP-2 and MMP-9 genes. The mRNA level of the RECK gene in HBL-100 cells was the highest, but no expression was found in the MDA-MB-435S cells (P〈0.001).CONCLUSION There was a significant negative correlation between the expression level of the RECK gene and invasive capacity in vitro, and the RECK gene expression showed an inverse proportion to that of the MMP-2, MMP-9 genes.展开更多

The absence of a sensitivetumor marker in GC is a crucial factor contributing to this challenge. Methods: Our study focused on investigating a newly discovered long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) known as TCONS_00251376,which has been confirmed to exhibit differential expression in GC compared to adjacent tissues. To further validate theseexpression differences, we collected 22 pairs of GC and adjacent noncancerous tissues. Subsequent cell function experimentsand animal studies were conducted to elucidate the role and underlying mechanisms of lncRNA TCONS_00251376 in thedevelopment of GC.Results: The study revealed a significant upregulation of lncRNA TCONS_00251376 in cancer tissues (p < 0.01) and a consistent upregulation in GC cell lines (AGS, MKN45, BGC-823, and MGC-803). Furthermore, it was observed that lncRNATCONS_00251376 played a promotive role in the proliferation, migration, and invasion of GC cells. Subsequent analysisindicated that lncRNA TCONS_00251376 could upregulate the expression of ETV1, a factor associated with the prognosis of GC.Conclusions: Therefore, our findings suggest that lncRNA TCONS_00251376 functions as an oncogenic lncRNA, promotingtumorigenesis and progression by regulating the expression of ETV1 gene. This highlights its potential as an effective target fortreating GC.展开更多

文摘Background:Taking actions to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including regular engagement in physical activity(PA)and reducing sedentary behavior(SB),may protect against the development of internalizing problems among healthy youth. However,it remains unclear whether such associations exist among youth with chronic pain who often report symptoms of depression and anxiety. To this end,we aimed to investigate the associations between independent and combined PA and/or SB patterns with indicators of internalizing problems in this vulnerable population. Methods:Data used in this cross-sectional study were retrieved from the U.S.National Survey of Children’s Health for the years 2021-2022.Specifically,caregiver proxy reports on sociodemgraphic factors and lifestyle behaviors of 4735 U.S.children and adolescents(referring to youth)aged 6-17 years were collected. We examined independent and combined patterns of PA and SB as exposures, with internalizing problems serving as outcomes of interest.Logistic regressions were used to examine the independent and combined associations of PA and/or SB patterns with anxiety and depression symptoms among youth with chronic pain while adjusting for covariates including age, sex, ethnicity, primary caregivers’education level, overweight status, and household federal poverty level. Results:Overall, our results indicated that PA was negatively associated with anxiety and depressive symptoms.Specifically, youth with chronic pain who engaged in at least 60-minute PA for 1-3 days,4-6 days,or every day reported significantly lower likelihood of experiencing symptoms of anxiety(OR=0.71,95%CI:0.60-0.84;OR=0.44,95%CI:0.36-0.53;OR=0.50,95%CI:0.40-0.63,respectively;all p-value<0.001)and depression(OR=0.63,95%CI:0.53-0.75;OR=0.38,95%CI:0.31-0.47;OR=0.46,95%CI:0.36-0.59,respectively;all p-value<0.001)symptoms compared to those with 0 days.Conversely,SB(operationalized via the proxy screen time)was positively associated with anxiety and depression symptoms.Youth with chronic pain who reported 4 or more hours of daily screen time had significantly higher odds of experiencing symptoms of anxiety(OR=2.17,95%CI:1.52-3.09,p<0.001)and depression(OR=2.30,95%CI:1.48-3.59,p<0.001).Furthermore,youth with chronic pain who engaged in higher PA levels and reported lower SB levels had a lower likelihood of experiencing symptoms of anxiety(OR=0.68,95%CI:0.52-0.87,p=0.003)and depression(OR=0.49,95%CI:0.34-0.70,p<0.001)symptoms compared to those with lower PA levels and higher SB levels. Conclusions:Higher PA levels and lower SB levels were associated with a reduced likelihood of developing anxiety and depression symptoms, which are indicative of internalizing problems, among youth with chronic pain.Future public health actions in this vulnerable population should prioritize intervention programs that promote PA engagement to reduce SB levels.

文摘Circulating fluidized bed flue gas desulfurization(CFB-FGD) process has been widely applied in recent years. All parameters selected in the simulation were based on engineering examples and had certain application reference significance.

文摘In recent years evidence has emerged suggesting that Mini-basketball training program(MBTP)can be an effec-tive intervention method to improve social communication(SC)impairments and restricted and repetitive beha-viors(RRBs)in preschool children suffering from autism spectrum disorder(ASD).However, there is a considerable degree if interindividual variability concerning these social outcomes and thus not all preschool chil-dren with ASD profit from a MBTP intervention to the same extent. In order to make more accurate predictions which preschool children with ASD can benefit from an MBTP intervention or which preschool children with ASD need additional interventions to achieve behavioral improvements, further research is required. This study aimed to investigate which individual factors of preschool children with ASD can predict MBTP intervention out-comes concerning SC impairments and RRBs.Then, test the performance of machine learning models in predict-ing intervention outcomes based on these factors.Participants were 26 preschool children with ASD who enrolled in a quasi-experiment and received MBTP intervention.Baseline demographic variables(e.g.,age,body,mass index[BMI]),indicators of physicalfitness(e.g.,handgrip strength, balance performance),performance in execu-tive function, severity of ASD symptoms, level of SC impairments, and severity of RRBs were obtained to predict treatment outcomes after MBTP intervention.Machine learning models were established based on support vector machine algorithm were implemented. For comparison,we also employed multiple linear regression models in statistics.Ourfindings suggest that in preschool children with ASD symptomatic severity(r=0.712,p<0.001)and baseline SC impairments(r=0.713,p<0.001)are predictors for intervention outcomes of SC impair-ments.Furthermore,BMI(r=-0.430,p=0.028),symptomatic severity(r=0.656,p<0.001),baseline SC impair-ments(r=0.504,p=0.009)and baseline RRBs(r=0.647,p<0.001)can predict intervention outcomes of RRBs.Statistical models predicted 59.6%of variance in post-treatment SC impairments(MSE=0.455,RMSE=0.675,R2=0.596)and 58.9%of variance in post-treatment RRBs(MSE=0.464,RMSE=0.681,R2=0.589).Machine learning models predicted 83%of variance in post-treatment SC impairments(MSE=0.188,RMSE=0.434,R2=0.83)and 85.9%of variance in post-treatment RRBs(MSE=0.051,RMSE=0.226,R2=0.859),which were better than statistical models.Ourfindings suggest that baseline characteristics such as symptomatic severity of 144 IJMHP,2022,vol.24,no.2 ASD symptoms and SC impairments are important predictors determining MBTP intervention-induced improvements concerning SC impairments and RBBs.Furthermore, the current study revealed that machine learning models can successfully be applied to predict the MBTP intervention-related outcomes in preschool chil-dren with ASD,and performed better than statistical models.Ourfindings can help to inform which preschool children with ASD are most likely to benefit from an MBTP intervention, and they might provide a reference for the development of personalized intervention programs for preschool children with ASD.

文摘Little is known about the role of active school travel(AST)on mental health among adolescents. Thus, this study aimed to explore the AST-depression association among adolescents aged 12–15 years from 26 low-and middle-income countries(LMICs).Data from the Global School-based Student Health Survey were analyzed in 51,702 adolescents[mean(SD)age 13.8(1.0)years;49.3%boys).Both depressive symptoms and AST were assessed by a single question self-reported measure, respectively.Participants who reported having 5 days or above were considered as AST.Multivariable logistic regression analysis(accounting for sampling weights)was performed while controlling for gender, age, physical activity, sedentary behavior, and food insecurity, and a countrywide meta-analysis was undertaken. The prevalence of depressive symptoms and AST were 30.1%and 37.0%,respectively.Compared with those not having AST,adolescents with AST were less likely to have self-reported depressive symptoms(OR=0.88,95%CI:0.85-0.93)regardless of gender.Countrywide meta-analysis demonstrated that having AST versus not having AST was associated with 12%lower odds for depressive symptoms(OR=0.88;95%CI:0.82-0.94)but with a moderate between-country heterogeneity(I^(2)=59.0%).Based on large samples of adolescents from LMICs,it would be expected that AST may play a critical role in preventing adolescent depression worldwide. However,it is necessary to consider more country-specific factors when implementing AST-related mental health interventions.Future studies should adopt the solid study design to confirm or negate our researchfindings.

文摘The solid Earth responds elastically to terrestrial water storage(TWS)changes. Here global positioning system(GPS)vertical position data at 31 stations from the crustal movement observation network of China(CMONOC)from August 2010 to December 2016 are used to detect droughts in Southwest China.Monthly GPS vertical position displacements respond negatively to precipitation changes and TWS changes observed by gravity recovery and climate experiments(GRACE)as well as river water level variations.GPS vertical position anomalies(the non-seasonal term)are well correlated negatively(correlations of about-0.70)with the commonly used meteorological composite index(CI)in China and the GRACE drought severity index(GRACE-DSI),but less correlated with the standardized precipitation evapotranspiration index(SPEI).Compared to CI,GPS vertical position anomalies have the advantage of detecting droughts caused by abrupt precipitation deficits in a short time.GRACE-DSI is less accurate in drought monitoring for some periods due to the missing data, while the severity of abrupt precipitation absent in some cases can be overestimated from SPEI with big variability. This study shows the reliability and advantages of GPS data in drought monitoring.

文摘From an ingot to a wafer then to a die, wafer thinning plays an important role in the semiconductor industry. To reveal the material removal mechanism of semiconductor at nanoscale, molecular dynamics has been widely used to investigate the grinding process. However, most simulation analyses were conducted with a single phase space trajectory, which is stochastic and subjective. In this paper, the stress field in wafer thinning simulations of 4H-SiC was obtained from 50 trajectories with spatial averaging and phase space averaging. The spatial averaging was conducted on a uniform spatial grid for each trajectory.A variable named mask was assigned to the spatial point to reconstruct the shape of the substrate.Different spatial averaging parameters were applied and compared. The result shows that the summation of Voronoi volumes of the atoms in the averaging domain is more appropriate for spatial averaging. The phase space averaging was conducted with multiple trajectories after spatial averaging. The stress field converges with increasing the number of trajectories. The maximum and average relative difference(absolute value)of Mises stress was used as the convergence criterion. The obtained hydrostatic stress in the compression zone is close to the phase transition pressure of 4H-SiC from first principle calculations.
文摘This paper proposes a novel method to calculate the best installed capacity of pumped storage power station. Tests on a provincial power grid have shown that the developed method which combines of load characteristics, electric structure and other factors can get the best installed capacity of pumped storage power station easily and has a certain guiding significance for the planning and construction of the pumped storage power station.

文摘We aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of adding apatinib,to sintilimab and chemotherapy in the neoadjuvant treatment of early triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC).In the phase 2 NeoSAC trial, patients with early TNBC received six cycles of apatinib,sintilimab,nab-paclitaxel,and carboplatin followed by surgery. The primary endpoint was pathological complete response(pCR)rate.Specimens collected pre-neoadjuvant therapy and post-surgery were retained for comprehensive analysis of predictive biomarkers and the impact on the tumor microenvironment.Among 34 enrolled patients,24 achieved pCR(70.6%;95%confidence interval(CI),53.0-85.3),and 79.4%(95%CI,65.1-93.7)had residual cancer burden 0-I.Imaging evaluation showed 21 complete responses(61.8%)and 13 partial responses(38.2%).The most common grade 3-4 adverse events were leukopenia(47%),neutropenia(36%),and thrombocytopenia(24%).The 36-month disease-free survival rate stood at 94.1%with a median follow-up of 39.1 months.Notably, baseline high ImmuneScore, immune cell infiltration, and enrichment of interferon-related pathways correlated with pCR.Comparison of pre-neoadjuvant and post-surgery data revealed that the pCR group treated with this novel regimen exhibited an upregulation of distinct immune cell subsets, thereby activating the tumor microenvironment. Moreover, higher oxeiptosis scores were associated with an increased likelihood of achieving pCR.Following neoadjuvant therapy, the pCR group showed a decrease in oxeiptosis score, whereas the non-pCR group exhibited an increase. Our study suggests that apatinib, sintilimab combined with carboplatin and nab-paclitaxel chemotherapy showed a promising clinical activity and manageable safety profile in early TNBC and merits further study.ClinicalTrials.gov registration:NCT04722718.
文摘OBJECTIVE To investigate the expression of the RECK gene in human breast (cancer) cell lines, and to determine the relationship between RECK gene expression and the invasive capacity of the breast cancer cell lines.METHODS The invasive capacity of breast (cancer) cell lines including HBL-100, MCF-7 and MDA-MB-435S were determined by the Tran- swell method. The mRNA level of the RECK gene in HBL-100 cells was the highest, but no expression was found in the MDA-MB-435S cells (P〈0.001).CONCLUSION There was a significant negative correlation between the expression level of the RECK gene and invasive capacity in vitro, and the RECK gene expression showed an inverse proportion to that of the MMP-2, MMP-9 genes.

文摘Background: Although there have been significant advancements in the treatment modalities for gastric cancer (GC) inrecent years, the overall prognosis remains poor, particularly for individuals in advanced stages. This highlights its potential as an effective target fortreating GC.

文摘Assessing individual risks of healthy aging using biomarkers and identifying associated factors have become important areas of research. In this study,we conducted a literature review of relevant publications between 2018 and 2023 in both Chinese and English databases.Previous studies have predominantly used single biomarkers, such as C-reactive protein,or focused on specific life course stages and factors such as socioeconomic status, mental health, educational levels, and unhealthy lifestyles.By summarizing the progress in this field, our study provides valuable insights and future directions for promoting healthy aging from a life course perspective.
文摘Background:While tumor cells can affect the biological behavior of malignant tumors, the tumor microenvironment(TME)also plays an important role in the occurrence, development, and metastasis of tumors. The dynamic changes in the immune and stromal components of the TME and their correlations with breast cancer(BCa)patient prognosis may help guide clinical practice. Methods:In this study, transcriptomic data and clinical information of BCa samples were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas database. The immune score and matrix score were calculated using the ESTIMATE algorithm.Examining the differentially expressed genes(DEGs),protein–protein interaction network development, and univariate Cox analysis helped identify CD48 as a key BCa-related gene. Results:The DEG and survival analysis results showed that CD48 was significantly upregulated in BCa samples compared with normal samples, potentially affecting patient prognosis.Gene set enrichment analysis showed that high CD48 expression was mainly associated with immune-related pathways, suggesting that CD48 may be an important factor for maintaining an immune-dominant TME in BCa.Analysis of tumor-infiltrating immune cell types showed that high expression of CD48 could inhibit the infiltration of M2 macrophages and promote the entry of CD8t T cells,CD4t T cells, and M1 macrophages into the TME to exert anti-tumor effects.Conclusions:CD48 may serve as an effective biomarker for predicting BCa patient prognosis and a potential immune-related therapeutic target.

文摘In order to solve the problems of unclear film separation in traditional topsoil residual film recovery machine and secondary broken film caused by the toot-shaped structure,a film-soil conveying and vibration separation device was designed. It mainly consists of a first-level vibration conveying chain, roller extrusion and crushing mechanism and secondary conveyor chain, which can complete the functions of conveying, vibration separation, and crushing separation of film-soil composite.Firstly, the mechanical model of the transport process of the film-soil composite was established, and the transport stability of the film-soil composite was analyzed. The vibration characteristics of the vibration mechanism were analyzed by analytical method, and the vibration model of the vibration mechanism was established. The distribution state of residual film-soil mixture was observed and measured by high-speed camera, and the influence of vibration wheel speed and installation distance on the distribution height of residual film-soil mixture was found out.The crushing mechanism of the residual film-soil composite was proved by studying the roller extrusion and crushing mechanism. The Box-Behnken response surface test method was used to carry out field tests on the transport and vibration separation device of film-soil with soil content rate and film leakage rate as evaluation indices. The results indicated that the influencing factors on the soil content rate in a dscending order are conveyor chain speed, vibration wheel speed, and installation distance. In contrast, the factors affecting the film leakage rate, also ranked from largest to smallest, are conveyor chain speed, installation distance, and vibration wheel speed. The combination of film-soil separation parameters is as follows:conveying chain speed is 1.6 km/h,vibration wheel speed is 189.7 r/min,installation distance is 769.7 mm,at this time the soil content rate is 18.31%,and the film leakage rate is 9.49%,which meet the requirements of the recovery of residual film in the plough layer. The conveying and vibration model established in this study can provide a theoretical basis and technical reference for elucidating the soil-film separation process.

文摘Background:There is growing evidence that an acute bout of exercise positively influences executive function(EF).However, the existing evidence primarily originates from laboratory-based studies, and only a limited number of studies have extended this work to real-world classroom settings.Accordingly,in the present study,we aimed to employ a real classroom setting to determine whether acute exercise-induced effects on EF emerged. Methods:All 49 students who enrolled in a real-world course agreed to participate in the experimental protocol and the final sample was composed of 43 individuals(13 male and 30 female participants).Participants were asked to perform an acute bout of exercise(i.e,10 min at moderate intensity)before a real classroom, and on a separate day, complete a non-exercise control condition.EF was assessed via Naming,Inhibition, and Switching variants of the Stroop task.We used a paired-samples t-test to compare participants’cognitive load between two conditions and a repeated-measures ANOVA to investigate changes in RPE.What’s more,a repeated measures ANOVA was used to examine potential pre-to post-class changes in EF-related parameters(e.g.,inverse efficiency scores, reaction times, and error rates). Results:A pre-to post-class benefit in performance efficiency across all Stroop task variants was shown. In both exercise and control conditions, there was a significant main effect of time, with lower inverse efficiency scores(IES)(p=0.003)and shorter reaction times(RT)(p<0.001)observed from pre-to post-class.Moreover,performance gains varied by Stroop task-type,with the Switching task showing the longest RTs and largest IES,reflecting its greater cognitive demands.Importantly,a marginally significant three-way interaction among task-type,intervention,and time(p=0.052)indicated that the exercise intervention enhanced post-class performance on the Switching task.Post-hoc analyses revealed significantly lower IES and faster RTs at post-class for both the Naming and Switching tasks, particularly in the exercise group(e.g.,Switching IES:p<0.001;Switching RT:p<0.001).Conclusions:These findings suggest that pre-class acute exercise enhances EF and provides a benefit to cognitive flexibility.Accordingly, our results extend previous knowledge by indicating that the cognitive benefits of acute exercise observed primarily in laboratory settings can be translated to real-world educational contexts.
